does anyone else have sensory issues around their necks? i can't have anything touching my neck, but i'm usually ok with larger fabric with tighter pressure (eg i can handle a thick scarf that cover's my whole neck but a turtleneck that cuts me off mid throat is really uncomfortable, or a hat with a tie around the neck is too uncomfortable)
anyway i want to make a pixie hood but all the cute ones have a little clasp or tie around the neck and i just know that will be uncomfortable for me. i'm thinking of maybe doing a hood attached to a scarf?
this is the only pattern i've seen that seems like it would be comfortable for me but i'm not sure if i like it

This year's christmas knit! The "Juniper Jacket" knit in Ask "Fløte" and "Du grønne glitrende", with "Bouquet"-buttons, all from Fabel Knitwear.
A 1930s and 1940s inspired jacket with festive colorwork.
I had to go up two sizes so that it would fit me and my guage. I am very pleased with it, but I learned that I have to loosen up when i knit. Definitely a New Years knit-resolution!
Merry christmas!

This is the very first sweater I ever made!
It is the Diagon Alley Jumper by Fabel Knitwear
The yarn used is Galler Yarns Pure Alpaca Naturals in the color Chocolate. It's a 100% alpaca DK weight yarn. I used like 1.5 skeins I believe. Each skein is 660 yards.
It's a size inclusive pattern (we love to see it).
I knit the 2XL size and I knit it exactly to pattern. It's knit bottom-up but she does have similar looking patterns that I believe are knit top-down.
This top turned out sooooooo good and wish I could wear it more but unfortunately I live in a place that's hot most of the year so I only ever get to wear this like maybe a week every year.

Sézane - {Inspired}
Sézane is a French clothing brand dedicated to designing quality, classic pieces. The collections are often vintage-inspired and in earthy color palettes. I find the knitwear to be unique, detailed, and feminine, adorned with cables, lace, colorwork, and bobbles.
I have included some of my favorite Sézane knits from current and past collections, as well as some patterns from Etsy and Ravelry that I find fit the Sézane aesthetic.

i already have a big knitting project queue w Ruke garments (andes cardigan, grey sheep bobble jacket, art sweater), some portuguese folk knitting collected by Rosa Pomar (mainly socks & algibeiras), some shawls in the style of the local folk dress, fitted cotton lace stockings, the polyrhythm sweater that was in a recent pom pom mag issue, Lydia Morrow's bub bonnet and rumbler raglan
and now Fabel knitwear releases the Giselle blouse and the Bernadette turtleneck 😭

Finally got more Farmer’s Daughter Mighty Mo Napi. Unfortunately, it’s been four years, and then new yarn does not match the original. It’s much warmer and darker. Frankly, I like it quite a bit better than the cool tone yellow, but in this particular instance it’s not ideal. Guess I’ll just have to alternate strands.

Another Christmas‐knit! The "Fuzzy Pixie Hood" knit in strands of Athena and Mohair Silk in the color "Juvel", tied together with a "Livia Button" from Fabel Knitwear.
A 1940s inspired hood, with a Norwegian fjord and winter landscape in the background.
Still a very merry Christmas to all!
