It's an overcast day and I'm going to have the beach to myself, you thought... and then, this fucker trudges along. There's this ghost story of them coming out when it's overcast, and since it's almost never truly overcast, well, who would've thought. They won't eat or harm you, they will mind their business until they disappear behind some lava rocks. Maybe they're there all the time, disguised as rocks, but maybe not? Maybe they live in undiscovered caves beneath the barrancos, where there's always a little stream of water running towards the shore. Who knows?

Next to the port of Morro Jable, south Fuerteventura, Playa De Enamorados Beach. There are not usually many tourists here, and visitors are well-received by locals. It boasts perfect white sands with the occasional pebbly section although at high tide, you must wade through the water to go back and continue through a small stony area that forms something akin to a natural cave.
This is the perfect place for picnics, as there are no facilities nearby due to the wild nature of the beach.
Waves are moderate and swimming is usually pleasant, however, there are no lifeguards, so care must be taken in and around the water.

The sketch page which also had the raw version of the first "sand slinker" image. I'm not sure whether I like smooth and shiny or smooth and matte skin better. Maybe there's both?
Those sketches came after a series of doodles revolving around Goal, and I started to think about the reasons behind his looks and which came first. Some drawing and worldbuilding groove, yay! :)

TOURISTS GO HOME
The government doesn't listen to us, we need to boycott tourism in the islands and we beg tourists to stop coming.
For the record, these are some of the comments:
We aren't a theme park
We aren't fucking holiday islands
We are not your fucking bartenders
We aren't your colony
People live here
Tourism DOES NOT PROVIDE TO THE LOCALS
Most of the business that work in tourism aren't even based in the islands, it's from the mainland, German businesses and other nationalities
The Canary Islands are one of the poorer zones of spain
And the most important thing is that we are islands: our territory is very limited
Do you know what happened roughly after a year of a volcano eruption that got rid of whole towns and suddenly people lost everything?
A Resort got announced
Luxury apartments
Everything destined to tourists
Meanwhile there's still people with no house to live in due to the volcano eruption
Our government is full of greedy pigs that won't do shit
We don't care if this offends you, as a tourist. We believe in another form of tourism, but not this massive one.
It's not normal we have the same density of poblation of Japan
It's not normal we hold 14 million tourists a year
It's not normal everyday there's news about some tourists going into reserved areas zones protected by the biosphere and messing them up
It's not normal there's more and more new hotels getting built in areas that are supposed to be protected
The manifestation and riot is the 20th April
