Make a post recommending a fic you love from at least a year ago. Dust off the archives, dig through your AO3 history and share those old fics with newer fans who might not have seen them - and the fans who’ve been around forever and might want to revisit an old fave.
My tastes tend to stray toward AUs most of the time, but sometimes I do love a good canon compliant fic. Missing scenes are lovely. Scenes from another character's perspective are great. Post-canon is even better, particularly when it's Pynch navigating through early adulthood together with their magic still in tact.
This week I'm recommending move your feet from hot pavement (and into the grass) by CoraRochester. In this fic, they're a little older, Adam's about to graduate from a college much closer to the Barns, and they have a routine where Ronan drives up and spends every weekend with him. They're just so comfortable with one another and the anticipation they have for spending the rest of their lives together is palpable in the fic. It almost feels like a happy ending and the start of something all at once. It's also pretty hot.
