Btw.. do you have any classics rec rn.. any classic i should try.. I'm thinking of trying little women (I've read in extracts but never full)
ELIZABETH BENNETT HAS MY HEART OH MY GOD kendbdbdbs
(yes Mr. Darcy's nervous energy + EVERYTIME he gets obliterated by Elizabeth like DAMN its gold)
Cassic recs ooh ooh :
Okay so I am gonna admit, that I read most of my classics at age 10, so a lot of them are quite fuzzy in my mind, i'll try to pick out some which were nice (and NOT dipped in innecessary pedophilia dip)
Animal Farm by George Orwell just blew my mind for WEEKS coz that was the first time that I had read someone just fire a million guns at like, democracy, governments, society..
Little Women by Jane Austen - SAME i haven't read the whole novel, i've read some extracts and main chapters, and even watched both the films, and it is a pretty good commentary on how little financial independence women had back then.
What Katy Did by Sarah Chauncey Woolsey - okay so this is not exactly as *intense* or *serious* as the previous two, it is kinda like a children's book, about the adventure of this girl named Katy with her siblings, but yeah
Also, I remember reading Heidi, but its plot is really fuzzy in my mind, but okie take this too
The other classics i read were sorta problematic and left me quite uncomfortable even at age 10, like Daddy-Long-Legs. Not very happy with it.
Anyways, i hope you like these recs! I had planned to read Sense and Sensibility too, but never got around to reading it. I hope i'll read it soon! Frankly, i kinda stopped reading classics after 9th grade, so I am very sorry that the plots are sorta mush -- my brain is more well versed with modern-ish novels now. Anyways, tell me if you need any novel recs!
HAPPY READING! <3
