I got executed because I lost hide and seek. The method of execution was going on a roller coaster with a 100% death rate. It was a pretty fun roller coaster, other than dying.

DanganGarden: A Danganronpa Flower Zine is out and it’s free for download here! [SPOILER WARNING FOR THE DESCRIPTION] I was thrilled to get to draw Peko for this, and wanted to do a throw back to the execution imagery from Chapter 2, with Fuyuhiko reaching out, but bringing the battlefield represented instead as the field of flowers! The camellia, too, is a very iconic and versatile bloom, with different meanings depending on different backgrounds and colours. The camellia is native to China, and its meaning there is a sign of romantic love and devotion between a man and woman, because of how the flower falls from the plant without losing its petals when it dies naturally, staying together to show the commitment of two lovers, even in death. It can also be connected to protecting one another and adoration. In Japan, the camellia is known as the tsubaki, and it was a sign of an honourable death for a samurai, as well as love, when red. They are not to be given to the sick or injured though, as the flowers ‘behead’ themselves when they die. The white colours are associated with devotion, adoration and care for someone, but also death and mourning, and the spread from Fuyuhiko who is only beginning to process his loss. The red represent passionate and romantic love, a deep desire, something I put near Peko as she only just processed Fuyuhiko’s confession before being sent off to fight for the last of her life, going out with honour. Anyways, flower ramble over, and I highly recommend checking out the zine to see the other wonderful works within!

Prompt #3465
"Ah, great, public execution. Just what I always dreamed of." The superhero rolled their eyes. "Going for the whole 'same crowd that cheered your coronation will cheer at your execution' energy? Original."
"I- what? Hey! Don't critique your own death sentence!"
"It's my execution," the superhero retorted. "I'll critique it if I want to. What are you going to do, kill me twice?"

Please please please I’m begging you. Please stop romanticizing Islam. Don’t give any religion immunity from criticism. Don’t make any religion, especially Islam, ‘sacred’. Don’t be afraid to speak your mind about organized religions. If it’s ok to criticize Christianity, it’s more than ok to criticize Islam. Take this from someone who has lived all their life under Islamic dictatorship and has seen everything that could go wrong with a religion, go absolutely wrong.
Tumblr media
This man, Javad Rouhi, has been sentenced to death by hanging, not once, not twice but three times. He is accused of insulting Islam and the Islamic regime is going to kill him for it. You can’t do anything for the executions to stop in iran. But please, don’t hurt us more by talking romantically about a religion you don’t know nothing about and have decided to turn a blind eye to how corrupt people in power have been throughout the human history using institutional religions to suppress, torture, brainwash and kill innocent people.
Don’t make religions sacred. Don’t make it forbidden to criticize religions. It kills people.

Ling Fushun, Chinaʼs Communist revolutionary leader moments before his public execution by the KMT nationalists in 1936.
Tumblr media
His last words were:
“Folks, do not fear death, my family branch may end, but the revolution will live on!”
The reactionaries killed him slowly by Lingchi (death by a thousand cuts).
The execution lasted for 2 hours.
The barbarity of the KMT nationalists knew no boundaries. Today, the KMT is located in Taiwan and recieves weaponry mainly from the United States.
