The bayonet is essentially a weapon of offence - all attacks should be met with the bullet. If a counter attack with the bayonet has to be launched against an attack, it should be withheld until the enemy has straggled out and become exhausted, and then hurled against it. The exhausted leaders of the attack, the fittest and bravest of the enemy should be killed without difficulty; those in the rear, the less fit and more prudent, will become demoralised and commence to waver. If at this point a counter attack with the bayonet is pushed with vigour, this wavering will be converted into a rout; the flying enemy must be followed up and bayonetted in the kidneys. The rout will in all probability further degenerate into a panic.

Doctrine?
I hope the following will help us identify things that do and do not change over time. I think if members would stick to this, we would have fewer problems honestly. I'll use the Word of Wisdom for my list below, but you can add anything here and it will work well:
Doctrine (pure truth that never changes and can be applied to all God’s children at any time in the history of the world) - * Example: "Our earthly, mortal bodies are an important part of God's eternal plan for us."*
Principle (a good value derived directly from Doctrine that does not contain a specific practice) - Example:  "We should take care of our mortal bodies and treat them with respect"
Policy (a specific practice required by the church as part of the regular order of behaviors) - Example: "No coffee, tea or tobacco, and this is required for a temple recommend."
Counsel (a specific set of recommendations and guidelines, often derived from Principle but not something the church has implemented as required Policy) - Example: The rest of the Word of Wisdom
This was life-changing for me, and I hope it does some good for you as you listen to counsel from church leaders speaking about the doctrine of God - and also about principles and practices that are important to them.

Its not what it is outside the church that is a danger but the most biggest danger is from inside the church. Paul warned us so much about those who will sneak in the church and lead people astray with a false gospel.
The biggest thing us Christians need to be solid in biblical doctrine. Read ya Bibles. Read it everyday. Doesn't need to be 4 hours a day but something like 30 to 40 minutes of close reading a day works. Find sound teachers and read good books over all kinds of subjects concerning Christianity.

The person you came here to see belongs to the temple now. They've devoted their life to a higher purpose. Just look at them! They're an excellent cocksucker. Look at how they keep my balls clean with their tongue. No, no they're not leaving, but you can join them if you want. We're always accepting new members 💋

"Sorry?" said Agnes.
"Pardon?"
"I thought you whispered something," said Agnes.
"I was, er, saying a short prayer," said Oats.
"Will that help?" said Agnes.
"Er...it helps me. The Prophet Brutha said that Om helps those who help one another."
"And does he?"
"To be honest, there are a number of opinions of what was meant."

The Creed of Chalcedon (A.D. 451)
We, then, following the holy Fathers, all with one consent, teach men to confess one and the same Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, the same perfect in Godhead and also perfect in manhood; truly God and truly man, of a reasonable (rational) soul and body; consubstantial (coessential) with the Father according to the Godhead, and consubstantial with us according to the Manhood; in all things like unto us, without sin; begotten before all ages of the Father according to the Godhead, and in these latter days, for us and for our salvation, born of the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, according to the Manhood; one and the same Christ, Son, Lord, Only-begotten, to be acknowledged in two natures, inconfusedly, unchangeably, indivisibly, inseparably; the distinction of natures being by no means taken away by the union, but rather of the property of each nature being preserved, and concurring in one Person and one Subsistence, not parted or divided into two persons, but one and the same Son, and only begotten, God, the Word the Lord Jesus Christ; as the prophets from the beginning (have declared) concerning him, and the Lord Jesus Christ himself has taught us, and the Creed of the holy Fathers has handed down to us.

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.
Who, for us men and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of life; who proceedeth from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spake by the prophets.
And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. AMEN.
