#DN's bs
Nothing would be any funnier than, for some goddamn reason, Pixiv translating OdoKyo (Klapollo ship name in Japanese) into Jove/Klavier. Meanwhile the equivalent kanji tag is left untranslated.
Tumblr media
Whoever assigning translation to that particular tag name must've been drunk. Also fuck you, I though I'd see some rarepair ship or something and instead got vanilla Klapollo.

🍋 Lemon Boy 🍋
-Alternate Ending-
Happy 1 Year to the fic that started it all!
I wrote this ANGST-FILLED ending, then after putting it aside for a few days, hated myself and this fucking stupid idea, so I wrote the actual ending on my phone while on a 4 hour flight to Las Vegas... enjoy (feel free to make fun of me 🤡)
| Mello & Matt | ~500 words | The alt ending starts below the cut at “BANG!” | read the original work Here |
...
“Mello, I’m so sorry.” Matt was losing control, “This was… was all… all my fault.” Matt broke, crumbling to the ground under the realization that he had gotten her killed. And the worst part was that he might have lost his lifelong friend as well. “Mello, you know I’ve never been as diligent as you. Even back at Wammy’s that was the case. I fucked up, I know.”
Mello had a death threat written in his growing pitch-black pupils. He strutted closer to Matt and put the barrel of the gun right up to his forehead. “You. You got her killed. This is your penance.”
Matt looked up at Mello. “I did. I was the one who got her killed. And I will never forgive myself for that.”
Mello cocked the hammer of the weapon.
Matt’s mind had come to a surprising conclusion. That he deserved to die for his carelessness. He didn’t want to, but it was a sacrifice he would willing give to his best friend.
Mello put his finger on the trigger.
“Do it.” Matt whispered.
Mello hesitated.
Matt finally spoke what he had been thinking. “It’s okay, Mels. This is what I deserve.” Matt looked up at Mello and closed his wet and swollen eyes, accepting his fate.
Mello counted down in his head.
“3” Something about this felt wrong, but what else was he supposed to do?
“2” She was gone, this was the only way to put things right. Right?
“1” No. There was only one way to put things back to the way he wanted them to be...well, almost.
“0” Ok, now. Mello’s finger began to tighten around the trigger, but not before he pointed the barrel under his own chin.
“Mels, no!” Matt, in feeling the firearm move from his head, instinctually and in one swift motion stood and grabbed Mello’s arm at the wrist and yanked it away, angling the barrel forward and away from Mello’s head before he could realize, let alone react.
BANG!!!
He was alive but something still wasn’t right. Matt looked into Mello’s eyes. Matt’s face was beginning to pale. Mello looked down to his hand, still clutching metal, and saw blood gushing out of the wound in Matt’s chest. What had he done?
Matt smiled. “It’s ok.” He fell to his knees and would’ve fallen entirely into the dirt if Mello hadn’t caught him first.
The light in Matt’s eyes was fading fast. His eyelids fluttered as he coughed up red, trying to speak. “Mihael,” Matt was barely audible, “Will… you ever…” there was a long pause followed be a labored inhale, “forgive me?” Matt stared up into Mello’s eyes in search of the forgiveness he sought. That would be the last face he ever saw.
Mello answered Matt’s question, knowing full well he would never be blessed with a reply. “Oh Matty…” his voice shook failing to hold his fragile composure, “I already have.”
Mello looked back down. His eyes were swollen, but the tears had stopped. He glanced at the weapon… and then at lemon keychain. Both of which he had dropped. He pondered his options, and in one swift motion chose one to pick up, just as the rain began to fall.

THAT PART, TEA! the bts bs makes it HARD, actually IMPOSSIBLE to ride for dn bc it’s ridiculously OBVIOUS she doesn’t ride for or support her black co workers. no one is saying she has to join cp’s fight for equal treatment, but dn seems to ACTIVELY feed into the “cp isn’t liked” narrative on set by excluding her in takeovers every.single. TIME is just disgusting. & i believe dn is a hater. she’s been in the biz since before biggie was in underroos & she probably jelly cp had a hit show with her FIRST lead role. well dn, that’s bc cp can ACT & u can’t relate.

We keep being recommended that hyena person and we interacted (negatively) with one of their posts.
Are they a common sight? Is everyone dealing with hyena person?
Here's the short answer: Hyena m8 is someone who is going to go after you if you don't block them first. I sincerely hope your negative interaction was just calling out BS on their page and not harassment as that is not condoned or supported on this page. /nm
Here's the long answer:
Heads Up: Idk anyone's pronouns so everyone is referred to as They/Them. CW: Harassment, All Threats, Doxxing and Sexual Situations Involving those Under 18,
Little Mx. Hyena person is an "alter" from Queer Atusim's system. I'm not qualified to say whether or not QA is actually a system or not (though I have opinions and if we wanna talk opinions someone can send an ask on my opinion on the situation). QA is a "pro-endo" which essentially means they believe you can be a system (trauma response/disorder) without trauma. Endos want to de-medicalize systemhood all together and that in and of itself is dangerous.
QA started off being anti-psyche and anti-recovery and encouraged people to stop seeing doctors, therapists, etc. for their conditions. Sometimes they would get called out on this BS. At some point along the line they either discovered a legitimate system or decided it would be cool and fun to roll play. Which it was I'm not qualified to say.
Naturally after becoming such a pro-endo system they got into syscourse. They originally just made posts bashing people who believe a medical disorder should stay a medical disorder. Honestly, syscourse shouldn't even be a debate and I'm pissed off the internet lets it keep going.
The Anti-Endo (educated) community decided it would be funny (and it was) to in turn, retaliate against the misinformation being spread by the pro-endo community. One of their leaders being Queer Autism.
Queer Autism, instead of just being normal and blocking people, retaliated against the Anti-Endos with verbal harassment in DMS, Asks and on posts.
Queer ADHD was another blog involved and was very supportive of Queer Autism. Queer ADHD was objectively more harmful than Queer Autism. ADHD was found reblogging posts of minors and making sexual suggestions and innuendos on said posts.
Autism continued to harass the anti-endos who retaliated against those who were like "Can you PLEASE leave us victims of severe childhood trauma alone? Like fr can you please leave this space. It was not meant for you." Autism did not leave the space that was never theirs to begin with. Autism just continued to harass and support harassment.
About a month ago (of posting this) there was a very large threat of being doxxed if you were anti-endo. I thankfully was not doxxed but MANY systems were. Autism was suspected to be (one of) the doxxer(s) though that was never confirmed true or false. Regardless, someone who was in support of Queer Autism (if it wasn't them) was doxxing people and Autism KNEW that it was one of their supporters but said nothing. Not even a PSA or short post from them not condoning the doxxer's behaviour. Their silence on the situation was deafening. One minor who had to escape an abuser was doxxed, said abuser was able to find them after being doxxed.
In addition to being doxxed Autism's supporters were sending disgusting messages to people in anons. Many of these messages were saying things like "you deserve your trauma", or "I hope you get r*ped/Be*t/K*dn*pped/ etc." These people were also using racial slurs at known systems of colour. What makes this situation even worse is most of their targets were minors.
Of course, the Anti-Endos who were adults stepped up to defend systems who were minors. This resulted in Queer Autism getting a LOT of backlash. Clearly this made them very angry. Angry enough to create a new blog. The entire purpose of the blog is to verbally harass people (probably mostly minors) over the internet. They also state in their main post that they'll be breaking people's DNIs because they just don't care. It says something else in the pinned but I'm pretty sure they're looking at NO ONE's DNI.
With Autism's past this Hyena blog is dangerous. I mean, I hate to say it but, this blog is probably going to cause some serious physical harm to people.
My theory about this blog is that some poor minor somewhere is going to get it int heir head that they will be able to change the ideals of this lost cause and only get hurt in the process. Whether this leads to relapse in bad coping mechanism or dare I say the loss of a life I don't know but it really shouldn't come to that. Why do I think this will happen? Because I was a minor at one point who thought I could change lost causes over the internet. There's bound to be someone else out there who falls victim to this.
Overall; Hyena is just down right dangerous. Please, DO NOT INTERACT with them. Block them as fast as you can. Queer Autism and their system is a total lost cause. DO NOT engage in any syscourse with them. They have the suspected potential to be able to doxx you. At the very least they'll harass you continuously.
To Reiterate: DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE BLOGS! BLOCK THEM! Your Safety could be potentially at risk!

Last night I got high and wrote a program to find all of the unused elemental symbols. It turns out there’s 585 of them and it’s much less interesting the next day.
One interesting finding: I couldn’t be bothered to generate all possible one and two letter strings, so I asked ChatGPT to write me code that would do all that for me. It worked surprisingly well!

Basically, there are 360 symbols assigned phonetic value from either English vowels/diphthongs or consonants/consonant clusters, numbers range from 0-359.
I have no idea how to make a table for that, but here's a link to a Google Doc with all the symbols numbered. Note that /ʔ/ is a "zero" character.

Just some Light thoughts (pun)
personally I don’t like the idea of Light being controlled by the death note or somehow just forced into committing all the atrocities he did.
i fell in love with death note and Light bc of the fact he was the perfect son/student who managed to become a villain, and like it wasn’t a completely ridiculous leap. we see very little of preKira!Light or Yotsuba!Light even, but we definitely see the fact he is isolated from his peers (superiority complex?), he justifies everything he does and he does seem to have a childish notion of justice
some HCs i personally have about his upbringing is that whilst his parents weren’t abusive, they embodied the typical toxicity stemming from asian cultures (source: i am also the asian firstborn in my family) like his parents disregarding his feelings, soichiro trying to model his son after himself, expect perfect grades, expecting him to have the perfect nuclear family to carry on the family name or some BS. trust me personally, that is a lot of pressure that u do become a control-freak; its really not that unbelievable to see Light become a villain
everything about Light after Kira was always there, but continuing to write in or leaving the death note was his crossroads and he made his choice
L thing is that’s what makes death note amazing to me?? bc we have a lot of characters who don’t do the right/wrong thing “just because”, but because they have their own selfish reason for doing so. like even L the hero/antagonist isn’t the world’s greatest detective bc he’s altruistic, he does it bc it challenges him
upon my first reading of death note, i struggled initially to comprehend why Kira was wrong. then i thought about it, and the first idea that came to me was that even if you have justification for killing, then you always would’ve been okay with killing (unless ofc in specific situations). take Light for example, ppl think Yotsuba!Light is OOC but i just think that Kira!Light was Yotsuba!Light with a complete disregard for what society thought was acceptable; ergo he didn’t repress his ‘undesirable traits’ like his superiority complex or the dark thoughts he’d get. he is uninhibited. for Light, being Kira isn’t about killing; we see from the first few chapters that he actually loses weight and pukes the first time with Shibuimaru, so no, it’s not about the act. but it is still about power. to me, being Kira was about taking control when he had very little in his own life, plus he was bored and bc if anyone could, it would be him. No one else could ‘handle’ it like him
i also prefer the manga ending for Light over the anime ending. Light, especially at that point, would’ve never regretted anything. he has the superiority complex of a god to the point that he refuses to be wrong. i acc HC that Light also doesn’t completely plan everything to a tee (although he is very smart still), but when things go wrong, he adapts and takes advantage of it and still says “everything is going according to plan”. it is acc so beautiful/poignant/powerful/poetic to me that this guy, with a superiority complex so big he kills off a hundred thousand+ people, ends up in MU; a place where everyone is equal no matter what
for me, personally (u can disagree tho), Light becomes rlly boring if his actions are justified or redeemed. most of the characters in DN actually become rlly boring to me if they’re completely shown to be good/bad

This is a tracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.
This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (appearance → show hidden categories) is set.
These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).
"Unprintworthy" redirects are redirect pages on Wikipedia that aid online navigation, but would have little or no value as pointers to target articles in a hard-copy book. The name of a redirect may be unprintworthy for a number of reasons, including being nearly identical to the name of the target page, containing typographical errors, or not being encyclopaedic. Redirects are not unprintworthy just because the name may be offensive to some, unless the name is also not encyclopaedic.

Ok, but... Terf ideaology is literally science denial like antivax bs is. There is the vast majority of scientist in the field saying sex is bimodal and different from gender. The vast majority of scientists saying trans people are valid and health professionals saying gender affirming care is lifesaving.
Terfs deny science. All transphobes deny science. Every time I've brought out peer reviewed articles and evidence to a discussion with a transphobe, they've been denied and I've been told to go read a textbook that is out of date and/or simplified.
Not to mention, I've been told I'm not actually demisexual because that wasn't the definition of it... When the definition they gave me is literally what I explained prior.
I would really encourage you to watch all three parts of Caelan Conrad's videos on Terf is a Cult. They really breakdown the science denial and harm this ideaology brings about to not just trans people but everyone.
Lmao
I'm gonna answer an ask like this once and then never again. I usually delete. My ask box is not a TRA complaint box. DN fucking I.
Go read @/not-your-intersex-pawn 's blog and those
I will take a look at the TERF is a Cult thing at some point (not now, much better things to do lol) because it's likely projection and sometimes it's funny watching y'all scramble to pin on us what you do all the time
@auntiewanda has long since proven with BITE model comparison that genderism is the cult

Thank you for your response about the harmful tropes. I completely agree, that’s definitely another difference is the bts stuff. I’m not sure if that person that made the comparison is aware of the bts bs that DN does but it does make a huge difference on whether Iris/WA fans will put any energy into advocating for her character when she’s been shown to be so disrespectful towards C in recent seasons
