You're not powerful enough to ruin God's plan for you.
In case you thought you blew it.
In case you thought you were too far gone.
In case you are stuck in fear.
Rest in the fact that God is a God of redemption, and He knows your limitations.
Psalm 103:13-14 reminds us: "As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust."
If you're seeking to honor God, you're exactly where you need to be. He sees your heart, your sacrifices, and your obedience. It's not about perfection, but submission. God fulfills His plans through willing hearts.
Please don't think that you messed up the story.
Continue to show up faithfully, and know that God, in His faithfulness, will do His part and direct your path. 🌿

“but where sin abounded, grace abounded much more” - romans 5:20 -
no matter how far you have gone or how many times you have messed up, the grace of God is greater and bigger than any sin you could ever commit. He is always faithful to forgive those who will repent and turn to Him. Do not let shame or guilt keep you from experiencing the forgiveness and freedom found in Christ.

Grace
Grace is a gift.
Why?
Because it is given to the recipient whether he or she deserves it.
It is not a reward that requires merit. It is not something that we can earn according to our own righteousness, but only through the righteousness imputed by Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 3:9). If we believe in Jesus Christ and what He did for us, we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Grace offers us an opportunity to be sons and daughters of the one true living God. To be able to call out to our Father, “Abba!” and have a relationship with Him, no longer separated by sin. Grace is the difference between approaching the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) with confidence and preparing animal sacrifices with shame.
Grace is freedom from the Law (Romans 7:6).
Grace is what saves us. The Law is what shows us how filthy, sinful, and imperfect we are by nature.
The gentle urgings of grace towards righteousness is more effective in reaching the “unreachable” than the stern, accusatory bark of the Law.
Don’t be confused, though. Grace is not an excuse to sin. In fact, it encourages us to do better. All we have to do is truly recognize the scandalous nature of God’s gift. How it accepts, and even searches for us when we’ve gone astray. It’s the arms that warmly embraces the prodigal son, a proper disgrace in society’s eyes, after excitedly running over to greet him. It’s the Shepherd that won’t stop looking for the lost sheep, even if the rest of the ninety-nine are safe. It’s the scale that is far more concerned with equality than justice.
That being said, the tenderness and fondness a Creator would ought to have for His creation to understand the consequences of such a gift, and give it anyway -- that’s enough to stop anyone in their tracks. Well, at least anyone in need of grace.
Grace is what allures the sick and condemned to the place of healing. That includes the prostitutes, homosexuals, and convicts. The critical, exclusive nature of the Law is what bars them out.
The Law is what nailed Jesus to the cross. Grace is what exonerates us from that same fate.
I choose the gift that was so necessary, it required the ultimate sacrifice: the blood of my Savior, hung on a cross.
What do you choose?

Unspiritual Spiritual Gifts- Exodus 31:1-11
After God instructed Israel to craft all of the specialty, custom items for the tent of meeting, He reveals that He has gifted certain individuals by His Spirit for the purpose of crafting these pieces artistically. God takes the credit for gifting His people for craftsmanship according to His own plans for the production of His own things. People knew they were gifted by the Spirit to do…

Quiet Time 3/19
What am I feeling today?
Tired but excited and grateful! Today is my last clinical rotation on the stroke unit and as much as I enjoyed it, I’m really looking forward to being able to rest and have my Tuesdays open!
Bible Plan: Spiritual Wilderness
In my younger years, it was hard for me to continue my devotions when I didn’t feel His presence for a while. It was discouraging, but I have learned a few things that have changed my perspective.
One thing I learned is that God promises to reward those who fervently seek Him, not who only find Him. We don’t seek God because He is lost. He is always near to us because His Spirit lives within us. We go to prayer not to find God but to be with Him. With that said, there are seasons in life where it seems and feels like His manifest presence is gone.
During these seasons you must understand that God is building up your faith since Jesus is the author and perfecter of your faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, and this faith gets stronger as your feelings get weaker. You are forced to rely only on God’s Word, not on your feelings or experiences. In seasons of your spiritual wilderness, only faith can help you come closer to God. If you live by your feelings, you will feel distant from God. When you go to God’s throne in spite of your negative feelings, you are building your faith.
I find it encouraging that He is not a rewarder of those who feel or experience Him but of those who do their best to seek Him.
King David was called “a man after His own heart”. God didn’t say that David had His heart; he was simply after it. David was in constant pursuit of God. In reading the Psalms that he wrote, we see his heart’s journey into the presence of God. At times he would complain that he didn’t feel God, yet he was still seeking after Him. God likes that. He wants us to pursue Him, even when we don’t feel like it.
In fact, not only does God love that we pursue Him, but He also rewards us. This truth has been the source of my encouragement. I don’t submit to my feelings, but I let my faith grow by going to God no matter what’s happening in my life.
There’s so much to get from this and I thought it was incredible! First off, seeking Him over finding Him. You can find God once because He’s not far from any one of us, but seeking Him is a daily thing. You have to consistently go after Him day after day, acknowledging Him when you feel like it is not biblically sound.
Additionally with the seeking, relying on His word instead of your feelings. The heart is deceitful and your feelings are not always accurate. We can sometimes let ourselves be controlled by our feelings and let them direct how we operate but that can lead us down the wrong path. God’s word will always be right and ready for you, so read it, use it, apply it, keep it in your heart!
1 Samuel 13:13-14 NIV
““You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.””
For reference, this is Samuel rebuking Saul and the one who talks about in regard to who the Lord has sought out is David. Even though David struggled a lot, He always sought after God, seeking Him daily and I really want to imitate that as best I can.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
I mean this is very self explanatory and emphasizes the importance of our faith and seeking after God every single day.
Hebrews 12:1-2 NIV
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
“Let us run with perseverance” -> I want to place some emphasis on this. We can get tired and weary in our walk with God, especially when we’re in the spiritual wilderness where even our own emotions can be attacking our faith. But God wants us to persevere, we need to have our hearts set on the goal of it all, to be reunited with God after death! Also, Jesus is meant to guide us in this! He’s the perfected of our faith! Without him, we’d have no chance in having a relationship with God and it’s important to remember and be grateful for what he did for us on the cross.

“Rescue me from my enemies, Lord, for I hide myself in you. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.” —Psalm 143:9-10 (NIV)
“Safe in God’s Hiding Place” By Joyce Meyer:
“David prays in today’s scriptures that God will lead him on level ground. I have always thought of this as a request for God to keep him emotionally stable. David was being pursued by his enemies and declared that God was his hiding place. When I pray, I often ask God to hide me in Him. We are kept safe in Him.
David had many opportunities to become flustered and allow his emotions to affect him in negative ways, so he prayed that God would keep him level or stable. Emotional stability is very important. We all have emotions, but we should not let them have us. With God’s help, we can learn to manage them instead of allowing them to manage us. We can live beyond our feelings by knowing and acting on God’s Word rather than on the way we feel.
We cannot do this by willpower alone; we need God’s grace. We need His help and power because emotions can be very strong, and without God’s help, they will lead us in wrong directions.
Have you been allowing your feelings to control you? If so, begin today to ask God to lead you on level ground.
Prayer of the Day: Father, I am sorry for letting my emotions lead me at times and I ask You to keep me stable and lead me on level ground.”

Hi, friends. As some of you know, I broke my arm last weekend. So badly I had to get surgery. Over this last week I’ve had my arm manually pried back into place, I’ve been sliced open, stabbed with many many many needles, endured so much acute pain I just wanted to turn my brain off, and enjoyed countless other unpleasant medical emergency pastimes. I’ve noticed a little uptick in my shop sales recently, which is probably just coincidence. But if you’ve ever wanted to support me and the work I do, know that now is the perfect time to do so. I have insurance through work but it’s terrible (lol America), and I don’t have any remaining paid leave. These looming financial obstacles are making me very nervous and though I’m sure I’ll be okay, the additional income I make through my art is always such a comfort and a blessing. Thanks y’all, and make sure to wear your safety gear next time you’re out roller skating– it’s no joke yikes!! Shop is here.

Your lowest point doesn't have to be the end of the story.
I reread the book of Jonah (yes, the Jonah who was in the belly of the great fish 🐋), and something stuck out to me like never before:
Jonah was running from God. And yet God *still* prepared a place to meet with him.
In the middle of a storm, Jonah is thrown overboard from the ship he boarded after running from God's instruction for him, yet God already had a plan of mercy. Jonah 1:17 says that God PROVIDED a great fish to swallow up Jonah.
What a great act of love -- not only did He spare Jonah's life, but He provided an environment where Jonah could be alone, recognize his need for God, and turn back to the faithful God he was running from.
In the belly of a fish, the most absurd circumstances, God met with Jonah.
Maybe you've been running for quite some time now.
Maybe you've been distracted.
Maybe you've been restless.
Maybe you've been running from fear, disappointment, insecurity, or pain.
Maybe you're upset with God.
Maybe you've turned your back on Him.
I'll tell you this: Don't be so quick to run from the opportunity you've been given to know God more intimately.
Even in the running, God pursues you and never stops loving you. He wants to meet with you. Even in your hurts, questions, and uncertainties. This very place is your opportunity to speak with Him, to stop doing things your way, and by your own strength. You can't keep doing this alone.
God wants to give you rest. God wants to meet with you. Even here. God is so good that He creates purpose and restoration in the most unexpected circumstances.

Food and Drink- Exodus 29:31-46
Earlier, we saw the table of presence given as a reminder that God intended to eat and drink with His people. With the sacrifice of Christ, God would pull His own mercy seat up to the table because the veil would be torn. This eating and drinking imagery permeates all of the religious practices God instructs Israel to observe. Here, that which is sacrificed is given to consecrate and sustain the…
