I’m also a monster fucker. I agree though adding more hate isn’t going to solve anything. Hating on older fans is nothing new, some people think we have no business being in the fandom because of our age but don’t realize we’re the whole reason the fandoms exist. As if people are dissing the music video for Lost by Linkin Park. What the actual fuck? First of all, listen to the damn lyrics. The lyrics are about being stuck in your head, lost in your own mind, unable to escape your past and all the wrongful things that have happened. Being caught up in mess. The music video is “all over the place” on purpose because it’s depicting what the inside of someone’s mind is like. As someone who suffers with depression, listening to the lyrics is incredibly therapeutic and the music video stood out for me because it’s quite literally how I see everything in my own head. Confused, blurry, messy. Nothing is perfect in regards to the animation because nothing is perfect in the mind of the person singing the song or the person resonating with the words.

Also besides the meaning behind it all, have some fucking compassion for the fact that Mike and the guys didn’t have to release anything else in regards to Chester. They could have kept it for themselves but they’re absolute legends and gave it to us because they knew it would be important for fans to hear it. Be fucking grateful.

AND if Chester was alive rn, he wouldn’t give a fly fuck what anyone has to say about it. So you’re wasting your time.
