ʚɞ ; attending dodgerfest with shohei!

pairing! boyfriend!shohei x fem!reader.

warnings! none.

shohei wasn’t the type of player to stop practice just to attend something like this but! that does not mean he dislikes his fans or wants to disrespect them in any kind of way, he just.. takes practice very seriously. once you spoke to him about it and even told him you’d attend with him he was all ears.

you attending the dodgerfest with him for support and as his girlfriend? a plus. he was now a lot more excited to go and interact some with the fans and reporters knowing that you were close by and enjoying watching him be such a sweet man.

you obviously had to match with him! wearing the white jersey that he was wearing with a pair of dark colored jeans just like he was. that to him was just the cutest thing ever being able to match with you.

“how do I look? not too tired right? I hope not.”

“you look so cute in my jersey, wear this one to all the games okay? I love the white color on you.”

he’ll hold your hand and keep your shorter body close to his much taller and broader one because he’s not wanting you to get pulled away from him or pushed by all of the staff members and players.

he’ll like it if you take a lot of pictures of him or the stadium and how many fans showed up to see him and the other players. it’ll be memories for both him and you to look at long after it’s all finished.

shohei is of course a very private person, loves his privacy but bringing you along with him and being able to show you off at certain times made him feel good about the relationship. I mean, come on he was showing off his beautiful girlfriend… you!!!!!!!

shohei will glance at you from time to time while answering questions and give you a small but soft smile or even a wink that he is embarrassed by but still does it anyway because he knows you like it.

if one of the reporters asks a question about you or the relationship he’ll answer it with the most cutest and fondest smile on his face and get super shy afterwards because he knows you’re close by.

if you two are separated for long, he’ll call you on the phone and ask if you’re doing okay or if you need him to find you. he knows how packed it is there and wants you safe and sound even if you’re next to the security guards that escorted him out.

introduces you to all of the new players that have been welcomed on the team, taking photos of you and them because he thinks you just look so cute next to them since they’re all much larger than you.

“what do you think? everyone’s so nice here huh?”

“everyone loves you! I’m so happy you came with.”

when the fest ended and it was time for everyone to leave, you and shohei would go get a burger from his favorite place in n out with a nice large order of fries to go with it and possibly a milkshake.

he knows that you were extremely hungry while waiting for him to finish up with the reporters and the interview so he wanted to treat you (and him) of course since that’s his most favorite place ever.

“I had so much fun today, I’m so happy you came with. thank you my love. you made it very special.”

a long walk in the city afterwards while holding hands and keeping close to his side while he talks about how excited he is for the season with his new team and for you to be there supporting him.

shohei will drag you to the nearest park to push you on the swing while he stops you to steal a kiss at random times before asking if you two should talk about the dodgerfest again and what your favorite part of the day was. he’s that obsessed.

shohei is just a big excited child that you will have to love and cherish for the rest of your lives. please
