The Small World I Wanted to Protect
Obtainability: Limited to “Pax Romana’s Sweetheart” event shop. This is event bonus memoria and should be kept in case of a rerun.
MLB Effect: Attack Up [15%] & Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%]
Effect Definitions:
Attack Up increases the equipped character’s base stats, meaning that its effects are calculated before buffs/debuffs are considered. The effect caps at 100%.
Accele MP Gain Up will increase the amount of MP gained by using Accele discs.
TLDR: A common memoria to buy from event shops, but luckily it’s a good combination of effects. This memoria will be useful in magia teams, provided you plan on using Accele discs.
Review: Accele MP Gain Up and Attack Up are a good combination. Attack Up can be used whenever-- you almost always want to have it, as it’s the best offensive buff in the game. The only times you don’t want to have it are when you’re overcapping on it, but you probably don’t need to worry about that if you’re considering using a memoria like this. Accele MP Gain Up will help increase your MP when using Accele discs, allowing you to reach Magia/Doppel faster, and when you do, that Attack Up will help make the Magia/Doppel hit harder. A fairly useful combo!
This is a nice freebie memo that gives both Attack Up and Accele MP Gain Up, but there are several memoria in the game like it now, and I’m not just talking in general. Here’s a short list of just three-star memoria that strike similarities:
(Limited 3*) “The Small World I Wanted to Protect” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Attack Up [15%]
(Limited 3*) “Currently on a Hostile Inspection” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Attack Up [15%]
(Limited 3*) “Never Allow Will to Be Erased” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Attack Up [15%]
(Limited 3*) “Something to Remember” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Attack Up [15%]
(Limited 3*) “Prided Haregi” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Magia Damage Up [10%]
Most of these (”Hostile Inspection,” “Never Allow Will to be Erased, “and “Something to Remember”) are event shop memoria. Meanwhile, “Prided Haregi,” is only available in the limited gacha.
Of course, there are four-star examples of Accele MP Gain Up + an Offensive Effect too. Here’s another compilation:
(Limited 4*) “Waiting for the Moment” Accele MP Gain Up [20%] & Damage Increase [20%]
(Limited 4*) “Rakshasi of Salvation” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Forest Attribute Attack Up [15%]
(Limited 4*) “The Rena I Hate” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & MP Gain Up [10%] &  Attack Up [20%]
(Limited 4*) “An Odd Coincidence” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Magia Damage Up [15%]
(Limited 4*) “Goodbye Fable” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Magia Damage Up [15%]
(4*) “A Moment of Peace” Accele MP Gain Up [17.5%] & Status Ailment Resistance Down (Self) [10%] & Magia Damage Up [30%]
Notably, all of these four-star memoria (except for the first one) will offer the same amount of Accele MP Gain Up as “The Small World” does. The biggest differences are the secondary effect and how much passive ATK stats they give. That means equipping “The Small World” can give you the same mp gain with a loss in offensive potential. However, it’s also worth pointing out that if one of the above memoria isn’t max-awakened then “The Small World” might actually be better for you overall in comparison, as it comes max-awakened and max-leveled for free!
Overall a good event shop memoria. This should be useful wherever you need a magia team-- just remember that the Accele MP Gain Up only applies to Accele discs and not to overall MP gained. That means this is best used on characters who plan on using Accele Discs.

Ice Wine | Zayne/Reader
Tumblr media
About: A slight misstep and slip of hand when playfully shoving Zayne caused you to fall onto his lap, with you straddling him.
Pairing: Zayne/Reader
Notes: A partial rewrite and continuation of Zayne: Drunken Intimacy. I liked the memoria event from this card but when compared to Xavier and Rafayel's... Yeah...
AO3: Read here!
Warnings: Dubious consent (reader is drunk), light bondage, hints of dominant Zayne, hints of brat/brat taming. Age 18+ please! Enjoy :)
Tumblr media
“I… Whatever. I’m going to sleep.”
You mumbled, pointedly ignoring the warmth lingering on your cheek. At this point, you don’t know whether you were flushed because of the alcohol in your system, or because of the position you were in.
While inspecting Zayne’s chin for bruises, a slip of your feet made you tumble forward, causing you to straddle him while you looked at him for possible injuries due to your headbutt earlier.
The suggestive position you were in hadn’t registered until he kissed you, his face mere inches away from yours afterwards. It didn’t help when you tugged at his loose tie again to tease him, only to be met by his hands gripping at your waist, pulling you closer to him.
Unlike most of the time when his skin was cold, almost icy, to the touch, you could feel heat radiating off him, warming you even further.
“I thought you had good reflexes.” He remarked, his eyes not once leaving your face. You met his gaze head on, determined not to shrink away from his intense focus on you. “For a hunter to be caught so easily… It seems you’ve gotten careless, no?”
“...Do I need to be alert when with you?”
He froze at your reply, his grip on your waist loosened momentarily before tightening again. “How sly.” He smiled as he leaned into you, closing the gap that was present. “One would think you are tempting fate.”
“Yes, how sly.” You mumbled, unperturbed by the sudden closeness. “You haven’t drank a single drop of wine, and yet you act as if you are drunk. You’re not making any sense here.”
“With you in front of me like this… How am I supposed to make sense of anything?”
You furrowed your eyebrows, a question ready on your tongue but then something within you clicked, a sudden realization shocked you out of your drunken stupor.
The heat.
Zayne never was warm to the touch, unless he was sick. But he was neither that nor a drinker, so that left only one possible explanation.
You quickly glanced down, and you were appalled to find the neckline of your dress was pulled down further and the strap of your dress falling to the side, giving Zayne an eyeful of your cleavage. It didn’t help that because of the dress, you opted to use pasties instead, leaving your breasts barely covered.
Combined with you straddling his lap, and your face flushed from the alcohol, the sight made it seem as though you two were–
No longer hiding his true intentions, Zayne slid one of his hands down your hip and under your dress, caressing your thigh. “Am I still not making any sense to you?” He asked, his voice barely above a whisper. Seeing you shiver at his touch yet not pulling away from him, he continued. “You wouldn’t object if I kept you close, would you?”
Instead of replying however, you hooked a finger onto his loose tie, and–
“Mmph–”
It was as though a switch had been flipped the moment his lips met yours. Gone were those gentle touches and careful caresses of your skin, his need to be with you– be in you consuming every single rational thought he had.
While you had the element of surprise, shocking him when you sealed his lips with yours, he quickly wrestled back control, taking the lead of the kiss by tilting his head slightly for better access and pushing his tongue against yours. The roughness of him pulling your hips closer to him, to have you straddle his crotch and feel his clothed cock nudging against your inner thigh, made it seem like he was as drunk as you were, having lost control of his tightly held restraint.
No, he was as drunk as you were. But instead of being drunk on those fruit wines you brought home, he was intoxicated by something– someone– else.
You.
“Zayne–” You gasped between kisses, your face no longer flushed due to the alcohol, but because of the intensity of his kisses, not giving you much respite between them. It didn’t help that his hands were roaming all over you, the warmth from his touch seeping into you, banishing all hints of drowsiness away.
You fumbled with his tie and cursed at the many buttons his shirt had while he tugged down the straps of your dress, peeling away the annoying pasties that were in the way and cupped your breast, thumbing over your pert nipple.
“A lot of people asked about you tonight.” Zayne remarked as he kissed your neck, his breath tickling your skin. “They asked if you were single.”
“What did you tell them?” You asked moments later, too distracted by the hand that was under your dress. He had dipped his fingertips under the waistband of your panties, toying with it and teasing you for what’s to come.
“No.” His denial, while quiet, was firm, commanding almost. “You are not. In fact–”
Zayne adjusted the position you were in, keeping you close and– oh.
“You are taken.” He stated, emphasized by the bulge pressed against your clothed heat. You could feel the outline of his cock next to you, its hardness causing warmth to pool within you. Against better judgment, in which you should undress him and yourself before attempting anything, lest you ruin the outfits, you wiggled your hips and responded in kind.
And before you could react, he slid a hand under your hips and lifted you up, and pinned you down to the sofa, forcing you into the same position as earlier when you had tugged on his tie.
Unlike earlier when you were in control and him pulling away at the end however, he was hovering above you, one of his hands right beside your head while the other was still on your hips, his body right between your thighs.
Your heat clenched in anticipation, waiting for him to pull you closer and onto his clothed cock. But instead of that he paused to look at you, his half lidded eyes roaming all over your form.
You took the chance to take a good look at him as well, to see if he was just as affected by this non alcohol induced heat. His tie was long gone and his shirt was half buttoned, revealing his broad chest. While his pants remained the same, you could see the outline of his cock straining against the front of his pants, making you wonder how it would feel against, and inside you.
Zayne felt his cock throb at the sight, and he couldn’t help but bunch your dress up further to your abdomen, exposing more of you to him.
“The dress…” You mentioned, suddenly made aware of it. He had paid for both of your outfits before you could’ve and you’d hate to ruin his gift. But he silenced you by lowering himself down to your lips and sealed it with his, distracting you.
You were so caught up in him that you barely noticed him pressing closer to you, his hand that was on your hip no longer there. It was only when you heard the unbuckling of his belt and the telltale unzipping that you remember about the dress.
“The dress will be ruined if I don’t take it off.” You breathed out after you broke away from the kiss, your eyes darting down to where his cock would be. And sure enough, it was right on top of your heat, its tip glistening with precome. Zayne tilted your chin upward before you could stare at it further however, forcing you to meet his heated gaze head on.
“Don’t worry about it. I want it on you.”
“Have you been imagining fucking me while in this dress, Zayne?” You teased, and when he responded with a small smile only, you laughed. “Who knew ‘Zayne the Terrifying’ had such dirty thoughts?”
“I may be a terrifying man, but I am still a man in the end.” He replied as he pushed your panties to the side, and dragged a finger up against your entrance. “Especially when it comes to you.”
With that, he captured your lips once more, slotting himself between your slick folds, and thrusted slowly against you. His hands were on your hips, sliding your wet heat up and down the side of his stiff cock as he fucked your folds.
It was difficult to concentrate, every single coherent thought disappearing like mist with every thrust against you. You had half a mind to unbutton his shirt further, to slip your hands under them and drive him mad with want like he did to you, but that required focus, which you had none of. Especially when his cock grazed over your clit, forcing whatever drive you had out of you.
The ache to have something, anything, within you grew every time his tip caught onto your entrance. You waited  with bated breath for the inevitable push of his hardened cock into your waiting heat, only to have him thrust upward again, leaving you wanting.
You reached down to take matters into your own hands. But before you could do so, Zayne caught your wrist and pinned both of your hands above your head.
“Zayne–” You whined in protest when he reluctantly pulled away from you. But instead of teasing you as expected, his attention was elsewhere, his free hand grasping onto something on the side while he kept you pinned down with one hand.
You tried to see what he was looking for, but couldn’t as his attention returned to you once more, his half lidded gaze freezing you in place. He merely smiled at your confusion, and you were about to question him when you felt it.
He was binding your wrists with something… soft. Was that silk– oh.
His tie.
Zayne leaned down to nip your earlobe, the corners of his lips twitching upward when you wriggled against your restraint. “Behave and let me.” He whispered, his soft demand contrasting your whimpers. “Impatience will get you nowhere.”
“And if I don’t?”
“In that case…” He trailed off, pulling away from you and sat up. His cock was no longer between your folds, and was instead replaced by his finger, prodding and teasing your heat. He traced the edges of your entrance, coating his finger with slick, before pushing it in.
Before you could question him on how this was going to force you to behave, he curled his finger and prodded at your soft spot, touching it every time he pumped his finger in and out of your heat.
Just when you were accustomed to his touch, he pulled his finger out of you entirely. A thin strand of slick connected your heat and his finger, snapping when he brought it up to his lips, staring directly into you whilst he licked his finger clean.
“Now…” Zayne said, positioning himself between your thighs once more. He had wanted to please you and push you towards that high you wanted at least once before burying his fingers, then his stiff cock, inside you, but your impatience– and his as well if he were to be honest– forced his hand. “Will you behave and let me prepare you?”
“Or do you want me to make you beg?”

About narratives: the story of Sarcean, Anharion and the Collar.
Ok soooooo I finished Dark Heir and I have THOUGHTS.
This could be my delusional mind speaking BUT I firmly believe that the whole thing about the Collar and the relationship between Sarcy and Anharion depicted in the story written and established by the winners (the Lady's faction) and Gauthier is far from the truth and a lot more complex and fascinating.
More ramblings under the cut!
Putting all the hints given in DH aside for the moment (I will discuss them later) for me the biggest red flag about these narratives is the way Anharion is depicted in both.
This is a little twisted but it’s something I’ve been thinking about since DR, so let me elaborate.
In DR, the Stewards DON’T know about the Collar. James himself admits that he found out about it from Sinclair, and so the Stewards are convinced that James/Anharion had willingly betrayed the Lady’s side, becoming willingly Sarcean’s lieutenant and his lover.
Tumblr media
Gauthier instead reveals a more twisted version of the story.
Tumblr media
It’s clear that the two narratives are in contradiction with each other: the one told by the Lady’s faction and echoed throughout the centuries among the Stewards doesn’t include the knowledge of the Collar, and it entirely blames Anharion for his deeds and his betrayal; Gauthier’s version instead, serving for the readers as an introduction to the existence of the Collar, specifies that Anharion didn’t have any agency.
So, which version is the true one? Neither of them, because both, as it often happens in history, took the truth, and twisted it to serve its own purpose.
Let’s start with the narrative ‘written’ by the Lady.
My biggest doubt about it is why the f*ck it seems that A LOT of people outside the Hall know about the Collar. Gauthier knows about it because his ancestor was the one who stole it, but Sinclair? Let’s hypothesize that he knew about it from Kettering. Kettering knows about it because he is a Returner, so someone who was THERE, in the Old World. It’s not a stretch then to theorize that the existence of the Collar and its power was somehow known in the past.
And in DH, the presence of the chain attached to the throne in the Sun Court, where EVERYONE could see it, hypothetically ( and I underline this because I don’t trust ANYTHING of what we saw in the Undahar for it was the Sun King’s court before Sarcean’s) linked to the Collar around Anharion’s neck, makes me think that the Collar and its power weren’t such a well-kept secret.
So, the whole “the Lady’s side didn’t absolutely know about the Collar” narrative is a bit sketchy at this point. I believe someone knew at some point, so why would they iterate this version of the story, instead of depicting Anharion as a victim and blaming Sarcean for it?
Well, the answer is simple: damnatio memoriae. The version of the story known at this point had been written by the Lady’s faction, so of course her enemies are painted in the worst light possible. Anharion’s memory is, in my opinion, even more tainted by this narrative than Sarcean’s one; we don’t even know his true name. It didn’t matter that he could have had reasons for his actions: he went against the "good side" and chose the dark, the end.
This narrative is not interested in reporting the truth. Its purpose is to celebrate the Lady as a Saint figure and vilify her opponents, disregarding their reasons, their feelings, their insight of the events entirely.
So, it’s not so difficult to believe that underneath all the twists and the lies, in this version of the story there is a grain of truth; that, in a way, Anharion did betray willingly the Lady. Maybe he understood that the so righteous Lady was, in fact, not that pure and good. Maybe, at the culmination of the fight, he somehow hesitated to kill Sarcean, because he was a human being, not just a cold hearted betrayer. All factors that would of course be excluded from this narrative, for they would expose the Lady’s true face.
At this point this is all but speculations, but one thing is certain, and this takes us to the second point: it’s canon that Anharion had feelings for Sarcy. Before the Collar.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would not call it ‘undying love’ at this point of the story, but the affection is there. Palpable, visible, corporeal in glances and words. This is, like, a HUGE revelation.
Because this proves that the narrative told by Gauthier is not the truth either!
While I believe that the Collar has some kind of power (I’ll explain this too), in the Gauthier’s version of the story, it’s clear that the emphasis on the submitting part of this power comes from the desire to possess Anharion, from the (false) conviction passed on for generations that whoever put it around his neck would master him. I suspect it consumed not only Gauthier himself, but also every member of his family who owned the Collar before him.
Tumblr media
In the end both narratives, pushing for their own agenda, give an insight on the relationship between Sarcean and Anharion not only false but also humiliating for Anharion, for he is depicted as a selfish, cold hearted betrayer where his own agency is totally dismissed (and not even mentioned) in one, and a plaything slave of the Collar in the other.
The truth is far more complex than this, of course, and the one million dollar question about it is then: how much influence did have the Collar on the true nature of their relationship?
In these days I have read a lot of theories about this. One of my favourites is the one depicting the Collar as a mere object of fashion without any power and Anharion not only conscious but also willing the whole time and the fact that this may be hinted in the text makes me feel unhinged (if this is true, you will hear me screaming about it for years)
In my opinion, and I will believe this until I read the third book, the Collar has some kind of power on James/Anharion but not in the way it has been described so far. This is but a mere speculation for the moment, but maybe this power leans more on binding Anharion’s magic to Sarcean’s than controlling his free will or feelings. (this bit in DH is soooo interesting!!!)
Tumblr media
I’m convinced that the Collar cannot create something that is not there and that underneath its power, it’s clear that Anharion had conflicted feelings for Sarcean, he always had, because James REMEMBERS feeling this even with the Collar:
Tumblr media
This means those conflicted feelings are still there and are not magically morphed by the Collar into pure and simple obedience and that whatever Anharion felt was real, whatever James feels is real, contradictions and all.
We still know so little about this two at this point, and since Pacat really loves plot twists, I believe that their real story will come out in the end and that Will and James will achieve what their past selves couldn’t had, unravelling the conflicts and the misunderstandings between them, and conquering the freedom they search in each other’s arms to be just Will and James.
I had fun writing this, please feel free to give me your opinion on this!
(PS. I think I needed to specify that this whole rambling is focused on Anharion’s feelings. What about Sarcy? I believe his feelings were a deadly cocktail of desire, affection, possessiveness, admiration and horny thoughts, like the disaster babygirl he was, thanks for your attention)

Some Spoiler Thoughts on SusASS Sunday & Penacony Former Prison Colony
Tumblr media
High key yandere vibes after update at the end with Sunday….
Imagine Sunday keeps his darling lover trapped in dreamscape
damn not even death can keep you from this yandere
He’ll keep your memory alive and with him in the dreamscape.
Possible emotionally manipulate you to love him thin he you are his lover because what are you but your memories?
Added creepy factor that clockwork can manipulate emotions ….so imagine angry with him one moment from trapping you to change it happy worry about any need in dreamscape with him…
Sunday thots
very cult likes lines like a priest prophesizing doom .
I hear his radio preacher like voice over the radio in penacony it gives me cultlike chills.
honestly, he scares me more any other villians
true villain boss cocolia vibes more than playable character though they be missing out on marketing then
Spoiler comments on Update Sunday
How can Sunday keep his cool with his sister gone?
It almost sound like he planned that she would be as some sacrifice necessary for the dream or watchmaker….
For being such a control freak as referenced in description he does not seem in control of the situation unless puppet master behind strings….? Damn cold if that the case thought he and sis was close.
Kind of hiping all the detahw ere just dream…
IPC &Penacony
Penacony also comes from Penal Colony
Of the IPC maybe some sort of debt with the IPC with aventurine intervention
Plus ipc has heavy sway on penacony as seen in side quests.
Spoiler: the side quests show how sus and poweful the family is such as keeping people alive in dreamworld via Memoria…. So possible for Sunday to do to a darling
Spoiler: Such as the IPC having dealing with Penacony enough to make the bloodhounda imprison a guy in quest vias his memories in dreamscape who feels like the equivalent to Oppeinhiemer in that he weapon of mass destruction in order steal his bomb formula
On a dark note… Cultlike penecony vibes…warning death real life event
Drink the Soulglad does it remind anyone  of drink the kool aid anyone?
Kinda dark real life events a cult that drank poisned koolaid as directed by their preacher for mass suicide …including feeding their children it …also a saying for the blind leading the blind.
The potential gives high-key yandere creepy vibes

Y no morir trágicamente.
[English] [Google translator]
"Luigi: Just imagine, a fairytale-style wedding with a beautiful view of the sea.
Bowser noting in a notebook:... Will she like that?
Luigi feigning confidence: Oh please, all humans dream of this. As I was saying and here there should be more chairs!
Kamek who was forgotten: This is a bad idea."
It took me too long to make this illustration. Is it part of an AU? I'm not sure what to call it.
«Luigi upon arriving in the Darklands had a bad landing, a blow to the head causes a temporary memory loss. Unable to remember the last events, he jumps to the conclusion that he died in his world (lol) and has now been reincarnated in a fantasy world (just like in his novels). It is his duty to become the protagonist to save this world... And not die tragically.
To achieve his goal he needs to make the evil King Koopa fall in love and it will not be an easy task.»
I am still writing the story, it is not sure that I will publish it. If you're going to use this idea, just remember, tag me I'd like to see it. ( ◜‿◝ )

Memo Paradox Help
Hey, don’t forget to use memoria with the effect “Damage Up Versus Witches!”
(Link to the Fanwiki with memoria examples)
There are four in particular in the game. One of them is a limited, and the other three are welfare/event rewards (although one of them was hard to get).
Tumblr media
Damage Up Versus Witches [30%] & Status Ailment Resistance Up [25%]
This is the weakest one of the four available, but imo it’s great if you don’t have a lot of good memoria to use. 30% damage up is nothing to scoff at, however keep in mind that it has very low atk stats.
The Status Ailment Resistance however can make this more useful if you want damage but also want a bit of protection.
Tumblr media
Damage Up Versus Witches [30%] & Regenerate HP [4%]
This one came from logging in during some free anime pulls. That’s 30% Damage Up with a pretty delicious ATK stat! Excellent to use! The HP Regen is... small enough that it’s not *great* but hey, it can be helpfulish.
Tumblr media
Attack Up [15%] & Damage Up Versus Witches [20%] & Regenerate HP [3%]
Pretty good if you have it, good atk stats and powerful overall. However you got this one only if you defeated the very first paradox event, so some folks might not have it.
Tumblr media
Damage Up Versus Witches [25%] & Attack Up [25%]
EXTREMELY POWERFUL. Christ this thing was made to slaugter in paradox. It has some of the highest ATK in the game and those two effects produce a really high double-whammy in offense.
HOWEVER it was a limited! I think it’s still worth using even if you don’t get to mlb it, but not everyone will have this one when compared to the first two memoria.

Mother's Shadow Shines at Summer's Start
Obtainability: Limited to completing “The Family Heir of Yamataikoku” event.
Single Effect: Guardian [20%] & Attack Up When At Critical Health [25%] & Defense Up When At Critical Health [40%]
Effect Definitions:
Guardian will cause the equipped character to take an attack in place of an Ally, meaning that the character will physically move to block said attack. The equipped character and the protected Ally will both gain MP from being attacked. Has no effect if both the user and the ally are hit by the same Blast disc.
Attack Up While at Critical Health will give the equipped unit additional Attack Up once that character is at critical health (when the character is under 20% health). This effect stacks separately from regular Attack Up.
Defense Up at Critical Health will provide even more defense when a unit is at or under 20% of their health.
TLDR: This memoria is a slightly offensive tank memoria but it’s held back by its lack of defensives. It’s not actually useful for Critical Health fight-type units either, despite what one might think. You should still keep it in the Memoria Vault Jail on the offchance it becomes useful for a gimmicky fight in the future.
Review: “Mother's Shadow Shines at Summer's Start” is a slightly offensive version of a passive Guardian memoria. Note that it doesn’t offer much defensive capability unless the equipped unit reaches critical health, but also keep in mind that the unit needs to survive to reach critical health for that defensive buff to be of use.
Overall, the following Guardian memoria that provide defensive effects may be more beneficial to you overall:
(Limited 4*) “Transparent Feelings Reflected in the Mirror” Guardian [30%] & Damage Cut [15%] & Defense Up [30%]
(4*) “Mother's Shadow Shines at Summer's Start” Guardian [20%] & Attack Up When At Critical Health [25%] & Defense Up When At Critical Health [40%]
(Limited 4*) “The Decisive Battle of the Clear Stream” Guardian [20%] & Damage Cut [15%]
(4*) “The Sunlight That Shines Into the Complex” Guardian [20%] & Defense Up [30%]
(Limited 4*) “Natsu and Suzuka: Painful Break” Guardian [20%] & Damage Cut [15%]
(Limited 4*) “The Stories (Rumors) Also Know” Guardian [20%] & Regenerate HP [3%]
However, given that a number of these are event limiteds, it’s possible that the average player may not have them, in which case “Mother's Shadow Shines at Summer's Start” is useful at the very least for providing an easy source of passive Guardian. Additionally, Guardian as an effect will stack, so equipping two passive sources of it will increase the chances of your equipped unit protecting the rest of your team.
While the Defense Up provided at Critical Health is a hefty 40%, you should keep in mind that it’s also possible for this memoria to kill the equipped unit if their health is low enough. If the unit reaches a dangerously low HP, you won’t be able to stop them from activating Guardian. This might still be worth equipping though if you’re trying to protect more fragile members of your team.
The last thing to discuss would be separate from the Guardian effect, and to focus solely on its Attack Up at Critical Health effect. Several characters in the game, such as Darkness Kanagi or Yuna Kureha, gain increased damage when at critical health thanks to their Spirit Enhancement; this is in addition to their spirit enhancement actives that let them reach critical health easily.
However, this isn’t actually a good idea. Both characters come with quite a bit of already high Attack Up at Critical Health baked into their Spirit Enhancements and respective personal memoria. Let’s look at Yuna Kureha for an example here:
Tumblr media
Her Spirit Enhancement Active gives her a hefty 60% Attack Up at Critical Health when used-- combine this with her personal memoria which gives her “Attack Up When At Critical Health [40%]” and you’ve already hit the cap at 100%. “Mother's Shadow Shines at Summer's Start” isn’t overkill, it’s unnecessary and won’t actually contribute anything!
Note that Attack Up and Attack Up at Critical Health will count separately, so if you really want to increase your Critical HP fighters, you’re better off using regular Attack Up memoria instead (or Damage Increase/Damage Up).
The overall verdict? This lil memo is best used as a Guardian backup. It has some neat possibilities but ultimately its lack of defensives kneecap it a bit when it comes to being useful for tanks, and it’s unnecessary for Critical Health fighters. You should keep it though as the game goes through changes on occasion and it’s possible it’ll be useful for gimmicky battles in the future.

My Love and Deepspace Valentine Event Memoria Story Ranking:
#1: Xavier's Tender Night Story
For me it's the best among the three. Seriously, I was not expecting THAT from Xavier. From Zayne, yes. But from Xavier? Kissing MC's neck? *Fans self* I swear, this guy is secretly a wolf!
Tumblr media
#2 Zayne's Drunken Intimacy Story
Zayne's Drunken Intimacy is also good. The story is very Zayne-like. MC being drunk, him, watching over her like a dedicated and caring boyfriend and so on. I don't about you guys, but for me, Zayne is a husband material. If these three guys are real and I'll be asked to choose one to marry, I'll definitely marry Zayne (since I'm hopeless and needs someone sane to watch over me).
Tumblr media
#3 Rafayel's Tipsy Invitation Story
Sorry but I have to put Rafayel's story in the last spot. I'm not saying, it's bad. It's just, it lacks that 'oomp'. MC just tied Rafayel with a ribbon, tease him and that's it. It's missing something. Or maybe it's just me expecting something better because I just read his Ebb and Flow Bond Story before reading his Tipsy Invitation Story. Ebb and Flow is like the top 1 story for me and so, I was expecting something on that level when I read Tipsy Invitation.

It’s like poetry something something but also comparing and contrasting Dontos Hollard being saved as a boy and Dontos Hollard being saved as an adult.
Dontos Hollard owes his salvation as a child not just to Ser Barristan Selmy, but specifically Barristan Selmy’s commitment to his own conception of knighthood. It was not simply that Barristan’s ironclad belief in his duty as a knight of the Kingsguard - such that he volunteered to rescue the king - prevented Tywin’s plan of razing Duskendale (perhaps with young Dontos Hollard inside, if he had been there). With the boy Dontos, Ser Barristan demonstrated his belief in an even more fundamental knightly charge than that of his Kingsguard vows - that is, to “defend the young and innocent”, as Lyonel Baratheon commanded of young Raymun Fossoway at the time of the latter’s knighting (a core virtue for Barristan, as evidenced by his later horror at the murders of Rhaegar’s children and the suggestion of killing the Meereenese child hostages). Dontos Hollard the child would presumably have meant nothing to Barristan; indeed, as the nephew of Ser Symon Hollard, who had slain Ser Gwayne Gaunt of the Kingsguard during the Defiance, Dontos might have appeared to Barristan as the heir of that past wrong, and so a fitting outlet for vengeance (just as Barristan had himself slain Symon, thus avenging his sworn brother). Yet Barristan called for Dontos to be spared anyway; Dontos’ identity as an innocent child appears to have mattered to Barristan far more than his so recently traitorous (and for Barristan, personally antagonistic) familial connections.
Of course, Barristan did not go quite so far as to challenge the order of a king now consumed by paranoia and a mania for violence. Rather, Ser Barristan couched his obedience to his chivalric charge in similarly knightly terms - begging young Dontos’ life as a “boon” which a grateful king could grant to this sterling knight who had done him such a service (compare, say, the would-be king Renly’s ceremonial grant of a boon to the melee champion Brienne, or the would-be king Joffrey’s likewise formal offer of a boon to the the knightly Tyrell sons after “[t]he roses [had] support[ed] the lion” at the Blackwater). In this moment completely devoid of chivalric courtesy - the ruthless, near absolute destruction and damnatio memoriae of two noble dynasties in the aftermath of a hostage crisis and siege - Dontos’ one hope rested with the promise of knighthood. Handed back his life as a knight’s boon, Dontos was allowed to journey to King’s Landing to serve as a squire, with the promise of a knighthood of his own one day. If there could never be (certainly not under Aerys II) a return of House Hollard to its pre-Defiance standing, Dontos’ knighthood might at least have restored some sense of personal dynastic honor; Dontos could, so it might have been presumed, live out his life as the sort of deposed but genteel knight Jaime imagines Edmure becoming in AFFC. Knighthood, in other words, both immediate and promised, comes to the rescue for the boy Dontos Hollard.
As an adult, Dontos Hollard finds himself again needing rescue from the murderous whims of a violent, sadistic king - but his salvation comes in a form far different from that he had experienced as a child. Summoned to the lists for Joffrey’s namely tourney - if no grand event, at least ostensibly more peaceful and chivalric than the Defiance of Duskendale - Ser Dontos appears as a foolish, indeed obscene drunk; only his horse maintains any sort aristocratic dignity, its “swirl of crimson and scarlet silks” denoting the barry gules and rose of House Hollard’s sigil, as Dontos himself stumbles half-naked around the yard. The promise of knighthood as his childhood salvation has soured badly: Ser Dontos may have the formal title of knight, but in his utter failure to make even the barest showing at that core knightly sport, the joust (and against a freerider, of the lowest class of knight often scorned by blue-blooded Westerosi chivalry), Dontos has hardly demonstrated himself a knight in practice.
Yet Dontos is saved from the king’s command for his death - not by a knight, but by a facially un-knightly expression of true knighthood. Indeed, there is something of a role reversal here from Duskendale, where Ser Dontos the knight (roughly about the age Barristan once at the time of the Defiance) owes his rescue to a child - not only one roughly about the age Dontos was at the destruction of the Darklyns and Hollards, but one who had herself so recently experienced the cruel extermination of her father and the Stark household, leaving her, like young Dontos, a child of a traitor dynasty (at least in the eyes of the crown) alone in the capital. Yet if Sansa is herself no knight, she nevertheless reveres the mystique of knighthood, understanding the role of a true knight as one who is (so she will think later) “sworn to defend the weak … and fight for the right”. Seeing a man who “was drunk and silly and useless, but … meant no harm” - that is, one of those “weak” whom knights were sworn to protect - Sansa takes the (considerable!) risk of arguing for his life to Joffrey, just as Barristan Selmy had done to Aerys in begging for the life of young Dontos. Just as Dontos had personally meant nothing to Barristan during the Defiance, so Dontos means nothing personally to Sansa here (his involvement in Littlefinger’s scheme to spirit her from the capital not yet begun); Sansa calls for his life simply because it is not right that a weak and innocent man should be murdered at the king’s whim, an expression (albeit unconscious on her part) of that core knightly responsibility.
Naturally, Sansa cannot rely, as Barristan did, on any sense of royal gratitude to save Dontos; where Aerys II could not refuse his so recent rescuer when the latter asked for a boon, Joffrey is as of this tourney regularly abusing Sansa, even threatening here to drown her for merely suggesting Dontos’ life should be spared. Instead, it is Sandor Clegane who provides the justification, corroborating Sansa’s clumsy warning of ill fortune to convince Joffrey against murdering a man on his birthday. Sandor Clegane, perhaps more than any other character in the series, specifically reviles and disdains the formal conception of knighthood - yet here, draped in a white cloak in a bitter parody of Barristan Selmy (as Sandor himself had replaced that virtual epitome of the Kingsguard), Sandor laconically (and, to be sure, indirectly) fulfills that knightly charge of defending the weak. Sansa then seizes on Joffrey’s temporary stay of execution to transform Dontos into a royal fool; where Barristan’s plea for Dontos’ life had set the latter on the path of royal squire and eventually knight, Sansa’s suggestion strips Dontos of any future knightly dignity, but in a way which would (so she might have presumed) save his life long-term (as indeed, a fool’s very position allows him some sense of license, preserving the fool from retaliation by the people he taunts). Once, one of the the most (publicly) admired knights of the Kingsguard (themselves supposed to be “the finest swords in all the realm”) had used his knightly position to save the life of the young Dontos and given him the promise of knighthood for his future; now, a young girl and a man who had vehemently rejected knighthood save the adult Dontos through the elimination of his knightly identity.
