The Darkside Detective; rated T for mostly suggestive language.

Dooley comes back from getting lunch earlier than McQueen expected, and a kind offer turns out to be a sign of something more. McQueen and Dooley learn dreams can come true even in slightly dark offices.

aka: best friends to lovers except they've been pining for 20+ years bcus they're both kind of ridiculous. it's fine, though, they get there! and then they kiss about it.

McQueen felt McKing shut the door before he heard the man himself loudly proclaim that he was off to save the city by showing his face or whatever bullshit he decided on claiming for today. Which meant it was lunchtime, and that McQueen was probably alone in the station because Dooley had gone out to get lunch somewhere and McQueen had turned down his invitation (with somewhat of a heavy heart) in order to catch up on reports. He didn't actually have that many reports to catch up on, of course, but he liked the peace and quiet to do them in. Especially if he needed to edit any of "Dooley's" again (the Bloodwolves were getting better at reports, but McQueen had known Dooley for longer than they'd been alive and his voice was very present in the reports he did do).

Until, at least, there was a knock on his door some time later. A horrible second passed where he was afraid that McKing had come back to make fun of him for sitting in his office alone during lunch, but... nothing.

"Come in...?"

And in came Dooley.

So I was playing a game with my friend (The Darkside detective) and she met McKing for the first time. She hated him, but then said this to me. 

“If he ever has a daughter, or son I bet you 20$ they would date one of McQueen and Dooley kids.”

now I’m left with a dilemma cuz I could see that happening but what would be McQueen and Dooley’s reaction to it!

His flashy pyrotechnics work with the metal warband has made him popular with skritt. While convinced he has unnaturally good luck, he’s actually prone to disaster and always unwittingly saved by a secret skritt fan club dedicated to protecting Pyro the Shiny. When the fan club interfered with a championship roller beetle race unbeknownst to him, his greatest rival Thunder McKing used the opportunity to frame him for cheating. Masked Roller F, who claims to be a great detective, offered to help clear his name. In the process the two were caught up in a mystery involving Ascolonian ghosts, ancient ruins, powerful artifacts, secret treasures, and a Krytan conspiracy centuries in the making that threatens all of Tyria. Normally dealing with this sort of thing would be the commander’s job, but Cyll deserves a break every once in a while.

Alder’s current boyfriend- a vampire lumberjack who lures other sylvari to his cabin in the shiverpeaks, drinks their sap, makes what’s left over into maple syrup to sell at his general store in town, and then uses the bodies for woodworking, cabin building, and firewood. The sap vampire is believed to be a folk tale by the locals, so nobody suspects the kind friendly shop owner of any wrongdoing. However, campfire stories warn sylvari never to go alone into the woods, lest they encounter the Sap-pire. Alder, unfortunately, has misinterpreted the legend to be about a priceless sapphire, and is so very glad to have someone who knows this wilderness help him look for the treasure. Acer, meanwhile, grows increasingly frustrated trying to maneuver this idiot into a situation where he can drink his sweet, delicious sap. He also has a pet spider and fern hound.

BACK STORY;

Let’s talk about Travis McQueen. He was born in Australia, real good parents Abbie and Andrew Mcqueen, he has two older sister Tiffany and Teresa which is why he’s such an hopeless romantic guy. Growing up by the sea having everything he wanted in his life but yet again— never enough to society. His father was one of the biggest lawyers in Sydney and like every other rich kid story his father wanted him to be just like him. His older sister went after their father footsteps but travis loved the sea so much he just wanted to surf and swim. He detected his life to that— being one of the most famous swimmer and surfers in Australia wasn’t enough to his father. He was campion and has his career build up to his future. Until one day at age 21, he falls of his surf and his shoulder dislocated, he was broken. The only thing he heard from his parents was ‘told you so’ not anything else. Good thing he has his own money from that career, he took his things and left to new york city. He didn’t know what to do there, but he just couldn’t see the sea or the bright sun. 

He was rich enough for himself, so what he did was invest in small business and that’s how he did, becoming more successful than he could ever imagine. He has his little office, and the small business become big. He’s now at the villas because he felt homesick, he wanted to feel the sun again but just a little so he won’t get too heartbroken. 

PERSONALITY:

In most cases, travis can be trusted, except when he simply doesn’t care about you. He  won’t  spend his time in guilt, not secure about his decisions and choices of partners. He will lie only if he doesn’t want to deal with the boring consequences of his words, never out of fear. In general, he’s not the guy who is afraid, and this is what can make him such a faithful and trustful person. Still, there are times when he doesn’t see the point of honesty because he doesn’t really want to get too attached or close to anyone. To understand Travis, you gonna need to know his weaknesses and they are sometimes hard to come by. He is not that secretive, he just doesn’t want to talk about things that are emotionally difficult, and he would rather spend time in his pool of personal satisfaction than swim in negative emotions. The most important thing to remember about him is that he seemingly superficial nature is not superficial at all. Travis is openhearted, grand in his gestures and easy to talk to. He is comfortable to be with, on the other hand, he can be bossy, pretentious and self-involved to the point in which it is impossible to other people.
