Day 318 of 14, 600 Art Meditation

3/28/23, ‘Ocean and the Abalone Shell Heart-Art Bundle’

The Intention behind my Heart-art is to be able to consistently speak from the Heart. I want to be able to talk about what is meaningful to me, what I’m grateful for, what delighted me … Unconventional in every way, which is why now I’m going to use pair this artwork from the Ocean bundle to say this:

The other night I was watching The Marvelous Mrs Maisel for the 12-ish time, and my eyes were on my hands and I was really only listening to show.

It dawned on me that the reason The MMM is so genius is that it works as Audio only. It could be a Radio Show and still be completely delightful.

I feel so grateful to be around someone else’s creative amazingness. I wonder if the screen play-writer Amy Sherman-Palladino does this intentionally - writes it and listens to it as words-only first? I would love to know.

It made me think about films and shows that I love, how each layer and piece of it has to be able to stand on its own - visual beauty, profound words, our surroundings, the sound. If you separate out the pieces of The MMM, each piece is something to be cherished. The words, music, clothing, set, each character (not just Midge or Susie), each plot line stand alone …

When you put it all together it might even be too overwhelmingly alive to absorb, which is how I felt when The MMM first came out. But that’s a different story!

The sunlight on the designs remind me that the best kind of creativity happens with a wonderful setting … Right now I have sunlight and rain for ALL my gardens, but someday I’m going to add in more creative minds … On this Trust journey of mine …

This man came into my life when I put myself first for once. I prayed and stayed meditating in daily walks and I believe and know he was my answer. He is my all. I fall in love with not only the man he is and the man he will become, but also for the worth and love he has made me love within myself.

I thought I was living before, but I was just merely surviving...existing. He has helped and still helps me to know true love not only with him, but also within myself. I don't believe you can fully be living if you don't fully know love, at least for myself it is the case. Love is so important whether it's within or with someone else. So wake up and love. Wake up and live. Don't settle for less. Be true to your heart. I learn more and more how true love is and what it's like to be loved.

Before I feel I've been loved for my body and appreciated for my personality. Now...now I know I am seen and heard for my mind, loved for the depth of my soul and admired for the beauty that radiates from the body I have. For once I can breathe and be my most vulnerable and know this is where we're meant to be. For once I'm not scared of love, because I know this is no act, no facade, just true intentions of loving and growing.

Together mean

No matter the road traveled

No matter the height of the mountains

No matter the depths of the water

No matter the change in weather

Together forever through all

Picking up the other in times they fall

my sibling emailed me back and clearly researched the thing i was upset about and used a wrong version of a word, but it was *almost* right and wouldn't even have known to try to use these words if they [they for anonymity not the nonbinary 'they' ] hadn't looked into what i was talking about and i feel really loved and tbh i didn't expect it and i'm not crying you're crying 💗

I never thought I’d live past 11.

Watching my happiness click off with the TV after a late night episode of Scooby Doo hurt me in a way I have yet to recover from.

Having to tell my parents that their baby girl tried to kill herself forced everyone to be sad with me.

That was never the goal.

Growing out of that was so incredibly hard.

None of my peers understood what it was like to feel absolutely disgusted with yourself but never having the energy to do something about it.

Most of them still don’t know the sheer desperation of doing your best to have it be the bare minimum for everyone else.

I’m 18 now.

My happiness is not compared to that of a normal person.

When your whole life is shaped by childhood depression you never really learn how to function.

At my best, I cannot make my bed, nor brush my teeth every day, or sit in a room of people and simply exist.

Learning to take care of myself the best I can still elicits comments asking when the last time I had showered was,

Or why I sleep in my makeup.

The only thing driving me forwards is structure, I cannot give up on everything I am working towards.

Even though the thoughts of never being the age to reap those benefits haunts me.

I don’t think I’ll make it past 25.
