Kid's voice actor revealed, Kid in M27 won't be "Relax" anymore

Kappei Yamaguchi revealed that after reading the script for Conan the Movie 27, he couldn't stop himself from crying. He revealed that the thief's idea in the film is different from the previous films. His character will have a lot of development awaits.

He revealed that there was a scene where he had to do a voice channel that he had never thought of before.

It is "anger" Because we see Kid's thinking about everything in a relaxed manner, no matter how bad he was. But this time it's not anymore.

The relationship of Conan and Kid the Thief, Even if it's optimistic. But there are some walls that will be presented as the core of the film while Nakamori's explored in this film too.

Plus a secret that will be revealed at the end of the movie. It will make the audience crys after finish.

The film is scheduled to be released in Japan on April 12, 2024.

I am super excited for the new Detective Conan movie (27)!!! I saw the teaser art by Gosho Aoyama and watched the trailers and I have so many questions about this scene like WHAT HAPPENED?! I couldn't resist and had to draw it :P

KAISHIN OPINION: NO FUNERAL

I've been seeing a lot of tags on twitter after the whole cousins reveal spoilers such as 'KaiShin Funeral' or KaiShin is Over' and a lot of condolences (and even those who offered different BL ships for Kaito or Shinichi 😅)

Now while the condolences are appreciated, personally, I won't be needing it. Because I knew KaiShin was never gonna happen for 20 years now and if I didn't want to ship them, I would've stopped back in 2004

To those who wish to stop shipping KaiShin, then that's okay. It's your right and no one should make you feel guilty for that. Its the same for those who DO still wanna ship KaiShin (whether as cousins or otherwise is entirely up to you), don't feel guilty for enjoying what you love. Ship KaiShin for as long as you want. Enjoy whatever you can for this fictional media

I can't personally speak for the KaiShin community but for me, let me make this clear:

NO FUNERAL!

Is it bad that I don't want toichi to be alive? I feel like it ruins his character. I just feel like it paints him in a bad light. The fact that he was alive the whole time and kaito went through so much just because of him. Heʼs literally kaito kid because of him!!! The last thing I want is for kaito to be heartbroken (even though he's definitely gonna be that in the future) THATS MY TWIN IF HE HURTS I HURT!!!

So uuuuuh any thoughts on the new trailer for movie 27…cause in my opinion it looks whack…like Heiji…is he going to realize Kaito looks like Shinichi?

The rooftop fight scene sure doesn’t help me calm down…send help…

Alright, so I haven't watched the movie, but I've heard the rumors and spoilers. If they are true, I don't want to see anyone sending hate mail or going back to old fics and hating on them because of the new information or anything, this is something that's had literal YEARS to grow and develop. No hints whatsoever outside of the fact that Shinichi's father and Kaito's father were rivals, and Shinichi's mother was taught by Kuroba Toichi. So if the movie reveals our worst fears as kaishin fans, just remember that it isn't the shippers fault, none of us could have known or realized because there was little to no information at all up until this point and,again, we've had years to develop the ship, over 20 years worth of potential shipping fuel and tension.

KAISHIN OPINION: COUSINS REVEAL?

Since I haven't watch the movie yet, I can neither confirm nor deny the whole cousins spoiler thing. Whether or not its true, 20+ years is a long ass time and I've ignored canon before so this won't stop me.

If they truly are cousins in the movie and it ends up being canon in the manga too? Then fuck it. It won't be my canon. Especially when Aoyama is also the one planning to make Toichi alive after literally putting Kaito through horrific trauma of witnessing his father's murder and mourning him

No. Just NO

I respect that its his manga and his characters, and I as a fan, I am only borrowing his creations. But even so, as a fan, I have the right to chose what I wish to do with whatever happens in canon in my FANWORKS

Either I acknowledge that they're cousins and continue shipping them (I'm asian so the whole cousins being lovers thing isnt anything new in my culture nor is it a crime in my country...or a number of asian or southeast asian countries if I'm not mistaken. Granted, it doesn't usually happen simply because people tend to fall for friends or colleagues but cousins marrying dont raise any eyebrows here)

Or I ignore canon entirely and they stay unrelated in any way

However, if those who followed me for my kaishin content then dont worry, I'll still post anything of kaishin that comes to mind

Most likely, I'll ignore them being cousins if it ends up canon. Because honestly? There's a lot of things in canon I dont agree with so ignoring them as cousins won't be the first thing I've ignored or changed in canon. In that same vein, I'll ignore Toichi being alive too because while something like that is usually something to rejoice in any other situation or story, the whole thing is unnecessarily cruel and borderline an inhumane thing to do towards your own child. In my opinion, Toichi should not be written in such a way so for my fanworks, he will not be

To those who want him alive, thats okay. Go ahead but I will not acknowledge that canon

Also, for those who are uncomfortable at the possible canon cousins reveal then thats more than okay. You are free to unfollow or block me or any kaishin posts

So....yeah, I'll ship kaishin whatever the outcome is because in the end, the characters and manga are FICTIONAL so I can change, acknowledge or ignore canon as I wish
