i need everyone to know that this is what the Gundam Universe figure of Aerial will look like:
SHE LOOKS SO JACKED?!?!?!?!?
...honestly, i think i might like these proportions more than the original! the HG is accurate to the anime, which is awesome, but the Aerial’s design never quite struck a chord with me in the first place. i would even say i prefer the Lfrith.
besides, GU is a mid-to-lower end toy line, not a model kit, so it’s a bit like comparing apples to oranges. it’s not Robot Damashii/Spirits. it’s meant to be cheaper and for a Western target audience. it has been known to take some liberties with the original design (to put it mildly).
it’s like you put the MG shoulders on the HG Barbatos. not Bandai’s best moment.
at least Wing has a nice gold paint job, and a shield. which is more than many GU figures can say.
I decided to make a picture where I'd have my Gundam Aerial and Dilanza Sol looking like they are fighting on another planet and I really like how this one turned out. Again, I added the before picture that took.
The Gundam Heavyarms from "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" has joined Gundam Universe and is available at just $24.99.
Its heavy look and signature massive Gatling cannons are perfectly portrayed in the figure. Beam Gatling can be held in one hand or slung on the back, with the Army Knife opening and closing with ease.
This amazing product is made up of ABS & PVC and comes in a size of 15 cm also, it has been styled to emphasize motion with interchangeable accessories.
Commissions are open! These are detailed banners and they are 24 USD each. Please DM if interested. They will have a dark simple background to make your character pop out! Additionally, it can be humans, anthro, anime, or Pokémon!
“The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” Went To Toy Insider’s 2021 “Holiday Of Play" @ Current
Hey friends, so I am here once more with another redirect over to “The Chronicles of Piercing Ken” website because the fine folks over at the Toy Insider recently held their annual “Holiday Of Play” event. I used to feature that event coverage here on PiercingMetal but with so much of the products being for a younger set, I’ve moved it onto “The Chronicles” which you can peruse in full by…
Here are two pictures that I made using my Gundam Universe Gundam Aerial action figure! I added each of their before pictures that I myself took and am going to try to continue to do that going forward.
