Story time because I need opinions.😖👉👈

A little while ago I ended up getting waxed by my friend. She finally found some time, and we set it aside to use the thingy we bought in the mystery store. So she came over and it was really fun at first cause we were just hanging out😇

But then it started.

It took forever. It needed to heat up and it was complicated and hot ouch. Then the actual waxing. It was awful and hurt alot; 4 hours of pure agony. (also it was embarassing and omg wow when she was taking charge😖👉👈😖😖😖😳) And to top it all off I was all sticky after she was done with me, and i couldnt wash it off no matter how hard i tried🥺

But after a few days it was amazing. My skin was so smooth and shiny and amazing🤤. And my legss they were so shinyyyy and smooth. I've never felt like that it was a totally new experience. But that was a few weeks ago and now my hair is starting to grow back.😢

I dont wanna wax again because that was awful, so i looked into other options and epilators are a thing i didnt previously know about because this is all new to me👉👈

Should I get an epilator? Was almost gonna get one, based on someone's reccomendation, but didnt click buy on the shopping cart cause im just so nervous😖😖😖👉👈. Is it even worth trying to keep the hair away? It felt so nice when i was smooth but i just dont know :(

Opinions on epilators? Smooth boys? Is it worth it? Advice? Pls help🥺💕

Tmi, but I just used an epilator on my bikini area for the first time (like a shaver, but it plucks your hairs from the root like waxing would) and holy fuck that was not fun. We're taking a break and gonna go at it again tomorrow, fam 😂

Hello internet! My name change order came in a few days ago! I was so excited when it arrived after waiting for what felt like forever. So my name is official now! Now to start the long process of updating everything else.

So I had my first test of an epilator on my arms. After doing my research, it was very clear that it was going to hurt. Oh goodness was that the truth. It felt like thousands of little needles ripping out each follicle of hair one by one. My spouse was with me, holding my hand, and when I was using it closer to my hand, they said they could feel it plucking. My intent is to use it on my face one day. After today, it'll probably be a while before I build up the nerve!

I made sure to exfoliate first, and moisturize after. I also put aloe on my arms after, as they are radiating heat, and look like they have a rash. This is going to be a journey for sure!

This will be a journey, but one that will continue to lead to great things!

So uh, don't scroll down if you don't wanna hear about injuries in that area (This is informative for people using epilators)

So uhhhhh if you are AMAB, don't use the epilator on your balls. Write that down in your handy dandy notebook! I may or may not have done just that and uhhhhh very fucking bad idea. Also wouldn't recommend with ass hair, just because that is a sensitive area too. If you insist on not using a razor, just tweeze. You may still bleed, but it's not as easy to just lose skin. The epilator does that, but a bit too fast.

Your safest bet is probs something designed specifically for that area, but I very much advise against testing the waters in that area with much else than that or a tweezer if you wanna

epilators are like little torture devices to me. so much more painful and difficult than i thought. still takes ages and constantly going over the same spot because the pain makes it hard to resist pausing/pulling away. the charge died and it can't be used plugged in so i resorted to plucking out the rest of my hair individually until my back started hurting so bad from the weird position i was in that i had to stop. my skin is so irritated. i think i need more therapy also

There’s an episode of Rugrats where Angelica, in one of her moments of pure maliciousness, fucks with Chucky before his first haircut by plucking one of his hairs out and asking him how much it will hurt to have them all pulled out. I was little when I saw it and that was funny and also upsetting in an empathetic way to me. I had my first haircut already, so I knew it didn’t hurt. But I was small enough with few enough experiences to my credit to really think about how much getting all your hair pulled out would hurt.

I saw the same episode a couple years later and it was just funny. The idea of pulling out a whole lot of hair had faded from memory. It was still a little sad that Angelica was so needlessly cruel, but I couldn’t really put myself in Chucky’s place. Getting all your hair pulled out at one time wasn’t a real thing that happened.
