From now on precise me if you want an ex member in or not since a lot of group gain fame recently even tho they debuted long ago and not anybody got the occasion to stan them before

if you don’t tell me anything I will just put them with this “mark” || If you tell me you want them I will normally put them || if you tell me you don’t want them I will exclude them || if you tell me after the post you didn’t wanted them within one week I will redo the most to least without them for more accuracy || if you tell me one week or more after I will just delete the member from the most to least ||

How to do this? Ex: You want G-Idle but you stanned them only after Soojin departure? G-Idle ot5 in the other way you want Soojin in ? G-Idle ot6

Preferably I’ll not do groups that disbanded too fast after debuting like X1 or members that left too close to the debut like Garam Lesserafim and this has nothing to do with her innocence or not since everybody thinks differently I just think nobody had time to get to know them and I don’t really wanna put time in it neither as a group or member of that group but rather as a soloist if they debuted like that then (Jinni Nmixx even tho she was my bias can be put in that category too as well as Hyuna in any group she was in since she’s now more known as a soloist, I still accept her tho)

Finally don’t ask me for Red Velvet without Yeri, EXO without Chen or Ikon without Bobby cause even if it’s your right you’ll not be welcome on my blog and I risk to proceed really slowly to your request

It actually seemed like he jumped into the relationship with her and later began to worry about his career (like love before his money)

Continuing my tripping and falling into following Pentagon closely several years late, thanks this time to more recommendations from @jinhogwarts (I hope that you don’t mind me continuing to do these as posts, it’s helping me track my enjoyment of their music):

@shadowetienne alright i'm up!! i'll try to give recommendations i think you'll like, sorry if i repeat something you already know or been recommended haha. more rockish songs - spring snow, dr. bebe, basquiat, one shot, spectacular, skateboard, lost paradise, their very good performance from road to kingdom, that's me, call my name, and their unit song (yuto kino wooseok) cerberus. not recommending daisy because i saw you already said you love it :)

@shadowetienne ran out of space lol so more ballad-y/vocal based songs: sparkling night, boy in time (hui solo), beautiful goodbye, nostalgia, someday (jinho x hui duet), camellia, til..., when it rains in night, off-road, nothing i can do, think about you, violet, stay, it's over, when i was in love, to universe, thank you (jinho x hui duet), pentagon, you are. also highly recommend looking up hui's solo songs from the show "breakers", especially navigation and for you

Spring Snow

Dr. Bebe

I’m more likely to be already familiar with their title tracks, but I really like Dr. Bebe! It’s sort of in the same genre of their songs as Daisy in my head (and my best friend’s favorite Pentagon song, so I hear it pretty often). Excellent chorus!

Basquiat

This is incredible! I love the anthemic with harmonies thing they’ve got going on here. And the part where almost all the background drops out is flawless! Yes more of this please! I’d never heard this before, so I’ve been missing out for like 2 years. Only thing about this song I don’t like is the lack of Yannan.

One Shot

This was while Hui was doing his military service yes? I’m feeling the lack of his voice in this song, but I still like it a lot. Interesting use of call and response throughout. They created a really interesting audioscape with this.

Spectacular

I’m torn on this one. We’ve hit another, rap brings it down one for me, especially because what I’ve been discovering is that E’dawn’s style is not for me (I kind of already knew this prior to this deep dive). I love Hui’s parts especially, and all of my vocal set that I’ve apparently latched on to (Hui, Yannan, Yeo One, Hongseok). But the rap sections kind of lower my enjoyment of the song.

Skateboard

There are parts of this I like OK, but I think that it’s just not my mix of background sounds. It’s catchy. I like Hui, Hongseok, and Yeo One’s voices a lot (we’ve established this). It’s also missing Yannan in songs hours apparently.

Lost Paradise

I appreciate this for what it is, really like Hui’s parts. I’m not sure how I feel about the vocal quality that Wooseok is using here. This is a place where I appreciate Yuto’s rapping more. I think that it’s not quite my singing/rapping balance. It’s an interesting song though. I almost really like it. The low chanting part from Yuto is cool.

That’s Me

This is fun and catchy. It’s not quite in my zone of “yes this I will listen to this a ton” but it’s really well made and fun. I can definitely see this being an ear worm too.

Call My Name

I really like Yannan’s parts in this, and very much like Yeo One and Hongseok’s. It’s got a good groove going on, and the entire song flows well together. It’s missing Hui’s voice hours for me though (he’s got my absolute favorite voice in the group). Very good song though!

Cerberus

MV has gunshots, don’t do well with gunshots (sometimes they can be worked in subtly in a way that doesn’t make me flinch). I’m not much a fan of the stuff that leans heavily rap, so didn’t go find a different version to see if it doesn’t have the gunshots.

Sparkling Night

Missing Hui’s voice hours, but my other three favorite voices in the group are lovely here, and I like the overall soothing, soft, sweet sound of this. It’s lovely!

Boy in Time (Hui solo)

His voice is so beautiful. While I don’t on average like solo songs as much (vocal harmony and interplay is something I really love), this is delightful to me, and I am really enjoying the mournful bittersweet element of it. He really gets to show how rich and beautiful his voice is and I am here for it.

Beautiful Goodbye

Reviewed in the post linked above, but I love it.

Nostalgia

This is really catchy and easy to listen to. It does feel like there’s something missing to the build up of the song, but it feels like it would be an excellent part of an album listening experience.

Someday (Jinho and Hui)

I think that this delicate/gentle placement that Jinho is using is my favorite place in his voice in terms of vocal flavor. It’s a lovely contrast to the richness and fullness of Hui’s voice here, and I like how they’re working together. Jinho is incredibly talented, and some of his vocal choices can be hit and miss for me (entirely a personal preference/vocal flavor thing). I love their harmonies here, and I love this type of song so much!

When It Rains In Night

More missing Yannan hours happening. But I do really like this! They work their voices together really well. I really like this style of song in general. I like that I appreciate Kino’s voice in this song, it works really well for him.

Off-Road

I love this! Hongseok’s voice in this is so so good. I really appreciate Shinwon here! Hui and Yeo One and Yannan’s lines are so so good. I love the way they pass the lines between the different vocalists and their contrasting vocal flavors enhance the song and complement each other. You’ve found the rare beast of a song where E’dawn’s rapping works for me.

Nothing I Can Do

I am so very torn on this song. We are back to E’Dawn’s rapping not being my thing. But also we have beautiful beautiful Yannan and Hongseok call and response, and incredible Yeo One vocals that I love. And the style of Hui’s voice that brings forward some of my favorite things about it. So like... I’m torn. I would love this song so much more with no rap in it at all honestly.

Think About You

Some beautiful harmonies, really like what vocal line has going on here. But similar to Nothing I Can Do, E’Dawn’s doing the thing I don’t enjoy again. I’d like this song much better without rap in general again honestly. Love Hongseok’s voice especially in this.

Stay

Yes! This is what I wanted the last few songs to be. This is beautiful! Wonderful start with Yeo One’s voice. Ooh, Jinho in the placement that he uses that I like. Yeo One and Yannan harmonization!!!! The harmonies used in general! Hui’s voice!!! Hongseok’s voice!!! Just voices! Excellent mingling of vocal flavor! No rapping to disrupt the flow of the song. Very good, excellent, exactly what I wanted!

It’s Over

Well this is another I’m deeply torn song. We’ve got another I don’t like E’Dawn’s rapping style at all song going on here, and the rest of the rapping in the song doesn’t really add anything for me. On the other hand that brilliant moment where we have Hui, Hongseok, Jinho, Yeo One harmonization going on is amazing. It almost bumped it up one level on the chart for me, except that I sat through an earlier part of the song making a face.

When I Was In Love

There’s some soundscaping stuff that’s weird for me in the track, but overall, I really like this song! Bonus points for E’Dawn’s voice being perfectly fine for me in this song. I’m determining when he does the deeper more lyrical style it doesn’t make me wince. Like Shinwon’s voice in this quite a bit along with my usual four.

Thank You (Jinho and Hui)

I love Hui’s voice so so much! Jinho doing the things I like that he does. I think I will probably like most if not all duets that they do because the ways that their voices complement each other seems to encourage Jinho to lean into the things he does that I like. They are both so talented, and this is a wonderful song!

Pentagon

We are back to my E’Dawn problem. (To be really really clear, this is a me problem, his vocal flavor for my synesthesia where I taste sounds is just... not working to the point it makes me wince in most placements he uses.) Love the “I’m furious” cycle through vocalists. Love Yeo One’s voice in this so much (along with the rest of my usual four).

You Are

Vocals only song!!!! I love this so much! They all sound so good! It’s so gentle and melancholy and I love the soundscape dropping element. The harmonic elements when they are all singing together. This is the sort of thing that just makes me so happy! The way Hui’s voice just ties everything together at the end.

Navigation (Hui)

I really like this song! I watched the live from the show that this was done on and wow! Not just for the song itself but also for the way he performs it. Love his voice! Love what he does with his falsetto! Thank you very much for pointing me at this!

For You (Hui)

Don’t have much in the way of extra notes beyond I love his voice and how rich and versatile it is. He puts so much into performances, and that’s a beautiful part of it too.
