Unsuspecting city. Or city-park chronicler: hmmm I wonder if I could make a web domain about metroparks?
Columbus, Ohio/Franklin County: Hi! I will be calling my park system Metro Parks and using the domain name metroparks dot net
Unsuspecting park enthusiast: ...okay but that leaves some other options—
Dayton, Ohio/Montgomery County: Hey! Yeah, okay yes my park system is CALLED Five Rivers Metroparks (it actually makes sense even if it doesn't make you think Dayton) but you can find it at metroparks dot org!! 😃
Unsuspecting park enthusiast or system: ...
Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio: it's okay. we had to put our park systems online specifying the city! clevelandmetroparks dot com. metroparkstoledo dot com. 🙂
Detroit+Ann Arbor area: Hi Ohio. we will be using metroparks dot com thank you very much for noting this down 👍
Unsuspecting park enthusiast or system: ...well. if I can't do a url about metro parks, maybe I could still do it about how great parks are?
nobody:
Hamilton County, Ohio (contains Cincinnati): We are Great Parks of Hamilton County, distinct from City of Cincinnati Parks despite co-managing a couple of properties, and we are happy to let you know that you can find us at greatparks dot org!
...
Butler County, Ohio (adjacent): yo, I know YOU aren't necessarily in Butler County but learn about our parks anyway at yourmetroparks dot net! ✌️

I clown my ex daily, especially since apologised two years after what he said and tried to get back with me.
I like coffee shop aus so. I'd like to see osamu, in a coffee shop and I'm studying cause college is kicking my ass rn.
there’s bickering. there’s bickering going on behind you while you’re trying to study. and maybe it’s the day. maybe it’s the buildup of formulas and essays and graphs. maybe you just need a little bit more caffeine but the last remnants of liquid cling to the side of your cup, a sad lightness to it when you go to pick it up.
and the bickering doesn’t stop. it actually grows just like your irritation. you love this little spot, you do and tsumu, the barista, sure knows how to make a good drink, but just before you’re about to go up to the register and say anything, a plate of your favorite pastry lands next to your textbook.
you look up, mouth hung in shock. words don’t come and you reckon you might have fried your brain with all this studying. he looks like tsumu but his nametag says samu.
the man points at himself, “i’m samu. tsumu’s twin. work at a different store but i’m helping him cover a shift since someone called out.”
“oh, hi,” you muster. that explains that. but then your gaze falls to the item on your table.
“noticed ya been studying for a while and i figured ya would need a snack,” samu explains. the relief of his assurances are short-lived when the barista pulls out the seat in front of you and sits. he places his arms on the table, the proximity of him overbearing as his eyes scan over your belongings. “so what ya working on?”
you blink at him, “just school stuff.”
“yeah, looks hard,” then he pushes the plate closer towards you. “what are ya doing? eat. ya can’t study properly without food. tsumu was saying ya would want a cheese danish but i’m telling ya, mid at best today. ya wouldn’t want that, promise.”
you’re about to say something but jump at the sound of an irritated yell.
“samu! ya scrub! SCRUB!” tsumu kicks open the swinging door to the back, “i told ya to scrub the dishes before ya put it in the dishwash—!” he screeches even higher at the sight of his sibling seated at your table. “SCRUB! what are ya doing bothering the customers? get back to work!”
samu runs off with a childish giggle and gives you an off handed farewell. you think about him when you take the first bite, delicious as he promised.
you think about him again before you sleep. and you hope someone else calls out on tsumu’s shift so you can have a chance to see his brother again.
