i think most of us forget that we often gravitate to the same kind of content, same tropes and AUs and scenarios, especially when we sit down to work on our own stuff and the imposter syndrome kicks in

(They/them) What info we can find on them points them to being a disco star back in the 70s with a streak of associated crimes and occasional murders. We're guessing eventually venues ran dry and they became a Contractor... Or we presume anyways, we might be getting tricked.

Role: Trickery, sabotage, and occasionally picks

Stats: Slightly faster then average speed, 125 health, no armor

Stock Arsenal:

Primary: Suppressed Pistol - Sometimes all you have left is a gun. Fires quickly and reloads slowly. Secondary: Trap-Jector - A hologram projector and the bag of tricks! On a cooldown, you may place a gadget which takes a second to get set up. Most gadgets self-destruct. Stock four is an explosive trap, a gadget that highlights enemies in range to you and teammates, a gadget that drains ammo and meters, and a gadget that hacks buildings near it. Melee: Taser - For self-defense and self-offense. Hits with this viewpunches (moves the player's aim as if it were punched, like a large flinching effect in other source games) and slows the enemy in question. Misc: Sleeve PDA - A disguise and cloaking gadget, at once! Cloaking and disguise works like TF2's but placing down traps also undisguises you.

5. Do you plan or jump right in, and if you plan, how much do you like to do before you start a story?

I do a LOT of plotting. My outlines are usually dozens of pages and highly detailed, and I almost always complete those all the way through to the climax of the fic before I ever write the first chapter. I plan out plot elements, dialogue bits, recurring motifs, character arcs, etc all before I ever write the first real sentence. It's kind of exhausting. Every now and then I'll treat myself to a bit of fun and just write unplanned drabbles, but they never get posted.

17. Do ideas come to you in pieces or full?

A bit of both. Usually the initial inspiration begins with a general plot (for my current ST fic, it would be 'Steve and Robin have an apartment, Eddie sleeps on their couch') and a motif or emotional thread I want to pull ('what to do with a broken thing?' and 'I just like doing nothing with you'). Then I spitball plot parts or character motivations until the story has a beginning, middle, and end.
