Invocation to the wrong deity

Diana needed help, but it was a burden that fell on her, since the danger was on Themyscira. She wasn't going to bother her companions with a personal problem so she didn't inform the League.

Or at least, she didn't think to ask for help until she realized that she required an experienced mage to perform a summoning. She could ask Zatana for help but she was on a journey, and Constantine was not an option. With a sigh she decided to contact Captain Marvel.

Her partner agreed to help her immediately, and with much reluctance on her mother's part (no one was happy with the Captain's participation but they accepted it) they managed to perform the summoning. Just in time, because one of the "evils" from Pandora's box had landed on their land.

Unfortunately, instead of summoning their old guide "Pandora", someone else appeared. A teenager in a star-spangled cloak looking around excitedly. Of course, no one was happy with such a development.

Except the summoned one, Danny was happy to leave his meeting with the Observants, the excuse of the summoning was always convenient.

the benbunny household has moved! my situation is too temporary at the moment to be worth setting up all my dolls, but I had to have at least one room to play with. Diana seemed the obvious choice — not only was she the doll that got me back into dolls and my buddy while I was at college, she’s also at the point in her story where she’s moving to Paris for finishing school! So this shelf is now her dorm room there :)

mulder and diana literally have the most intense divorced energy anyone could ever have...they have the chemistry of two people who've been married for decades and maybe don't wanna be married anymore, maybe aren't married anymore, but once you're married you're grandfathered in. you're always married. haven't touched each other in years, go most days not even considering the other, but owe each other something, and aren't sure of what it is. diana lies and lies and lies to his face, and then dies to save him. she feels entitled to him, she knows what's best for him, what's his is theirs. always. she was there when he got it. she helped him build it. (she tells him herself: "don't forget that"). so much of what she does appears as she's trying to establish a claim over him, but she doesn't have to try. she just is. she's irreproachable. you don't talk about the wife. (and you don't talk to her, as scully and diana arguing is met only with mulder's impatient, "scully...scully...scully.")

any time she comes up in conversation, his friends are uncomfortable. i love the way byers goes "well....yeah?" when scully asks if he knows diana. he says it like he's surprised that scully didn't know about her. when scully won't stop pressing mulder about diana in one son, all three of the boys tense up. the camera keeps going to their reactions. (you don't talk about the wife. they were there. "i always wondered why they split up.")

scully says "special agent diana fowley" as though maybe if she had one more title to throw in, she would disappear. diana says "fox" like she has something to prove. mulder says "diana" like it communicates everything he doesn't say. and in a way, it does. the first time scully heard him call agent fowley "diana," she knew.

• Earth wasn't exactly a logical place, at least not for your Kriptonian mind. Most people fear drowing but they don't stop going to swin. All of them fear get burned but then they bath are so hot that their skin get red. Bureaocracy. Humans don't provide food for their equals, even tho they have enough food for every person on the planet. And mosquitoes. Don't even get me started on mosquitoes

• So it was great to meet someone so perplexed with this planet as you. When you meet Wonder Woman you both we’re helping your cousin to defeat a specially irritating villain. It was not a big deal, you both talked for less than five minutes, but it marked the moment we’re she became part of your life

• After that, you both keep on meeting. Sometimes you we’re helping your cousin and she joins, others they we’re helping you, but most of the times Clark come to see you she was around. That made impossible to not learn a little bit more of her, to be interest onto her, to miss her when she is gone

• You tend to talk about how strange that planet was and, different then everyone when you explain your feelings for that new freaky planet, she listened to you. More than that: she thinks the same

• As you both keep on bemping into one another, you felt that you would really like to talk to her out of work. It was fun being around someone that also was trying to understand that planet and was actually really fun to talk to

• She asked you to visit Themyscira, you called her to the Fortress of Solitute, and when you realized Diana was the person you most talk to. One day you would learn that Diana asked Clark to help her into talking to you

• Fighting with her actually is kinda of fun. At the same time you both want to make sure that the other is safe, thats also a lot of showing off your power and strenght. It was almost a flirt and, when you both start dating, it was a provoke

• That new life was difficult for you but she helped. You we're supossed to protect Zor-el and Kara, you we're a adult when Krypton was gone, but you and Kara fell into the Phantom Zone. The thing is that you both spend some time there and now that Clark is a adult, Kara is a new adult and you are pretty sure that you now are younger then him. How was you supossed to train someone who was a peace symbol? What was your porpouse? Diana showed you that all you felt was fine and that you didn't need to worry about porpouse: you could create a new one

• And she would be by your side no matter what you choose

I miss 1987 comics. It felt like things had substance over production value.

#it's one of those things like. objectively certain things are better in regards to race gender sexuality and politics #but there's something so. clean and polished and deliberately focus-grouped about modern comics #not always (talking about big two not indie - indie can still get delightfully messy) #but idk. there's a heart to (certain) old comics that I miss #I miss 1990s Gotham and early 2000s Metropolis #I miss Diana who had nothing to do with Zeus and who had a job as a diplomat #I miss worlds where characters can have tension and be bitches to each other for petty reasons #idk. Very random, but do you think Claude ever regretted not being there for athys birth, and basically letting the love of his life die alone with only maids and a newborn around her? I feel like it had to have come to his mind at least once, and now I kinda wanna read a one shot based around the idea, because mmmm angst.

We do see him regret (get depressed) quite a bit about being absent for most of her early childhood during that chapter when he stomped on that noble's hand that Aety possessed as well as when we see him shrink into his seat after he tells Athy of how Diana spoke(she TORE into the guy lmfao serves him right) to him.

About Diana, perhaps since the black magic didn't take a hold of him as Athy came into the picture earlier than in the Lovely Princess, we do know that he loved her and she him. He drinks himself to sleep on Athy's birthday and sees hallucinations of Diana, all symptoms of regret, depression, etc.

TL:DR; YES!!! WMMAP Timeline Claude definitely regretted not being there for Athy's birth after he got to know her as his daughter, and regretted even more about Diana's death because he was a foolish man to leave her there alone, knowing he could have been there for her last breaths, to kiss her hands and forehead, to let her know that he would be there for their daughter- a child born from their love.

I love how around the holiday season the last couple of years Market Basket puts out weirdly nostalgic merch. Idk about other regional grocery store chains in different parts of the country but Shaw's and Stop and Shop for example would never get away with that.

She’s the twin sister to Klaus Mikaelson. She is also the half sister to Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and Henrik Mikaelson. Out of her siblings, Diana is the fifth eldest ( she would have been the fourth eldest out of them, but Klaus was the older twin.)

Diana is a hybrid of Vampire and Werewolf. Although she quite frankly considers them both to be a curse to her.

She was born in the Kingdom of Norway in the late 10th century. She didn’t become vampire till about very early 11th century.

Diana is a pansexual

Up till the time before her twin brother’s death, she had been living in New Orleans with all of her other living siblings. After her two brothers deaths and lost of dear friends, she had decided to move back to a place they all used to live and love.

Diana has known the Noceda family since the moved to Gravesfield and has babysat/& tutored Luz since than.

She has taught at a lot of big name colleges. She is just a super huge bookworm, which is putting it lightly. She just absolutely loves learning and she loves teaching.

Diana and Rebekah Mikaelson are the legal guardian of their niece, Hope Mikaelson, whom is currently enrolled in a academy for supernatural kids.
