Continuing on this post because I said in the tags that it goes together with the Codywan desert husbands au. I just think it would be really funny if neither Cody or Rex (or anyone of the surviving batch) knew that the others are alive, other than Fox.
Fox helps with the Rebellion, being a contact and such, because he is not that much in the limelight (Bail and Breha are taking care of that part), and he, of course, goes by a codename. He did recognise Rex, like, immediately when he heard about things going on with other clones leaving the Empire and such. He couldn’t give himself away, because there is still a risk that him getting recognised could lead to Bail and Breha being implied to be part of the Rebellion. Fox keeps an eye out on Rex though, to make sure he’s okay.
Then Leia gets kidnapped, they reach out to Obi-Wan, and Fox learns that Cody is alive and well as well. But because of the whole thing surrounding the twins, he decides that it’s the best to stay away still.
This leads to, eventually, Luke meeting up with Leia’s family after the Death Star and coming back to Cody and Rex like “...do you guys have a brother?” “Multiple, how’s so?” “Well I mean Leia’s dad looks a lot like you, so I just thought...” “....I didn’t think we looked much like Bail Organa?” “No, not him, the other dad!” “What other dad?” “The one who looks like you, this tall, grey hair, kinda looks like wants to murder you?” “....I swear to GOD -”
Fox hears the scream to the other side of the base.
“Leia, sweetie, do a solid for your old man?” “Okay?” “Kill me.”

the thing about when people say “oh, eddie was just comforting chrissy because he’s such a good guy” or even “his first response to seeing a girl in distress was to make her feel better hes so scrunkly!” is like.... that’s just not what happened there. eddie’s first response to chrissy’s visible distress was to be defensive and haughty. he thought she was scared of him, and it hurt his feewings, so he was brusque and then tried to bail completely. he had a very “sorry to be an imposition >:(” energy.
it wasn’t until chrissy reassured him that he wasn’t the problem, and beyond that, asked him to stay, that eddie relaxed. i love eddie a lot, but it was chrissy who was instinctually kind and empathetic here. she was the one who put her trust in a relative stranger, one most of her peers mock and judge and even fear. maybe he was her only option to get drugs, but she chose to open up to him and be vulnerable. he just reciprocated.

personal vent
but my brother has social anxiety and always has but i hate how it keeps us from having a closer relationship because i think we both consider each other close friends (in addition to being siblings), but our entire relationship - how often we see each other, what we do, etc - is basically defined by him. he bails on me for any reason, he gets nervous with change which means getting to know my partner is basically out of the question, he rarely commits to anything, he clams up when i or anyone tries to talk to him about anything serious, when we do hang out he basically just talks about himself, and he relies on me to make plans big or small... like, i know some of this is just normal siblings-taking-advantage stuff, but it also feels like if i put my foot down about anything that we'd just never see each other, and he doesn't really care about my life. idk! just frustrated! my methods of bonding with him clearly aren't his preference but idk what else would be either.

Pastaaaaaa!!
First of all, that chapter was so hot, omg. I both hated and loved reading this before I got up for work because now it's gonna be in my mind all day
Second, the note at the end that said "did anyone notice what Matt may have forgotten to do?"...I was too busy thinking about Jane absolutely wrecking Matt that I totally forgot Matt was supposed to use the night of the gala to prep his opening starement for Frank's trial
And now I'm nervously awaiting the fallout that might still happen between him and Foggy, and the possibility of Matt not giving Jane the attention she needs with these insecurities and hurt since he'll probably be in extreme panic mode
As always, you have me on the edge of my seat, absolutely desperate for the next chapter
I wanted this chapter to be hot as hell so I'm reading about the thirst suffering like
AS FOR THE NOTE... I won't spoil too much buuuuut yes, let's just say Matt absolutely did get sidetracked trying to help everyone everywhere all at once, and that ball sure does look like it got dropped. 👀
But it's fine, right? He can just run over and pick that one back up... but which one does he drop next while trying to hold the Castle Case ball?
Sure would be terrible if it was that insecurity and hurt ball though...

"Your uncle is a patient man"
"Not that patient" Owen says in the most tired loving dad way.
Owen, baby, everyone knows Luke has you wrapped round his little finger. You're not fooling anyone.

In a modern au where somehow all of these people are alive at the same time and the ages work out conveniently—Alicent, who is getting out of her shitty Targ marriage, becomes great friends with Elia, who also left a shitty Targ marriage, her distant cousin Baelor’s new girlfriend.
Alicent sets up Elia and Baelor (She is somehow baelors great aunt despite being 10 years younger liek ???) While Aemond is frantically trying to hit on Elia and slide into her dms because he simply can't let a pretty dark haired milf slide out of his grasp.
