I can't believe this is what I'm using my education for...

Eula and Hu Tao with a reader that get's shy when asking to hold their hand

a/n: I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea how to write for Rosaria. I came up with something, but it would have literally been something like 2 sentences. So I'm really sorry.

I'm just happy that I got to write for my two favourite's again. it's been so long

Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Hu Tao

Hu Tao never had, isn’t currently in the possession of, and never will grow a sense of shame, so while that meant that getting her to be embarrassed by something she did was almost an impossibility, it didn’t need a genius detective to notice that the people she surrounded herself with, with the exception of Zhongli and Xingqiu, although she was sure she’d get to him someday, didn’t exactly fit the same criteria.

So while her heart did skip a beat whenever you asked her anything that made your face turn red, she couldn’t help but use the chance to get a bit of fun out of your nervousness.

You should have known that no good was going to come out of agreeing to Hu Tao’s request to go somewhere together, but your stupid brain couldn’t help but accept when she asked, too excited when she took the word “date” in her mouth.

Unluckily for you however, the funeral parlor’s director’s definition of a date was taking a trip to wuwang hill and hunting for any lost souls.

“I… don’t know if it's such a good idea to go there. It seems pretty dark”, you voiced your concerns upon seeing where she was going to take you, only for Hu Tao to turn around quickly enough for you to nearly get a heart attack when you were suddenly greeted with her face mere inches away from yours, and summoning her weapon before triumphantly showing it off.

“If it’s too dark for you, I can light my weapon. We might start a small wildfire, but it’s not like the ghosts will care too much”, she suggested with her typical smile, making sure to pronounce the word “ghosts” in as unsettling of a voice she could muster.

It didn’t do much, but coupled with the already sinistre energy the hills gave off and the small, transparent children you could swear you saw running around from the corner of your eyes, only for them to vanish once you took a closer look, made the king of all shivers run down your spine.

“...or”, she began talking once again, causing you to look up at her, anticipating her next words, “you could hold my hand if you’re scared.”

It didn’t take you long to shake your head and stutter out a responce as your face turned hot, only for Hu Tao to laugh and turn back around, ready to lead you farther into the forest. Or at least she would have, if the sound of something stepping on a branch behind a nearby bush hadn’t caused you to nearly fall over dead. And while she wouldn’t complain about receiving a new customer, business could wait for a little longer.

“Y- you know what? I- is the offer still available?”, you asked slowly, the shame and nervousness openly displayed in your voice, as you looked to the ground, too scared of what you might see if you looked up at her..

“Sure, if you buy a casket from me? They’re surprisingly affordable… most of them at least”, Hu Tao joked, only to shut up for a second when she realized you were too occupied with fearing for your life to notice her genius joke.

In one quick motion, she grabbed your hand before moving to your side so the two of you stood shoulder to shoulder, before suddenly intertwining her fingers with yours.

“But since it’s you this should suffice.”

And while you spent the rest of the trip too embarrassed and deafened by the internal screaming to feel frightened by the dark hills that made you nervous from just thinking about them not long ago, Hu Tao happily skipped by your side while humming her favorite tunes.

Eula

Eula, being born and raised as an aristocrat, had been taught how to do anything with elegance and dignity, from chuckling, to getting out of what would otherwise become an awkward scene. All of which was to say that something like holding another person’s hand was no problem to her either, having to have done so at many balls and other events in her past. So as long as you remained at least somewhat calm when asking to hold her hand, it should be no problem at all.

…so why was asking this difficult?

With every minute that your date drew nearer to a close, you became less and less talkative, eventually coming to a point where you silently sat and ate your food while remaining completely silent. If it hadn’t been for the hundreds of quick glances you took at her, only to immediately look back down when your eyes crossed, Eula would have simply assumed you were getting tired. It was pretty late after all and as she knew you, you’d probably spent most of last night awake, overthinking what you would do the next day. But now, she couldn’t help but worry about other motives.

Was there something on her face? Eula quickly wiped the corners of her mouth with ner napkin, trying to play it off as casual as possible.

There it was again! You were still glancing at her, somehow seeming even more nervous than before. If it wasn’t any food, what was it? Was there someone behind her you didn’t exactly have fond memories of? Would it be weird to take a look? Or was it her after all that caused you to act this way? Did she say something hurtful before? No wait, did you take her joke too literally? Maybe she should work on her communication skills after all?

“caniholdyourhand?”, the words shot out of your mouth, as you nervously looked around, your cheeks having turned a deep shade of red.

“What?” Eula asked, more in confusion than in anything else. Was this what you were acting all nervous about? A part of her felt relief wash over her, and yet your shyness began rubbing off on her more than she’d like.

“Can I- you know… uhm. Hold your hand?”, you asked once again, a lot slower this time but in turn much more quiet than before.

Before long, Eula reached out her hand for yours before grabbing it. There was no need to act all shy about something like hand holding, afterall, especially for an aristocrat like her. But then again, you had never been too confident about things like this, so she might as well give you a hand and help you out a bit.

Or so she’d like to, if her face wasn’t in the process of matching yours in the color department.

And... if she insists that you two have a dance together, just let her take the lead. She'll probably call you out for vengeance if you reject her, but let's be honest. She just wants to hold you close as you both sway by the shore.

Eula is also a very good chef (one of the few good things that her old aristocratic family taught her) so you are VERY VERY lucky to be enjoy her own personal cooking, especially her ever famous Stormcrest Pie, which is literally leagues better than the rations in her Recon Company alone.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you can ever eat anything else other than her food again. Looks like Eula has captured you through the way of the stomach <3

I do think that she would be rather possessive and protective of you because. You're linked to her. And she doesn't want the townspeople to hurt you just based on the fact you're dating her. Expect her to treat you like you're a very precious treasure to her.

Even though the situation improves thanks to Eula's own efforts in her job, as well as Amber, you, and all her fellow coworkers efforts to change the people's impression of her, she still views you as someone very important to her.

You are one of the first few who stood by her side, and have her seen her beyond her facade after all. Not as Eula Lawrence. Just Eula.

Ever since you two started dating, her work efficiency has risen by 200%. Her Company knows that it's because their superior has someone she loves and wants to get back to you ASAP, since her job requires her to patrol outside Mondstadt City for days, sometimes weeks.

Likes being the small spoon so that she can feel small and protected. Definitely adores being able to hide her face into the crook of your neck.

But also likes being the big spoon and holding you close, like how a child would hug their favourite soft toy. Except that you're her favourite person in the entire world and she definitely doesn't want to let you go.

She really adores cuddling with you. You're so warm and nice and sweet, how could she not?

Making little flower crowns for the both of you when you're both hanging out on dates... watch her face blush as you place one on her head and she says she 'exact vengeance'. Done by making another flower crown and placing it on your head in return

Bringing her home after she drinks a little too much, taking care of her in her hangovers as she probably lets loose a little. Cleaning her up as well and taking care of her too.

Or her enlisting Amber to help her buy groceries while she takes care of you when you are sick because people just look at Amber and go oh adorable child here take all my wares while Eula gets cold treatment (pun intended)

Will pull out all the shots for you when you're unwell. More worried, less snarky Eula appears as well.

She spun herself around, the ice creaking underneath the blades of her skates, and found the world to revolve around her. The sound of the routine she practiced all too well echoed through the empty ice rink; the harmony of an orchestra united; it sang for her.

Standing next to the ice stood you, basking in the beauty of your love. She looked flawless, as if she had commanded the ice, commanded the people on the sidelines to look at her. In the bottom of your heart, you held a burning desire to keep the routine secret, to hide it in the abode of two lovers instead–a secret language spoken by the other.

You hadn’t realized the slow end of the music, and only when Eula skated towards you did you notice how cold it was.

“[ Name ]?”

You gasped at how her breath landed on your cold skin.

“Eula! All done with your routine?”

“Mhm. I needed to make sure this performance would be completed flawlessly. My apologies, for I had not tended to you beforehand.”

Your eyes crinkled, and you instead gave her a grateful smile.

“Don’t worry about me, and don’t worry about your performance. You were perfect, my love.”

For a moment’s glance, you saw the yellow in her eyes glow before you found the pleasant surprise etched onto her face.

“A routine must be perfected; that is what the art of ice deserves.”

She paused.

“However… Thank you, dear.”

You took off your jacket and placed it on Eula’s shoulders, all while leaning up to kiss her cheek.

“[ Name ]... I am used to the ice. You’re freezing; take your jacket.”

In a comically ironic response to her remark, you felt a chill wrap around your shoulders and your teeth began to clatter. When Eula tried to shake the jacket off, you put your hands on her shoulders in refusal.

“[ Name ],” Eula said. Her eyebrows creased, and her voice promised a stern lecture when you got home.

“Oh, shush. Let me take care of you.”

Despite the border separating you and Eula, your arms wrapped around her and you let your head find comfort underneath her chin.

“Plus, I’m always warm around you.”

Her eyebrows relaxed, and the lecture on her lips faded from her tongue. Had you leaned back, you would’ve found her lips to turn upwards. Instead, you felt her arms wrapped around yours and bruised, dry lips kiss the top of your head.

The snow blazed through the winds, leaving its mark on the roofs of warm homes. The wind whistled outside, leaving a warning to all. Yet you didn’t mind, for you were safe in Eula’s arms.

Your wish for Eula’s routine to only be seen in your eyes would remain in the bottom of your heart. However, the way she tightened her hold around your waist, the way you were graced with her kiss, the way every upright spin was to enchant you… it was a mother language for two lovers’; a language that only you could understand how much she loved you.

{ summary } basically their love languages - how they give and receive affection.

{ genre/warnings } pure fluff, slightly angsty undertones in beidou's part. mentions of alcohol (beidou). established relationships for all the women. ningguang's part is sort of short. not proofread cuz we die like kazuha's friend.

{ a/n } i promised to sneak in one last post before school started again, and guess what! i did it! (although it's kinda half-assed). in case you couldn't tell from this post, i am absolutely in love with the idea of ningguang spoiling her s/o rotten (and maybe i'll even write something more detailed for her in the future), but for now, enjoy this!

EULA : words of affirmation / acts of service

She might look tough on the outside, but tell her what she secretly wants to hear, and she'll melt like putty in your hands.

Of course, you'll receive no indication of this unless you really look for the signs (i.e. nervously tugging on the strands of her hair, a slight blush painting her pale cheeks).

Gets defensive if you point it out, but she doesn't mean anything by it. Eula just isn't used to compliments because she's never received much.

In terms of giving, she's more of an 'actions speak louder than words' kind of person.

Since the both of you were part of the Knights of Favonius, expect her to take on a lot of your workload, in the name of 'efficiency'. She doesn't like to see you so weary and exhausted, but won't admit out loud that she cares about your well-being.

If you were being honest, you had partially regretted accepting an expedition so far away from the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. Not only were you still miles away from the site of the expedition itself, but the sun had already dipped below the horizon, and the cold had begun to set in.

The only upside was that you were in the company of Eula, who despite her distaste for small talk, always kept you in good spirits.

At that very moment, she was tending to your campfire, the small flame sputtering.

"Are you cold?" she asked, almost as if she had felt your eyes on her.

Although her back was turned to you, it seemed as though she was aware of the way your arms had unconsciously curled around your body to shield yourself from the freezing temperatures.

You mumbled an affirmation, and Eula got up and walked to your camping kit, returning with a thick quilt. She wrapped it around your shoulders, before returning to the fire. Although the quilt hardly helped with the temperature, it warmed your heart to see her so concerned about you. When the fire had finally sparked to life, she sat next to you, and you wrapped half of the blanket around her shoulders, to return the favor.

"You're so kind, Eula," you crooned, the purpose of your compliment partly to gain a reaction out of her.

And just as you had predicted, she dipped her head behind her hair, and you were sure her cheeks were bright red.

"It's no problem, Y/N."

BEIDOU : physical touch / quality time

While it might be true that you and the ocean are both of Beidou's true loves, there's no need to be worried, because she has enough love to go around!

She travels on the sea quite often, so unfortunately, she doesn't get to spend as much time as she would like with you. In addition to that, her job is quite dangerous, so the thought of losing her crosses your mind more often than you would like.

Beidou knows of your concerns, which is why it's her priority whenever she reunites with you to make sure you know that she's okay. Her favorite way of doing so? Bear hugs.

(The B in Beidou stands for Bear Hugs...)

Whenever she hugs you, she does so with certainty, her arms tightening around you in such a way that you know she'll never let you go.

In terms of receiving, Beidou's love language is quality time. She loves it when you go to the bar for a drink with her, or even a beer at home would suffice. As long as you (and alcohol) are involved, she would be willing to do anything.

The breeze passing through Liyue Harbor carried a faint wisp of saltwater, combined with fresh fish and sweat. You were able to discern this only because you had been idly waiting by for the past thirty minutes to see your girlfriend.

Beidou and the rest of her crew had arrived at Liyue Harbor earlier that day, and from where you were standing, you could see the Crux Fleet offloading the goods they obtained from abroad. What concerned you was that you couldn't spot their captain anywhere. Usually, Beidou would be the first one you laid eyes on, her purple coat shining in the stark sunlight.

You shut your eyes, dread sprouting in your stomach like weeds. Your knew your concerns were pointless; obviously if the rest of the Crux crew was casually finishing their jobs by the harbor, then their captain should be present somewhere. Even if that wasn't the case, someone would have told you if something had happened to Beidou, right? She had to be okay.

A tap on your right shoulder snapped you out of your thoughts, and you spun around to see the captain you had been waiting so long to meet.

"Beidou!" you called out in surprise. She threw her arms around you, peppering kisses on your cheek. You completed her embrace, your unease dissipating as you inhaled the comforting, familiar scent of her hair.

"Are you okay? You were looking a little faint when I saw you," she leaned back, brushing the hair out of your eyes.

"I'm fine, I didn't see you at all, and I was getting worried..."

"I was just helping the crew at the back of the ship with a few of the supplies that had gone bad, I had no idea I would take so long," her gaze fell to her feet, clearly apologetic for what had happened, even if it wasn't her fault.

"It's fine," you said, embracing her once again. "I'm just glad you're okay."

She chuckled, her strong arms squeezing you so tightly you almost couldn't breathe. "How about you say we go for some drinks later, hm? Hopefully I can make it up to you with some booze?"

NINGGUANG : quality time / gift giving

Ningguang is naturally a busy woman, which means that she usually doesn't get to spend as much time with you as she would like. So to compensate, she likes to shower you with gifts!

From luxurious clothing to the most expensive accessories, she likes seeing the way your eyes light up when she hands you a neatly wrapped giftbox.

She knows that gifts can't compensate for time spent with you however, so she will make an effort to clear her schedule when she can. When she does so, expect an outing to some of the most exquisite places in Liyue. Her display of wealth always comes as a shock to you, but she believes that her money would be useless if she doesn't spend it on her beloved.

When all is said and done, she enjoys sharing simple moments with you as well. She let's you take her places sometimes, eager to see where you lead her. Whether it be one of the best restaurants in Liyue or just hanging out with your head in her lap while she does paperwork, as long as she's with you, nothing else matters.

It was no secret that your girlfriend was the richest woman in Liyue, and while the both of you had been together for a while, the power she held never seized to amaze you.

You were once again reminded of that power one night, when she took you out to dinner at a new, highly rated restaurant south of Liyue. You knew Ningguang had an eye for exquisite things, but what lay in front of you simply rendered you speechless.

The floor seemed to be a sort of underwater aquarium, made of a transparent material so that the beautiful koi fish swimming in the crystal clear water were visible. Tables and chairs made of cedarwood were arranged neatly on both sides of the room, and there seemed to be a patio outside, fairy lights strung across the ceiling. It was absolutely mind-blowing, but you couldn't help but feel like your girlfriend was being a bit too frugal.

"Honey, don't you think this is a little extravagant?"

You heard the clicking of Ningguang's heels behind you, before feeling the warmth of her palm as she rested her hand against the small of your back.

"Don't think too much of it, my darling. We haven't spent quality time together in quite a while, so think of this as compensation for the troubles I've caused you," she smiled, taking your hand into hers.

Yandere! Genshin Academy/Normalized Yandere AU

In this AU, yanderes are a normal and accepted part of society. Not only are their toxic attitudes and behaviours permitted but even encouraged. Somehow, over the years, people have even started to wish for a yandere as their partners. By Teyvat society at large, yanderes are seen as somewhat of an ideal partner. They´re fiercely loyal and would do absolutely anything for their darlings, right?

And yet, many darlings sing a different tune when reality suddenly comes crashing down onto them when a yandere actually starts pursuing them. Fantasizing about things such as being kidnapped is simply something entirely different compared to experiencing the real thing. And yet, when they call out for help from their loved ones, they´re simply patted on their back and congratulated. Some might even express their condolences to the poor yandere, saying that it always takes a bit of time for a darling to realize that this is for the best.

You are one of the few people who are completely horrified by the concept of a yandere and even more so to see everyone around you treat kidnappings or murder sprees as something completely normal or even romantic. You shudder at the thought of ever attracting the attention of a yandere, knowing that you would have no one to help you avoid that dreadful fate.

Which is why your complete world is turned upside down when you´ve been registered at the wrong academy by mistake. An administrative error, you were told. One, that might take a few weeks or even months to correct.

Now normally, you would have been annoyed but fine with this. You would just have to bear with it for a bit and attend a different school until the error is fixed and you can finally go to your desired one.

But you felt a pool of dread form deep within you when you did some research on the academy you had been wrongly assigned to. It actually wasn´t all that easy to find information on the academy, which you found strange, seeing as this has never been an issue with any other well-regarded academy. But no matter how much you search, nothing concrete is to be found. Only a few abandoned forum posts where people asked around about their missing friend who had last been seen close to the academy in question.

It made you feel a bit uneasy but you figured that it probably didn´t have anything to do with the academy itself. As sad as it was, disappearances were happening all over Teyvat, so this one case wasn´t really of note.

But seeing as you couldn´t find anything else, you figured that you would just need to figure things out on your first day attending the academy.

And oh, were you in for a nasty surprise.

As soon as you sat down for your first lesson, you noticed how strange the atmosphere was. Everyone had been staring at you so strangely when you entered the room, it kind of unnerved you.

After that, a few introductions were exchanged and you slowly calmed down again. Your classmates seemed nice enough and you thought that maybe, your time here wouldn´t be so bad after all.

All that quickly changed when your professor finally entered the room and introduced himself as the instructor who would teach you the subject of "stalking".

Turning your head left and right, you tried to see if anyone else was as shocked about this as you were but to your surprise, no one even raised an eyebrow at this very concerning introduction.

A class on stalking? Maybe this wasn´t what you actually feared and more so a clumsy way of saying that this would be a psychology class focusing on the mental effects stalking has on the victims? With all these yanderes running around unchecked, there were bound to be many victims and so a class like this might actually be beneficiary. I mean surely they wouldn´t actually try to teach young adults how to kidnap someone, right?

Right?

Well, it turns out you were wrong when the professor started outlining different forms of stalking. Following "your darling" around, stalking them online, placing cameras or microphones in their rooms to observe them anytime you wanted.

Your mind was spiraling as you listened to the lecture and you briefly wondered at just what kind of an academy you had been enlisted in. Surely this must be some kind of joke, right? A prank played on newcomers at the academy to get them spooked? Surely someone is going to come in any moment, clear all of this up and then laugh at you actually falling for this?

But no matter how much you hoped for this to be the case, no one was coming. No one was making fun of you for falling for such an obvious prank. In fact, none of your classmates seemed perturbed at all by what was being taught here. How could they be okay with a lesson that basically amounted to "how to stalk someone 101"? You felt like you were losing your mind.

Glancing to your right, you see your blond deskmate eagerly nodding along to whatever the professor was saying and swiftly taking notes whenever a sentence seemed to particularly strike a chord with him. His red eyes practically sparkled as he outlined "helpful tips and tricks for not alerting your darling of your presence" on his paper, using a text marker to highlight a particular passage as if to say that it would come in handy in the future.

On your left, you saw another tall male student and for a moment you hoped that maybe, just maybe, there was someone else here who was bothered by the lecture given. He had a bored look on his face and he was wearing some type of headphones over his grey hair. Was he even paying attention? Maybe he was trying to cancel out the horrific lecture taking place at the moment.

You discreetly leaned over a bit, only to see that he was actually holding a book hidden under the desk, his eyes carefully following the paragraphs of tiny letters. Well, it seems like he certainly wasn´t paying much attention to the lecture because what he was secretly reading seemed to be some advanced material on the success rate of different methods of stalking, from the looks of it.

You quickly turned your head back when you saw him glancing over at you with an unreadable stare. Well, it looks like your hopes were dashed again after all. This guy was nuts too.

Knowing this, you really couldn´t do much aside from waiting for class to be over.

Your small hope that this was just a really strange outlier was quickly destroyed again in your following classes.

Next was a class on emotional manipulation and how to get your darling to depend on you.

Then, a class on how to force yourself into your darling´s life and how to approach growing closer to them.

Finally, the day ended with a lecture on how to kidnap your darling and make them disappear without a trace.

As the bell finally rung, the professor informed your class that there was also an optional class about how to effectively "get rid" of a rival that you can sign up for. You pretended to not be bothered when several students raised their hands to show their interest in attending this course.

You scrambled to get out of your seat as fast as possible, not wanting to stay in this hellish classroom for even a second later. You fled into the hallway and walk by groups of students excitedly chattering about things you didn´t want to listen to.

"Oh, I hope I can find my darling soon! I just know I´ll feel a special connection when we first make eye contact! I´ve been waiting for so long", the first girl swooned as she twirled strands of her long brown hair around her finger, seemingly lost in her own fantasies.

You didn´t like the way her eyes linger on you as you pass by them.

Once home, you tried to make contact with the administrative office again to ask them if the process of your transfer can be sped up in any way. You didn´t want to spend another second in that academy.

With what you have seen today, you were easily able to deduce the true nature of this academy and it left you absolutely terrified.

The fact that you weren´t able to find any information about the academy beforehand, your strange classmates fixated on their potential "darlings" and of course the horrid classes being taught there.

Somehow, you have ended up in an academy for yanderes. Every single person you saw there today was a lovesick lunatic in some shape or form. And the more you thought about it, the more you realized you were in huge danger there. What would your crazed classmates do if they ever found out that you actually weren´t a fellow yandere but someone they could claim as a "darling"? The very thought of it makes you sick. You have to get out of there immediately!

Which is why your heart dropped when after some long hesitation, the person on the phone finally answered you.

"You must excuse me but I´m afraid to tell you that there have been some... unforeseen circumstances that do not permit me to work on your case at the moment. I have been asked to postpone this matter until further notice".

"What? Why?", is all you could manage to say in your befuddlement. You knew bureaucracy can take a long time but for this woman to specifically be asked to postpone this? Just what was going on here?

Again, the woman on the phone hesitated to answer and you could hear a tinge of nervousness in her voice when she finally spoke up. As if she wasn´t sure if she was allowed to say what she was about to.

"I´m afraid that I´m not at liberty to provide this information. The person asking me to...focus on different cases for the meantime wished to stay anonymous. Even so, it is not within my power to refuse their wishes as they have provided our establishment with a generous donation. I sadly cannot help you with this issue", at least the woman did sound generally apologetic but that didn´t really help you in this situation.

Your mind was still reeling as you processed this information. Someone specifically asked for your transferal to not be worked on? Why would anyone do this? And they seemed to have a large fortune too? Why all this to make you stay around?

It can´t be that you already attracted someone´s attention while at the academy, right? Surely that couldn´t be true! You made sure to not interact with anyone directly after you realized just what kind of people attended this school. How could one of these yanderes have "fallen for you" already?

It seemed so utterly unbelievable and if you were being honest, you didn´t want to believe that it was true either. But nothing else made sense. Why would anyone do this otherwise?

Noticing your prolonged silence, the woman spoke up once more.

"I´m sure that all of this will be resolved soon. It will only be a few months. I am sure you will find many friends at your current school soon."

You sure hoped not. The thought of being noticed by any of the yanderes already made the hairs on your neck rise. You vowed to stay away from anyone who even showed a fleeting interest in you. You had to keep yourself safe until you can finally switch schools. You could do this, you had to!

You barely registered when the woman bid you farewell and hung up the phone after you once again didn´t answer her.

Now completely alone, you forged a plan. If you didn´t want to get involved in anything dangerous, no one could find out that you were actually here by mistake and not a yandere. Nothing could be worse than these lunatics finding out that you´re a darling, so you´ll have to be very careful. But how do you do this?

Well, it seemed like you must act like a yandere yourself. You would have to pretend that you´re a lovesick fool who totally isn´t bothered by all this talk about kidnapping, stalking, and murder. Thinking about it again already made you sick but you didn´t really have any other options. No one could find out or it was over for you.

You only hoped that you could convincingly play the part and that no one was perceptive enough to see right through you. Well, it couldn´t be that hard, right?

Surely no one already had their eye on you. Right?

but if he finds out that you haven’t been caring for them before the isekai fiasco, he will scold you. and then give you a lecture on why and how you should care for them.

if you have like a book on plants/biology/anything plant related, he’ll be thrilled to read such a book from you. he will spend sleepless nights reading it, and you have to remind him to take it easy.

nilou, yun jin, and eula playing just dance.

nilou’s having a great time, ended up getting high scores while eula is flustered but she still maintains her graceful stature when dancing.

eula didn’t want to play at first because she’s suspicious of the game, but she was dragged into playing so she didn’t have any other choice. she ended up liking it but of course she doesn’t admit it. and yun jin is just glad she gets to be a part of it.

as it’s known, he knows every song in existence. but listening to your playlists, he’s surprised he’s never heard of such a tune before. because, you know, he’s not from your world.

but even so, it reels him in wanting more. so he begs you to borrow your phone to listen to your playlists, especially new ones you just made.

when you left your phone somewhere unattended and venti came across it, he looked both sides before snagging your phone off of its place to listen to your playlists in secret. ehe.

aether & lumine being your errand buddies.

if you’re planning to go out to run an errand like buying groceries or something, these two are the first ones to volunteer to help. i know they do everything in teyvat; doing shit for everyone and all that but this is different. when they got isekai’d, they’re reunited! (i’m going to ignore the abyss sibling bullshit okay let me write in peace i want these two to be happy)

so they’re returning the favor by assisting you in anything! even in your house, they still help you with chores and whatnot! which made you worry for them, so you’ve decided to arrange a time where you all could sit and chat. they talked about their journeys to other worlds, and you could listen to them talk for hours.

introducing heizou to true crime documentaries.

ohhhhh boy you know he will binge the SHIT out of them. now that he doesn’t have to deal with missing pets, he has something interesting to indulge himself in.

he ends up figuring out who’s the culprit before the show could even reveal who. which shocks you, if you’re the type to take a long time trying to connect the dots.

if you show him some unsolved cases, you know damn well he’ll look/watch into it. you have a smart detective on your hands, and if he ends up solving them as well, you must be writhing in pride that you and heizou are the only ones who know the truth.

kazuha asking you to go out on a stroll from time to time.

one time when he accompanies you and your errand buddies because he wants to see what your world looks like in addition to lending another hand, he wants to see that again. the wind, the sky, the view, all of that. it’s all unique to him.

so, expect him to ask you if you’d like to go out on a little stroll for a while. it’s an excuse for him to feel what your world would be like, to digest its features and compliment it all in a poetic sense.

most likely points out the colors of the leaves you guys walk by. he’s just blabbering about nature while you’re out here digesting his words and your mind turns into an actual tree from listening.

teaching xiao everything you know about your world.

yes, this seems bland, but listen. xiao is oblivious to how teyvat works in terms of tradition/humans, and now that he’s isekai’d to your world, you have to teach this poor innocent individual.

he needs information in order to adapt to this new world he’s not familiar with, knowing there’s not really a way out.

xiao is listening intently and nodding to everything you say, asking questions at the same time.

this isn’t part of the headcanon, but he’s also cautious when you say you’re going to go out at night especially when aether & lumine are busy with other matters. if that were to happen he will be the one to step in. no danger will befall you when you have a yaksha by your side.

How they would handle a drunk spouse

A/n: this is a draft that i just fixed up to post. I promise jean x reader will not be forgotten

Cw: fluff, alcoholism. No warnings aside from alcohol!

Jean

She knew Kaeya was a bad influence! Its not entirely his fault but she doesn’t have time to care about your mistake here. You can try to sweet talk her or be all cuddly but shes not holding back on you! You should’ve known better than to get this drunk if you didn’t want to make her worried sick! She goes into overdrive caring for you though. A bucket and water telling you to drink every drop. You aren’t going to bed until she’s sure you feel better because she doesn’t want to wake up to vomit everywhere. Also because you could choke on your own vomit. Its also to help lessen the hangover. Mondstadt is the drinking capital in Teyvat though so there’s definitely more tips she knows just by living there. Despite her being s but mean it does help when you are hungover and less dehydrated than you would’ve been. She made sure to leave you some painkillers and medication for you on the nightstand.

Diluc

“I told you so” kind guy. He’s probably a bit annoyed but that doesn’t mean he isn’t going to help. Although he can’t help but find it a little bit amusing the state you’re in. Just giggling and mumbling words. Its kind of cute. Unlike Jean his anger and annoyance lessens the more cuddly you get. His heart melting at the fact that you still seek him out in this inebriated state of yours. He’ll fix you something to sober you up real quick and hold your hair if you vomit. If you have to take a bath he will be there to make sure you don’t drown. Since he is a bartender he has the best knowledge of how to handle hangovers. Next time however you should be careful

Eula

She probably was drinking with you to be honest. But her liver is far stronger than you thought! Seeing you drunk out of your mind she will stop drinking for the night and take you home instead. A gentle bridal style while she takes caution to not upset your tummy. She gets you plenty of water to help sober you up for bed time. You will just have to go along with her word, she isnt entertaining any arguments or resistance from you now! She changes you out of your clothes, ties up your hair, etc. She makes sure you’re nice and cozy for the night before she takes care of herself.

Dehya

She can’t help but find it amusing watching you stumble about. She asks Lambad for some water but she holds it to you so you won’t drop it. She teases you about being a lightweight. But she isn’t finished drinking yet so just hold on! Once you fall over and pass out though she ditches that plan and instead carries you home. A bit difficult considering she too is tipsy but it helps that she’s strong and not nearly as drunk. Nonetheless she tucks you in and sleeps right next to you, making sure you’re pressed up against her so you can be nice and warm.

Arlecchino

She knew you would be a light weight. Just one shot of firewater and you’re out like a light, your head on her thigh as she was reading something. You seem too peaceful to move so she simply lets you stay there. Her hand rummaging through your hair every so often. Occasionally she glances to see your face and smiles. You’re cute like this. Next time she’ll make sure to dilute the firewater properly so she an enjoy your drunken state a little more.

Shenhe

She’s not sure what to do with you actually. Worried that you’ve hit your head she brings you to Bubu pharmacy, to which Baizhu has to explain the difference between a head injury and alcohol. But he sends her off with a few pain meds for you in the morning. She heeds his instructions well. Helping you settle in for a nice rest to sleep it off. She might have gone overboard though because she overdoes it with the blankets and water. But its still appreciated when you wake up with the worst hangover.

Beidou

You crash together. You fall asleep first, in her arms as she eventually falls asleep too , holding you close to her. Both drunk out of your minds you two end up asleep using a tarp as a blanket on the deck of the crux. The crew still mulling and celebrating their most recent success. The crew ends up having to lift you two back to your beds together because even unconscious would Beidou not let go of you. When you wake up she’s far better off than you as she teases you endlessly. Needless to say you two will be chugging water from here on out. At least until the next celebration. Lucky for you she keeps a stash of painkillers for her crew for this specific occasion.

Navia

A relentless teaser! How horrible! She ends up giggling watching you stumble and stutter. She can’t help it! You’re such a silly bean! Once you get sleepy is when she brings you home to rest. With her guards doing the heavy lifting of course. But she’ll do the bathing or changing herself with them casted out of the room. Afterwards she prepares herself for bed, snuggling against you.

In the morning she’ll make her guards get you painkillers and water.

Xiangling

she tastes like slime in a weird way, either its some cookies she made or something else, you don´t know, but you know its sweet coming from her mouth. when will she stop cooking with slime, never.

Amber

she tastes like a badly made moon pie, she just tried to make one but it didn´t turn out great, you say its fine but she doesn´t belive you. i guess she just needs more practice.

Yun Jin

she tastes like a certain stew, you don´t know exactly what kind, but its definitely not something she can eat normally. as long as she's having a good time, its fine, even if you both get scolded later.

Mona

she tastes like a salad, its refreshing and sweet, you don´t know where the sweetness came in but you think its from her lips against yours. she works no-stop, but she´s glad to have you here.

Eula

she tastes like pie, a really sweet one you think, or maybe its her taste not the pie? well you love it either way. she looks strong on fierce on the outside but on the inside, she´s so sweet.

Faruzan

she tastes like she just ate a dish your grandma made, it makes sense since she´s from a long time ago, but still. she´ll have to teach you how to make that dish soon, it was delicious.

"Why would you like Mr. Zhongli? Don't you think I fit perfectly as your boyfriend or even husband?"

I see him sending you a lot of flowers and some cheesy pickup lines.

He never interested in love or falling in love once, every day he busied himself with experiments and theories so when it's come to this topic, he's hopeless. Grow you a flower that matches your eye color and said he doesn't mean to. Don't take it seriously, he just doesn't know what to do, the feeling in his chest is unbearable. He yearns for your attention and your love.

She would pat your head or hold your hand. If she sincerely wants to express her love for you, she will give you a present. Mostly flowers since that's what Amber told her; flowers also can act as the language of love. Ask her what the gift was for, and she will state that it was merely a friendly gift.

I say that Cecilia will be the main flower, a beautiful flower that suits you as they are also hard to get it.

#. DILUC RAGNVINDR : Noctua

Doesn't actually believe that he falls for you. He just can't picture himself in a relationship due to his past. Kaeya would notice this as soon as possible; his brother? falling in love, he teases the red-haired man. Diluc will begin slowly by showing a different side of himself, such as his patience for you, asking how you are, or how protective he is when it comes to you. Deliver a banquet or anything else that reminds him of you to your place in secret.

"I feel like I have a secret admirer" "What makes you think that?" "I got a banquet of flowers again this week" "Ah, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about that"

a/n: Guess who’s back? Back again?

Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Eula

While it was slightly hypocritical of Eula to complain about you blowing things out of proportions for no other reason than to wanting to see how she reacted to it, when she herself had overused her “vengeance-talk” so much that simply mentioning the word would make her image pop up in most people’s heads, the Lawrence still couldn’t help but feel an intense urge to either shut you up or disappear before people realised you were with her whenever you started.

“I simply cannot believe you would do such thing on the birthday of my father’s cousin’s best friend’s birthday, and here I was thinking I actually meant something to you. You’re the worst, Lawrence”, you proclaimed while striking a hurt pose, immediately drawing other people’s attention to you, and by proxy Eula, causing her face to slightly redden as she grabbed you by the arm and pulled you closer to her.

“Could you stop? You’re making others stare”, she half whispered, only to let out an internal sigh when she saw the huge grin on your face.

“I’d also stare if I saw such a beautiful woman on the street”, you joked, Eula’s face heating up even more as she mustered enough strength to glare at you.

“How can you say such things and act this way in public without being embarrassed in the slightest?”, she asked in a mix of anger and embarrassment, only to finally notice the small blush on your own face.

“Oh, trust me, I am. But if a bit of public embarrassment is enough to see your reaction, then that’s a price I’m willing to pay”, you responded honestly, shooting her an even wider smile before carefully removing her hand from your shoulder.

It was in that moment, that Eula realised that there was no reason in bargaining with you, instead letting out a slightly frustrated sigh. “If that’s everything, we can go home. If you insist on continuing, you can do that on your own and return once you feel like it. But be assured that I will have my vengeance for today”, she threatened, knowing full well that there wasn’t that much she could do, but feeling better off attempting to make you warry anyway, only for you to nod with a smile on your face before happily following her back home.

Candace

While you had always heard tales about Candace’s gentleness and kindness when taking care of any wounded and other townsfolk after a sandstorm, unfortunately for you, you were a solid enough fighter to not get wounded by the threats encroaching onto the village, leaving you to only watch and help as Candace took care of the others.

So, when you actually felt one of your opponents cut you ever so slightly, you were quick to use it as a way to experience it for yourself—after you had taken care of the remaining monsters of course.

“Are you alright? Is the wound deep?”, Candace bombarded you with questions the moment she rushed over to you, feeling uncharacteristically stressed out by the possibility of you being hurt. And while you at first planned to at least pretend your wound hurt more than it actually did, you found it impossibly difficult to do so now, quickly opening your mouth to assure her.

“Don’t worry, it’s just a cut… I guess I’m just too used to walk away from a fight completely unharmed”, you tried defusing the situation with a small joke, moving your arm around to demonstrate that the wound wasn’t bad, only for it to backfire when you let out a small gasp upon realising that it did—in fact—hurt.

“No lying. Come, let’s get it treated”, she stated before dragging you to the village’s physician, watching you intently as he wrapped your arm in bandages after treating the cut, only to return to her usual collected self once you two were out of there.

“…Thanks for taking care of me. That turned out to go very different from how I planned”, you silently thanked her, only to realise that you said a bit too much, immediately reopening your mouth to correct yourself.

“No one plans on getting hurt during a fight. Just promise me you’ll be more careful next time”, she was quick to respond with her usual smile, causing you to silently nod as your face heated up in embarrassment and a bit of shame.

What kind of atrocity is this? Are you seeing this [name]? The punctuation's all wrong too! For eternity's sake, not only are these writers amateur but they are also unrealistic and don't realise that there are different types of people out there with different genders, races and sexualities. Xinyan is best girl. Period. Do you see her pretty curls? Yeah. If you're a person of colour and can relate to the struggles of such hair textures then you both can struggle together. Oh little Dainsleif, so pure! He follows you everywhere and holds your hand when crossing the street - it's adorable!! He's so afraid of losing you that the poor guy will hug you at every given opportunity and gives you the softest smiles when you hug him back!!! I'm not sure I have much cheek to squish, but it feels nice. Thank you :) Do you see this man??? I swear, all you guys do is cuddle and walk everywhere hand in hand. Ugh so cute!!! When you both aren't behaving like a couple, Dainsleif just likes to watch over you. Whenever you sleep, he will sit beside your bed to make sure you don't accidentally fall off, he'll put your arm or leg back on the bed so you don't get pins and needles in the morning and tucks you in at night. Also, he is whipped for you and when he's sure you are in a deep sleep, he will brush hair out of your face or put your bonnet/durag back on for you. Childe is another menace that likes to learn about the different kinds of weapons you have in your world, ranging from guns to katanas. The Snowfall

Part 1 ... Part 2 Character(s): Eula x gn! reader Genre: I have no clue actually Warnings: None for now. Word Count: 360 Notes: first entry for @i23kazu 's genshinblr january ebg <3 this will be a series (pat me on the back). Sorry if it's not well written, I have a specific scene in mind and I wasn't all that mentally okay while writing this part. But hopefully from part 2 forward I'll be more enthusiastic !!

You had accepted a commission from Katheryne that involved going to Dragonspine. You were going to refuse at first, but as soon as she said that the payment would be double the usual payment you were already on your way to pack your bags for the trip to and from Dragonspine. It’s as the old timer’s say, mora makes Teyvat go round, and you needed that extra mora so that you could get your wind glider fixed.

It got burnt from a pyro slime that a hilichurl threw after you had jumped off a cliff in a hurry to escape the sudden ambush. You let out a deep sigh at the reminder. You needed to fix your glider for in case things like sneak attacks from the wild happens when you’re out to do your commissions or when reinforcement come in from the enemy’s side. You are only one person out there after all. Usually, your commissions didn’t involve fighting but rather to scout out areas and take out a few hilichurl towers here and there, or to travel around on behalf of other’s.

You shook yourself out of your thoughts, you got lost in thought again. You looked over your supplies that were spread across your bed, making mental notes of what you can use for what in the snow-covered mountains. First you should meet up with the person who posted the commission, find out all the deeds about what exactly they need you to do, and then you can traverse into Dragonspine and get whatever it is that the commissioner wants.

You nod to yourself, happy with your little plan that you came up with. A smile tugs itself onto your lips as you metaphorically pat yourself on the back for being so theoretically prepared. With that, you pack your supplies into your bag. You won’t be leaving immediately as preparation for longer trips takes time and you needed to get the supplies you needed, which took up most of the day in anyway.

You’ll be off to Dragonspine first thing in the morning, you concluded. Doing the rest of your nightly routine before nodding off to sleep.

Genshin Women Take You Shopping

Modern AU - Gender Neutral Reader (No pronouns) - Platonic ft. Ningguang, Beidou, Yae Miko, Kokomi, Keqing, Amber, Eula

"You really don't have to do this Ningguang, I'm fine, I swear," You tried to excuse yourself, but felt it was no use either way.

"Come on Y/n! You deserve something fancy every now and then." Beidou reassured, pushing you through the entrance of an expensive name-brand store by your shoulders.

Today was a monumental occasion, to say the least, or that was certainly how it felt when the girls announced it. Amber, ever attentive to her friend's emotions, had seen the late nights, the endless cups of pure caffeine, and the hair-pulling stress you had been experiencing recently. Once she discussed her concerns for your health with the other ladies, Ningguang had the idea to spoil you with some retail therapy.

So here you were at the largest mall in the area, the bubble tea Kokomi bought you in one hand and a posse of fashionable women acting as your team of personal stylists around you. In front of the group, Miko, Keqing, and Eula stood before the map, planning a route to take you along.

"Well then, shall we?" Miko mused to the group.

"I believe an anticlockwise approach will allow the most efficient trip, starting from the top floor and making our way down." Keqing proposed, evidently taking her job very seriously no matter the task.

"Sounds great. Y/n, are you ready to go?" Kokomi asked, causing the group of women to look at you. You smiled, nodding at their enthusiasm, however subdued or evident the emotion was in each of them.

"Ooo! This top would look amazing on you Y/n!" Amber pressed a light top to your chest. Nodding in the confidence of her own choice.

"Yes, and this jacket would complement it nicely, wouldn't you say?" Eula presented a cropped jacket, the paneled colours matching Amber's choice.

"I believe these would suit the bottoms Keqing found earlier," Kokomi identified, matching an outfit in her head.

The women lead you back to the dressing rooms, where Beidou and Miko sat patiently waiting for your return. They had overtaken an entire stall in the corner for your use, the small wall hooks already flowing with garments of varying styles. The range surprised you as much as the volume did, from casual wear to formal, a rainbow of options laid awaiting your approval.

"Welcome back. I think we've gathered more than enough material to play dress-up" Miko prompts.

"Where are Ningguang and Keqing?" Amber asked, noticing the mentioned women were absent from the party.

"They're off searching for accessories," Beidou informed.

"I'd suggest you don't attempt to predict my movements Captain," Ningguang said as she and Keqing approached the dressing room. "I may just surprise you." The duo shared a smirk, as Keqing approached you, holding a simple, but elegant chain necklace.

"Here, we found this and believed you would take a liking to it," Keqing held out the jewelry, allowing for your scrutiny. You took it carefully from her hands, inspecting the beautiful piece with awe. The women around you gasped as tears began to fall slowly from your eyes, Amber quickest to come hold your arm in comfort.

"What's the matter Y/n?" Kokomi asked softly.

"Is it the necklace? If so, please know I am happy to remove it from your sight immediately-" Ningguang offered.

"No, no the necklace is beautiful," You choked, clasping it with care. Eula approached your front, carefully lifting your head from its bow and locking your gaze in her own.

"Y/n, please know we are here for you, and you alone. Your strife, no matter how small, will dissipate under my wrath, our wrath, should you only give the word," You smiled at Eula's comfortingly Eula-like words.

"It's just, I haven't been treated out like this in a long, long time, if ever," You began, attempting to wipe the tears from your face. "And you're all so kind to me, I still can't believe you're willing to go so far just to make me happy. I'm so lucky to have you all, and I want you to know how much I love you all,"

Without warning, your body was surrounded by the warm arms of a half-a-dozen women, many with tears in their own eyes.

"Shoot Y/n, you even got me crying," Beidou chuckled, wiping a tear from her eye as her other hand squeezed your shoulder, her arm encompassing the group in the wide hug.

"We love you soooo much!" Amber was crying the hardest of the group, squishing her teary face against your unoccupied shoulder, Eula coming up just behind her to support you both in your tears.

"You are always welcome to come to us if you ever need a break, you are entitled to our services, you know," Your remaining tears were swiped quickly away by Miko.

"We're here for you, always," Keqing agreed, hugging your side. Kokomi nodded quietly, focusing more on petting your hair lovingly. Ningguang took your face in her hands, smiling as she pressed a gentle kiss to the crown of your head. The love around you was warm, constant, and comfortable.

You hoped it would never end.
