So the idea of Legend of Zelda is that there are 3 souls forever trapped in a cycle of Hero, Villain and Goddess. They fight, someone wins, someone *always* dies, then the world is stuck at the mercy of the winners until the 3 are reborn and the cycle restarts.

Sometimes link is a farm boy, or some kid in a village or sometimes the princess' guard, but he's always the hero, Holder of the triforce of courage.

Zelda is sometimes a princess, sometimes a pirate, sometimes she's a priest, but she's always ends up a piece of the goddess who's suppose to seal away the evil. Holder of the triforce of Wisdom

Ganon is always the same. He always remembers his past lives unlike the other two who eventually remember (tho zelda finds out pretty fast). Hes always a gorudo male destined to end up a monster who tries to take over, corrupted by fate. Holder of the triforce of Power.

The idea I had was that Ganon (before he's corrupted) ends up meeting wise zelda and mute link and he befriends them, ends up not wanting to kill them. He learns and teaches them things and eventually they both remember and don't want to fight him either. Then of course, the blood moon rises and fate forces their hand to fight as Ganon gets taken over (your choice of good or bad ending.)

There is pretty much zero hints in breath of the wild that link is Bi yet it is now fanon that that BOTW link is a bisexual twink simply because he looks embarrassed when crossdressing to get into the gorudo town and is an aforementioned twink.

Serious question here

in legend of zelda, the gorudo are all women except one man every hundred years. so they go out to other places to find men to mate with. if they are successful, they have a child. how does the reproduction work? is it like pokemon where it’s either the same kind as the mother or father? how do they determine if they have enough gorudo blood in them to call themselves gorudo? if they reproduced normally, wouldn’t the blood be watered down to the point of non existence?

or do they reproduce asexually?

and what about gorons? i’ve never seen a female goron. 

my theory is that the gorudo reproduce with sex but the little ones come out all gorudo. kinda like pokemon except the father’s chance is basically zero.
