NSJCNSIDNAIFNW YESSSSSSSS I LIVE FOR SLIP UPS OF THE STUDENTS CALLING MIC/ALL MIGHT/AIZAWA/MIDNIGHT MOM/DAD

Izuku hadn’t slept in days. A side effect after the war/nightmares/insomnia/etc. and everyone can kind of see that he’s loosing it

Momo gives him some sleepy time tea, Tokoyami and izuku stay up and keep each other company sometimes, kaminari offers to knock him out, Uraraka asks if they should get midnight to use her quirk on him (I don’t claim to acknowledge what happened to her in canon, I know this to be true)

Nothing though.

It happens after training one day

All might asks to meet with him some time that week after classes, so they’re setting up a time and izuku says, “see you then, dad!”

And walks away

What a mad banquet of darkness

He does not realize the class staring wide eyes at what just happened

He does not realize all might’s shocked and blushing face

He does not realize Shouto having a heart attack because, holy shit, I told you guys-

He does not realize what he said until walking down the halls with a near comatose Kirishima and Tokoyami

He stops walking

He goes red in the face

He stops breathing

Now, Kirishima and Tokoyami realize that he must not have exactly been “all there” for the previous conversation with all might, and is now just registering what he’s said

“Mido-bro, you okay?” 😬(<- kiri trying to smile, but being absolutely terrified of izuku running off and starting a new vigilante arc because he just referred to his mentor as, “dad”)

Tokoyami watches in mild horror as izuku dissolves into a muttering storm

Kiri, Tokoyami, and dark shadow pick up a few words here and there, “dad,” “villain origin story,” “goodbye,” “disowned,” “hates me,” “deku,” “this is it,” etc.

Dark shadow, bless their heart, is trying to calm izuku down too but honestly, izuku is a little too far gone at the moment

Kirishima and Tokoyami really don’t know what to do, but they eventually get now in shock izuku back to the dorms, where he promptly sits as still as anyone has ever seen him for several hours

Everyone is concerned

Meanwhile, all might is happier than he has been in a long while. His son protege called him dad? Holy shit.

Aizawa and mic will not admit that they wanted to be called dad before all might, but it’s true

Midnight is having the time of her life here after she heard what happened. She starts referring to all might as a dilf, and the man resembles a tomato again

Shouto 10000% walks up to all might after it happened and asked him why izuku felt the need to lie when he asked if he was all might’s secret love child during the sports festival

All might is shook

Everyone is in a state

The only ones who knew that this was inevitable were Shouto (obviously), Uraraka, Kaminari (who usually buys into Shouto’s conspiracy theories), shoji, toru, and Jirou

The next few days consist of all might trying to catch izuku’s attention and izuku promptly avoiding him

He’s gotten even less sleep than before, and his work is starting to show that

Eventually, it is time for his meeting with all might and for the first time, izuku is NOT looking forward to it

He’s still not used to people, let alone adults (save for mama Inko), caring about him, and he had a huge slip up with the man he’s idolized since he was practically born

All might has also been stressed this whole time because his son/protege has been avoiding him!!!! Did he do something wrong? Is he embarrassed? Does he not actually think of him as a parental figure?

When izuku gets to his office, they sit there silently sipping tea for a few moments

There totally aren’t a dozen students/faculty listening in on them

Not at all

They would never

Eventually, izuku breaks the silence with a slew of apologies and how it’s okay if all might hates him now or doesn’t want to be his mentor

All might is confused, sad, and mildly horrified

The prince of nonsense has made a come back

How could izuku think that he doesn’t want to help him anymore? All might is more than happy to play the mentor roll and even happier to play the parental roll for this absolute dork

He stops izuku’s onslaught of apologies, and second guessing, and hurt, and tells him point blank that izuku’s name in his phone is literally, “son :)”

Izuku cries

All might cries

The people eavesdropping in the vents and outside the door cry

Nezu smiles

Shouto is insufferable about it

An absolute menace

Izuku tells him that, no, all might is not his biological father, he just has come to be a parental figure for izuku and that they love each other like father and son

Shouto is not buying it.

Neither is Kaminari

Monomais also insufferable about it, but for a different reason. He just likes to tease izuku about it (does offer to fight his birth father though)

Eventually, it comes out that izuku’s birth father left after izuku was diagnosed quirkless (personal headcanon. Daddy issues. Huzzah.) and then everyone is out for blood

Now, one time, Midoriya hisashi comes back and tries to be all parental after his son saved the world, because would it really be one of my headcanons without hurt/comfort/drama/etc? No, I’m a sad motherfucker

So, imma say that he comes to UA and tries to pick izuku up from school early

Hah. Hahahahahha

No.

All might asks who he is, and he says that he’s izuku’s father

Izuku is uncomfortable and confused and ajifnajfjsjfjejbd

Totally does not expect all might to go, “oh, sorry, you must be confused! See, I am Izuku’s father”

Class a is in shambles

They’re all 1000% there for izuku and glaring daggers at Midoriya hisashi, but the dadmight fan club is beside itself

Hisashi is #confused tm

Did Inko re-marry???

No. Izuku just adopted the #1 hero (fuck endeavor) as a father :)

He does make a scene though :/ the motherfucker

Belittling izuku, berating him, etc.

Iida’s thinking about his stain arc again. Maybe premeditated murder really isn’t that bad?

Shouto is also thinking about iida’s stain arc and wondering if he can join?👀

The entire class is just wondering how the fuck someone as kind, and heroic, and smart, and caring as izuku could be related to. That.

They’re all training to be heroes, and this man is hurting someone. That means he’s a villain, right? I mean, present mic was 1000% ready to fight reporters who were trespassing and harassing students, this man is doing just that, so. Villain.

Izuku starts dissociating though, because really, his sleep deprived brain does not want to be dealing with this right now, which is completely understandable

His class and Real Father have his back!

Eventually, hisashi leaves and Nezu puts him on a no entry list

After class, all might brings izuku into his office for tea, and helps ground his son

*Dadmight mode activated*

It’s never really deactivated, but it’s going into overdrive

After izuku is grounded, they go out for ice cream. Because izuku deserves ice cream and affection goddammit

Izuku’s contact name for all might is also 10000% dadmight

Shouto saw before this whole thing happened and put it in his PowerPoint of proof for the secret love child theory

Okay enough about my personal beef opinions on a decades old vampire romance series that was a staple of my preteens/teenage years. Instead let's get into the nitty gritty of things that a lot of y'all keep me around for. Okay then! Onwards-! And beware spoilers ahead-!!!

I'd just gotten done watching episode 24 of Urusei Yatsura: All Stars, aka the first episode of season two. And my thoughts??

Ohmigosh I'd missed this cast of chaotic idiots so much.

Seeing Ataru, Lum, Shinobu, Mendo, Ten and the rest of the cast again after a year was so nice! I'd forgotten how much I adore these characters and their shenanigans with the weird and strange and it was like being greeted by an old friend that you haven't seen in literal ages. Also the opening, holy shit.

Maisondes once again serving us all some delicious fucking food. I adored the OP, like the beat, the music, the chaos and colors, it all just screamed Urusei Yatsura insanity. Plus the little Easter eggs in the PV, just fuck yessssssss I love that shit. I eat that shit up, please don't ever stop feeding me this David Productions I'm begging you. Now enough about the OP, onwards to the episodes!!!

The chewing gum episode, surprisingly fun-! I like how David Productions didn't start with anything too big story wise for the episode. Given how it's been a year since the first season of this series, it's nice that they gave us a run down of Urusei Yatsura in its lil introduction and within its first episode of the season. The chewing gum episode was like a ride in a way, reintroducing the characters and their personalities and their connections with one another as well as with the main protagonist Ataru and his special lady Lum. I had an absolute blast seeing them all interact and seeing the shenanigans that Ataru gets in to! Seeing my pathetic little meow meow being his usual flirtatious, yet Tsundere self made me stupidly happy. He's honestly such a fun character and seeing him get into trouble is always hilarious. Especially when paired with Lum. Speaking of Lum-

My darling, my babygirl, my angel-

Jokes aside, ohmigosh I missed her so much!! Seeing her and Ataru being the hilarious, slightly unhinged duo once again made me smile so much. They're just simply great! I especially love how not only did we got to see Ataru use his brain cell and be clever, but we got to see Lum do it too! Just watching Lum and Ataru have this battle of wit and trying to outsmart one another was hysterical. And the ending with Lum being so smug while Ataru is irritated that he was foiled, was simply comedic. And now, my biggest thoughts on the second part of the episode.

The language barrier episode.

This episode, good God it feed my Atalum needs well. Just seeing Ataru feeling guilty and yet trying to brush it off in his usual Tsundere way, when in reality he wants nothing more than to fix things with Lum. Just ohmigosh, it made me so stupidly soft. Like this episode showcased what makes Atalum so special and just how complicated it really is. You see how much Lum's presence has really grown on Ataru, how much he really notices the little things. Like keeping his windows open and unlocked because Lum uses them to get inside, or how he cried when he realized that Lum still didn't understand what he was saying. And yet in reality she did understand what he was saying. As soon as Ataru's arms were around her and holding her close and she saw his expression. Lum understood exactly what he was trying to say, language barrier be damned. Ataru and Lum understand one another so well it's just so fucking sweet.

Also side note-

INUYASHA REFERENCE MY BELOVED THEY TALKED ABOUT MY GAL KAGOME AS THEY SHOULD.

Anyways that's really all I gotta say. I loved it, and I can't wait to see the rest of the season!

I just finished binge watching season 4 with my friend so I am going to try my best to write down cohesive thoughts. (Warning: They’re not very cohesive) Spoilers ahead!!!!

Ep. 1: I love Kitty and Thomas in this episode!!! The way Kitty’s voice changes when she becomes his agent is hilarious! And then Robin becomes his bodyguard!!! Fanny and Julian bonding over their voyeurism will never not be funny. The reference to Ötzi is my favourite but I think it’s because I’m a massive nerd. Mary’s description of her day to day life was honestly so wholesome and beautiful I loved it. I related far too much to Alison’s anxiety about being liked by guests and such. Also Cap and Mick at the end <3

Ep. 2: AAAAHHHHHH CAP AND KITTY BONDING EPISODE THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING EVER YESSSSSSSS!!!!! Mary backstory time!!!! Annie teaching Mary how to be a girlboss!!!!! Also Thomas is a confirmed former drug addict and I honestly love that for him. Pat becoming a prison guard is incredibly funny! Wonderful Humphrey and Thomas moments in there!!! As soon as Mike’s friends talked about their little “business opportunity” I immediately knew it’s was a shady pyramid NFT scheme type situation. Cap’s bug obsession!!! Alison trying to bond with the ghosts!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHH THE CAPTAIN WITHOUT HIS JACKET AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Ep. 3: The closest thing we’ll get to a musical episode!!!!!! Honestly good on Alison for putting the ghosts in their place. And Mike being the best husband ever is the sweetest thing!!!! “Julian fingering Fanny’s lip” will probably be my favourite Fanny joke to date! DOUBLE CAP GUN NOISES!!!! <333 I love Mary sticking up for herself!!!! Then she goes and has a self care day!!! “My heart belongs to daddy” 👀 okay Cap. Aaaaand Mike is running around in the nude… good for him. The sorry song is the greatest thing to grace this earth! Literally better than any other musical undertaking ever! They had choreography and everything! They left a review for Alison!!!!! I genuinely thought Mary was gonna burn the place down, I love my feral housewife!!!

Ep. 4: This one broke me. But birdwatcher Cap makes me incredibly happy! :) the fakeout with Robin and then making it so Mary is the one sucked off absolutely destroyed me. You can’t just kill my wife like that!!!!!! It happened so suddenly!!!! And then it shows all the different ways the ghosts grieve, it absolutely broke my heart. Then Robin talks about how he looks to the stars as a coping mechanism 😭. And ALISON WEAVED A BASKET WITH MARY AND IT’S FIVE POTATOES HIGH!!!!! Then there’s Cap about to cry and Julian comforting him! And the fact that Humphrey didn’t even know 😭😭 I can’t with this show this is a comedy why am I sobbing!?!?!? Beautiful episode. Damn you Ben Willbond! (Affectionate)

Ep. 5: New ghost!!!! He seems like such a chill guy I love Maddocks. (I really hope that’s a reference to Yonderland) He really is just the guy ever. I love the fact that Robin has known about him for so long. I wanna stab Barlcay <3. Mike trying to get out of the bubble thing is so silly I love it! And Robin and Julian playing with the giant chess board is everything!!!!

Ep. 6: Holy shit what an opening. I knew Button House HAD to be fine but a little voice in my head kept telling me otherwise. I love that Julian is trying to be a good person just to prove Cap wrong. Idk why that’s so amazing to me. Robin backstory!!!!!!!! I knew the struck by lighting theory was right!!!!! I feel so validated!!!!!!!!!! Also ROBIN IS A THUNDER GOD NOW!?!?!! Like he can control lighting essentially. That’s a lot of power for one ghost to have. My guy can CONTROL THE SKY!!!! Over all a pretty open-ended ending. I’m very excited to see what they have planned for season 5.

I really liked season 4! The vibe was definitely different but it wasn’t bad at all. I love how we got more Humphrey and the Plague Ghosts and I think each character had their time to shine and it all went really well! Episode 2 is definitely my favourite!

And also from the other day you were sososo right about them being the only people who actually like each other and enjoy each other’s company, even purely from a platonic sense nobody else in this show is consistently happy with anyone except for them two, at least not to the extent that they’d hold their relationship over any kind of business decision (especially with tom being willing to go to prison for Greg in 3x06 and shiv throwing tom under the bus in 2x10) and I know it’s because neither of them came from the same wealth as the Roys and didn’t have the trauma and childhood of living as a Roy, as one of Logan’s children, so it makes sense that they’re the ones with the least fucked up views of relationships and the capacity to enjoy the kinds of wealth they live in together and ahfkgfdhtksethksth I love them smmmmm <3333

OH AND ALSO off topic but I saw somewhere that the costume designer works so that Tom and Greg’s outfits always pair well together whereas his and Shiv’s deliberately contrast and now I CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT because holy shit it’s so true they match so well <333

[and willa and connor]. like???? it just makes me OOF so much because their friendship is just so. it's so. they offer some light to the dark you know? there cannot be darkness without light and there cannot be light without darkness so they have to be there to offer some of the light to this bleak as fuck show. love is something you just do. like is something you don't work for like that... i dunno it just. the likeness comes to them so naturally you know? like after all the bullshit of meeting one another and their defence mechanisms and not knowing if it's real is out the way and they're still with each other, they start to see that they like and care for one another and it's NOT A JOB, ITS NOT HARD WORK. it just happens! loving is hard work! liking is not! at least in the context of this showwwwowoekwd like holy fuck.

AND ABOUT THE WEALTH YEAH. YEAH. those two are the only ones who seem to be able to spend their wealth on things that make them happy both alone and together. they do it for comfort. wealth in terms of the emotional and affectionate too, they give each other. just god. A. i love them tooooooo so much <333

AND AAAAAA THE COSTUMES YEAH. YEAH. YEAH. they specifically say they complimented the outfits with each other BUT I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE SHIV THING AH. god. help. BUT YES i do see here with the pics you senttttt oh mgyfuijkmewlfwef. PLUS the whole. tom wearing a suit called a gregory in 3.09 like what the fuck??????? what the fuck. what the fuck!!!! don't even SPEAK to me about this episode though with those mfs oh my god they were unhinged asf, ridiculous! moving their hips towards each other, greg acting the ever de-escalating spouse "he's a lovely guy", THE FUCKEN. HI FINN I'm reporting back on the arcana :) thoughts so far (this is long as hell lmaoo)

-this game is so gorgeous and so well written. like holy shit. those graphics especially are so good. like for a mobile game?? that's impressive

-I did end up romancing julian, but I honestly wish they didn't make you choose a path so early on, bc there's so much I wish I could learn about these characters before I could start romancing them. but then again I'm used to stardew's romance system, which is super slow going compared to this. and I get why a visual novel would want to push you onto a romance path early, but it still feels like I barely know these characters ykwim

-also they dive into stuff that I read as romantic/flirting SO EARLY. but I guess it just comes with the territory of a dating sim visual novel 🤷

-that said: julian's story so far is amazing. I've only gotten as far as the prologue, but I love his character already

-I am LOVING the murder mystery angle

-I really hope this game expands on the magic and fortune telling angle, though. I like the tarot reading stuff so far, and I hope my role as a magician gets explored more

-this game is SO GOOD. thank you for spam posting about it so I could find out about it

YESSSSSSSS I definitely get what you mean there, the romance is very fast but you get to know them as friends in other routes, which really helps you get to know them better. it's still kind of a shame AND I don't wanna spoil anything but I'm just gonna say you will probably not be disappointed the lore goes *deep* with this game

Meanwhile, Khonshu watches the whole thing play in silence and away from both of you two's eyes. He was..intrigued to say the least, seeing this much hospitality from people who, as you've said, don't really know who you are or the good things you've done for your community. They're just..really enthusiastic of your presence and he thinks it is very telling of your personality.

The people also greeted Marc and welcomed him, he politely thanked them for their warm greetings. That's when the teasing remarks came. You were quick to retaliate and deny their accusations and firmly told them that he was here for work purposes which is not a lie as he really is here to take down the gang that escaped his clutches and ran here to Cebu(from what he gathered). And since the country is yours and Ynaguinid's territory, you two did not hesitate to offer help.

*Te = short for Ate (pronounced aH-teh), this is what we call to our older sisters or anyone a little older than us that is female or presenting female

*Nong = short for Manong, this is what we call to men way older than us
