I've tried Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop brand for the first time. Her vagina smelling candle fiasco made me curious, could Goop really be worth the time, effort, & money involved?

With the brick and motar shops closed down the web page is the only way to order...no smelling it before buying. 😅 I'm sorry to say the Goopgenes Nourishing Repair body butter is a big no from me. For all the fancy pr, directions in French -tres chic- it smells like rosemary gone bad. While the cream is missing a few things like petroleum & parables preservatives, it's surprisingly thick. It did take quite a lot to moisturize my entire body, it didn't spread well but it does moisturize.

The fragrance is made up of jojoba, Mulberry leaf, & caviar lime (an Australian finger lime). This mix of scents put me off the product. Well, that and the $65.00 price tag. Healthy or not Goop body butter isn't for me.

If my vagina smelled like "geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose and ambrette seed," I'd go see my doctor. But, then again, I'm also no Gwyneth Paltrow. Her shop Goop recently introduced a $75 candle named "This Smells Like My Vagina."

Described as having a "funny, gorgeous, sexy, and beautifully unexpected scent," the overpriced candle is not meant to actually smell like Paltrow's private parts (thank goodness). The original description, now removed, explains, "This candle started as a joke between perfumer Douglas Little and GP. The two were working on a fragrance, and she blurted out, 'Uhhh..this smells like a vagina'..." The rest is votive history.

If you were hoping to get a whiff of (this) vagina (candle), sorry weirdo, it's already sold out.
