TouchStarved LIs giving MC gifts
Main 5 + Elyon and Sen
Kuras
Only likes to give usable gifts
Really gives you a gift when he thinks you need it
But it's always nice quality
Ais
Only gets you a couple of small things over the course of forever
Like a piece of jewelry or a new cloak/shawl
But it's super pretty and you can tell he pays attention to what you like
Leander
Doesn't give physical gifts
He has to save his money to buy drinks for everyone and their brother so they will like him
Will gift you favors or flowers he picked
Mhin
Not the gift giving type
They would rather give you experiences
Like introducing you to the stray cats or taking you to a pretty place
Vere
Not a gift giver in the slightest. He would rather be the one receiving the gifts
He might buy you a rice cake or something...maybe
Would take you to see musical performances (also a maybe)
Elyon
Sugar Daddy
Buys you everything you want and even things you don't want
Usually always clothes or jewelry but sometimes things like an expensive well-crafted hand mirror or music box.
Sen
Not much of a gift giver
If she does give you something it's probably hand made
Would rather spend time with you

Weekly Update: Karin Updates!
Read the Update on Kickstarter: CLICK HERE
Hey, everyone! It's about time for our weekly update, so let's get to it!
Karin Updates
Karin went through a lot of changes, but also didn't! As a BattleCON Online character, a lot of Karin's card changes happened when she was being balanced there. As a result, Karin has some changes, but doesn't have that many! She's still probably the Karin you know very well. Some of the minor quality of life stuff includes some extra stats on Dual and more mobility for Jager on her UA.
Instead, let me highlight something else on her kit!
Red Moon Rage used to miss unless the opponent was in the exact space for it to hit. With the new version changes, we've converted some attacks from "hit or miss" to "sub-optimal and optimal". This way, the attack still has some utility even with not used properly. For example, Red Moon Rage with Power from forge Gauge gives Karin a REALLY fast poke if she ever needs it!
Argent Interview Series: Trias Blackwind
And it's Jance Eylon again, and time with our final interview with an Argent University candidate! It's storytime with noted bard and student council president, Trias Blackwind!

Tournament Formats for BattleCON, EXCEED, and Pixel Tactics
Hey, everyone! With Gen Con coming soon, it is important to know about how the tournaments for our games will be held. In this article, we will talk about the different tournament formats for BattleCON, EXCEED, and Pixel Tactics.
 The Swiss-System
Before going into the specifics, it must be said that all our tournaments will make use of the Swiss-system. The Swiss-system is a tournament format wherein players are not eliminated. Instead, players are grouped based on their performance in the tournament so far, and play games against competitors that are performing similarly. After a certain number of rounds, the player with the most aggregate score earned during each round of the tournament is declared the winner.
We make use of the Swiss-system to ensure that you get to enjoy the full tournament. Nothing feels worse than sitting down and preparing for a tournament only to be knocked out in round one!
Should you feel like you need more information regarding the Swiss-system, CLICK HERE!
 BattleCON
The BattleCON tournaments are to be played using the aforementioned Swiss-system. In each round, competitors are to fight one another in a best of 3. When entering the tournament, each player brings and registers 3 specific characters to compete with. They will be using these 3 specific characters for the whole tournament. Before each set, both competitors are able to ban one of their opponent's characters. This is done blind. After this, the competitors simultaneously pick their first fighter and play the first game.
Remember that, once a character wins a game, that character must be selected for the next game. This means that the winner must continue using the same character. On the other hand, once a character loses a game, that character cannot be selected for the future games. The player who can no longer select a character for the next game is declared the loser. This means that you must defeat both of your opponent's characters before they defeat both of yours!
It is also important to remember that there are some banned characters and cards for all BattleCON Tournaments. This is done in the interest of keeping the tournaments more competitive and balanced, while also allowing for easier flow. Here are the restrictions:
The following characters are banned and cannot part of your team:
Kaitlyn
Arec
Ottavia
The following characters can be brought, but have special conditions:
Clive (you must remove his Core Shielding module from his kit)
Endrbyt (you must bring a pre-built Endrbyt at the start of the tournament and cannot change his kit during the tournament)
 EXCEED
The EXEED tournaments will be identical to BattleCON tournaments. If you already read the above section, you may skip to the bans/restrictions list below.
They are to be played using the Swiss-system. In each round, competitors are to fight one another in a best of 3. When entering the tournament, each player brings and registers 3 specific characters to compete with. They will be using these 3 specific characters for the whole tournament. It is also important to remember that there are some banned characters and cards for all EXCEED Tournaments. This is done in the interest of keeping the tournaments more competitive and balanced, while also allowing for easier flow. Here are the restrictions:
The following characters are banned and cannot part of your team:
Alice
 Pixel Tactics
Pixel Tactics tournaments are also played using the Swiss-system. Unlike BattleCON or EXCEED, you won't know which cards you'll be using in the tournament as players will be drafting their decks for tournament play!
Tournaments will make use of a drafting pool of cards called "The Cube." The Cube will only contain legal tournament cards, so you don't have to worry about accidentally drafting cards you can't use. Also, The Cube will likely feature cards from almost every set, but will not feature any cards from the Megaman Pixel Tactics sets.
At the start of the tournament, players must draft cards from The Cube in order to build the decks they will be using. Each set of tournament players will be dealt a "pack" of 8 cards from the cube. They select 1 card from this 8 to be their Leader. After this, all players will pass the remaining 7 card pack to the player on their left. With this new pack, players will now select 1 of the 7 cards to be a Hero in their deck. They, then, pass the remaining cards to the player on the left. This is repeated until all the packs' cards are drafted, leaving all players with 1 Leader and 7 Heroes.
The above process is, then, repeated 3 more times. However, it is important to note that the direction in which you pass the packs is alternated. If the first round had players pass to their left, the second round must have players pass to their right. Once all this is done, all players must have 4 Leaders and 28 Heroes. Each player may then place up to 3 of their Hero cards back into the Cube, possibly lowering their deck totals to 25.
Once the decks have been drafted, players are to play each other in best of 3 sets as if it were regular constructed play. At the start of each game, players must select their Leader from their drafted pool of 4 Leaders and draw one less card in their opening hand.
Should you need more information regarding draft rules and playing with constructed decks, CLICK HERE!
It is also important to remember that there are some banned characters and cards for all Pixel Tactics Tournaments. This is done in the interest of keeping the tournaments more competitive and balanced, while also allowing for easier flow. While there is no danger of accidentally playing any of these cards, it might be useful to remember which cards and strategies won't be available to you in the tournament. Here are the restrictions:
The following characters are banned as Leaders and cannot be chosen as Leaders:
Van Sorrel's Double (PT5)
Mormelence Kite Piedro (PT5)
Shoshannah Kasselock (PT5)
Jance Eylon (PT4)
Alice Zero (PT3)
Endrbyt (PT3)
Exhufern Le Marigras (PT3)
Iaxus the Shattered (PT2)
Luc Von Gott (PT1)
Laine Shevelt (Freelancers)
Nabatina Malephaise (Seven Sisters)
The following characters are banned as Heroes and cannot be chosen as Heroes:
Empath (PT5)
Failsafe (PT3)
Zone Warrior (PT3)
Drone (PT3)
Technologist (PT2)
Warlock (PT2)
Scientist (PT1)
Trapper (PT1)
Mascot (PT1)
Butler (Seven Sisters)
Deceiver (Seven Sisters)
Mage (Price of Victory)
There you have it, folks! These are our tournament rules. We do hope you enjoy attending or hosting your own tournaments! Happy Gaming!
