I need everyone who thinks "gen z is ruined" "gen z is doomed" "gen z won't be able to achieve anything" and so on, including people of said generation, to realize these same things were said for every generation and will continue to be said for every generation.

You might not believe it but many of our grandparents were considered "rebels" in their time. So were our parents. Every generation that refuses to conform to the teachings of the previous one because they're outdated, is considered "rebelious".

People who were born when electricity was first invented and grew up with light or cars were considered as "having it easy". The same thing happened when students started writing on paper instead of stone. Everyone said it'd make them lazy and incapable of accumulating any skill.

This happens all the time. Every generation is considered progressive and the previous generation doesn't like it because change to what you've always known is scary. Even us, we will grow older and things that gen alpha and so on does or believes in will seem insane to us. We'll have trouble with them too because "it's too far" while for our kids they'll be the norm.

My point is, all this isn't new and it definitely isn't about us. Just because they tell you you're incapable of anything because of this and that, it doesn't mean they're right. We'll grow up and we'll have achievements and we'll be fine, just like every other generation was and just like the next will be.
