(1/2) Stray thoughts/headcanons after Thanks to Them: 1. It's been pointed out that Phillip wearing Caleb's jacket and Luz wearing Eda's jacket are symbols of people they have loved and lost. I propose that Camila's jacket is MANNY'S, completing the trifecta and allowing Manny to symbolically be with both of them as they enter the BI together. 2. Luz's background shooting star is the Wailing Star as a testament to the first time she made Amity laugh and the turning point in their relationship.

1), I will take that headcanon and cry; Camila misses Manny so so much and that’s so evident in the way she loves Luz and guh!!! The Noceda family, man. 

2), Do you. Do you understand what you just did to me. I’d thought that was just a normal shooting star, but oh my god. Oh my god. You’ve ruined me with this observation. 

The Wailing Star. The phenomenon that essentially made Luz and Amity really connect for the first time in the series; the Wailing Star is the reason they discovered their mutual love of Azura, the reason for their first positive interaction, the reason for them coming together to fight someone else. And Luz worked it into her laptop’s background. Because she's sappy like that.
