My latest horrible idea: Hamilton as Invader Zim, aka The Irken Revolution  hip-hopera

Cast:

Zim - Alexander Hamilton (duh)

(Irken) Dib - Burr

Skoodge - John Lawrence/Philip Hamilton

Purple -  Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson

Red - Hercules Mulligan/ Madison

Tak - Angelica Schuyler

Tenn - Eliza Schuyler

(Irken) Gaz - Peggy/Maria Reynolds

Control Brains - King George

Tallest Miyuki - George Washington

Cross-over plot:

The Irkens rebel against the control brains which were once considered the benevolent rulers but have since been treating the Irken race like mindless slaves.

Zim, a young defective smeet wants to prove himself in the war and comes to New Irk (🎵in New Irk you can be a new man) to join the revolution. There he meets Dib, a smart, calculating Irken who is also defective but was able to hide his defection by being more reserved (Talk less, smile more). He also meets and bonds with Skoodge, a well good hearted and determined young soldier, as well as Red and Purple who are also eager to get in on the action of the revolution and carve out a name for themselves.

The resistance is looking bleak for the Irken general and leader: Almighty Tallest Miyuki, who hears about Zim’s eager and aggressive tactics and calls on him to be her right hand man (much to the disappointment of Dib who also wanted the position) - meanwhile the boys are all doing what young Irkens who have recently stopped suppressing their Hormons do and are checking out the LADIES!

Zim takes an interest in a trio of elite female soldiers called the Sky-Soldiers (or Skydier Sisters) who he meets through Dib as one of them is Dib’s smeet-mate Gaz. Initially, Zim clicks with Tak who meets him on a level of passion and determination he’s never encountered before, but quickly shifts his focus to Tenn when Tak pushes him in that direction. Tak and Tenn are incredibly close and would both die for each other. Tenn is very sweet and Tak knows she’s into Zim so she pushes them together despite her own attraction to Zim (yeah, we are throwing IZ canon COMPLETELY out the window with this one.) Zim and Tak remain close friends.

Zim and Tenn are mated. Dib is jealous of Zim’s continued success but continues to  scheme and plan and 🎵WAIT FOR IT!🎶 Zim meanwhile is butting heads with Miyuki who is trying to hold him back from his desire to destroy and blow up stuff. Zim and Tenn are stationed on separate fronts but Tenn requests leave when she discovers that she’s pregnant and, much to Zim’s disappointment, Miyuki gives him leave too - blah blah “stay alive,” “ten duel commandments,” “meet me inside,” “that would be enough” all that goes down within the perimeters of the AU.

Purple, Skoodge, and Red bring back armies of defective Irkens and  ally-Vortians to help join the fight and Miyuki finally calls on Zim to lead this new  Battalion in a last surge against the control brains. (🎵We’ve won- we’ve won! WE’VE WON! WE’VE WON!) the World turns upside down.

Once the war is over Zim and Tenn have a son. (I donno, maybe it’s Skoodge, maybe it’s Gir.) then Zim and Dib go into the law together until Tallest Miyuki invites Zim to be her treasury-secretary (or whatever).

Then POLITICS!

Purple come back from his time as ambassador to Vort and reconnects with Red who isn’t happy about how Zim is managing the government (also red is racists because Zim was a defective). Purple has been made secretary of state and comes in opposed to Zim’s plans. - Zim gets seriously stressed out and can’t leave with Tenn and Tak and the kids to go on their planned vacation to Plookasia because he has to work.

Meanwhile Gaz shows up with con in her back-pocket and seduces Zim in order to exploit him.

Dib gets increasingly frustrated with how Zim just seems to get away with whatever he wants and is jealous of Zim’s power so he runs against Tenn for a position on the counsel and beats her - permanently damaging his friendship with Zim.

Purple wants the Irkens to assist in the war that is breaking out on Vort but Zim talks Miyuki out of sending troops because it’s stupid and they are not strong enough to fight in someone else’s civil war.

Purple, Red, and Dib plot to take down Zim. (🎵It must be nice, it must be nice, to have Miyuki on your side🎵)

Tallest Miyuki is tired and wants to retire so she steps down from leadership and is replaced by Tallest Spork. (Welcome folks to the Spork administration.) Spork is friends with Purple and makes Purple his second, firing Zim.

Purple and Red, still threatened by Zim, confront him about what happened with Gaz. Zim flips his shit and reveals the truth that he was sleeping with her and she exploited him. - he continues to flip his shit and tells everyone about it before he can be blackmailed again. Tenn is heart broken (she hopes that he buuuuurns🎶) and their son dies in a duel over the scandal. (Blah blah- “it’s quiet uptown”)

Spork ends up being a horrible Tallest (not actually like John Adam’s. John Adam’s is still the fucking best and I love him, fight me) And now Purple is Running for tallest against Dib… which, ya know… follows the same final plot as the musical without really any deviation or further explanations needs.

Okay, there’s my war crime fan fic summery. This would be much better as a series of animations but I can barely draw and DEFINITELY can’t animate. So have some word crimes.

It took me a while to figure out the context in which this could actually happen. Probably Ben Solo fighting with the Resistance, trying to prove and redeem himself and make things right. He'd feel the pressure to do it all by himself until it would crush him completely. Rey would remind him to take a break (unintentional Hamilton reference this time! lol I swear on my heart, body and soul) and keep him grounded.

I am not comparing Ben to Hamilton btw, in case it comes across like I am. My head is just very random sometimes.

Ok so because I was rewatching Disney and DreamWorks imagine if Ratonhnhaké:ton was in like a musical, kind of like Hamilton but in real life. I don't know how that will work and I'm slowly losing cells so yeah : P

“There is something you must know before you leave.” The clan mother, his grandmother, spoke solemnly.

Ratonhnhaké:ton stared at her and waited for her to continue.

She was giving him permission to leave their village after all. The least he could do was heed her warnings and take her words to heart.

“These white men have a curse placed upon them.”

“A curse?” Ratonhnhaké:ton repeated with a frown.

“Yes, they are slaves to the music only they hear.” She explained, “We know not why it is so but they would be taken in by the desire to sing and be unable to resist it. No matter the place or the time, when they hear the music, they must sing.”

She stared at her only grandson as she continued, “Your mother and I… we were worried that you have gotten their curse but not once have you ever shown to bear the same curse as they have. That might change once you walk among them.”

She must have seen the disbelief that he was trying to hide for she sigh as she said, “You must be careful, Ratonhnhaké:ton. Who knows what this curse truly entails. We can never be certain that this curse is not simply the inescapable call of music.”

“I… understand.” Ratonhnhaké:ton nodded, “I will be careful.”

The clan mother knew that Ratonhnhaké:ton didn’t truly understand but she said nothing, only telling him to be careful.

He will understand soon enough.

Unorganized Notes:

So my idea is that the Europeans are the ones hit by this ‘curse’. They’re compelled to sing whenever they hear the music and it happens a lot. The natives see this and are like “???” but to the colonizers, it’s just… par of the course.

This does mean those who weren’t born or raised in the parts of Europe like Adéwalé do not sing. He does sing with the crew when it’s sea shanties but any dance number and such? Nope, he was the ‘straight dude’ in the Jackdaw.

This means that Achilles also doesn’t sing so he’s able to tell Ratonhnhaké:ton how it looks and feel like to give him a head’s up.

The Kenways, Edward, Haytham and even Jenny, usually sing very dramatic songs. It shows as the kind of “find my freedom and goal” uplifting songs for Edward, the whole “I want to be me” kind of songs for Jenny and the “villain song that is always the best song in the album” type of songs for Haytham (bonus points for Haytham having his own Gregorian chant backup singers to connote his Templar background).

Ratonhnhaké:ton does not sing but… he does hear the music.

If you want to turn this into a Hamilton crossover, go ahead. That means Ratonhnhaké:ton has to deal with Hamilton’s… everything whenever he has to talk to Washington XD

Whatever is making them sing sees Ratonhnhaké:ton as ‘part’ of the ensemble so you get scenes like Haytham singing a duet with Ratonhnhaké:ton but Ratonhnhaké:ton does not know the lyrics and would rather strip naked and run away from wolves all night long than sing.

The same thing happened to Charles Lee but Ratonhnhaké:ton was busy beating the crap out of him.

The whole confrontation with Washington, Haytham and Ratonhnhaké:ton ends with Haytham and Washington singing with some ‘dead spaces’ here and there where it’s clear that it was Ratonhnhaké;ton’s turn to sing.

The music in the homestead are always jolly (unless something bad happens) and they always include Ratonhnhaké:ton. Unlike the other times, they don’t try to make Ratonhnhaké:ton sing and Ratonhnhaké:ton just joins in the festivity more or less. Achilles takes the ‘I’m the grumpy one who doesn’t sing’ part in these musical numbers instead.

… Haytham definitely sang a very embarrassing love song that was meant to be a duet to Kaniehtí:io. Kaniehtí:io was amuse. Haytham was embarrassed.

Why are the colonizers singing? Isu BS. Apollo, Bragi and Meret got super drunk and fucked up the ‘latest’ batch of humans to be processed for shits and giggles. They ran away before Yaldabaoth saw them and he’s been so overworked that he just… didn’t give a shit and sent these batch as is.

Update to the HamilZim AU

History of New Irk:

Before the rebellion against the control brains started the Irkens colonized anther nearby planet as New Irk, building a smeetery there so the mighty Irken race could continue to expand. They even built an additional academy on the planet more specifically for education in military sciences and engineering than strictly a military academy.

Because they had a smeetery not directly under the influence of the control brains, the New Irkens began developing PAKs that were capable of independent thought and were not of the same network for the control brains to influence.

This was when the control brains started making it a lot harder for New Irkens to get their hands on materials and started taxing them for every little thing. - hence, making the new Irkens doubt the benevolence of their rulers.

The real turning point for the revolution was when the control brains started sending soldiers and invaders to monitor the New Irkens. These were highly trained security drones almost completely incapable of independent thought.

After an incident in the New Irken city Bo-Stan in which several drones open fired on a crowd of angry service workers (dubbed the Bo-Stan Slaughter - yes. Really), the colonists formed a counsel of representatives from accross the different colonies on the planet to decide what to do.

Defectives

Similar to canon IZ, defective Irkens are Irkens with PAKs from the control brains that don’t function properly. Usually this means that they are from Old Irk but often sympathies with the rebellion because they are capable of free thought. Zim and Dib are both defective Irkens, however Dib was brought to New Irk as a smeet and basically grew up as a New Irken at the New Irk academy.

Defectives are often considered dangerous from both sides of the war because they are wild cards. Their emotions are all over the place and they could be used as spies for either side. Their PAKs are from the control brains which makes them dangerous to New Irk if they are ever “fixed” but their ability to think freely makes them dangerous to the control brains if they side with New Irk.

There is a general consideration on New Irk that defectives should be used as drones and nothing else - meaning that Defectives have to try to blend in and work harder to get anywhere.

Invader Skoodge - though being a New Irk native - sympathizes with the defectives and thinks they should be utilized in the war. Skoodge dreams of forming a Battalion of defectives, utilizing their high emotionality and passion against the control brains.
