Truth be told, there were parts of him that didn’t want to attend the potion party, despite how much hype it’d received. Normally, it would’ve been everything he wanted and a little more, but the attack had changed his perspective. The last time he’d went out for drinks, he’d been dosed with wolfsbane. With the party’s guests being of all species, Jack felt a little more comfortable in a room full of people, some of which he was more than a little familiar with. “If I say I’m into this whole look, what are the odds you’ll hit me?” Nights like this one was meant for harmless fun and if letting his guard down meant having a somewhat decent time, he’d at least give it a fair chance. “Wasn’t really sure if this was your thing or not. Halfway thought you’d be somewhere thinking about that art gallery and just where you’d keep the water bowls,” he grinned, already feeling better than he had before getting there.

There was a couple of people that Logan certainly owed an apology to and number one on that list was Emily. Not only had she saved her, but Logan had disobeyed her and constantly disregarded her during the fight with Ilana. Wanting to apologize to Emily in the only way she knew how, she’d made a special gift for her. Putting it in her jacket pocket as she walked up the stairs to Emily’s apartment, she knocked on the door softly. Waiting for the vampire to answer, she gave her a sweet smile. “I know you probably don’t want to see me, but I owe you an apology.” She explained, she pulled the tiny box out of her pocket. “I also come with gifts.” Holding it out to her with both of her hands underneath it as she presented it to her.

I can’t believe you found a way to work plaid into the theme, it’s fucking amazing.” She dropped into a chair next to Emily and took her glass of water from the bartender gratefully. “What are you doing hiding over here when you should be partying it up! Eat, drink, be merry! There is more to tonight than just avoiding people. I will drag you away from here if I have to.”

Her new roommate had offered to help, but it wasn’t like anything was heavy with super strength so Ryan had just told her to wait. “Okay, that’s the last of it. So now it’s official roomie!” To be honest, Ryan hadn’t been sure what to expect from a random roommate wanted ad, but finding out that Emily was a vampire was a total plus. It was a real pain to hide her shifts from roommates who were human and couldn’t know about the whole.... being a werewolf thing. “Now I have a serious, and possibly offensive question. Will my period be an issue?”
