#EVERYONE SAY THANK YOU HIKA

Text
@gogogobarry whispered : "Um, Hika...I think I lost you! Hello? Can you hear me? Can anyone hear me? Where did everyone go...go...go..." Barry's brave front is breaking, his voice echoing bizarrely in this nightmarish realm, nervous tones twisted by the hellish ambiance. The blond walks, floats just ahead of Hikari, yet he seems completely unaware of her presence. Suddenly, he whirls abruptly to stare daggers at his friend with eyes of glazed hazel (as if just noticing her), and the angry, warped voice that hisses from between clenched teeth is not his own. "You. Your fault. Why did you leave me here? Why did you leave me behind?!" Despite his accusatory tone, Barry doesn't move after snarling his queries, as if frozen in place with an unnatural scowl fixed on his lips. Why? Because none of this is real--it's just another one of Hikari's nightmares, courtesy of the Distortion World. And--thank Arceus--it's almost time to wake up.
                      "Um, Hika...I think I lost you!“
❝ C’mon Barry, I’m literally standing right here! ❞ Lost her? Lost his eyes and ears, more like it.
Besides . . . where exactly is “ here ”? And how did they end up “ here ”?
There are so many telltale signs of a world that isn’t quite right --- how both teens move across sheer black nothingness, how this alien space distorts the boy’s tone and pitch into something half-recognizable at best, how the atmosphere feels dreadfully sterile, how insidious vibrations ripple around Hikari’s body with every stride she takes --- yet there are no blaring sirens in her head to jolt her awake. She never realizes she is dreaming, never even pauses to gauge her surroundings.
After all, she’s too busy running, straining to catch up to him. Her legs are getting tired. Barry’s getting anxious --- frightened, even.
                      “Hello? Can you hear me? Can anyone hear me?“
❝ Yes I can hear you, I’m right here!! ❞
Why is he always just a couple arm’s lengths in front of her?
Has he always been this fast? She’s running and she’s pretty sure he is not so why can’t she overtake him?
                      “Where did everyone go...go...go...”
❝ OH FOR ARCEUS’S SAKE, ❞ Hikari snaps with a scream, ❝ BEHIND YOU, IDIOT!!! JUST TURN AROUND!!! TURN --- ❞
And turn he does, as if on command, taking her aback ( surprise quickly morphs into fear great uneasiness, for his face --- that condemning glare --- is not the face she’d grown so fond of after more than a decade of knowing him ).
How odd. He never looked at her like that. Where’s Barry’s brand of zestful joy? Shouldn’t he be happy to see her? Wasn’t he scared just now, frantically calling out ---
                      "You. Your fault.”
. . . . . . What?
❝ . . . What? Barry, what in the hell are you --- ❞
                      “Why did you leave me here? Why did you leave me behind?!"
If he were just about anyone else, Hikari would already be scrambling to defend herself. Hah, she’d probably even send herself into a swiftly-climbing rage in the process ( oh the nerves it must take to attack her out of goddamn nowhere ).
But he is Barry. She knows for a fact that Barry wouldn’t glare such sharp daggers at anyone --- not like this, not without solid justification. Although his accusations are terribly vague and curt, Hikari foolishly reads into them, perceives meanings where there ought to be none, pronounces herself guilty for crimes the real Barry never confronted her about until now.
. . . So whatever she’s done, she did end up leaving her lifelong best friend behind. How dare she.
❝ I . . . . . . I’m sorry, Barry. ❞ If only she’d stopped there and let him go ( who knows why she thought it was a good idea to continue ).
The first apology slips out a feeble whisper, but with each iteration, her voice crescendos until she is borderline shouting at him ( shut your mouth, Hikari! saying it over and over again means nothing, proves nothing, changes nothing so can’t you accept there’s no returning to “ Before ”? ).
❝ I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry I’m sorry please forgive me you know I didn’t mean to --- !!! ❞ Didn’t mean to leave him behind ( not your fault, it is the Heavens’ Will ). Didn’t mean to soar past the clouds and into the stars while he was still earthbound ( millions want and need you up there, embrace it ). Didn’t mean to accept a pedestal that’d prompt a hasty metamorphosis, a kind of withdrawal, closing parts of herself off from even those who’d known her for a lifetime ( that is for the best, you are not just a girl anymore ). On and on and on she rambles and pleads in a woeful attempt to salvage their friendship, but in its futility, all it accomplishes is to humiliate and degrade --- ❝ I’ll make it up to you just tell me how I can make it up I won’t leave you again I promise --- ❞ Poor Barry. He must be tuning her out at this point ( as he should ). Pay no mind to this overly emotional display, lest you succumb to fatal second-hand embarrassment.
Hikari moves her hands to conceal her face, as much of it as physically possible, childishly praying that if she can’t see him he can’t see her. No use. He isn’t moving away, he’s still glaring at her like she had stabbed him in the back and she still feels the full brunt of a hatred that she never ever thought would be crushing her of all people. To her dismay, the first drops of water start trailing down her cheeks. One after the other after the other, they build into a cascade she can’t screw her eyes tight enough to stop ( oh for Arceus’s sake why is there a flood, who turned on the waterworks, where has the dam gone, how were so few words capable of ruining her composure? ).
Don’t look at her, oh please don’t look at her when her dignity has scattered with the ( nonexistent ) winds! Cast those damning eyes elsewhere, they’re burning her alive! ❛ Hold strong! ❜ her mind demands of the rest of her body. ❛ Hold strong! ❜ . . . yet in defiance, her knees choose to give out from beneath her ( she is sent falling falling falling to the cold dead invisible earth ).
Those hateful, hazel eyes follow. Nowhere to run.
Stupid pathetic child, why do you demean yourself by groveling on your knees? Why do you avert that stone-hearted gaze by turning your face to the emptiness below? Why do you grieve so violently that your sobs wrack your body and reduce every sentence you try stringing together into incoherent blubbering? Shame shame shame on you. Get a grip! Stand back up! Look your old friend right in the eyes and bid him a solemn farewell!
Because where you’re headed, there should not be a single person whose support and company are a necessity.
. . .  . . .  . . .
She ultimately accomplishes none of that --- doesn’t even begin to try --- because she stays right where she is, doubled over on the ground, hands muffling her cries, writhing in agony like some accursed disgrace ( a meek, final ❝ I’m sorry ❞, but this one is not so much for Barry as it is for some unseen, unknown audience ).
. . .
All is growing deathly still. If she wasn’t so deep in mourning, she’d realize just how reminiscent it is of an unearthly domain.
. . .
. . . Thank Arceus, it’s almost time to wake up.
She fails to notice how her former BFF’s neither made a peep nor budged a millimeter this entire time. She fails to notice that the scowl he wears is half his own and half that of □ □ □ □ □ ( this nightmare, this place wouldn’t be complete without □ □ □ □ □ , and coming from □ □ □ □ □ , those claims of “ leaving me behind ” are suddenly very true ). She fails to notice when Barry’s figure begins to dissipate into the blackness that engulfs them both, as though he is being steadily consumed, piece by piece, head to toe ---
And when he leaves, so too does Hikari.
. . .  . . .  . . .
Reality is kind in how it welcomes her back.
Her eyes flutter open to the picturesque scene of a winter night, familiar and comforting like home. Gentle snowfall. The sprawling, starry canvas of the Milky Way. Twisting, snow-laden branches overhead that bend under the mounting weight. So beautiful, so quiet, so serene --- but for perhaps the first time in her life, she finds little solace in the Sinnohan winter environment.  Her distress follows her here, lingering even long after the nightmare’s end ( through her body trembling with heart-aching repentance for a betrayal she had only imagined, through her hands reaching up and clawing deep into her hair in a frankly baffling effort to either recompose or punish herself ). A strange sight it must be, the breakdown of the unbreakable. She knows that too. She hates it so much.
Tumblr media
❝ What’s WRONG WITH ME!! WHY WHY WHY WHYWHYWHYWHY --- !!! ❞
There’s the unexpected click and flashing white light of a Pokeball opening by itself, then another, and another, and another --- until her entire team is wide-awake and surrounding her on all sides. She’s barely registered the sheer panic and concern on their faces when she is suddenly enveloped by a Togekiss’s wings, her cries now melting into his chest feathers rather than ringing out across the otherwise silent landscape.
Had to go ruin their nights too, huh? Get a hold of yourself.
There, in the safety and comfort of Bubosca’s hug, the world stops, spacetime freezes, and Hikari, Savior of Sinnoh, is just a girl again.

Since your requests are open, can I request HCs (or scenario if you want) of Benimaru being married to the reader who is part of one of the most traditional and prominent families in their town and she's known as Asakusa's Princess? How many children would you think they would have and would the kids inherit their parents' fire powers? It's up to you on what else to add! To put things simpler, my request is something about domestic fluff ykyk 😌✨ Thank you in advanced!
-same anon 💘
I hope you like this!! Thanks for the request! ☺️
Benimaru x Asakusa’s Princess
As Askusa’s princess
the name that makes you a little embarrassed because you didnt want people to think you were entitled to anything
you thought yourself equal to everyone in town and treated them respectfully
Which is what first attracted Beni to you
He went for a walk one day and saw you in town helping the lady who runs the fruit stand
He watched you interact with the people he protects, and his original impression of you was changed
Before he met you, heard people call you a princess and immediately thought you were an entitled brat.
But ehere you were, a kind beautiful woman who cares for the people like he does.
What?
He couldnt stop thinking about you that night and the next day he went to town around the same time to find you again
and sure enough.
You were there talking to the same woman.
He waited until you were finished talking to approach you oh boy he was hooked then.
You were beautiful, kind, and intelligent.
He hung on your every word when you spoke and you seemed to ask all the right questions and you understood him.
you were right along with him.
He was handsome, strong, and secretly funny?
You had a few drinks with him and Konro one night at the guard house celebration
he was smiley and joking
you didnt stop laughing like all night.
Which ended with him kissing your cheek and telling you how pretty he thought you were.
You were a blushing fool the next day when you guys went on a walk together and he apologized for his behavior.
You surprised him by taking his hand and telling him you weren’t sorry about it.
That was just the beginning.
He knew he loved you a month later when he walks into the kitchen and found you cooking for his comapny.
A small act of service that warmed his heart.
When he walked you home he stopped by the river to tell you that he loved you and of course you reciprocated his feelings.
You loved how confident and dependable he was.
You loved how he protected you and the city.
How he made you feel like somone important and someone who is more than the Asakusa princess.
He saw you as an individual and to him, you were the most important person.
He proposed by the river, where he told you he loved you.
It was sweet and obviously you said yes.
Oh my god the wedding.
Your grandmother planned the whole thing as the head of the family and Benimaru looked amazing.
Of course it was a city affair, everyone was invited and everyone actually came.
Company seven captain and Asakusa’s princess gettinbg married?
Everyone thought the city was blessed by Sol
you and Beni shared a knowing look every time someone said that
I think having his experience with the twins would make him think he could handle two kids as well as his adoptive father being his and Konros master.
You meant to start slow, have one then a few years later have another.
But surprise (jazz hands) twins!!
They ran in your family but maybe skipped a few generations.
Two babies right off the bat.
Oh my god can you imagine this man with two babies one in each arm? I
think theyd have the same effect on him as alcohol.
Smiling at them, always.
Worried. Protective.
God i think hed be the best dad because hed want them to always be happy and taken care of and hed be stern but theyd have him wrapped around his fingers.
All im picturing is little girls and *screams and dies*
i think they’d have so much fun with their babies.
Having grown up with the strict princess you’d have babies who always knew love and fun.
Making sure they weren’t uncomfortable being themselves.
but still knew how to act when you went to your parents house for sunday dinners lol
They were goofy and respectful and beni would do anything for them.
He helps train their powers and they have a perfect mix of you both.
I see maybe one of them having an eye that looks like beni’s X and the other girl has the bullseye with their other eyes being the same color as yours.
So your powers are a lesser version of your fathers which isn’t the best for combat
but your daughters got your fathers power and they got their fathers power
and needless to say they’re powerful AF.
But with Benis training and you guys protecting them you know you won’t have to worry about them.
Anyway.
Marriage and kids with Benimaru as the princess of Asakusa means so much support from the people in your city and powerful babies.
You’re a power family that no one dares to mess with.
Because you’re powerful but also because everyone loves you both?
Benis glad he has people to help him eat all the sweets the nice older ladies give him.
Maybe when your kids are older they’ll join their father at work.
He would train them BUT NOT LIKE HE DID SHINRA AND ARTHUR
he’d never be able to do that to his babies
No matter how tough and hard he is. Those are his little girls!
Imagine Beni flying with two mini-Mes beside him in the air.
And omg the trouble they would get into with Hina and Hika
Ugh I loved this. I loved thinking about this and imagining it. It’s so so cute
Dad Beni ugh major heart eyes

Happy birthday, daiki!
Tumblr media
Is this my own way of announcing that it’s my birthday today? Maybe..
Soo fun celebration time with the best boys?
Tumblr media
“Hey! Don’t touch it!” Zeke scolded Salem as he slapped his hand away from the cake now lifting it away from the curious male. “It’s wet! Wet wet wet!” Salem sang out reaching up to grab it.
You watched at salem tried reaching towards zeke trying to hold back laughter as you helped mateo put the banner up. You all were decorating daiki’s apartment while axis and rin stalled him by taking him out.
“It’s not wet, it’s a strawberry tres leches cake which is daiki’s absolute favorite! You wouldn’t wanna ruin it” mateo chimed in as he finished tying his side of the banner before hopping off the ladder. “Salem if you ruin this, I’ll skin you alive” Hikaru warned with a scowl.
“Why are we doing this again? Daiki isn’t as cute as y/n and nearly not as important” Yuuji mumbled out making you glare at him as you finished the banner “he deserves a celebration! He doesn’t ask for much, he barley asks for anything at all..he works and works but never complains, it’s only right” you huffed out in utter annoyance.
“Plus you aren’t even doing shit, you’re just sitting there!” Hikaru snapped out with a growl in his voice now kicking the chair and in turn pushing Yuuji off it “at least pretend to care!” Hikaru snapped. Zeke rolled his eyes as he placed the cake on the table before checking his phone. “Shit, they are about to pull up” he hissed out.
Excitement and nervousness bubbles inside of you as the others scrambled to make sure everything was perfect before tiago turned off the light everyone now hiding. You hid with Yuuta both of you behind the couch with Yuuta softly holding your hand.
The sound of keys jingling outside could soon be heard as the door opened “all I’m saying is that there is no way goku can be sailor moon and you can fight me o-” daiki stubbornly stated only to stop when he turned on the light and see you all jump out.
“Surprise!”
Daiki’s first instinct was to flinch eyes closed ready for some kind of harsh impact but when there was none he opened his eyes a nervous smile on his face as the sight of all the decorations. Rin grinned pridefully now nudging axis
“I say we did our job well!” He cheered out to axis who gave rin a pout “you didn’t do anything you got us kicked out the mall for drinking the fountain water” axis scolded out. “Details aren’t important! It’s daiki’s big day” rin cheered out.
“Is this really all for me? D-did it take you long to do? I don’t wanna be a bother o-” daiki stopped his worried mumbled at the feeling of you hugging him close his eyes wide as he hugged back with a shaky laughing. “Of course it’s for you! It’s okay to get spoiled especially on your birthday!” You cheered out.
“Listen here idiot! Me, Tiago and zeke spent hours cooking your favorite meals if you don’t eat it I’m kicking your ass!” Hikaru snapped out only to wince at mateo pinching him “I-I mean, just enjoy it” Hikaru hissed out as he looked down.
“But I don’t des-”
“You deserve it, so just have fun yeah?” Zeke scolded lightly with a grin “hoy es tu día” he added and daiki gave a nod “y-yeah okay!” He cheered out with a bright grin.
The party was chaotic to say the least but it made daiki laugh and smile more than he has in years. “Sushi!” He chimed out as he looked at the table of food “of course, I make the best sushi ever” Hikaru bragged as daiki ate some only to flinch at the sound of his gagging.
“H-hey h-hika, you might have added too much salt” he mumbled out
“H-huh?!” Hikaru said in a panicked tone as he went to try one only to have daiki grin devilishly “kidding! It’s perfect!” He cheered out with a laugh.
“Daiki! Get back here!”
“Careful don’t fa-” you started to say only to hear a crash followed by laughing from both mateo and daiki. “I swear, they are gonna kill each other” zeke said softly with a chuckle.
“Candles candles!” Salem cheered out with an excited grin as he watched tiago light the candles. “Where have you been the entire party?” Daiki asked out curiously only for Salem to respond with a lot of sexual hand motions before pointing towards a sleeping axis.
“Oh. Gross” rin teased out before looking back at the cake, candles lit. “You gotta make a wish! It’s bad luck if you don’t” rin cheers out before all eyes landed on daiki.
“A wish huh? Well, I guess so”
After a few seconds the candles were blown out and everyone cheered “the baby is growing up!” Zeke teased out “it’s about time you hit that 20 mark!” Hikaru said with a cocky grin.
“Yeah yeah! Cake cake cake cake!” Daiki chanted out with excitement his eyes sparkling at the sight of the cake. “Care to do the honors?” Rin asked as he handed daiki the knife.
“Ah yeah give the adhd kid a knife”
“Hey! We aren’t that bad!” Mateo retorted only for tiago to roll his eyes “you once got lost in Walmart and proceeded to scream I need an adult for an hour” tiago mumbled back
“well I did”
“You were 18”
“Both of you hushhhh I’m doing manly things!” Daiki hissed out as he cut the cake with a proud grin “haha! See I could do it!” He cheered out making you laugh “very impressive I’m impressed” you said as you rewarded him with a kiss on the cheek
“O-oh! H-heh yeah” he mumbled out as he rubbed his cheek. Salem pounced on daiki “kisses kisses! Birthday kisses!” He slurred out now peppering the male with kisses
“Ack! S-Salem! That’s not an area you’re supposed to kiss- I-I’m sensitive there!” Daiki sputtered out while laughing and moaning.
“G-guys, thanks for this” Daiki said as he sat up with a grin.

AaaaaaaAAAA bestie!!! 🥺😭
Ur stories always make me blush
I feel likeeeee everyone would of course love the wa da da but I think
The first time all of kep1er was there to witness a wa da da, there was a lot of fangirling and teasing and cooing abt how cute the maknae is (and I just know that someone would record it bc the maknae gets embarrassed and does it again)
Literally all of kep1er would tickle the reader if they heard a nervous wa da da bc their baby is not allowed to be nervous or sad
I feel like Bahi, Hikaru, Dayeon & Chaehyun would try to make the wa da da happen the most bc it gives them energy (Maybe Yujin too now that I think abt it)
The rest of kep1er is less likely to tickle solely to get a wa da da but they will always coo and tease whenever one happens
And the maknae's wa da da probably makes kep1er baby the reader even more 🥺
I also feel like Kep1er would trick reader and Hikaru a lot, with pretending to give cheek charges to Hika only to tickle, and then hugs/affection for the maknae but it's a surprise tickle attack
I think that Hikaru (yes Hikaru) and Yujin would be the softest lers just bc Hika is a huge baby but she'll baby the maknae even more and it's so soft,, and then Yujin just bc she's so soft and although she's excited to be the oldest and a ler, she has to take care of the baby and so she's super soft
I feel like Yeseo would want to be a ler for the reader bc now they're the maknae but she's just super duper soft and not used to it so it makes it even cuter and they have tickle fights bc of course they do (and then sometimes the unnies come and help yeseo tickle the reader but she always ends up getting tickled right after)
thank u for spoiling me ilu so much bestie!!!
I hope you're having a very wonderful day!!
-bestie anon <3
Why are you saying aaaaaa I should be the one saying that ahhh you have the cutest explanations
Plus Bahi possibly being added to the tickle monster line with Dayeon and Chaehyun 👀
Also I know I keep saying Hikaru is a baby but she'll solely be a ler to a maknae only because of how shy she gets. Like too shy where she can barely ask for tickles or even say the tword shy. Like idc if the maknae reader is taller with the right words they'll make sure she's treated like the baby.
Plus the thought of Yeseo being a lee makes me fangirl so much

Prompt: Hurt/comfort or commoners
Relationships: Gen (Hikaru & Kaoru; very platonic please don’t read this or tag as a ship)
Word count: 1413
Warnings: None
Summary: Everything was normal, and everything was fine--until, of course, a fight broke out between the twins.
Hello again! Here’s my fic for day three of @ohshc-week. Fun fact: while writing this I completely forgot about the prompt, so this is more of just loosely based on hurt/comfort; it’s sorta there it could’ve been better :/ But still! I hope you enjoy this!
Tamaki was in the middle of talking with his clients when he heard a crash. He immediately turned to see what it was, with the girls doing the same, some letting out small gasps at the sound. The tray that normally held the cups of tea and teapot was on the ground, shards of porcelain from the broken cups scattered along the ground, with the tea spilt everywhere. Everyone stared silently, unsure what to do, while Hikaru and Kaoru seemed to glare at each other, both standing and above the broken tea set. Tea was soaked in Hikaru’s uniform, and Kaoru slowly moved away from the liquid on the ground.
“What the hell, Kaoru,” Hikaru growled, voice low, but the room was so quiet, no one daring to make a noise, that everyone could hear him. “What was that for?”
“I have no idea what you mean, Hikaru,” Kaoru said, “It’s not like I did it on purpose. But I suppose that doesn’t matter much to you, does it?” Hikaru gave a small growl at this, as the two continued to glare at each other. The girls around them, who were originally there to watch the twins’ act, started to get uncomfortable.
Kyoya was quick to stand up, interrupting whatever Hikaru was going to say next. “I’m going to have to give you my apologies ladies,” he started, catching everyone’s attention, “but I’m afraid that the host club will have to close early today. Again, I do apologize for this; hopefully the host club can make this up to you.” The girls all mumbled to themselves, and the hosts all bird their goodbyes to their respective clients. When they all left, leaving only the hosts in the room, Kyoya turned his attention to the twins, who were still standing there, glaring at each other, Hikaru not even caring about the tea soaked in his school uniform.
“Now, do either of you two want to explain to me what’s going on, and why I had to close the club early? We’ve probably lost a few clients from this, who are hesitant to come back after seeing this.”
The twins pointed at one another. “He started it!” they said in unison.
“You’re the one to bump into with the tea set on purpose!” Hikaru said.
“Well you’ve been in a bad mood all day! Not my fault that I was just getting some payback.”
“I don’t care who started it,” Kyoya said, voice low. His glare at the twins set chills down everyone’s necks. “I want you two to fix it.”
Before the twins could say anything, Honey looked over to Hikaru. “C’mon, Hika-chan,” he started. “Let’s go clean up your uniform, okay?”
Hikaru thought for a few seconds, then gave a short huff, refusing to look at his brother. “Fine,” he said, and followed Honey and Mori to the other side of the room, where Hikaru took off his coat, trying his best to deal with the soaked tea. Kaoru gave a sigh, and sat down on one of the nearby couches. Noticing Haruhi, who had brought over towels to clean up the mess, he immediately got down next to her.
“Here, let me help,” he said. “I’m partly responsible for this mess, anyway.”
“Thanks, Kaoru,” she said. As Kaoru dealt with the broken fragments of the tea set, Haruhi tried her best to clean up all of the spilt tea. Noticing that Honey and Mori were quietly talking to Hikaru, she decided that she needed to do the same.
“So, what exactly happened, anyway?” she asked. “It’s not like you two to fight like this.”
“I’m not sure, really,” Kaoru answered. “It’s like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something.” The two were quiet for a few moments, as they cleaned up. “Maybe I did anger him,” he said quietly. “We've just been fighting for a while now--I guess now it was the final straw.”
“What have you guys been fighting about?” she asked.
“Everything,” he answered. “We’ve just been, I don’t know, fighting I guess; anything that one of us does, the other will get annoyed or angry in some sort of way. Like I said, it’s been like this for a while now. I’m not really sure why but we’ve just been getting onto each other’s nerves.”
“Sounds like to me that you guys just need a break,” Haruhi said.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, from what it sounds like, and from what I’ve seen from other people and from myself, you just need a break from each other,” she explained. “Which is completely normal; sometimes people just need breaks from a person that they spend all their time with.”
Kaoru frowned. “We’ve always been together, we’ve never needed a break,” he said. “I don’t know this is any different.”
“Well, you two have been doing your own things,” she said. “I mean, you two are still the closest people I’ve met, but you guys have been doing your own things without each other lately. Maybe it’s just you two growing; I’m not sure though, I can’t really say for sure what’s happening between you two. The best thing you can really do is just to talk to him.”
Kaoru didn’t say anything after that, just cleaning up the rest of the mess silently. Maybe he should have a talk with his brother.
~~~
Kaoru laid down on his bed, staring up at the ceiling, listening to Hikaru tapping his pencil against his homework while he was in thought. The room was silent, other than the steady tapping from Hikaru, and Kaoru was sure that his brother was still angry at him, but he knew that he needed to talk to him.
“Are you still angry with me?” he started out, not really knowing what exactly to say. Hikaru paused his tapping, clearly listening, but soon resumed without answering. “I’ll take that as a yes, then,” Kaoru muttered.
He sat up, facing his brother. “If I apologize for spilling the tea on you, will you start talking to me?” No answer. God, Kaoru hated when he played the silent-game. And as much as a part of him told him that he should just play the silent-game as well, until Hikaru apologized and said something first, another part knew that he needed to be the bigger twin.
“Listen, I’m sorry, alright?” he said, crossing his legs. “Maybe I pushed it too far with that, so I’m sorry.” Still no answer. “Damn it Hikaru! At least say something!”
Hikaru slammed his pencil down onto the table, turning over to face Kaoru. “You want me to say something? Fine; I hate that I have no idea why we’re fighting. I can’t think of anything that has happened in the last few days that has made us fight like this, and that pisses me off.”
“Well why haven’t you said anything?” Kaoru asked, who couldn’t help to raise his voice to match his brother’s volume. “We could’ve stopped and just talked a long time ago if you just said something!”
“Why didn’t you?” Kaoru paused at this question; he truly didn’t know. He knew his brother was quite prideful, and he was the more calm, level-headed one. He knows his brother well enough to know that he wouldn’t drop it, and will just keep pushing, so why didn’t he stop it?
“...I don’t know,” he finally answered, and laid back down with a sigh. “I was caught up with the anger, I guess.” Hikaru didn’t say anything for a few moments, then soon moved, laying down next to his brother. He used his hands as a cushion underneath his head, while Kaoru rested his hands simply on his torso, the two staring up at the ceiling together.
“I’m sorry too,” Hikaru finally said. “I’m in the wrong, too.”
“Yeah, we were both pretty bad,” Kaoru said, happy enough with the fact that Hikaru admitted to being somewhat wrong in the situation and apologized. “It’s probably not gonna be the last time, though.”
“Yeah, you’re right about that,” Hikaru said, and gave a sigh. “We just need to learn to get past it, y’know?”
“Yeah, I know,” Kaoru replied. The two stayed like that for a while, staring at the ceiling. After much thought, thinking about how maybe he and Hikaru were changing and growing apart, but decided that it was going to be alright.
Chapter Seven
Poll Result: Call Kyoya
Takashi nodded at Hikaru, quietly saying what needed to be done. Hikaru sighed and dialed Kyoya’s number, slowly walking to the hallway as he brought the phone to his ear.
“I don’t need a doctor, I just tripped. I promise I’m fine.” Haruhi knew at this point there was no use in trying to convince them otherwise. They were too worried to change their minds now. She could curse herself a thousand times over for thoroughly wrecking their nice day together. She even skipped her classes for… well not this. She’d much rather listen to Professor Ami’s monotone lecture than humiliating herself and her senpai in a freak accident.
If only she could close her eyes and wake up all over again.
Takashi continued to hold the cold towel to her leg, even after Haruhi offered to do it herself. He simply said he didn’t want her bending over and putting pressure on her thighs. When she felt a painful heartbeat drum through her calf she realized his reasons. Mitsukuni tried to keep them entertained with small conversation while Hikaru paced the hallway supposedly speaking to Kyoya. Haruhi wondered what was taking him so long but she wouldn’t dare ask, not when she caused this mess.
A few minutes later Hikaru returned. “I called Kyoya and Milord grabbed the phone when he said Haruhi’s name. It took a while to make him shut up.” He groaned, pushing his fingers through his hair. Tamaki never failed to be a handful at the worst times - but Hikaru couldn’t blame him, not when he reacted similarly. He supposed old habits do die hard.
Haruhi sulked, “Does this mean Tamaki-senpai is going to rush over here?”
“Most likely.” Mitsukuni said apologetically. They all should have known they couldn’t keep anything from Tamaki when Haruhi was involved.
Kaoru, seemingly forgotten by the room, was heard chuckling behind them. Haruhi looked over Takashi’s shoulder to see him sitting on the edge of Takashi’s bed, looking over the back of a vinyl record album. Haruhi allowed herself a smile a little, grateful that not everyone suffered under the tension she’s created. Kaoru had a wonderful gift of always finding something to smile about, a gift she deeply admired.
Another fifteen minutes passed when she heard the stairwell door from the hallway bang open. The heavy footsteps pounding against the wooden floor told her exactly who it was.
Tamaki burst into the apartment, “Haruhi! Are you ok? What happened?”
Mitsukuni went to calm him down but Tamaki moved around him and went straight to Haruhi’s side. Takashi stepped aside to allow Tamaki more space, forcing Haruhi to feel even more cramped on the kitchen counter. If it weren’t for Takashi’s hand still holding the towel in place Tamaki wouldn’t have left an inch of space between them.
“I’m fine senpai, I was just careless.” Haruhi explained.
“Very careless.” Hikaru grumbled beside Kaoru. Haruhi hadn’t noticed he joined his brother on the bed however he didn’t hold the same poise, sitting with sulked shoulders and crossed arms.
Tamaki went to touch her leg but pulled back his hand, not wanting to hurt her. “Don’t worry Haruhi, Kyoya is assembling a small team at his hospital to care for you.”
“A team- what-” Haruhi stammered, “I have a bruise! What do I need a team of doctors for?! You guys, this is getting ridiculous, just take me to my apartment and I’ll ice my leg myself.” She moved to jump off the counter but Takashi stepped in front of her, blocking her from scooting forward.
He shook his head, “Stay still.”
Takashi felt horrible and although he knew he didn’t directly cause her accident he couldn’t help but carry some of the blame. When he fell on her he also closed his eyes, ashamed of seeing her in such a position, but his mind replayed the way she looked at him when she saw him in a towel. How her eyes roamed across his body, as if she were admiring a work of art. She had seen him shirtless many times in the past but not like this - not when he nearly dropped his only covering when she shocked him. Now every time he closed his eyes he saw hers, bright and wide with what he recognized many times in the eyes of silent admirers; guilty lust. The worst of all was, a large part of him liked that she saw him like that. He wanted that image burned in her mind, so everytime she thought of him she remembered just how much he wanted to touch him. He has loved her for so long, always standing in the background as her silent protector and helper, always ready to give her what she needed and be there when she called for help… so if this is what makes her finally see him as anything but a friend then so be it.
Haruhi groaned her annoyance and let her head fall back against the cabinets, “Come on guys,” she complained, “you’re taking this out of-”
“If you hadn’t walked in on Mori-senpai while he was naked then we wouldn’t be in this mess, so quit griping and let us help you.” Hikaru yelled from the bed.
Tamaki looked back at Haruhi wide-eyed, “You saw Mori-senpai naked?!”
Haruhi wanted to explain herself before Tamaki’s wild imagination took hold of his rationality. She could practically see the scene playing in his mind as he reenacted what must have unfolded. She had to defuse this before Tamaki’s obnoxious allegations made everything all the more difficult.
“Tamaki-senpai, what happened was-”
Hikaru interrupted her, shouting with his hand cupped around his mouth, “And I found them on the floor!”
“Shut up Hikaru!” Haruhi barked back, finally losing her temper. She wasn’t sure why Hikaru wanted to push everyone to their edge but he was succeeding in making everything worse. She had hoped he learned how to rope in his jealous immaturity by now, and at times he did prove his progress over minor misunderstandings over the years, but sadly right now he wasn’t acting any better than when he first met her old friend Arai. Just remembering that day made her cringe.
Hikaru abruptly stood to his feet. Kaoru grabbed his hand, not sure what his brother intended on doing but nevertheless knowing he needed to stop him. Hikaru’s shoulders rose and fell with his labored breaths as he nearly seethed in anger.
“What has gotten into you Hika?” Kaoru was getting concerned. He wasn’t sure what set Hikaru off but even worse, he wasn’t sure how to calm him down. Hopefully he didn’t say anything he can’t take back.
“You didn’t see what I saw!” Hikaru accused, pointing directly at Takashi, “From where I was standing I had no choice but to assume-”
“Assume what?” Haruhi interrupted, matching fury in his eyes, “You talk as if you don’t even know us. I thought you knew me better than that…” Her voice died down a little, hearing her words spoken out loud made her realize just what was said. DId Hikaru know her better than that or has he let his jealousy cloud his judgement enough to distort her character?
Hikaur’s eyes lost their anger as he let his arm fall to his side. He looked around the room at their friends who were all watching him now. He could see their concern but also their disappointment.
When he saw Haruhi pinned to the floor by a naked Takashi he really did assume the worst. His mind offered several scenarios that could have led them into such a position. He knew Takashi would never let Haruhi see him in such a state and yet he nearly covered her body with his own. Apparently, a few seconds was all he needed to accuse them of the worst, even after having known them for years.
Yes, Hikaru knew her better than that. He knew Takashi better than that.
He reminded himself that this was where growth began, where change took place. If he ever wanted her to return his feelings then he needed to respect her character and trust her, even when his immaturity betrays him.
“I’m so sorry Haruhi.” He conceited, “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have assumed you two were… just, please forgive me.”
Haruhi calmed down and nodded, “I forgive you Hika.”
Hikaru wanted to hug her but Takashi and Tamaki still stood in her way. He figured she wasn’t exactly in a position to be hugged anyway.
“Why was Mori-senpai naked?” Tamaki asked, still thoroughly confused.
“Drop it senpai, nothing happened.” Haruhi warned sharply.
Tamaki drew back a bit, a little hurt, but nodded.
A cell phone began ringing and Tamaki pulled out his cellphone to answer it.
“Kyoya said everything is ready, let’s go.” He announced after hanging up.
Takashi nodded and picked up Haruhi, careful not to bump her leg on anything. They brought her down to the front foyer where a black SUV waited by the curb and a driver waiting patiently behind tinted windows. Haruhi could only assume it was one of Kyoya’s soldiers that would escort them.
After being dropped off at the emergency ward they found Kyoya waiting by the automatic doors with a nurse standing by.
Kyoya walked to meet them, “That’s a nasty bruise Haruhi, good thing they brought you in. We’ll get the swelling down and dress it with a balm.”
“Thanks senpai,” At this point she knew there was no use in making a fuss.
Kyoya smirked, “Be thankful Hikaru called me right as I was leaving class, otherwise you’d be left to their care.”
The twins rolled their eyes as they followed Kyoya into his hospital.
Surprisingly it didn’t take long for Kyoya’s team to dress her leg and get the swelling down. Haruhi had to admit to herself that her leg felt much better and the care she received was much better than what her friends would have given her at home. At this rate she could be walking on her own again by tonight.
“Alright,” Kyoya said as he clipped her patient files to his clipboard, “We’ll give you the supplies you need to take back with you. You’ll need to rest your leg and not walk when you don’t have to. It needs to stay elevated.”
“Senpai…” Haruhi groaned, not liking the sound of this.
Kyoya continued, “And since I know you’ll disregard my instructions I suggest you spend the night with someone to ensure you don’t make your injury worse.”
Who should care for Haruhi tonight?
Vote Here - (poll will close 9:00pm ETS)
To make up for my ridiculous tardiness I gave you a long juicy chapter with an even juicier poll. I’ll try to update again tonight.
May I request Hikaru for fluff “You know I have feelings for you, right?”
This ask has probably been sitting in my inbox for about a month. And it sat that long cause I wanted to give it the attention it deserved. The last fluff I wrote reeked of angst and I wanted this to be all fluff. And I can confidently say that this is indeed 100% fluff and 0% angst. I know some of you were really sad about my last post of HikaHaru (Disgust and Devotion). Let’s consider this an apology for writing that. Timeline speaking this would happen before Disgust and Devotion. Shout out to @amoreosalina for helping me get the right amount of Italian sprinkled throughout this one-shot!
Fashion and Feelings
Pairing: Hikaru x Haruhi Word Count: 2,700
“She should be here by now,” Hikaru grumbled, tossing his phone back onto the table. “What’s taking so long?” His fingers deftly pushed the needle through the delicate fabric, adding another bead onto the bodice. “Fangul. (fuck)”
Light poured through the large wall of windows of the studio while fluffy white clouds hung effortlessly against the clear blue sky. A plethora of immaculately dressed mannequins lined the wall of exposed brick, ready for a final inspection.
Turning his attention back to the lilac chiffon dress pooled atop the workbench he continued to mutter to himself. “It has to look perfect. She deserves my best work.” His hands moved with ease adding more beads and removing the last of the pins holding the pleats in place, doing his best to pour his all into his final piece- though this one is reserved for someone more special than a model.
Haruhi watched with bated breath as she leaned against the door frame, not having the heart to interrupt Hikaru from his work. Her eyes followed his hands as they diligently worked with the fabric. Though it was not often she was able to witness him working it was always a treat to see him come alive in the studio, his body trained for fashion excellence. The flight from Boston to Milan was exhausting but the prospect of a week away from school and reuniting with her friends was enough for her to push through her final assignments and her current exhaustion to enjoy what little time they had together.
Glancing one last time at the completed piece Hikaru sighed with contentment, allowing himself to smile widely at the finished dress. “Perfecto.”
“An awful lot of space for just one person. It never amazes me how much space you think you need.” Haruhi giggled from the doorway, finally catching Hikaru’s attention.
“You made it!” His childlike giddiness getting the better of him as he practically rushed over towards the door, lifting Haruhi up into a hug.
“Wouldn’t miss it.” She wheezed under his hold, allowing her bag to drop carelessly to the ground. “How could I say no when you threatened to come to Boston yourself just to drag me here yourself?”
Releasing her from his hold, he placed her back onto solid ground before smirking. “We all know how one-track-minded you get with school, besides if it wasn’t me it would have been.”
“Tamaki.”
“Tamaki.” He watched her body shiver at the thought before she leaned down to retrieve her bag.
“Good point.” Shifting her weight to shoulder her bag she stepped further into the studio.
“Here, I can take that.” Hikaru gestured towards her bag.
Reluctantly she handed it over and followed him towards the work desk.
Depositing the bag on the bench, he cocked a brow back at her. “Is this all you brought?” He asked, looking between Haruhi and the bag.
“I have known you long enough Hikaru Hitachiin to know that you probably already have three suitcases stuffed full of things I will be forced into this week. So yes, my one bag is all I brought so that I have enough hands to drag whatever you have for me back home.”
“Bella, and just when I thought you couldn’t get any smarter, there you go again.” Smiling, he pointed towards the clothing rack against the wall filled with colorful patterns and miscellaneous sized boxes. “You caught me.”  Anything for you, my love.
“You are only making more work for yourself when you do things like this. When did you even have time to pick all of this out?”
“You make time for the important things.” He sighed quietly as he watched her hold up a summer dress dotted with small flowers- that’s one of my favorites.
“What’d you say?” The light clinking and slide of the hangers filling the space between them.
“It wasn’t all me, you know as well as I do how mother feels about dressing up her favorite little doll.” He cooed before gliding his hand over the soft materials hanging at the end of the rack.
Skeptically she placed another cream colored blouse back onto the rack. “Right.”
It’s not like it was a total lie. His mother did pick out things but they were neatly folded and already placed into their own suitcase. This rack was all his doing, but he would never tell her that. “So what do you think?”
“It all looks nice but you know you guys know you don’t have to keep doing things like this just for me.”
“I know but we are just as stubborn as you are.”
“Thanks. And tell your mother thanks in case I miss her in the business of this weekend, okay?”
“Sure thing.”
Leaving the rack of clothing Haruhi walked back over to the workstation to admire the work she interrupted with her arrival. “This is really beautiful Hika.” Her hands glided across the fabric fluttering over the edge of the table. “Is this the last look?”
Hikaru felt his heartbeat quicken as he watched her admire his work. Without even knowing she had given him the affirmation he needed to unravel his heart to her. Walking up behind her he watched over her shoulder as she lightly held onto the chiffon. “Well, as much as I would like it to be, I’m afraid this one wasn’t meant for the runway.”
Haruhi glanced at the line of mannequins and back at the dress before looking over her shoulder confused. “What do you mean this isn’t the last look? It’s beautiful, it deserves to be seen by everyone.”
“Oh really?” He grinned back at her.
“Yes really.” Turning to face him she lightly pressed her finger into the center of his chest. “You don’t mean to tell me that you had extra time to make this and not put it into the show?”
“I’m sorry to disappoint you but I don’t have an extra body on hand to model this specific piece for the show.” He knew he was cornering her into an unsuspecting trap but he just couldn’t resist pushing her buttons- just a little bit more.
“You are Hikaru Hitachiin, eldest son to the Hitachiin brand! You mean to tell me that you couldn’t find even one person to come in and wear this?”
“Are you volunteering? Because if I recall, I am indeed Hikaru Hitachiin and I did happen to pay for someone to come and wear this piece.”
“What?”
“You don’t have to walk the show but I would be honored if you wore this and accompanied me down the carpet.”
“I can’t wear this! It was meant for someone with a totally different body type. I would practically be swimming in all this fabric.”
“Well if my last set of measurements for you are still accurate then you shouldn’t be unless you’ve decided to drastically change your body within the last six months.” He was practically giggling as he watched her come to the realization.
“My measurements?”
“Yes, dear, your measurements.”
Turning back around to face the dress she clutched her hands to her chest. “You made this for me?” Her head was swimming as her eyes examined the dress again.
“I couldn’t resist.” His hands twitched as he fought the urge to wrap them around her small frame and snuggle into her tousled hair. Her reaction made it nearly impossible to maintain what little self control he had left.
“You shouldn’t have.” Her voice felt so small in the openness of the studio. She felt her heart begin to betray her composed exterior.
“So is that a yes?”
Haruhi could hear the smile in his voice as he asked. “How am I supposed to say no?”
“If you want there are a few options hanging up on the rack if you would feel more comfortable in something else.” He didn’t want to reveal how his feelings cracked at the thought of her denying his gift as his eyes raked over the garments hanging across the room. “But I will say I will look pretty silly in what I made for myself if you pick something else.” Using humor to try and break the tension of his question. “And if you do decide to wear it I will need to see if I need to make any last minute changes.”
“I think it would be a travesty if no one but you and I were the only ones to see this.” She picked up the dress with care looking around the room. “Changing room?”
“You could always just get dressed in front of the mirror.” He snickered, wiggling his eyebrows back at her. “I wouldn’t mind.”
“Har, har, har. Don’t you get enough time looking at half naked bodies?” She deadpanned back at him.
“If you insist.” He tisked, placing a hand at the small of her back he led her to the adjoining room with a partition placed near the corner. “You can change behind here and I can help you with the zipper once you are finished.”
Disappearing behind the partition Haruhi popped back out to wag her finger at him, giving him one final warning. “No peeking.”
“I promise.” Holding his hands up to placate the female’s warning.
Tossing the dress over the top of the partition Haruhi looked at the small box set on the bench placed against the wall. “Most people would be creeped out by someone other than a significant other who bought them lingerie.”
“If that were the case you wouldn’t have any underwear, though I am not opposed to that idea.” He watched her silhouette move behind the partition, letting his imagination wonder. “Can’t have you wearing that dress with just anything underneath, my mother would scold me the entire time on our trip back to Japan.”
Flipping open the box she exchanged her well worn undergarments for the newly purchased ones. “Nice choice,” she remarked at the blush colored lace.
“I thought you might approve. I have a whole other set left out with the other clothes so you have a fresh set this weekend.”
“And what per se are you going to do with my other clothes this time?”
“Well, the last time I burned them and you about choked the life out of me. I would rather not have a repeat of that particular event. Turns out being choked is not my thing.”
Haruhi couldn’t help but giggle at his admission. “Glad to see physical violence was the right choice to get my point across.” Slipping her arms through the off the shoulder sleeves and tightening her hold on the bodice she walked to the edge of the partition turning her back towards the open room. “Zipper please and no peeking.”
“Fine. Fine. No peeking. But it’s going to be kind of hard to find the zipper without my eyes. I might just have to feel around to find it.”
She felt his hands lightly trace down her exposed skin fumbling for the zipper. “We both know that you could do this blindfolded and with one hand.”
“You’re probably right but where’s the fun in that?” His hands gilded the zipper up with ease giving her shoulders a gentle squeeze. “All ready! Now out to the podium for inspection.”
The deep side slit fluttered open, revealing the smooth skin of her exposed leg, as she followed behind Hikaru back towards the main room of the studio. Taking her place on the podium she watched in the three panel mirror as he moved swiftly around the room flicking on switches and grabbing a pin cushion. The fullness of the gown pooled around her feet before she lifted it lightly allowing it to fall more naturally into its proper resting place. This might just be his best work yet.
“Faccia bella.” He could hear his heart practically pounding out of his chest as he finally allowed himself to look at Haruhi in all of her glory. Her skin glowed under the white lights of the box lights making her look like an ethereal fairy basking in the light of the moon. The dress clung to her body like a second skin, a nearly perfect fit.
“Hikaru?”
A quiet voice bringing him back into reality, eyes snapping to the woman staring at him in the mirror.
"What are you staring at? Is something wrong with the dress?" Glancing down at the gown, she twirled slowly to face him. “Is it not how you thought it would look on me?”
“What? No, its perfect.” The pincushion slipped from his hand, forgotten as he walked up to her.
“Oh good!” Stepping off the podium she did a small twirl. “It doesn’t need any alterations?”
“No alterations needed. You’re perfect.” His eyes shined brightly as he took her hand, placing a gentle kiss upon her knuckle.
Haruhi’s cheeks flushed a light shade of pink as she watched his eyes rake up and down her body. “I don’t want to upstage you at your own show.”
"No matter how long its been, you are still as oblivious as ever."
"What is that supposed to mean? Am I missing something?"
Grabbing her other hand he watched her eyes searching his. All self-control be damned. If he was going to unravel his heart he was going to do it right. Leaning in he watched her eyes for any signs of hesitation. His lips stopped just far enough away to feel her taking shallow breaths. "It has to be obvious now. You know I have feelings for you right? I mean come on Haruhi. I have been chasing after you the moment you walked into the club room. No matter how far apart we are I can't get you out of my mind. The only thing I ever think about is you."
Haruhi’s eyes flicked between his lips and his golden eyes. What is he waiting for? “Hikaru?”
Bending down ever so slightly he closed his eyes and pressed his lips against hers. It was everything he ever wanted. Just a moment. Just one moment. All he had wanted for the past three years was for her to know exactly how he felt. And now here she was in Milan with him, wearing a dress inspired by her, and kissing him. It was pure and wonderful. “Woah.”
“Woah,” she responded back breathlessly.
Releasing her hands he brought his up to cradle her face, caressing the softness of her cheeks before pulling her in for another kiss. If this was going to be the only and last time he would be able to kiss her he was going to make the most of it.
She found herself responding to his kiss, hesitantly wrapping her arms around his back pulling him closer, deepening their kiss. Perhaps between school and work, she had found herself thinking of him too.
After a few more moments of pure bliss, he found himself giving her one final kiss before pressing his forehead against hers. He couldn’t help but smile as he tried to catch his breath. “Sorry, I just couldn’t go another moment without you knowing my feelings and after seeing you in the dress my heart was going to explode if I kept it in any longer.”
“Maybe I am a bit too oblivious for my own good sometimes.” Haruhi chuckled nervously.
Laughter bubbled up from his chest as he wrapped her up in a hug. “You don’t say?”
“A little.”
“I’ll take your kissing me back as a sign of your agreement to be my girlfriend. Do you agree to the terms?”
“And just what kind of terms are we dealing with with your proposed agreement?”
“Future lawyer-like as always. Well I guess it would be what we are doing now plus you get the benefit of now having a significant other who is really good at picking out lingerie. Deal?”
“Hmm, deal.”
“Does this mean I am allowed to peek now?”
“Just because I am your girlfriend now does not mean that my no peeking rule is redacted. Instead of acting like a respectable profession you now have to act as a respectable boyfriend.”
“ Merda (shit).”
uwu hello! is it okay i request for a benimaru fluff oneshot, or if it's too much, then just a headcanon, of how benimaru 'court' his girl and how he acts around her in the fire force after they started dating. looking forward for it, thank you ❣️💜
Benimaru flirting and dating you | Headcanons
gender neutral
Hi ! I saw that you were also following me on my kny blog and that’s very cute thanks ❤️
Tumblr media
Actually, he was training you even though you were older than Shinra and Arthur. But that’s when he developed a crush on you.
It was the way you fought, the way you would try to cheer your younger friends up whenever they were failing, the way you were graceful while fighting... but it made him fall for you.
He wasn’t that obvious at first. He actually congratulated you -what he doesn’t do with the others- and complimented your tactics. Once, you even caught his lips twitch when you were able to hurt him.
Beni got forced to ask you out. Indeed, after being much nicer to you than to everyone else without any serious reason, Hina and Hika understood that he had a crush on you.
‘’(Y/N) ! You’re here, you’re here !’’ One said. ‘’Shinmon wants to ask you out ! He does !’’ The other added, leaving you disturbed and confused. Beni sighed, walking to you. ‘’It’s true, though...’’ he said.
After that forced confession, you did go on a date with Beni, and that turned out pretty well, since you started dating. Maybe the fact that he went to a fancy restaurant only for you made you believe he truly did love you.
As you were a member of the 8th Company, he would often call you whenever you can’t see each other, or one would visit the other at least once a week.
If you ever got hurt on a mission, he would be the first one to rush to you, pushing everyone who’s trying to help you too.
If you got hurt on a mission while he wasn’t there, he would go all the way to the hospital you’re staying at, and stay with you until you can go out. He would also insult the others that they weren’t able to protect you.
He would 100% try to convince you to become a member of the 7th Company instead, as he really needs you to be with him since he’s stressed a lot at work, he would understand if you don’t agree to join him.
Overall, he would be very overprotective towards you, but he would also be a sweetheart. How many times your teammates would hear him saying sweet nothings to you on the phone ! And he’s trying to work on his overprotectiveness, it’s just new for him but he does try...
I am intrigued by all the questions present in Salty ask list that you shared! i would love to hear your thoughts for question 7, 18 and 26 for ATLA!!
Thank you Hika!!! Always love seeing your thoughts on the series as well
Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*
Hmm...not that I can think of right now
Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased?
Not at all. Everyone is biased even people who say they’re neutral on ships or whatever and there’s nothing wrong with having a bias. Sometimes the popular pairings just aren’t ones that are logical or fit with the series or maybe they just don’t appeal subjectively to some people. Popular does not equal good
Most shippable character?
Hmm idk...probably Aang or Sokka because they just seem to kind of get along with everyone and they have agreeable personalities but it’s funny because I can’t ship them with anyone except their canon love interests
SoKai Week Day 2. Prompt: First Meeting.
Author’s Note: My take on how Sora and Kairi met… but I didn’t use the manga version—or Sora finding Kairi at all—as I figured everyone would do that. And something like this might actually be canon, because in the game Sora and Riku are basically like, “You know the girl at the mayor’s house? She got here during the meteor shower.” So, it sort of seemed like they didn’t know Kairi before that moment, but perhaps went to go meet her then?
Also… While I usually write a third person that’s from a character’s PoV, this is moreso the omniscient/omnipresent PoV—like, a god or gods are narrating about Sora here and not Sora himself—and that’s why it has adult lingo instead of childish lingo in this little boy’s memory.
And (1) and (2) here are just instances where Sora and Kairi used the wrong words, because they’re babies. Sora meant to say “glaring” instead of “grinning”, and Kairi meant to say “world” instead of “whirl”… I thought about having Riku mess up with that once, too… but even as a toddler, I think he’s too smart for that. XD
Oh, and eventually the parents do catch up with Sora and Kairi… but since they’re just having a nice moment—where Kairi’s making yet another friend—they leave them be for a moment, while they secretly watch them from afar.
It also used to be an old fanon theory, that Kairi’s name is actually “Hikari” and not “Kairi”. And that she tried to say her name was Hikari when she was first found… but was having difficulty speaking from having just space traveled, and it came out sounding more like “Kairi”. So the adults started calling her Kairi, and later she had amnesia and couldn’t even correct them that that was wrong and thought it was right herself. So I went with that here, just because.
Enjoy!
How Can I Love, When I’m Afraid to Fall?
How had Sora and Kairi met? That was an easy one… Sora had gone over to her house with his dad—after having heard about the new girl at the mayor’s house—soon after he’d helped that person who had been squeezing his heart, as he felt that she somehow needed his help, too.
And it was, strangely, when the small Kairi opened the door to let him in… that would partly make a later Sora realize he loved her. Since he would often see Donald do such things… and so it was clear that she could fit in with both the old and new segments of his life.
“Kairi!” chastised the man, who Sora could only assume was Kairi’s adopted father—the mayor—as she tried to usher them in. "You can't just open the door by yourself like that, sweetie." And with that “sweetie” added in for the child he had only just met, it had seemed to Sora that the elected official had already come to adore her heart and spirit.
But even though the man had just told Kairi “no”, about letting Sora and his dad in… he motioned that they should come in now, anyway, in probably thinking it would be rude otherwise.
"Hi!" the cute girl had said with such energy, that she'd inspired Sora to try and be just as extroverted as she was from now on, since it did no good to be shy in Kindergarten. "Have you come to see me? I'm Hika- Kairi."
"Yeah! We hear you came from another world!" Sora exclaimed excitedly, as he’d beamed at Kairi and resisted the urge to pinky promise with her that he’d help her fine her home planet.
…But even though Sora had been young at the time, he'd been able to tell by the look on the mayor's face that he was uncomfortable with what he had just said. His face had looked both pinched and purple as, he'd stepped closer to Sora's old man and whispered, "Even if she is, this is not the time nor the place to-"
And Sora had immediately understood then, that the mayor was unintentionally confirming that Kairi did come from another world. Parents were always this grave, when they wanted you to believe something. It was like how Sora had recently come to accept that Santa wasn't real… somewhat because of Riku. And when he’d told his parents that, they'd used big words to try and say that Santa did exist.
"Surely the world is good enough, that a man would secretly give everyone presents one night a year," Sora’s mom had argued. But Sora had deduced later—when he saw a play guitar his parents gotten him for Christmas when they’d all been out shopping together (that they’d clearly forgotten about) labeled as "From Santa"—that that wasn't true.
And one time, when Sora had suspected his dad had eaten his cookie, the man usually of few words had asked, "Would an honest and good man do that to you, when he also just bought you a slip-and-slide to show you how good he is?" And Sora had heard that his dad's voice was higher, too.
It was the same thing here. And knowing that, Sora interrupted the grownups before they could get angry, as only adults did, and said, "I'm going to take Kairi to the Play Island. She needs to meet Riku, if she's going to play here!"
And Sora was running off with Kairi's hand in his own, before either man could catch them. They were toddlers, after all, and much faster because of it.
Just a few days ago, a massive makeshift bridge had been erected, to get people from the Main Island to the Play Island faster. And while it would sink before Sora and Kairi turned six, it served to get them to what they'd eventually see as their home right now, so Kairi could meet her other future best friend this night.
But as they ran... Sora couldn't help being struck by how Kairi’s red hair matched that of the setting sun. He'd never been out this late before, and so this memory would later stick with him for two reasons.
Once they reached the paopu tree where Riku was at, Sora felt proud that he'd won this "race" with Kairi, but also bad that she was now wheezing with her hands on her knees. He put a hand on her shoulder to try and calm her once, before walking towards Riku.
"Hey, Sora," Riku smiled, as he seemed to sense his bestie's attention on him even without turning around. "What are you doing out so late?"
An older Sora would have easily turned that around on Riku—in wondering why he was out this late—but baby Sora had had no idea what attitude or turning the tables was, so he instead proudly showed off Kairi, by putting a hand in front of her face before pulling it away, like a magician revealing what was behind curtain number one. "Riku, this here is Kairi. She's from another world! But the grownups don't want us to know and were grinning at each other." (1)
And Riku was instantly sympathetic here, while Kairi winced. And at the time, Sora had thought it was secondhand embarrassment she felt for her new father's sake... but years later, he would come to understand why Kairi might fear adults being angry at her—because of the experiments Xehanort did on her; and perhaps he treated her worse during them, if the results displeased him some way—and it made his blood boil.
"The... other world thing is cool," Riku had chirped, as he’d indicated Kairi should relax and take a seat on the paopu tree trunk he himself had just vacated. "But the adult stuff is rough... eat a paopu here, and take a load off. …They say, if two people share one, they'll kiss forever or something. But who cares about the icky thing? Just eat it like I do, and pray that other part will never get to you."
Kairi did seem somewhat hungry to Sora, so maybe that was why she took Riku up on his offer. But only somewhat. For in maybe not wanting to mess up the paopu fruit legend like he was okay to, she smashed the fruit in her hand some and then just only drank the juice from it. And Sora watched on, somewhat transfixed, as he thought he was the only one to do that…
It was after a seagull accidentally dropped a coconut by the new trio's feet—and they all began eating it, after they’d worked together to get it open—that Kairi finally spoke up about something that seemed to be on her mind, "...Don't get your hopes up, you two. I might not be from another whirl. I don't remember." (2)
And Riku opened his mouth as if he was about to say something, but Sora cut him off by extending a hand towards Kairi for her to take and smiling at her. "Even if not... you may be from another island. And so, you can show us another world that way. And maybe we'll be your friend for that... or everything else!"
And Kairi's face lit up like the Christmas tree that Sora loved even now, as she threw her arms around Sora and eventually brought Riku into the hug, too. "Thank you both... so much."
And years later, Sora would come to understand that maybe Kairi had come to love him, because he'd been the first to bring her something good after her recent world of horrors.
Author’s Note: I also hope I didn’t make Kairi’s adopted dad seem abusive. Because he’s not. At all. That one part was just to say that Xehanort gave Kairi trauma about any adult for a while:(
Otomate Party 2017 - Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk
Self-indulgent? Self-indulgent. Translated skit script done with Lawrence, Elric, Lugus and Lavan at 2017′s Otopa. Has some Black Butterfly content as well. This fandom needs more food.
**Please don’t move this translation or claim it as your own.**
Lawrence: It looks like it’s stopped snowing for the time being. Now, let’s see... Oh? This is...
Elric: Lawrence, do you know where Rabbit’s gone off to? That said, what’s with the package?
Lawrence: I just received it, let’s see... it has this little bottle of liquid and a letter.
Elric: Oh? Read it, then.
Lawrence: “A God-given gift to everyone in the church to bring modest smiles. - Ash.” Let’s see here, the instructions say ‘medicine that makes people honest’.
Elric: Ugh, sounds fake.
Lawrence: But if it’s real, wouldn’t you want to try it, Elric?
Elric: ... Don’t tell me, you want me to drink that...
Lawrence: Hehe... the effects last for-
Elric: This is stupid! Just come and help me find Rabbit-
Lavan: Am I interrupting anything?
Lawrence: Ah, Lavan-kun. Nothing of the sort, please come in. Oh, for the two of you to come together, that’s a rare sight.
Lavan: Two?
Lugus: We did not come together. It was simply that while I was on my way to the church, this beast was already a few steps ahead of me.
Lavan: Lugus. I never thought I would see the Hawk’s heir in a place like this. When did you make this place your roost?
Elric: They start arguing as soon as they see each other. It happens all the time, but it’s super annoying. If they decide to draw their swords...
Lawrence: Hm... oh, I know. If they drank this medicine, then we’ll be able to know their true feelings. If they become more honest, perhaps they could come to understand one another?
Elric: Hah? Won’t they just draw their swords with honesty?
Lawrence: It’s decided, I’ll go brew some tea.
Elric: Lawrence! Ugh... you need to limit those fantasies in your head...
Lugus: Who do you think you are? If you’re walking on snow, and you see any slippery roads, why would you walk across them?!
Lavan: What’s wrong with that? Let me guess, you’re telling me this because you’ve slipped before?
Lugus: Wrong! I was simply cursing you to slip yourself stupid behind you.
Lavan: Swooping to such a low level. You as well, maybe you should use the snow on your eaves to cool your head.
Elric: You two aren’t so different when it comes to being rude.
Lawrence: So they argue like this when there’s no one to mediate between them. I see, I see. Here, some tea.
Elric: Ah, don’t just serve it like usual...
Lavan: Ah, thank you. (To Lugus) That said, that drinking incident earlier-
Lugus: Thank you for the tea. (To Lavan) Why are you using that the know-it-all tone? Is it about me taking care of your drunk-crazy brother?
Lavan: ...What did you say? (drinks)
Lugus: Hmph! (drinks)
Elric: They drank it! I’m nervous...
Lavan / Lugus: (gags)
Lavan: What is this taste? It’s like... mother’s... tea...
Lugus: ... If I had to describe it... it taste like... leather gloves that have never been washed...
Lavan: (laughs) As expected of a Hawk. So they know what leather gloves taste like.
Lugus: I was merely making a comparison. Or do Wolves not know what metaphors are?
Elric: Hey... they haven’t changed at all. Are you sure you weren't given a fake?
Lawrence: How strange, it shouldn’t... Ah, I know. It's simply because the question is wrong. Let's talk about the women you like.
Elric: Hah?! That’s such a big leap in subjects!
Lawrence: You two, is there a woman you admire? Could you tell me what kind of person they are?
Lugus: What kind of question are you-- A strong-willed woman.
Lavan: Really, why are you asking a question like that here out of all places-- I don't really mind her outward valiance, but I love her inner pureness.
Elric: Woah, how scary, it really worked...
Lawrence: Hmhm~ And, what else is there?
Lavan: Let me think... She doesn’t neglect to smile, but she doesn’t fake it. It’s the expression of her gratitude and her kindness. It’s the way she whole-heartedly treats me that moves my heart. Her openness melted away my complex, frozen heart. Perhaps she can make it so that the beast that hides inside my chest will never reveal itself. But sometimes I think, if it’s her... I want her to understand this side of me. I want her to know.
Lugus: ... To never reveal itself... No, the woman I know is not like that. Though she looks like she is a principled, pure and earnest woman, she has weaknesses as well. She could guide me only because she knew her own weaknesses and strengths. She could easily tame a beast, even if her hand is injured, or even if she was bitten. I’ll always pray that I can be by her side at that moment to tend to her wounds.
Lavan: I see, so the woman you love is not just a virtuous lady.
Lugus: Exactly. The one you love has some similarities to mine.
Elric: They’re understanding each other... Wow, I’m getting goosebumps...
Lugus: However, even though I have such strong feelings, I can list our encounters with my fingers.
Lavan: Why? You can just go and see her.
Lugus: I’ve asked her what kind of person she is and what she does, but she doesn’t tell me. There is no way to write her a letter, nor get in contact with her.
Lavan: That... must be hard. I understand the feeling of only being able to rely on fate to meet my loved one.
Lugus: So you’ve had the same experience?
Lavan: Yes, it leaves much to be desired.
Lawrence: Mm, it looks like their quarrel has been perfectly stopped.
Elric: And my goosebumps have disappeared.
Lawrence: At least they’re talking amiably. Right, Lugus-kun, Lavan-kun?
Lavan: What about you, Lawrence?
Lawrence: Eh?
Lugus: That’s right, do you not have something as well?
Lawrence: Hm... if I had to say, I love a woman who is gentle and soft, an optimist, and someone who suits smiling under the sun.
Lugus: You must be talking about the personality you like in a woman.
Lavan: Then, do you have someone in mind?
Lawrence: I’ll leave that up to you to decide.
Elric: Aa~h, all this girl talk is so boring.
Lawrence: Apologises, Elric. Here, I prepared some snacks.
Elric: Woah! Cookies! I guess I have no choice. I won’t hold back, then.
Lawrence: Here, some tea as well.
Elric: Ah, mm. (drinks)
Lawrence: Hehe...
Elric: Oh no! Gah... hhgh.... this rotten... medicine taste...
Hikage, appearing behind Elric: What do you think you’re doing?!
Lawrence: Eh?
Hikage: For goodness sake, you’ve gone too far with this prank. Wanting to know my true feelings? What are you playing at?
Lavan: Hm? What’s this?
Lugus: Seems like he changed into some other personality rather than become honest.
Hikage: ‘Personality’? I am me. No matter what happens, my essence will never change.
Lawrence: A medicine that can make people more honest... I see, it has this kind of effect too. Well, we’re celebrating today so it should be alright.
Hikage: There’s something I don’t really understand. From the start, you’ve been asking us about women.
Lavan: Is there a problem?
Hikage: Of course there is. I can’t believe you’re this trifling, asking these kind of questions after we drank the medicine.
Lugus: So you don’t have a woman you admire?
Hikage: As if-- Of course there’s someone like that... What- my mouth moved by itself!
Lawrence: I see~ I wonder what kind of woman she is~
Hikage: ... A person who likes sticking their nose in other people’s business. Her face is like an open book, but it’s also quite kind. No matter how hard I try to get rid of her, she always takes my hand, it moves me. I know I should find her annoying, but I can’t. She doesn’t do as I want her to, it’s irritating. But now she has a special place in my heart.
Lugus: I understand now, so this is what a ‘tsundere’ is.
Lavan: No, this is ‘tsuntsunderedere’.
Hikage: Hah! Say what you want, I’m not like you lot. I can contact her any time I want. You guys don’t even have smartphones? Heh.
Lugus: ... Hah?
Lavan: ‘Su-ma-ho’?
Lawrence: Hika- no, Elric, this city doesn’t have smartphones.
Hikage: What? Then... how do you guys communicate?
Lawrence: Hahaha, it seems like you three don’t many differences after all. Now then, I’ve always wanted to have this conversation, but it seems the medicine will wear off soon.
Lugus: What are you talking about- hgh!
Lavan: Hgh- again... the taste of mother’s tea...
Hikage/Elric: Gah-... huh...?
Lawrence: Well then, Elric, what’s the name of the girl you like?
Elric: Hah? What are you talking about? Love talk again? You really like this stuff, huh?
Lavan: ... Why is Lugus of all people drinking tea next to me?
Lugus: Those are my words. Don’t come close to me.
Lawrence: Hm... it looks like they’ve completely forgotten what they just said earlier.
Lavan: I’ll be excusing myself. It’s impossible to relax with this ill-mannered person beside me.
Lugus: I placed down my cup first, therefore I should be the first to leave.
Lavan: Screw you, I’m leaving.
Elric: Hah... still arguing. They just won’t give up, huh? Well, I’m gonna go look for Rabbit.
Lawrence: They’ve all left, hm? I saw something rather nostalgic, didn’t I? But what happened today will be a secret between you and I, alright? It would be wonderful if one day, everyone would be able to laugh about what happened today. Of course, whilst bathing under the sunlight, yes?
“TOMINO”
“TOMINO”
Tumblr media
Written By: Miyie 〴
(Disclaimer! Please do not read if you are someone who is easily disturbed, make sure you are over 13 to read this content may include violence, alcohol, abuse, and blood, Thank you!) This is not your typical horror genre, it truly describes real-life “horror.” I really wanted to bring out these situations, as there are many out there who suffer from these.) -Miyie 〴
It’s only imaginary, it’s something so forfeit, something you cannot deliberately see.
………...See, I once had this friend, it was only engraved in my mind, not necessarily sincere nor significant to me, someone that was so authentically cruel, but yet I followed…..
A bird caged-girl, as she started to plug her ears to block out the interphone chime, I am fighting with an enemy I couldn’t even see, even till the end I was leading myself to a truly unseemly thing. A leash clings on my neck, each step, each walk, each breath I took. I am always being watched by someone, something.
Who, you may ask? My imaginary friend. “And, it has been that way for years.”
“Free me, lift me from my guilt.” If it were only so simple.
1/2/1981
Ever since the day I was born into this world, I have always been those principles of innocence, my mother, my father always checked up on me to make sure I wasn’t doing anything bad and they would always find me quite strange for a child. You see, I was always talking to the wall, in the same position. “Look! Mommy, isn’t he nice?” Yes. Tomino loved me deeply, there was no doubt, but you see, this love was a strange one and cannot be explained. “Sure, whatever you say, Hika.” She leaned down and pet me on the head. Of course to her extent, mother would never believe such nonsense...I always thought Tomino was there, someone everyone else could also see…...
Not just me.
…...
2/18/1988
One day as my mother was going out to head for groceries, I stopped her, no Tomino stopped her, he
told me to.
“Please just don’t go today, I would like you to just stay with me.”
  The day after, it was reported, documented on the news of an incident that happened to be the same street my mother was just going to head to, xxx street of Zemark, a shooting happening between two drunk white men, about 12 people had either died that day, 9 injured within that store. These sorts of incidents would occur several times after then on any random day. “That excuse again?” Tomino this, Tomino that.” Mother would often say to me out of frustration. She couldn’t understand why her daughter was acting this certain way after all.
Was I really that childish or…. Did I speak the truth?
But, you see, such kindness comes with a price.
A promise that was forged.
I spend the days with Tomino, we play together, talk together for hours, I drew and wrote on his requests, but one day, it seems he has gotten quite bored of my childish acts and lingers for a little more fun and excitement. He threw my painting on the floor in anger, “So what do you want me to do then?”I asked. I wished I didn’t have asked, maybe then I wouldn’t need to do whatever he said..…. It was a little dark outside for a spring season while taking multiple glances towards outside the window. He told me to “Go outside and stab this helpless squirrel with a kitchen knife, smear its blood around in a circle on this painting, and to finally make a box around it in the sand with a stick.” When I declined, he would get mad at me and would not talk to me for hours, doesn’t help me anymore, so I did it, I obeyed him like a dog.
Mother tried ever since, to cure me of this disease, this illness. She looked for any doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc. “Your child is perfectly healthy,” they said. Not even the best professionals figured it out. Tomino was always mischievous, mysterious, secretive, smart about where he moves each of his pawns. To him, this was no more than just a game.
My father abandoned me because of this, well partly. He cheated on her, secretly, but it was funny since father still had this small affection for mom, so instead, he told her a white lie. I knew all along because Tomino tells me about these things.
I was only left with my mother. “Why me?” Why can’t I have a normal child?,” I would often hear mother mumble under her breath. My mother was no longer the kind mother I knew. It wasn’t a surprise she has become an alcoholic soon after.
“What are you looking at? You pathetic little brat, this is all your fault!”, mother said.
“I REALLY HATE THE SMELL OF ALCOHOL.”, I screamed at her.
Miza peered in on us in the corner, she came to my house for the project.
I knew,.... She knew.
……….
Tomino would often come to comfort me when I cry, although sometimes he is upset himself and never comes, he said it wasn’t my fault. “It was Okaa-san’s fault for not understanding us enough.”
School was no different.
“No wonder her parents abandoned her..”
“What a spoiled child.”
“Ewww, stay away from me….”
“Manipulative bi**”
“This is all your fault!”
I have always given in the efforts to redeem myself, but they were all main just seen as an unless waste of time.
“I’m not your friend anymore! How could you do such a thing?”
Wait- KI! Wha-what about you Miza, are you going to leave me too?, I asked. Deliberately.
She looked at me sadly but she said nothing “...........”, as she just walked alongside her other friend.
I was always the one left out. It wasn’t my fault, was it?
I had to transfer to many different schools after then.
“Ugh, isn’t that disgusting woman her mother?”
“Why would you raise such a slut?”
It always ended terribly.
Tears were wiped with sleeves. I weep.
So then...
9/16/1990
Mother became even more so tired of all this as each day passed by. She dressed up, packed up. Slammed the door on me.
Unknown: “Wait! What about-!”
She left me…...
 “I don’t need her anymore, I should’ve never given birth to you.”
“Don’t leave me, I promise I will do all my chores, I would never cause you any more trouble ever again, please mother!”, I layed on the floor, begging.
But, that was the last sentence mother said to me, the last she spoke to me, the last time I saw her.
“Ojii-san, Do you think it's my fault?”
Unknown: “It’s going to be okay, Hika, come with me.”
….
Years passed then, it was hard to believe.
“Hika, breakfast is ready!” “Coming Okaa-  Ojii-san!”
“What a weird grandchild I have.”   “hahaha, Ojii-san that’s mean!”  “Come eat, child.”
“Itadakimasu!”   If you couldn’t tell already, living with my uncle was nice and comforting, for once.
“Okay, I’m off, see you Ojii-san!”
It was only us two that lived together now after dad had left us and mother had disappeared off to somewhere. Ojii-san was the only person I have now, although he is growing quite old as days pass by.
Thing was, we are tight on money. Ojii-san tries his best to reassure me and tells me to just focus on my studies but I know about our financial problems.
The only other major reason why we had food left on our plate was that “Tomino” still exists, he protects me, this was part of our agreement. I thought for sure Tomino would get bored of me soon when I grew older, but he stayed and waited for the promise we made till the very end. It seems like Tomino never really ages and he just stays the same size every day even after years. Things just stayed the same.
Tomino grants my wishes. But, that’s it….
….
11/7/1994
I walked between pebbles, between bridges, and on bridges. Tomino follows me wherever I go. It's like he’s a stalker, but I'm used to it. "I'm fine today, Tomino, how are you? You know, I know you're there..." "Yes, whatever you say.", he replied. He raised strange doubts when I was a child, but I loved him. It was my friend after all. He was the only person who knew me well. Tomino seems to look old these days, but not so deeply.He still seems to have stayed the same even after years.
As my walk almost reached my destination, I was in the middle of walking passed the archway of the two buildings as a shortcut followed by my upperclassmen.
"Ah, isn't that Hika Normanashi?"
Please, keep in mind that……..Nobody really knows my surname. It was a secret because of family issues. Tomino also knows. And since then I haven't trusted enough people to tell them anything. It wasn’t particularly very nice to see someone expose my surname.
I felt a hand grabbed me by my wrist as they proceeded to push me against the wall as the dude kept mocking my body.
Girl 2: "Hey, knucklehead! This is it! I brought over her here."
Unknown: “This little one doesn’t seem to scream much so it’s fine boss.”
As they threw me onto the ground below them, Grabbing me and pushing my head against the wall.
"S-STOP IT! RELEASE ME!"
Girl 1: "Hey, so what are you going to do? Get your boyfriend to protect you or something?"
“……… ..!”
"Wait! Tomino, don't!"
Soon, the blood of two young girls spilled under me, on the concrete under my feet. I was soaked in blood. The young man looked at me in shock of fear as if I were the murderer.
"Y-YOU MONSTER!", he screamed.
I looked down at my bloody shaking hands. The knife Tomino has given me…...
The young man tried to resist me as much as possible, but Tomino also fled before him and overwhelmed over him. I knew exactly what Tomino wanted me to do. Through the man’s eyes, I could see what it felt like to die, the terror. "Sorry, but you’ll have to die for me, it'll be fast, I promise." I closed my eyes. I took a breath. I wondered how just how many more people do I need to kill? There was no point in arguing with Tomino. This is his identity. I’m sorry Ojii-san………. The next thing I saw when I opened my eyes were two stranded dead bodies tied onto the tracks, two trains which ran at full speed in seconds over them. The man's body was specially cutaway where the organs were visible, but Tomino did not kill him yet. It can be said that Tomino threw him most. I knew about this, the way this guy died was exactly the same as a few years ago. "........ First, a small lead ball creates a large, deep bruise and breaks on subsequent hits. Finally, the skin on the back hangs on a long ribbon and the entire area If the prisoner determines that the prisoner is dying, an unrecognizable chunk, the strike will be stopped. "
I know I'm a murderer ... my feet move suddenly. But in the wrong direction. I could not stop sitting on my lap on the lawn and staring at the dead man.
His face stared at me and wanted to return, in hopes of revenge, I knew deeply.
But, Tomino doesn’t.
No matter how many following attempts there were, Tomino always got away with it, dragging me along. When the news of these three students was blankly announced, the whole classroom began to place the blame on me. No one dared to approach me after that. I was invisible. It was an inevitable fate.
I couldn’t bring myself to believe my fate.
I couldn’t bring myself to believe Tomino was so cruel.
I couldn’t bring myself to bear this anymore. I only have hidden the truth. I knew what he meant, by those silent words.
I planned my defeat. If order to win,
You must lose.
To bring illusion to reality, how do you do that exactly?
How can you eliminate something you loved so much in the world?
Without a doubt, I am always attached to Tomino, I believed there was always loyalty that has existed between us.
Tomino made me feel emotions, of all kinds.
The emotion of being valued, the emotion of being appreciated, and emotions of hatred.
It was only that I could never tell what his objective was, nor who he was anymore. I cannot recognize him. I cannot be an attachment. I cannot be the one to ‘change’ him. We are like the strings of, the lines, the blinds between the lies. I cannot be there for him, I must stay away father always told me.
“One day, he would ruin you. Do not be fooled easily, do not be influenced by terrible people easily. Keep that in mind, Hika. ”
…..
Friend, a person whom one knows, likes, or trusts.
Was there ever trust that has enveloped in this relationship.
“Let’s stay togeth-er forever, Tomino.”
smiles*
Hey…..., that warm smile you gave me just there…..
Was that a lie…. Or was that the truth?
Was it a sad one or was that a happy one?
Call me an idiot, although I always have the ability to read people’s expressions…..
 I could never tell Tomino’s.
I have never thought this day would come.
I have always thought, it was the truth.
How could he speak so falsely?
What did you mean exactly?
….
12/24/1995
“I’ve grown tired of you, Tomino.” , I’ve had enough.
“Kill me, how are you going to kill me?” Tomino mocked me.
” I’m sorry, Tomino.”
And within that, the only thing that can convince us of their love for each other is the truth.
“I cannot ever get rid of you until I die, right? I wish you the best in the afterlife ...really.”
5/22/1985
I remembered the day we met,
The garden was so beautiful, the pond filled with koi fish were so lovely, the flowers were all so pretty, the bridge above it was so clean, but it was all so lonely. I sat there walking and running around playing by myself until I grew tired. Where you came into existence ever since. Then, we would always be together. Where he was always quiet and kept to himself, but I didn’t mind.
 “Ne-ne! Tomoi-no!.....”  “Hi-ka!”(learned each other’s names) I wrote down both of our names and embraced it with a heart, the poor boy seemed so flustered for some reason.
“Promise me that you would always stay by my side, never leave me, alright?” He seemed hesitant at first but then offered me his pinky.
 But that wasn’t the promise, Tomino hid the truth, he wanted much more. He just wanted to take my white soul.
Thank you for your company. Your kindness, no one can pretend. The flowers were never too strong to sustain itself, and the petals would eventually overtime fade out. The grass are cut away little by little by the humans because they hate how it was. The trees are brought down by the people in order to feed them. But, these were all often done without anything in return. I didn’t want to leave because I have faith in Tomino, but that would be selfish to say that, that was the only reason why I have lived. I wished I hadn’t agreed upon our promise.  I don’t want to stay, because it would mean I would still have to call Tomino a friend.
“I have more than once tried to deceive you, but you will feel that I am now speaking falsely,” Tomino said.
 Tomino could never touch me because he isn’t real and because he cannot touch me, he cannot stop me. I wanted to cry, but nothing came out.
 12/24/1995
I feel the breath of life taken away from me by the multitude.
It was getting harder and harder to breathe as each second progresses. I have always tried to kill myself before. Standing at the edge….. I was a coward I could never face death.
“Why? All you have to do is just to “jump”? It’ll all be over, right?”
  But, one day I found myself hung.. “I’m sorry.”
And then, everything just blacked out. The man in black disappeared, everything disappeared. There was no “Tomino”. There was just a little boy, all alone forced to carry out his duty.
“Goodbye ..old friend”
“goodbye,'' he once said.
I could almost hear him saying in response...
12/25/1994
A woman in a black dress came to settle down a few white flowers as she prayed her hands together, she spoke only three words…..,
“I love you.”
….
And soon,
 a few more and more,
 flowers were placed.
“Happy birthday, Hika.” , Tomino smiled.
“Here’s your present!”, as the young boy cheerfully places down a small box with a little teddy bear sitting on top.
=//[For anyone confused]// “TOMINO” is her teddy bear, a stuffed animal^^
Well? Where’d do you think Hika has gotten her present from[Teddy Bear]?
Chocolate Seashell Ch 8 Preview
Because it’s a WIP and I see @icephysics95 / @hylianhick being active on Tumblr and, to put it bluntly, “I hope Senpai notices me!” Because it’s been months and my anxiety makes me swirl in place, thinking you don’t see these things.
For everyone else? I’ll just say I’ve had a long and meh-to-near-shitty past few days irl when it comes to work. So, fluff. Based on the first times I hugged Leo and the many times I wake up my dad from his naps.
Also, @wingbladeweaver1357 and @fangoverdang, here’s something for you two. Wing-chan, I know you’ve seen this a bit already, but you’ve helped me out in the last few days and I’m grateful.
An honorary mention to you too, @langwrites and @owlsofstarlight, because you two ground me.
Onto writing previews!
------------------------------------------------------------
Shinsō shoulders his school bag and walks over to the door, making sure not to bump Iida’s shoulder on the way to wait. Iida’s looking at him, wordlessly gaping and chopping his hands as usual, but Shinsō can’t really find it in himself to care. He’s a good class rep, but some things you just don’t question.
It doesn’t even take a second for blue eyes to peek out from around the hallway corner and then spot him.
A high-pitched “Hitoshi-kuuuuuuun!” echoes through the hallway and Shinsō hides a smirk. The blue hair ribbons are obvious even from a distance. The small petite figure closes in with the sound of shoes hitting the tile floors, and it’s obvious Hoshino is running. She looks out of breath, still carrying her own school bag, but she’s smiling at him and her blue eyes are still bright. “Hitoshi-kun!”
“Hey, Tomoko,” he says, and he doesn’t even hesitate to open his arms as soon as she’s a meter away. This was a routine at this point. Screw onlookers, they were going to figure it out sooner or later. Even if he would regret the possibility of Ashido and the other girls hounding him on this kind of thing. But wait. She’s running too fast. Oh no. “Wait a second, Tomoko, slow down—”
“Oh god,” Midoriya says faintly behind him.
Iida’s yelling frantically, saying a loud, “No running in the hallways, Hoshino-kun—”
“Taaaaaaaaah!” is the happy squeal-kind-of-noise leaving her lips and then Tomoko is jumping and barreling into Shinsō’s chest in a tackle hug. Yep. He was too late. Everyone was way too late. Shinsō holds back the urge to groan, squeezing her anyways while twirling on his feet to try working off the momentum. Tomoko’s giggling into his school blazer and cuddling him, and he’s tempted to blush if not for the aching in his ribs representative of all of Hoshino’s unintended force. “I found you, beloved friend! Hello!”
“Yes, yes, you did,” Shinsō mutters tiredly into her hair, and he breathes in the rosemary scent that is Hoshino before tapping the top of her head with the back of his free hand. Still soft. “Hello to you too. But do you have to tackle me every single time?”
Tomoko pulls back as if slapped, and there’s a kicked-puppy look in her blue eyes. “Uh,” she says, caught off-guard, “if you don’t like it, I can stop?”
Shinsō sighs and pets the top of her hair. “I didn’t say I didn’t like it, Hoshino. Just ease up on the running, okay? Davy would have a heart attack if something happened to you.”
He leaves out the thought of, I’d be worried too.
“It is also against school regulations to run in the hallways, Hoshino-kun!” Iida hotly interrupts, and Shinsō pretends to be invisible so Tomoko can notice him instead. “You may have a wonderful relationship with Shinsō-kun—”
“It wasn’t intentional—” Shinsō decides to add sarcastically.
Iida continues, unabated with his usual hand chops. “But you could risk danger to others around you!”
Still. The smile is back on Tomoko’s face as she nods, albeit sheepish in Iida’s direction, raising her hand to salute to Shinsō and him. The gesture merely signified her energy coming back in full swing. “Aye aye, Cap’n Shinsō, Lieutenant Iida!” she chirps. “Roger that!”
“L—” Iida’s thrown off guard. “Lieutenant? Not Class Rep?”
“I-I mean, Iida-san is Class 2-A’s Rep! I’m in 1-C!”
“Ohhhh,” Midoriya says quietly. “That explains things.”
Shinsō holds back an amused scoff just in time for Kei and Davy to approach. “Doofus. Be more observant.”
“Eh—”
“My baby sis!” Davy coos loudly, and Tomoko has no chance to react before he’s swooping her into his arms from behind, pressing his cheek into her hair and snuggling her. Shinsō actively backs up to give the adoptive siblings space. “This is where you ran off to!”
“N-Nii! Too tight, too tight!” Tomo’s cheeks flush a light red from the close proximity and the surprise, resulting in Kei chuckling as soon as she flanks Shinsō’s side, looking on with fondness in her black eyes. “K-Kei-chan, help!”
“Nope,” Kei says simply, wearing a not-so-nice smile. Wow. “I’ll stay with Hitoshi-kun over here, Tomo.” Without skipping a beat, she glances behind her to wave at the others. “Hi, Midoriya-san, Uraraka-chan, Iida-san, Hikari-chan.”
Leonhart lets out a laugh, getting up from her seat as soon as Midoriya is glancing between Davy and Tomoko in shock. “Hey, Kei! Ready for lunch?” The question was short, but it still was marked by how Iida looked caught between intervening and staring himself while Uraraka hummed, going along with the situation.
“Just about,” Kei shares a glance with Shinsō and he rubs his neck. “Give it a minute.” Meanwhile the hug?
It was ongoing. Going way past a minute. Somehow. Shinsō couldn’t help but wonder what kind of house Tomoko grew up in considering who was hanging onto her with a death grip. And this was the guy with the quirk that made him both “Unkillable” and “Extremely Unlucky.” Anyone would die in his position at any second, and yet he was choosing to spend his time cuddling a certain someone who would give cuddles to everyone else. At least, that’s how the scene looked to Shinsō.
“Tomo-chan, don’t just run off without Nii! Nii needs you around too, y’know!” Davy’s still cooing and Tomoko’s still blushing. “Hugs are a family thing!”
“B-But,” Tomoko’s spluttering now, huh, her hands are waving in the air, when did they start doing that? “H-Hitoshi-kun and Kei-chan are family too, Nii! Along with Hika-chan, Ochako-chan, and people in my class, and hugs are great! I don’t—” there’s another squeeze and she squeaks out in a nervous high-pitch, “see what’s the problem!?” Davy’s squeezing her tighter now. “Eep!”
Shinsō does his best to hide the happy blush at the whole “family” thing and shoots a glare at Kei once he starts hearing her snickering. Kei merely sticks her tongue out at him.
“Should we…” Midoriya fumbles, raising a shaky pointer finger to the two siblings, “should we stop them?”
Kei and Shinsō share a glance before shrugging. “Nah,” they say in unison.
“Why can’t I take your attention sometimes!?” Davy’s actually starting to tear up. How. “You are growing up so fast, Tomo-chan! I miss you as a little girl! My favorite baby sis!” He’s still hugging her, even with the obvious rain starting to drip down onto said little sis’s head. “Why can’t there be a time machine…?”
Tomoko in question is still pink and starting to squirm. “I-It was going to happen one day? And time machines don’t exist! You still see me in school, Nii! Even with the dorms!” It takes a single moment for her to reconsider her words. “A-And I think I was your only baby sis for the first few years… or something.”
Uraraka is the first one to break out laughing. “Sh-Should we all just — pffft — go to lunch together?”
Shinsō freezes, but it’s only for a second because Kei claps a comforting hand on his shoulder and Tomoko is finally away from her clingy upperclassman of a big brother, no thanks to a careful push. “S-Sure?” Tomoko’s voice cracks, but it’s really from the sudden offer than anything else. “That’s fine? It’ll be a big crowd, so we’ll have to find a table fast?”
“Then let us be off, Hoshino-kun!” Iida declares, and Midoriya smiles in time with Tomoko’s shy giggle. “Former Emergency Exit Iida Tenya shall escort you!”
What.
Yep. Shinsō doesn’t know what to make of it, but Kei is still around and Leonhart’s suddenly flanking him now too. “C’mon, Purple Troll,” Hikari muses, grabbing his right arm, “let’s get you a social life!”
“I already had one—”
Kei chuckles. “That doesn’t stop you from learning more.”
Shinsō sighs. He still wasn’t expecting the next moment.
“Oh! Wait a second!”
Iida starts in the middle of his march to the cafeteria. “Hoshino-kun?”
“Give me a minute, everybody.” Tomoko jumps and everyone turns to look at her as she proceeds to run into the 2-A classroom of all things, ducking behind the front desk to kneel towards the head of a familiar yellow sleeping bag. She pokes the bag gently. “Aizawa-sensei?”
There’s a grumble.
Midoriya and Iida both look like they’re close to panicking with the nervous and serious faces they were wearing, but Shinsō watches out of curiosity. Tomoko reaches over to gently pat the head area of the sleeping bag this time with her free hand while clutching her school bag, whispering her words. It was almost like she was used to this. “Aizawa-sensei, could I see you for a second? I want to give something to you, and you can sleep as much as you want after this.”
A pause. Then, to the shock of everyone except Kei, Leonhart, and Shinsō, the zipper in the front of the bag comes down and Sensei’s grimacing, rubbing one of his eyes. Even though he was sleeping a few seconds ago, the nap made it look like he came out of a dungeon with the dark bags lining his eyes. “Make it quick. I’m tired.” The red eyes symbolizing Eraserhead stares Tomoko down in anything but tired resignation. “What is it, Hoshino?”
Tomoko smiles and proceeds to pull out a small bundle of what looked like cookies from her bag, setting them down near Aizawa’s nose. “Sweets for you as thanks for letting me see Hitoshi-kun’s training session the other day, Sensei,” she says in the same whisper, slowly getting to her feet while still smiling. “They’re cat-shaped and have plenty of chocolate chips and almonds.”
Aizawa goes cross-eyed at the bundle in front of him. “…Is it dark chocolate?”
The Chocolate Fairy nods. “Made just for you, Sensei.” She rocks back and forth on the balls of her feet, hugging her school bag while nudging the gift closer to him with her free hand. “Feel free to share them with Mic-sensei if you want.”
“Ohmigod,” Davy says faintly. “So cute… my baby sis, caring for people!”
Shinsō can’t help but give him a look. “What are you, her brother or her dad?”
“I can be both!”
“Does that make Kei and I the big sisters?” Leonhart adds her three cents. Wow.
“You two quiet down!” Iida interrupts, still watching the scene from the doorway.
“Hm,” Aizawa says finally and then a lanky arm reaches out of his sleeping bag to take the gift, making it disappear into the yellow sleeping bag with him before the zipper goes all the way up to cover his face. “…Get to lunch, Hoshino.”
Tomoko giggles. “Aye aye. Have a nice nap, Sensei.”
Everyone was still staring once she trotted over to return. Silence was a good way of approximating what was said in that moment.
Tomoko blinks, but is barely fazed, merely inclining her head. “Eh? Why are you all looking at me like that?”
Yep. The Chocolate Fairy is still oblivious.
Uraraka coos and reaches over to wrap her arms around Tomoko’s shoulders. “Never change, Tomo-chan.”
“Eh? Eh?”
For once, Shinsō could see everyone else in the group agree without needing him to voice it too.
Chapter Thirty Six
Poll Result: Hikaru Note: contains nsfw themes
He froze in place, in mid-step, just as he was entering to ask Takashi where Haruhi had run off to last night. He and Kaoru thought she’d wait in their apartment, they had kept it unlocked for her, thinking she’d know to wait inside until they were sober enough to walk home. They didn’t plan on being out that late. They didn’t know she had left the party until hours later when they remembered she promised them a dance. They didn’t know what happened to her…
Hikaru knew now.
Every detail of their night was on display for him to piece together; the empty beer bottles left on his table, her clothes carelessly thrown across his floor, the bed sheets being the only thing covering their shame.
Haruhi reached out to him, eyes pleading for his understanding, “Hikaru-”
“You whore!” He shouted, tears welling in his furious eyes.
Haruhi tried to say something, anything, but Hikaru didn’t want to hear it. He wouldn’t hear it. There was nothing she could say that could calm him down now. How could he find comfort in the very thing tearing him apart?
There was only one thing he knew to do. He turned and ran. He heard Haruhi’s voice calling after him but she sounded far away, so very far away.
.
Tamaki stirred a cube of sugar into his tea as he settled into Kyoya’s loveseat, patiently waiting for the others to filter in. Hikaru’s distress forced Kyoya to call a meeting in his apartment, once their livid calmed down of course. That gave Haruhi and Takashi time to get dressed and last night’s party goers to take a pain reliever for their hangovers.
Hikaru and Kaoru sat cross-legged on the floor with Kyoya seated on his knees beside them, pouring more tea into their cups.
“Drink this, it’ll help with your headache.” He advised, pushing the cups towards the twins.
Hikaru reluctantly accepted the cup and took a small sip, not really wanting tea but his headache said otherwise. He noticed someone entering and looked up to see Haruhi and Takashi timidly walking in.
“Oh good, you’re dressed.” Hikaru scoffed.
Although Haruhi didn’t regret her night with Takashi she did regret letting Hikaru find them as he did. She didn’t want anyone to see them, not yet, not until they figured out what this meant for her and Takashi.
She truly sympathised with him, knowing what he saw must have pained him,“Hika-”
Hikaru shot his hand up, stopping her, “Please… not yet.” His sad eyes looked into his tea, “Later Haruhi… we’ll talk later. Please.”
She chewed on her cheek but nodded, respecting his need for space. At least he was willing to talk, she could be thankful for that.
Haruhi and Takahis took their seats next to Mitsukuni on the floor across from the twins.
Kyoya cleared his throat, “Thank you for accepting my invitation to meet. I think it’s fair to say we’re all aware of the new development,” he skeptically looked between Haruhi and Takashi, “and I think we should discuss it.”
“What is there to discuss? They’re fucking.” Hikaru grumbled.
Kyoya snapped his fingers at Hikaru, “None of that please. We’re adults and we’re going to discuss this like adults.” He turned his attention to the two in question, “I thought our agreement was for you to be in a pretend engagement. Has something changed since our last conversation?”
“Engaged?” Kaoru asked. This the first he heard of this and looking around the room he realized he wasn’t the only one. Everyone was confused as well.
Haruhi sighed “We agreed to help Kyoya and Tamaki by lying about an engagement.”
Kaoru felt even more confused, “To help Kyoya and Tamaki? What? How would that help them?
“How does sleeping together help them?” Hikaru angrily added.
Kyoya took a deep breath and reached for Tamaki’s hand, squeezing his fingers before speaking, “Tamaki and I have been in a relationship for the past two years.”
Hikaru and Kaoru nearly spit out their tea, jerking back as they stared at where they held hands.
“You’re kidding,” Hikaru gulped, punching his chest to help the tea go down.
Tamaki shook his head and smiled at Kyoya, “We’ve been wanting to tell you for a while but we weren’t sure how to say it.”
Mitsukuni calmly sipped his tea and asked, “I knew you were together for a while now, it’s hard to keep secrets from these eyes,” he pointed to his happy eyes, “but I always wanted to know, what made you get together?”
“Did you see Haruhi and Takashi getting together?” Hikaru angrily grumbled to himself. Kaoru elbowed him in the side, shushing him.
Kyoya smiled, “It was after the academy’s graduation. Tamaki and I spent the night together before our ceremony to discuss last minute party details. He wanted to order more roses but I convinced him the lilies were enough. He began to sulk and called me a cheap devil and I said he was a fool over his head. Next thing I knew, I kissed him.”
Tamaki chuckled, “He really surprised me but I didn’t hate it… I kissed him back.”
“You kissed him back…” Haruhi repeated to herself, quickly glancing at Takashi beside her.
Kyoya let go of Tamaki’s hand and draped his arm over his shoulder, “There’s a fine line between love and hate and that night I experienced what that saying means. I thought I tolerated this fool for my father’s sake but… he was under my skin for a different reason…”
Tamaki leaned into his side and laughed, “He was in love with me the whole time and never knew it.”
Kyoya swatted his shoulder, “You were in love with me too, idiot. Don’t forget who confessed their love first.”
Mitsukuni squeezed his Usa-chan to his chest, “I’m so happy for you two!”
“So…” Hikaru started quietly, “What does your relationship have to do with Haruhi and Takashi hooking up?”
“Kyoya’s father wanted me as a potential bride,” Haruhi answered quickly, “If I was ‘engaged’ to someone then I wouldn’t be an option anymore. Everything else… is none of your business.”
“It’s not our business but it’s certainly surprising.” Kyoya admitted. “I thought you two were pretending but have I been proven wrong?”
Haruhi grabbed Takashi’s hand, needing to feel him as she thought, “We got drunk last night.”
Hikaru chortled, “That’s your excuse? You got drunk? Hell, we were drunk last night too but none of us had a one night stand!”
Tamaki smiled, “Well…”
“Oh my gosh, did you all have sex last night?” Hikaru asked, throwing his hands up, “What the fuck? You can’t blame alcohol on that! I’ve been drunk before and I never wanted to fuck my friends!”
Takashi raised a hand, silently asking Hikaru to calm down, his eyes steeled in his loss for patience. He understood Hikaru’s anger but he wouldn’t let him talk down to him or Haruhi. He knew Hikaru saw him as a vandal, a person who stole what wasn’t his to take, but he couldn’t steal what was offered to him.
Tamaki nervously cleared his throat, “Well alcohol can be very persuasive, you know well Kyoya. Just last month he got drunk and told me he wanted to get married! I don’t know if that could count as a proposal or-”
“You’re right,” Haruhi didn’t mean to interrupt her friend but she was so lost in thought she didn’t hear him talking, “Alcohol isn’t an excuse but… it did help me realize something.” She reached for Takashi’s hand and entwined her fingers between his. “I realized… my feelings.”
Hikaru rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, “That’s a pretty extreme way to realize your feelings.”
“Wait,” Mitsukuni chimed in, “Kyo-chan, Tama-chan, are you really getting married?”
Tamaki and Kyoya looked at each other. Kyoya nodded and Tamaki smiled wide, happily announcing, “In the spring.”
Hikaru stood to his feet, “This is too much for me. This is a lot to process. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for you two, I just need a minute.” With that he quickly stepped over Mitsukuni and walked out.
“I’m sorry guys, I’ll talk to him.” Kaoru said as he stood too, "Cogratulations senpais, I'm really happy for you." he offered a smile before following after his brother.
“I think Mori-senpai and I should talk in private too…” Haruhi said, squeezing his hand.
Takashi nodded, “We do.”
Kyoya sighed and began collecting the twins’ tea cups, “That’s probably a good idea. You go on ahead then.”
Mitsukuni looked between his cousin, Kyoya, and the door, wondering how their morning had taken such a turn. He sighed, also wondering if he could help.
Which conversation does Mitsukuni join? - Vote Here (poll will close by 4:00pm ETS)
Next chapter update should be up by 6:00pm (ETS)
As promised, I included some TamaKyo fluff. I apologize that it's been sandwiched between the drama but with the already established tension it was hard to ignore the elephant in the room.
