Fun fact, the ear of a crocodilian is located right behind the eye and covered by a structure referred to as an "ear flap". Most of the flap remains closed at all times except for the small opening towards the front, which is open and appears as a small black slit when the animal is above water. The photos above show alligators with people highlighting the earflap and showing the underlying structure, the photo below shows a gharial where you can clearly see the anterior opening of the ear.

Word for "ear" in Europe

Notes:

All of the languages are color coded by the roots of the word, which I have done research on. If you are wondering why almost every language is yellow despite many of them sounding different, they all come from the Indo-European "h₂ṓws", meaning "ear".

Tatar (requested), Adyghean and Gaugaz have been added to the map.

Arabic has been split into a few regions due to there being multiple words for "ear" in Arabic, though the borders are not shown. Let me know if I missed any words.

In Spanish (oído/oreja), Portuguese (ouvido/orelha) and Italian (orecchio/orecchia) there are multiple ways of saying "ear", though the main difference is the different gender. If you speak any of these languages, please let me know if any of the words I used do not fit.

If you want to point out a mistake, please do so in a civil, helpful way! I love hearing about languages, and I'd be very happy to have you guys help me out with making the map correct. You don't need to act rude because of an error, I just like if you're helpful.

KNOWN ERRORS:

Man's feels offended for you

If you're trying clothes out in the mirror before you go out, and he sees an outfit he likes, you have his full attention

He's watching you try it out, as simply staring and admiring and if you say you don't look good in it he's like

"You look good, ma."

You didn't even know he was watching, probably just standing in the doorway, lewing against it and smiling while he was watching you

If you deny you look good the best thing he does is walk up to you, hug you from behind and kiss your jaw or shoulder while whispering everything he finds pretty about you and how you look in it

He just finds you so pretty, and the outfit compliments that

He'll buy you clothes he thinks you'll look good in whenever he's out just because, he thinks you look hot

He doesn't care really about you being plus size, think he enjoys it really

He likes a little squish, ya feel me?

He doesn't know why he just does

The feeling of just laying back on your stomach just makes him happy

If you ever feel down about your weight, or it's too much, he doesn't like it

Especially if you feel it's to much for him

One time he asked you to sit on his lap and you said it was too much

Boy was so offended like

"...Get over here."

Let him hug, hold you and kiss you man
