the thing is I didn't have any struggles in pokemon games so far, but I'm slowly going through the games backwards, I haven't played johto yet. Ultra necrozma I got in two hits with darkest lariat and mimikyu's Z move because Rotom gave me two Z moves XD

I probably had to do the most tries against Arceus so I'll go with Arceus's theme XD

Okay so been feeling sick all day today. (Probably a stomach bug)

On the bright side, I cleared through the last of the BB Elite Four and Kieran!

Thoughts-

-Lacey was...fine. She was probably the weakest of the Elite Four for me since it was fairly easy to just power through her Fairy Types with my Sun team. Still, she would certainly have mopped the floor with your average Pokemon fan if they didn't know competitive.

-So Drayton's deal is that he wants to save Kieran from his angst cuz he really liked how he was before The Teal Mask and he's been pushing us to beat him. Which is...nice.

I still don't like him too much for being so manipulative.

-I hunted down a Shiny Beldum. That was cool.

-JESUS FUCKING CHRIST KIERAN.

A Special Attacker Dragonite with Thunder, Hurricane, Extreme Speed and Breaking Swipe while holding an Expert Belt.

A Special Attacker Politoed with Drizzle alongside Weather Ball, Ice Beam, Psychic and fucking Helping Hand to boost it's allies.

An Adaptability, Life Orb Porygon Z with Hyper Beam, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball.

A Prankster Grimmsnarl with Dual Screens, Spirit Break and Sucker Punch with a Focus Sash.

A fucking INTIMIDATE INCINEROAR (that Pokemon that dominates VGC) with Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, Brick Break and Fake Out alongside Sitrus Berry.

And Dipplin's evo with Assault Vest to boost it's lesser Sp.Def, firing off a unique move with a chance to double in power, Tera-Fighting Tera Blast, Earth Power and Gyro Ball.

Gonna be honest- I should not have won that fight. If my Krookidile hadn't gotten a lucky critical on his Incineroar, my Ogerpon wouldn't have been boosted by Defiant on his Hydrapple's switch in, I couldn't have crit through Reflect to KO Grimmsnarl then blast through his ace.

That was the closest fight in Pokmeon I've ever had.

I know knock off is more commonly used but I find Darkest Lariat such a good dark STAB for Incineroar. Being able to ignore defense buffs on a physical mon when Archaludon exists? Fuck yeah. Of course I have special attackers more set for countering Archudon but getting that damage through stamina is amazing, especially if they bait a surging strikes from my Urshifu and switch into it for the defense boosts
