The vibes of an alien apocalypse vs a zombie apocalypse are very different. Aliens are like "This was our world! We were here first! Now we're gonna blow up your ship and win!" and a zombie apocalypse is "This is gods punishment for our sins, to constantly see the faces of decay that reflect what humanity transformed into. Zombies are a lesser threat than our neighbors. We are a doomed race." and I just think that's kinda cool.
