i like modding bc it gives me sm more control over the semantics of my gaming experience. if i was playing video games the same way i was like 10yrs ago i don't know if I'd still be into them! 😹

for the past year almost, every time i get a new game one of the first things i do is look into how to mod it lmao.

#more than half the time either devs share tools themselves or there's a discord channel for modding #but there r more general decompilers u can use to mess around with the code #it's interesting.. I've always wondered how ppl made mods and i guess i slowly figured it out :› #i don't necessarily make a bunch of changes right off the bat it's more so just making sure i know How to make those changes and #where i would want to look to make them. still gotta play some amount first to actually know what u want to mod exactly #also good for context on what's in the files ur changing lol

Remember how I made a request for patches for the tumblr app to the revanced team, and they closed it because those patches were "not planned" and warned me for "breaking the rules" by requesting the patches?

Guess what app just popped up in the patchable apps list in revanced manager?

Bit late there, guys. Also weird how this has appeared when you had no plans to touch it.

You may not know this about me, but I love Danny Phantom. wow, on a FNaF blog, what a shocker! anyway the ghost boy is awesome.

so i created a little Danny Phantom AU. If ur unfamiliar w/ DP, it's basically a young lad named Daniel Fenton gets zapped by a ghost portal and half-died and is a superhero named Danny Phantom. How nobody knows he's Phantom remains a mystery.

anyway you may be thinking "Oh, obviously Dev's gonna make Michael half-die and be a ghost superhero because in canon-" BUT YOU'D BE WRONG!!!

In fact, Jeremy is the halfa. Michael actually takes the place of Sam Manson, and he gets to be goth. As a treat <3.

So Jeremy half-dies and dons the ghost persona "Mangle". I'm so creative right guys. It's one in the morning cut me some slack ok

Of course I literally can't function without my ocs so Bonnie Bully, who I hope you remember his name is James, is the certified Wes Weston. If you don't know who that is dhmu. All my homies love Wes Weston.
