6 things to remember:

You're playing in a team. Not versus. It's you against the problem, not you against eachother.

Problems have layers. Be sure to section each layer during the discussion, one thing at the time. Small problems are way more manageble to overcome, than a big ass one.

The majority of the time, things are not black or white. Be willing to compromise, find your shade of gray.

Both of your emotional experiece are valid. Be willing to listen to listen, not listen to respond.

You're having an argument because you both want to feel peace. You want the other person to feel happy and secure. You don't want eachother to feel like crap.

In an argument you're either triggered or not triggered. If you're triggered you're going to be fearful and defensive, if you're not triggered you're going to be warm and understanding. To overcome the argument you both need to not be triggered. Find what you and your partner need in order to do so.

Bonus point: arguments require aftercare. Take a moment to find what works best for you and your partner.

Here's Al', and Catherine who always goes by Cat. Cat is Aloïs' crush/girlfriend/depends on the day. Their relationship is a pure DISASTER. Mostly because of Aloïs' lack of empathy and his inability to express feelings, they argue quite oftenly. Cat loves him but feels overwhelmed by his control obsession. She's quite the normal person with no traumas or disorders, so she doesn't understand how Aloïs works and doesn't let him enough personal space. Aloïs often hurts her in a psychological way by accident and can't help having toxic reflexes towards her. Also he's really BAD at flirting or understanding innuendo, so he never knows if Cat still loves him or not x')

They've known each other for many years and have been together a lot of times, but it never works and always ends up in a break or break-up. Despite all these failures, they keep coming back to each other because they're deeply in love. That's one complicate relationship which makes both of them suffer...

i feel like im in a weird demographic when it comes to the percy jackson live action series because of the age i was when i read them. cause i read the lightning thief for the first time when i was in single digits, so percy being twelve seemed appropriately grown up. and then as i got further into the series and into heroes of olympus, percy got older with me, and was always kinda broadly my age or a little older. so like, the movie cast was too old when that happened, because they were way older than me. but now the series cast is actual twelve year olds (or so) and they are so obviously just little babies that im now forced to confront the fact that uhhh percy was in fact a fuckin child when all this started??? exCUSE ME???
