I'm up here in my room, trying and failing to fall asleep,and I get a call from mom. I'm thinking, already? she locked herself out already? so I pick up and go buhh? I'm outside (right) and there's a cat out here (out there?!?) and she really really wants to come in (????) and I can't open the door without her getting in.

turns out there's this stunning grey calico kinda tortie kinda looking darling who just came right up on the porch and started loving up on mom and got right in her lap and then just like. was ready to come in. and she did get in for a second, started looking around, but put up zero resistance when I picked her up to put her back out.

so anyway now there's food water and a cat bed on the front porch and mom's posting on fb trying to see if she belongs to anyone near here.
