I love how both Sparta and Miletus celebrated Apollo having a boyfriend.
Sparta -> Hyacinthus (had a festival called the Hyacinthia, where they celebrated their love, mourned Hya's death, and celebrated his resurrection to Olympus)
Miletus -> Branchus (built a temple dedicated to Branchus & Apollo, even naming it after the kiss Branchus gave Apollo)
so cute <3

Sculpture of Apollo Citaredo in Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli
Originally, the sculpture from the 2th century depicted the city of Rome as a goddess. In the nineteenth century it was restored as Apollo Citaredo. The statue is part of the Farnese Collection.

I begin to sing of Pallas Athena, the glorious goddess, bright-eyed, inventive, unbending of heart, pure virgin, saviour of cities, courageous, Tritogeneia.
Homeric hympn to Athena.

I need to put this out there just for the record and ask this to you guys once and for all...
Am I the only one who cried when the Arrow Of Dodona sacrificed itself for lester (apollo) ?
I mean, Did I really cry over a talking arrow for 5 hours? I cried over an inanimate object guys?!?!
Can't be JUST ME, right??!
I am not the only one who gets Emotionally too attached to a sassy arrow with great comebacks and only speaks in Shakespearean language, right!?!?
Guys, we all are losing our mind together, RIGHT!?!?
Someone come over here and assure me that we will all PJO fans go crazy together..

I just did a tarot reading for Lady Hestia to see if she would like to work with me. I asked some basic questions like, what do you think you could help me with, what could I help you with, ect.
When it was finally time to ask her if she would like to work with me the Strength Card flew out and landed perfectly on my lap. I looked at the meaning and was a bit confused, so I shuffled it back in and said "not every card that flies out is applicable"
I pull a different card and suddenly get this feeling to check which cards are associated with Lady Hestia...
Strength is one of her cards -_-
Note to self, don't doubt your readings, check your self and make sure you have all the information before disregarding something
