Desde hoy, TVN emitirá el torneo Conmebol Copa América Futsal 2024.
Tras el éxito en sintonía del Preolímpico Sub-23, TVN transmitirá los partidos de Chile en este nuevo desafío deportivo.
La pasión por el deporte no se detiene en la pantalla de TVN y desde este fin de semana la señal pública acompañará nuevamente a los seleccionados nacionales, esta vez será en el campeonato de futsal de la Conmebol Copa América Paraguay 2024.
“La Roja” enfrentará el desafío continental entre el viernes 2 y el sábado 10 de febrero con la ilusión de conseguir uno de los cuatro cupos disponibles para Copa Mundial de Futsal de la FIFA Uzbekistán que también se desarrollará este año.
Los nacionales compartirán el Grupo A con Venezuela, Paraguay, Ecuador y Colombia con los dos mejores de cada zona clasificando a las semifinales. Los partidos de la selección en la primera fase serán los siguientes:
– Viernes 2 de febrero: Chile vs. Venezuela en el trasnoche
– Sábado 3 de febrero: Chile vs. Paraguay (19.15 – en vivo)
– Domingo 4 de febrero: Chile vs. Ecuador (17.00 – en vivo)
– Martes 6 de febrero: Chile vs. Colombia en el trasnoche
Las transmisiones de este fin de semana tendrán la conducción de Gonzalo Fouillioux y los relatos de Fabián Astudillo marcando un nuevo compromiso del Área Deportiva de TVN con un sinfín de deportes en los que Chile tiene participación.

The 37th Copa America 2024 reveals all the details of its calendar
he official calendar for the 37th Copa America has been announced, revealing crucial details of the event. The last phase of this prestigious competition will begin on August 22nd with the third preliminary race and will culminate on October 21st with the grand final. Organizers shared detailed information about the third preliminary race, the Louis Vuitton Cup, in which the challengers participate and the decisive stage of the tournament.
The six contending teams will participate in the preliminary regatta from August 22nd to 25th in Barcelona, using for the first time the new AC75s with which they will officially compete. This event will take place at the Barcelona regatta course. Immediately afterwards, on August 29, 2024, the challenger tournament, the Louis Vuitton Cup, will begin. The format of this competition will include two 'round robins' (double matches between all teams) involving all six participants, including the current defending champion, Emirates Team New Zealand.
According to the established rules, the results of meetings during the 'round robin' phase between a challenger and the defender will not affect the qualification for the semi-finals. The four best challengers will advance to the semi-final stage of the Louis Vuitton Cup, while the last one will be eliminated. The best placed in the 'round robins' will have the privilege of choosing their opponent in the semi-finals, which will be played in a best of nine regattas, meaning the first to achieve five victories will advance.
As for the Louis Vuitton Cup grand final, the winners of the semi-finals will compete in a best-of-thirteen race series, and the winner will be the first to achieve seven wins. This decisive clash will take place from October 12th and is expected to end on October 21st, although additional days have been reserved from October 22nd to 27th in case they are needed.
In addition, the schedule for youth and women's competitions was announced. The Copa America Jovem, for male or mixed crews under 25 years old, will be played from September 17th to 26th, while the Puig Women's Copa America will be held from October 5th to 13th.
Grant Dalton, CEO of Emirates Team New Zealand and America's Cup Events (ACE), spoke about his team's rivals in this edition: “This is probably the highest level of challengers we have seen in the America's Cup in the last 25 years, and the winner will emerge strengthened by the intensity of the Louis Vuitton Cup. As for Emirates Team New Zealand, we will have already seen the competitiveness in the Round Robin stage, but it will be a very different and interesting challenge that we will have to overcome in the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match. It will be a classic World Cup competition.”
He also highlighted the importance of the Copa America Jovem and Copa America Femenina Puig: “This is the maximum global exposure for our young and female participants. These will be very difficult competitions to win, where all the regatta disciplines will be tested. The winners of each event will be catapulted onto the world stage and we will certainly see future Copa America legends emerge. It’s an exciting yet demanding format designed to test athletes to the max.”
The Copa America 2024 calendar is distributed as follows:
– Third preliminary race: from 22 to 25 August
– Louis Vuitton Cup Round Robins: from August 29th to September 8th
– Louis Vuitton Cup Semifinals: September 14th to 19th
– Louis Vuitton Cup Finals: September 26th to October 5th
– Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match: from October 12th to 21st

Tickets now on sale for Concacaf Nations League Play-In matches in Dallas
Concacaf has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League (CNL) Play-In doubleheader, which will be played on Saturday, March 23, at Toyota Stadium. These matches will determine the two remaining Concacaf nations participating in the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024. Also, tickets for the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League Finals (CNLF) presented by Qatar Airways at AT&T Stadium on March 21 and 24 are still available.
These decisive and exciting matches, featuring the region's eight best men's national teams, will all take place in the Dallas Metropolitan Area during the March FIFA Match Window.
The CNL Play-In between the four CNL Quarterfinal losers will take place on Saturday, March 23, at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX. The two direct elimination matches, Canada (1) vs Trinidad and Tobago (4) and Costa Rica (2) vs Honduras (3), will determine the last two Concacaf guest national teams qualifying for next summer's CONMEBOL Copa America.
Tickets for the CNL Play-In doubleheader at Toyota Stadium will be made available to the public at Concacaf.com/nationsleaguefinals starting on Friday, January 26 at 10:00 am CT (11:00 am ET).
The third edition of the CNLF will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, amongst the four CNL Quarterfinal winners. The tournament's Semifinals, scheduled for Thursday, March 21, will see Panama (1) vs Mexico (4) and United States (2) vs Jamaica (3). The Third-Place match and Final will follow on Sunday, March 24.
To determine the CNLF Semifinal pairings, Concacaf ranked the four participating national teams 1-4 based on the CNL Quarterfinal results (standings available here), with the national team that accumulated the most points facing the national team that accumulated the least points (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3).
The Semifinal winners will advance to the Final, where the tournament's third champion will be crowned after the United States won the first two editions (2021 in Denver, CO, and 2023 in Las Vegas, NV). The Semifinal losers will dispute the Third Place Match.
Tickets are still available for the CNLF doubleheaders at AT&T Stadium via Concacaf.com/nationsleaguefinals.

Esta magnífica foto capta al argentino Manuel Seoane (1902-1975) en plena acción, Jugó de delantero y se destacó en Independiente. Con la albiceleste ganó las Copas América de 1925, 1927 y 1929, siendo designado el mejor jugador del torneo en las dos primeras.
