Could you write some sleepover headcanons for the beta kids(homestuck) please?

I kinda based these off of me and my friends, so I hope its not too out of character!!

JOHN

Obviously in charge of the movies (much to everyones dismay).

He occasionally brings snacks too. (Snacks meaning full sized cakes that his father made.)

He is the one who usually stays quiet when discussing sleeping positions. He doesn't argue, or make it sexual when sleeping next to someone. He may make it awkward, but not sexual at all.

He'd wake up at the same time as rose would, so before anyone else.

ROSE

Her house is usually where they go for sleepovers, but if her mom is having an exceptionally rough night she'll make an excuse.

She has Kanaya make the pajamas, because everyone agreed it would be nice to have matching pajamas when they have sleep overs.

If there is an extra mattress, she'll insist she take it. She enjoys sleeping on separate beds, because she takes over the entire bed.

As stated with John, she and him wake up first. She usually goes to make food for everyone while John stays and wishes the two left good morning when they wake up.

JADE

She is usually the one who asked everyone if they wanna hang out. And she helps keep conversations going while John starts them.

She sleeps wildly, but doesnt know it. She can and will sleep on top of someone. (She also enjoys cuddling with whoever is nearest to her) ((in a non-romantic way of course)

She also brings stuff so they can have some activities to do. (Like beads, yarn, coloring books, and so on)

She wakes up last, and sleeps like a log. So once she's out she's out

DAVE

He's the one who gets the nitty gritty information. Like when they should arrive, when they'll leave, what they'll be doing, and all that jazz

He sleeps like a log. Not like he sleeps deeply, no, he sleeps without moving. He's scared everyone because of how still he is when sleeping.

He's the one with stories to tell when everyone wakes up, because his dreams can be fucking WILD.

He is pretty easy to wake up, so he wakes up at the sound and smell of Rose cooking.

I think hed appreciate someone who just listens too him blabber

don't ask me why but he'd like to naw on you

I think he's too aware of how sharp his teeth are to go biting down that hard, but yknow

nipping at you gently, but not before he was smothering you in sloppy clown kisses

this is real specific but I think hed have the type of eyes that you can't seem to keep eye contact with

he's just so much taller and just has this lopsided shiteating grin, that shows most of his sharp ass teeth

I'd like to think his eyes are always that half lidded gaze, especially when it's at you

but no intent behind the looks he gives, fuck- probably no thoughts either

lights on no one home

don't get me wrong, he's not dumb,

in the simplest sense hes a big ol airhead

yknow a dingbat, a bit of a scatterbrain

but he's not like- vegetable for a brain dumb as hell

and thats another thing, it's definitely really convincing to probably think that he's yknow, not all there

but it throws you off gaurd x2 when he'd get all close and murmur and mumble certain things too you

he looked like he had a maximum of 3 thoughts floating around in his brain

but here he is, mumbling in a low almost gravely tone, right by your ear

I love to think he's one of those tall people to rest his arm playfully on your head if your shorter, which you most likely are-

can't recall if I mentioned the last time sense I have a rubber ducky keeping track of my memory

but I think hed be cold all the time

not like, bothersomely fridged

but enough to make you shiver and squirm if he were to press his hand to your skin, noticeable enough for you to verbally go "Damn-"

also!! I think hed be a huge sucker for you just holding his face with your hands, letting him relax against you, eyes shut

still grinning a bit and letting that low rumbling purr come from him

and this also means playing with his hair,

pet him damn it he demands it

no, not really more like laying and being in your space, following you round until you pay attention properly too him

sense most trolls can't- yknow- go out in the middle of the day because of their intense asf sun, trolls are nocturnal

so like if you ever took a photo with him with flash his eyes would do that reflective thing that cats have

or for another example, yknow how in the dark the first thing you spot about your black cat is its eyes?

like I said in the other headcannon thingy, he's just always lurking and looming, he likes knowing what your doing even if he's not involved

and this comes with him trailing around you like a dog that sees you have food and knows you'll give it too them at some point

wether it be from afar or close, don't assume he's not close by, him being a purple blood im sure he's well aware of how violent trolls can be,

but with you around! oh he can't let you wonder off too far- Alternia's atmosphere is dangerous and the fauna is even more dangerous-

so don't expect to go very far without him trailing behind you

but he'd understand if you explained too him you wanted time too yourself or with somebody else one on one

I dont think hed be a jealous person, maybe a lil possessive! but he's not overbearing with it

he just wants you safe and content, and he wants you too feel that way around him

have a song I think fits his uh? vibe towards? significant other? because 🎉

Dave Strider

mm have I said he's a genuinely a big goof?

but I think that'd be something someone gets right off the bat

if you can pick up on someone trailing off on tangents of meaningless words that can go on and on without someone actually ever responding

than it's pretty visable

I think itd be pretty adorable though (I know I'm gay, whatever)

like if he were to start talking about something, anything, and you gave a simple short response, he's gonna take that and run with it

especially if he likes you

I think hed definitely be one too stare

but how could you tell? he's always wearing those shades

probably a good reason why he wears them other than ironic purposes

so no one sees what or where or in this case who he's lookin at

constantly staring though, wether it's you having a conversation with you or, you doing something random he's just watching

no actual thoughts id like to say

just observing

watching you be you, do your own natural thing, picking up on the way you talk or gesture at stuff

I cannot urge this enough but I still firmly believe physical touch would be a very special thing too him

it's not impossible or looked down upon too be able to hold his hand or lean against him

but he'd be mentally noting each touch, each expression you make, listening intently too your tone, hoping your doing the same

but with these actions he'd be straight faced as always, but he can feel his hands tremble ever so slightly, he recognizes his heart beat picking up

unfamiliar with these feelings with how they're being presented yknow?

most times he ever feels this way he's in danger

but he knows he couldn't be safer right now, like he wants to believe that, it's not hard for him to believe it

but his body is just hardwired to tense up, clench his jaw and steady the shakey breathing

but being patient and respectful would melt those feelings away really easy I'd like too think

just sitting there and slowly showing affection, brushing thumbs against his knuckles, tracing over fingers

you focus on his hand, flipping it over and thumbing at his vaguely sweaty palm, hand still shaking faintly in your gentle grasp

he'd just stare at you, in disbelief and adoration, and realization that he doesnt need to be poker faced round you

that he doesnt need to put up a front to protect himself, the squishy parts of him he learned to shove away to get along with life

a big sigh of relief to say the least,

but once he realizes he doesn't need to be someone else for you, he can just be him, no expectations or demands, he can rely on someone else for once

you ain't ever gettin rid of him after that, he's not clingy but he's no longer keeping you at arms length, not now, not ever again

AND HE GETS MUSIC THING because he is my favorite right next too the crab man <3

That you were a creative person, Dave learned from you. You told him that you were drawing a little bit and Dave told you about the comic book that he was drawing. You didn't show him your drawings, claiming that you drew them in your album. It was only when Dave came to visit you, having traveled through half the country, that he found out that you drew much more than you talked about and your hobbies were not limited to drawing

You had a lot of albums that you kept in a box in the closet, and the one in which you drew you kept in your room. As it turned out, there were a lot of different drawings, including portraits of your friends. You drew them based on your guesses and were very confused when Dave saw how you represented him. This caused a chuckle, but he thought it was cute that you were making assumptions about exactly what he looked like

Another of your hobbies was cross-stitch. You kept in a beautiful box the embroidery frame, threads and fabrics that you used. Dave was looking at your embroidery with curiosity. It was something so unusual to him, but he couldn't help but realize how cute it looked. You were really talented and he liked it

When Dave was about to leave back, you gave him one of your embroideries. Back home, Dave hid your little gift so his brother wouldn't find it. You made this embroidery especially for him and it made your gift for Dave special

You and Dirk lived at the same time and you, like him, were quite limited in entertainment. Dirk was looking for all kinds of ways to spend time, and so are you. You both drew and shared drawings with each other. He knew that drawing wasn't your only hobby, but you didn't often talk about what else you liked to do. It was only when you met in person that he found out about your other hobby

You spent a lot of time drawing and you really liked it. Some of your drawings you drew in a computer program and shared them with Dirk, but there were those that you drew on paper. You liked to sketch with a regular pencil. There was something special about it and you were glad you could share it with Dirk

Another of your hobbies was cross-stitch. You did it when you had nothing else to do. You still kept unsuccessful embroideries, but you had a lot of successful ones that you carefully framed. Dirk looked at your embroidery with interest. They were different from what he was used to, but they were still wonderful

Dirk saw how deftly you handled the needle and how intently you drew. It meant a lot to you, it was your way of coping with loneliness, and although he could not keep you company in embroidery, but nothing prevented you from drawing together

DAVE/DIRK WITH A MULTILINGUAL S/O

Dave isn't really good with learning any other languages, but you being able to speak them fluently really amazes him. He's interested in you translating, and trying to help it, but he doesn't have much hope that he'd be able to speak anything fluently like you do. Whenever he catches you swearing, he just starts to smirk and nod along. Oh, and he gets so soft and sweet when you call him other nicknames. Makes him feel super special.

Dirk, on the other hand, probably would be able to learn bits and pieces. He'd start learning enough to be able to flirt or call you sweet nicknames in return. He'd probably want to surprise you with this, though, so you wouldn't find out until you did something like flirt with him, only for him to immediately counter that with another compliment in that language. He immediately grins about it afterwards, especially if you happen to get flustered or blush.

* At first his feelings would effect him subconsciously, for example his songs being influenced by you whether its because you enjoy a specific genre, enjoy the sound of a specific instrument, like a specific way lyrics are structured or maybe you both started collaborating together, in some way it changed his work and everyone but him notices.

* I feel like it would be obvious to everyone but him and you that he has a crush. Like- John & Rose would tease him so much about it and Dave would try to play it cool as if he hasn’t ranted to them about the cute thing you did when you were both hanging out a few minutes ago.

* If he actually thinks about how he feels about you for a minute or two then it would hit him that OH SHIT HE DOES HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU.

yeah i really have nothing better to do than analyze homestuck characters by my interpretation but i digress.

- so a relationship with dave is essentially just being pulled along for the ride that’s dave’s life like its just so casual on the surface it's unclear to people sometimes that it’s an established relationship but it is. that doesn't mean he is like relationship-y.

- he’s visibly happier and just is way happier around his partner and everyone kinda notices that.

- he’s subtle and it’s definitely the little things that show his care, dave’s definitely not the type for huge extravagant acts of love or obsession.

- he really just brushes shit off but his heart is still beating at 100mph

- this guy will freak out abt the little shit his partner does that gets his heart beating that they don't even notice

- not the type for PDA, definitely hates misunderstandings and jealousy. he thinks it's stupid and won’t even try if it was done purposely, definitely a turn-off if it was.

- it’s definitely more of the subtle things with dave, he also notices small things abt his partner that probably even his partner doesn’t notice.

When you and Dave met, his first thought about you after an hour of communication was that you were eccentric, but not in a bad sense of the word. You didn't talk much about yourself, but what you told him seemed interesting, even though he didn't expect this when he started communicating with you. It took him some time to establish contact with you, but when you began to trust him more, he realized that your strangeness simply could not be something bad

You often told him about the books you read, and sometimes it seemed to him that you preferred to immerse yourself in a fictional world, avoiding reality, but he couldn't blame you for that. You could easily have forgotten something, because of which Dave sometimes laughed at you, but without malice. However, even when you started dating, something happened that he did not expect. You abruptly stopped responding to his messages. You weren't online for several days, you didn't reply to anyone's messages, after which you came back as if nothing had happened. Only a little later, Dave was able to find out from you that the reason for this was that your emotional calm had cracked due to everyday problems and you didn't want to load others with your problems

The more you were together, the more Dave noticed that you seemed to burn out from the inside, so he tried to help you as much as he could. You have always tried to solve your problems by yourself, albeit by non-standard methods, and because of this it was only harder for you. You didn't want to put your burden on him, but Dave took on some of your problems himself so that you could feel a little better. He didn't let you overexert yourself and didn't leave you when your emotional state was cracking

Dave knew that he himself often hid his problems from others, but he did not want your emotional state to deteriorate so much at some point that you would not be able to restore your calmness. Dave genuinely cared about you and didn't want you to feel bad. He tried to support you to the best of his ability and he hoped that it gave results

♑ Gamzee Makara x Reader 🎪

Your acquaintance with Gamzee happened thanks to your mutual friends. They often said that both of you were weird, only Gamzee was like that because of the pie, and you were just like that. He was curious to know about you, so he got to know you. At first you tried to keep him at arm's length, not trusting him, but over time you really managed to get along and Gamzee realized that you were more interesting than strange

You were interested in unusual things that he hadn't thought about before, despite your hard work, you constantly forgot something and strange thoughts often came into your head that you shared with Gamzee. He was interested in listening to you, because the thoughts you shared with him were really curious. Several times when he came to you, he saw that broken things were scattered around your room. As it turned out, you broke them yourself simply because you liked to break things and it helped you release the accumulated emotions

You were often engaged in plunging headlong into your favorite activities and doing things related to it. Because of this, you were often physically and emotionally exhausted, which did not escape Gamzee's eyes. Gamzee didn't like it when you didn't feel well, so he tried to distract you from business and help you relax so that you could feel better. You didn't want to burden him with your problems, so Gamzee found other ways to help you

He liked the way you were. You were unusual, sincere and you accepted him with all his oddities. Gamzee tried to be as sincere with you in return as he could allow. Next to you, he felt relaxed, even if the sensations of the pie began to leave him

-If you ever successfully escape from him for any meaningful amount of time(even just a few minutes to him), he would hunt you down to the end of the world.

-If you were gone long enough that he had a full mental breakdown with worry for your safety because oh God it's so dangerous for you out there. You don't have any god tier powers, what if someone tried to steal you from him, or hurt you, or even killed you. You were so vulnerable out there, how was he ever supposed to rest easy when he knew how much danger you were in?

-He would leave the house, fully intent on finding you as soon as he could, and not returning to the house until he found you, god tier powers forgotten in the midst of his panic.

-God forbid you were with someone out there when he gets to you, whether they were helping you or harming you, Dave would kill them on the spot, right in front of you, your feelings long forgotten in his rage.

-He isn't mad at you of course, so long as you behave on the way back, he's willing to believe that you didn't leave of your own accord, and that someone had broken in and stolen you, or at the very least manipulated you until you thought you were unsafe in his home.

-When he finds you, if you aren't willing to follow him back on your own, he will not hesitate to drag you back.

-That's one of the only times he would hurt you, even though it wouldn't be on purpose, more just that he doesn't want to give you up.

-If you try to pull away while he's walking you back to his apartment, he'll probably pin you against the nearest building by your throat, telling you why you need to come with him now, that he won't be waiting for you, and either you'll come with or he'll drag you home with him.

-Either way, you aren't escaping his grasp, and once you get back to the hive, he'll pin you down on the bed, holding you and telling you about all of the things that could have happened to you out there. He doesn't like scaring you, but if it's his only option to keep you with him, he'll take it.
