Wishful Thinking || A 'Hazbin Hotel' Tickle Fic (100 Follower Special)
Tumblr media
Summary: Vox's obsession with Alastor is no secret, but the true extent and nature of said obsession is an entirely different story. As his thoughts grow increasingly consumed by his rival, Vox finds it harder and harder to think about anything else, ultimately coming to a head with a very interesting discovery.
Content Warnings: Canon-typical language, brief mild violence, use of restraints, a lil' bit of blackmail, and Vox being a thirsty bitch for Alastor (because we love a good dose of one-sided attraction). Also, not really a warning, but any scenes that take place in somebody's head are in blue and italics (you'll see what I mean as you read).
Word Count: 3,669 words.
Vox couldn't fucking stand Alastor.
His stupid smile, his stupid voice, those stupid powers that allowed him to crush anyone in his way like an insect. The man was infuriating, always acting so calm and in control, even after Vox managed to get the drop on him that fateful day seven years ago. It was like nothing could touch him in any MEANINGFUL way, a fact that frustrated Vox to no end.
Yes, Alastor was nothing but a big pain in the ass, constantly doing anything in his power to screw with Vox, oftentimes broadcasting it for the entirety of Pride to witness.
Worst of all was the way that he infiltrated Vox's processor, filling his head with fantasies he had no way of controlling without shutting himself down completely. And it wasn't even intentional! That bastard had no idea what he was doing, or if he did, he gave no indication of it! No, he just kept on smiling that stupid grin, making those passive aggressive remarks, acting like he wasn't the thing consuming Vox's mind nearly twenty-four hours a day.
Vox watched the surveillance footage captured earlier that morning, feeling his breath hitch at the staticky image being displayed. He could just barely make out Alastor's form through the distortion (another thing that Vox hated about him; the bastard made it damn near impossible to get a clear image of him), standing outside the doors of little Princess Morningstar's hotel discussing something unintelligible with that winged cat sinner who often hung around him.
Through the grainy audio, he could just make out Alastor barking out a laugh, the sound itself laced with static and radio interference. The deer demon's shoulders shook, his ears pinning back slightly as he chortled, his companion letting out an irritated huff in response.
How many times had Vox watched the clip now? He had honestly lost count. He didn't know why he kept returning to that particular moment of footage; nothing particularly useful or interesting was occurring. Just a regular conversation, from what he could tell. There was just...something in the other overlord's moment of mirth that captured his full attention, setting something ablaze within the TV demon.
More; he wanted to hear more.
Tumblr media
The lights flickered, the sound of screeching radio filling the air, accompanied by something entirely different.
Giggling, pure and hysterical.
Alastor lurched forwards, hands latched onto Vox's wrists as he tried to lean forward and away from the other demon, who held him firmly against his chest. "Rehehehehelease me at ohohohohonce!" The usually composed overlord was a mess, face tinted a bright shade of red, eyes crinkled with mirth as another wave of snickers shook his frame. "Shihihihihihihit!"
Vox chuckled, leaning forward to croon into Alastor's ear, which immediately flicked at the feeling of the other's warm breath. "What's the matter, old man? Too ticklish?" He sang, smirk widening. "What would the public think, knowing the famed Radio Demon is so...sensitive..." He growled the last part, low and teasing, resulting in a shriek of microphone feedback from Alastor. "Perhaps I should turn on some of my cameras, hm? I doubt you could focus on messing with them while your giggling so hard. I could let all of Hell know just how much of a ticklish little-"
Vox blinked, pulled from his daydream by a raised brow from Velvette. "Vox, are you listening to me? This is important shit! I need to make sure you're on top of the advertisements for my new collection if we are going to see any substantial sales!"
Vox cleared his throat, trying to urge his screen to COOL THE FUCK DOWN before his flusteredness became obvious. "Apologies, I seem to have gotten distracted. You were saying, my sweet?"
Tumblr media
Vox chuckled, watching his rival's squirming form, bound to the chair with the purest grade of angelic steel money could buy.
Only the best for this occasion.
"Well, well! Look what the cat dragged in!" Vox laughed, walking in circles around Alastor, taking in every detail of the scene before him. He was going to relish thing; savor it. He had waited so long to have the other at his mercy, and now he was going to take his sweet time and ENJOY the fruits of his labor. "You've lost your touch, old timer! It was far too easy to catch you in my little trap."
Alastor's eyes narrowed, grin tightening in a clear show of displeasure. "You would do well to remember who you are speaking to." He retorted, chin raising defiantly as Vox finally stopped in front of him.
"Oho, I remember good and well. I'm talking to the prick who has done nothing but make my life harder ever since he arrived here, and I'm going to see to it you feel every second of what's coming next." He leaned forward, locking eyes with the other overlord as he gave a grin of his own, his far more devious. "Little buck."
Vox's hand's shot out, latching onto Alastor's ribcage and beginning to claw at the boney torso. Alastor's breath hitched, his eyes widening with alarm. His grin became more strained as he jerked forward, trying to curl inwards on himself. His breathing became sporadic, lips sealed shot as a wobbly, genuine smile began to curl at the corners of his mouth. "F-Fuhuhuck!"
The TV demon laughed lowly. "Trying to hold out, are we? We'll see how long that lasts..."
Vox awoke with a start, his screen turning on as he bolted up in bed. His eyes were wide, immediately flicking over to Valentino, who lay beside him. Thankfully, the moth was still sound asleep, snoring loudly without a care in the world. Vox sighed, running a hand across his face and feeling the heat of a blush under his palm.
Damn it, this was starting to get out of control!
Tumblr media
Vox was going mad! No matter how hard he tried to clear his thoughts, they always returned back to those deep, hidden desires playing out over and over in his processor. He found himself constantly thinking about Alastor's smile, his laugh, the prospect of taking him down with a few well placed squeezes or prods. To make matters worse, Vox was having a hard time FUNCTIONING at work because of this, and he could tell the other Vees were starting to catch on that something was up.
The TV demon rung his hands together, pacing back and forth in his private office. He had to find a solution FAST or he was royally screwed!
'Damn you, Alastor!’ Vox thought, a small growl slipping out as he rubbed his forehead, flopping into his chair and turning to face one of the many spying monitors plastered to the wall. "Pull up what we have on the Hazbin Hotel." He grumbled, giving in to his urge to spy on his rival once more. Inside, he secretly hoped to catch another fleeting moment of mirth from Alastor, even if it was just a chuckle.
Three monitors came to life, showing the hotel from various angles, with one focused directly on the front entrance. Aside from his...ongoing interest in the Radio Demon, Vox liked to keep tabs on who was going in and out of the hotel, just to make sure the princess wasn't gaining any more powerful allies he needed to know about. The scene was serene, or at least as serene as a live feed of Hell COULD be, nothing out of place. It seemed luck wasn't on Vox's side, as Alastor was nowhere to be seen. The TV host felt his eye twitch in irritation, disappointment stirring within him.
Tumblr media
"You motherfucker! This is a brand new suit!" Vox yelled angrily as Alastor dodged another of his attempts to strike him.
The Radio Demon let out an amused chuckle (though unfortunately not the kind of laugh Vox had been secretly craving), one flick of his microphone sending three tentacles darting at Vox from different directions, which the other barely managed to avoid. "Really? Could have fooled me with how tacky and outdated it looks." The redhead retorted smugly.
"Oh, fuck you! I'll wipe that shit-eating grin off your face!" Vox retorted, giving up on using his powers in favor of lunging for the deer demon himself.
Alastor took a step back, Vox's claws just barely grazing the sides of his neck. The radio host opened his mouth, as if to make another snide remark, but whatever he said died in his throat and was replaced by a startled crack of microphone feedback. The two demons froze, eyes widened as they stared at each other wordless for a moment.
"What the fuck was-" Vox started, but in the blink of an eye, Alastor was gone and their fight was seemingly over.
Tumblr media
"I mean, seriously?! What the fuck WAS that?!" Vox asked himself, finding himself pacing around his private surveillance room once more. "He never runs from a fight with me! Shit, he only ran from Adam because he was about to fucking die! He was nowhere near that point today!"
Did Vox somehow managed to hurt him? No, he had thrown far worse at the Radio Demon before without leaving so much as a scratch. He had BARELY touched him, and even with his claws, it couldn't have possibly hurt. So what...
The TV demon stopped, eyes shooting wide open as his breath quickened. No...no fucking way...
Alastor was ticklish. Not just in Vox's mind's eye, not just in his secret fantasies. He was actually, tangibly ticklish, and going from the reaction one brief touch had garnered, horrifically so.
Vox's processor raced at the prospect. He had been daydreaming about turning the other overlord into a cackling puddle, wheezing for mercy through a cracked voice, but he had never actually imagined it was possible! Vox got the feeling this discover was only going to make his daydreaming problem worse, but at the moment, he couldn't bring himself to care.
Alastor was TICKLISH...
'There has to be some way I can...some trick I can pull to...' Vox's mind raced, barely able to finish a sentence. He HAD to have the other now, even if just for a brief instance. Vox NEEDED to feel that high of reducing his mortal enemy to giggling shambles; to know what it felt like to be the one to finally BREAK the feared Radio Demon. But how?
Obviously the heat of battle wasn't the best place, though it would ensure a public audience to witness his victory. He doubted Alastor would agree to a private meeting, especially after their most recent fight. And there was CERTAINLY no way Vox was going to lower himself enough to go crawling to Princess Morningstar's little hotel. No, Vox was going to have to come up with another solution.
"Something on your mind?" A voice purred from behind him, low and dangerous. Vox yelped, whipping around with widened eyes. From one of the darkened corners of the room, Alastor seeped out of the shadows, grin ever present but appearing more strained than usual. Vox felt a nervous lump form in his throat.
"What the fuck?! How did you even get in here?!" He yelled, immediately moving to hit the alarm button on his control console, only to find his wrist being suddenly restrained by a shadowy tentacle sprouting from the floor.
"Ah, ah!" Alastor tutted, taking a few steps forward. "None of that. I just want to talk." He cocked his head to the side. "And as for how I got in, let's just say your security is shockingly terrible for a demon of your status."
Vox's eyes narrowed. "If you're going to kill me, at least make it quick." He growled, attempting to put on a brave face and save a bit of his pride.
"Kill you? Why, I'm planning to do no such thing, at least not today! After all, to defeat one's rival in such a disgraceful, sneaky manner would not be becoming of either of us, would it?" Alastor chuckled, moving closer to Vox as another tentacle grabbed ahold of his other wrist, keeping the TV demon rooted firmly in place. A flash of green magic briefly passed over Alastor's eyes as he chuckled. "Though it would be quite easy for me to do so with you sooo defenseless."
Vox's brows furrowed in confusion. "Then why the hell are you here?"
"Like I said, I just want to talk." Alastor leaned forward, maintain eye contact with the shorter demon. "To ensure that you keep your trap shut about matters which do not concern you."
"What are you going on about?" Vox sighed, clearly irritated by the other's continued vagueness. He continued to stare at the other demon, who merely continued to watch him wordlessly, before it dawned on him. "You're worried I'm gonna tell somebody you're fucking ticklish?"
Alastor's eye gave the slightest twitch. "Sensitive." He corrected.
"I'm pretty sure you're ticklish." Vox retorted, taking some delight in his rival's clear displeasure. "And what makes you think holding me hostage in my own office would stop me from mentioning it during my next broadcast? You can't keep me like this forever."
The sound of microphone feedback briefly overtook the air around him, making Vox wince at the volume and pitch. "No, I can't keep you here indefinitely, but I can provide you with a little incentive to keep your trap shut." One of the tentacles coiled further down Vox's arm, the end gently brushing over the trapped overlord's armpit. Vox tensed, breath hitching as his eyes grew wide as saucers. "You see, don't think I haven't noticed your own sensitivity, Vox. In fact, I've known about it for some time."
Shit.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about! Get the fuck away from me!" Vox stammered, eyes locked onto the other's devious smirk.
"Oh, come now, don't be shy! It's not as if it was especially hard to find out about! We have fought so often, categorizing your little weak points was easy enough to accomplish!" Alastor took a step closer as the shadowy tentacle began to stroke Vox's armpit more firmly, slowly moving up and down in an agonizingly teasy motion. "I will admit, it took me some time to figure out why you often flinched at the slightest of touches during battle. However, all it took was witnessing one little tickle fight at the hotel to make everything fall into place."
Another of Alastor's tentacle slipped up, beginning to tweak at Vox's side, causing him to bite down on his lip in a desperate attempt to hold back snickers. "Those weren't the reactions of a man barely avoiding a fatal blow, those were the reactions of a man trying oh so hard to keep from giggling."
Vox felt his screen heating more and more by the second, both from embarrassment and the effort to keep his laughter bottled up. What the fuck was happening?! How was this real life?! The TV demon lurched forward, straining against the restrains as a particularly well-placed prod to his hipbone pulled a soft snort out of him. "Shuhuhut the fuck up!"
"Being stubborn, are we? I expected nothing less." Alastor chuckled, clearly amused. "Perhaps I should take a page from Angel Dust's playbook then, hm?" The other overlord suddenly materialized behind Vox, melting from the shadows and resting a clawed hand on the back of Vox's head. His grip tightened, pulling Vox's head backwards as he crooned into his ear. "Coochie coochie coo..."
Vox just about short circuited at that, the sound of loud television static filling the air. As Alastor's free hand suddenly dug into his stomach, he couldn't hold back any longer, bursting into a wave of panicked giggles. "Ohohohoho shihihihihihit!" The flood gates had opened, and Vox had no hope of closing them again, no matter how hard he tried.
"Lovely." Alastor seemed quite pleased with himself, clawed fingers scribbling across his rival's exposed midriff as the tentacles (thankfully) stopped their own attacks, now focusing on holding the TV demon nice and still.
"Fuhuhuhuhuck you! Lehehehehet mehehehe go!" Vox tried to sound threatening, he really did, but that was impossible when every word was laced with titters. He squirmed desperately, attempting to curl inwards and protect his sensitive torso, but the restraints held firm. His voice raised in pitch as Alastor zeroed in on his upper stomach, just below the ribs, refusing to acknowledge the borderline squeal he made.
"And why would I do that? I have you right where I want you; nice and helpless..." There was a low growl to Alastor's words, both threatening and teasing in the most awful of ways, sending Vox further spiraling into flusteredness. His claws began to slowly inch upwards, like a spider slowly climbing towards prey trapped in its web. "From what I have gathered, your ribs seem to be an area you're quite desperate to defend during our little fights. I wonder why that could be, hm?"
The TV host began shaking his head furiously. "Dooohohon't yohohohou fucking dahahahahare! I'll kihihihihihihill you!" He snorted, the sound of television static increasing ever so slightly.
"Oops, too late!" Alastor's claws dug in, beginning to rake across Vox's rib cage slowly, moving up to just below the armpits before cascading back down to just above the stomach.
Vox screeched, thrashing becoming downright desperate as he threw his head back with laughter. "NOHOHOHOHOHOOO! OHOHOHOHOHO MY GAHAHAHAHAHAD, STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!" His cooling systems had kicked in, the fans whirling loudly as they attempted to cool down his quickly heating form. "NAHAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHEHEHERE!"
Alastor chuckled devilishly. "Why Vox, you should know better! Everyone knows that saying "not there" only makes the attack want to exploit that spot even more." He hummed, mockingly pretending to think. "Perhaps you DID know, and you're just enjoying this so much you want me to keep going? Is that it?"
The other overlord let out a startled squeal at the feeling of something fiddling with his antenna; when had ANOTHER tentacle popped up?!
Vox face felt like it was on fire from the teasing, his laughter pitching up with flustered desperation. "SHUHUHUHUT THE FUHUHUHUHUHUHUCK UP! THAHAHAHAT'S NOHOHOHOHOT TRUE!" He denied vehemently, knees starting to go weak. After a moment, his legs gave out, but instead of slumping to the floor, Vox found himself being held up by Alastor's sentient shadow. The creature's grin widened, becoming downright feral as it let out an amused cackle at his plight.
"Whatever you say, old pal! Now, if you REALLY want this to stop, you will agree to keep what you discovered today between us alone." Alastor rested his chin on Vox's shoulder, the touch shooting a bigger shock through his nervous system than any tickling ever could. "Do we have a deal?"
Vox's processor was racing a thousand miles a minute. Fuck, why was this actually fucking fun?! What was wrong with him?! He knew he should have hated it; the powerlessness, the teasing, the terror of being so utterly defenseless in front of his greatest rival. Yet...he didn't hate it, a fact he found more flustering than any tease Alastor could have pulled out of his ass.
No, Vox did NOT want it to stop.
Still, if Vox DIDN'T give in, it would only confirm the assumption deer demon had so accurately deduced, and he wasn't sure his heart would be able to take the cruel, crooning teases Alastor would no doubt come up with upon such a revelation. When weighing the humiliation of yielding to Alastor to the humiliation of admitting that he was ENJOYING getting tickled to the brink of his sanity, Vox would take the former any day.
"FIHIHIHIHINE, HOHOHOHOHOLY SHIHIHIHIHIT! DEAL, DEHEHEHEHEEEEAL!" He screeched, a little wheeze slipping out as one of the tentacles tugged on his sensitive antenna. "JUHUHUST STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP, YOU BAHAHAHAHASTARD!"
As soon as those words were uttered, all touch disappeared, and Alastor reappeared a few feet in front of Vox. The overlord collapsed against his surveillance console, panting as his fans worked overtime to cool his body down. He shook with residual titters, his sharp-toothed grin nearly slipping his screen in two.
"There, was that so hard?" Alastor purred, sharing a smug grin with his shadow. "Now, I expect you to hold to our deal, otherwise I will have to take this little audio recording and make it the center of my next broadcast!" The deer demon twirled his cane, gazing at it and humming as Vox's eyes shot open.
"What now?"
Alastor scoffed. "Oh, please! Did you really think I would take you on your word alone that you would stay silent? I knew you would not make a soul deal with me over it, so I took matters into my own hands." The other sinner explained. "See, my microphone was recording our little interaction the whole time, minus the parts about my own...shortcomings. Think of it as insurance; it will not be released to the public as long as you behave yourself!"
Vox's face exploded into a bright blush blush. "Wait, that wasn't part of the fucking-"
"Oops, I'm afraid I have another engagement to attend to! Until we meet again!" Alastor cut him off, melting back into the shadows and disappearing from sight before Vox could finish his sentence. The TV host growled, flopping into his chair. His claws dug into the armrests, slicing into the slight padding. That prick! He couldn't just-
The overlord sighed in defeat after a moment, eyes closing as his breathing slowly returned to normal and his fans kicked off. He could still feel those claws scratching at his ribs, setting his nervous system alight with ticklish fire. He could still hear that voice, singing those awful, teasing words into his ear. He could still feel his limbs strain against the tentacle's hold, preventing him from squirming away no matter how hard he tried. Vox swallowed, feeling his blush returning full force.
He might have a different daydream to worry about now...

Memories
HEYYY decided to also post it here in case you do not like to use ao3 which is so so fair (:
anyways enjoy!! (its a little sad, a little silly and a little soft)
--
You looked at your bright laptop screen in the dark of your room, your bottom half covered by the heavy blanket; you don't even know what you're trying to do here with your shitty laptop; the screen just showed the tab you were on, which was random cooking videos.
Eclipse, the 9ft android, was wandering around your apartment, or so you figured by the footsteps and little noises that escaped the tall robot. You could tell he tried to be quiet with his movements as if not to disturb.
It was sleepover night, or so it used to be. You used to have nights with all three where you would stay up and talk or watch movies or even play games. The virus broke the thing you had built up with the three animatronics. The three years of relationship stayed strong with Sun and Moon, but... Eclipse, who got a stronger virus, seemed to lose himself.
And this was your first time alone with Eclipse after the incident.
You hadn't really spoken to the android since he arrived. Sun and Moon explained via phone that they had a busy weekend filled with work, so they thought getting some alone time with Eclipse might be good.
But this isn't your Eclipse. Your Eclipse is gone. He is not in there anymore; he hasn't been in there for a long time. All there's left is the shell or faint memories of the robot you once adored.
You sighed ever so gently, moving your hands so the heel of your palms pressed to your eyes. You sniffled the built-up tears in your eyes poured over, and now you were that loser who cried in bed; you let the tears fall as you moved your laptop to the side next to you on the bed.
You removed your hands and sniffled; you turned your head towards the bedroom door; you could see some light through the crack, but something was blocking it; you furrowed your brows before tracing the dark length up and jumped in surprise when you saw a pale grey and bright red eye watching you. Eclipse had been standing there for who knows how long. You wanted to get angry or maybe be playful, but you were unsure how he would react to those emotions.
You part your lips to speak to him, but the tall android opens the door slowly and bends under the door frame to walk into your dark room. You watched him, a little afraid to move, but he didn't seem to notice as he placed himself at the foot of your bed.
Eclipse took a deep breath even though you knew he didn't need to do that; it was a feature the androids used to calm people from panic attacks, etc.
His eyes fell onto you, and you could see a faint smile in the dark; it made your heart flutter, but you reminded yourself that this wasn't the Eclipse you were together with. This was a stranger.
But despite your hesitation, Eclipse reached out his dark blue hand and rested it on your blanket-covered knee, letting his thumb trace over the small form.
"You... You have not spoken to me since I arrived. You haven't spoken to me for a long time, Angel Eyes." He spoke so softly, and yet it felt like an attack. Your Eclipse never used that theme of names, but this one does, and you could tell he meant well that he cared in his own odd way.
"Hm... I thought sleepovers or slumber parties, you talked and were doing things together?" the tall android on your bed said in thought as his thumb still traveled lightly over your knee. You felt lucky the heavy blanket covered your legs, so he couldn't feel how flustered you were getting from his touch.
You didn't look at him the entire time he spoke, but you decided to talk after some silence between you and him.
"I didn't want you here. I'm doing this for Sun and Moon because they think I just need to get to know you again and-" You choked up, frustrated. You hadn't even noticed that you had begun crying again.
When you took a glance at Eclipse through blurry eyes, you could see the frown on his perfect lips, the furrow in his brows, and his eyes searching for something. You glanced at his hands; he had raised the one on your knee, and it was now hovering as if he wanted to reach out and pull you close, but you moved back against the headboard of the bed and wrapped your arms around yourself as you sniffled, the tears running down your cheekbones and jaw soaking the collar of your shirt.
You whimpered, moving your shaking hands up to your face to wipe your tears away with the sleeve of your shirt.
"Angel-" Eclipse had managed to scoot closer to you, but you held a hand out to stop him. "Please." you pleaded. "Please, Eclipse, you have to understand how messed up this is for me." You didn't see his expression, but you could tell by his voice that his mechanical heart was breaking into pieces.
"I try to understand, Angel Eyes, but it is hard since you do not let me close enough to try. I lost myself, or so I have been told, so I am learning everything again." He put his hands back on his lap, fidgeting with the ribbon he was still wearing around his wrist. "I am sorry," he says your name; it sounds like a soft plea of... Something. Anything. "I feel a connection to you, a past of sorts, connected with strings, but my fingers fall through when I try to reach them..." He took a sharp breath.
"My memories are... It was hidden from me, but there is a note attached to my memory folder stating that only 'Comet' may open it, and I have a feeling that it's... You. You're Comet." The way he looks at you, his eyes seem distant, unfocused yet knowing.
You were shaking at the words coming from his lips; they were digging deep into the grave in your heart where you had buried your Eclipse. Comet, that was what your Eclipse used to call you, lovingly, teasingly, fondly; oh, he used it in any mood.
"You... You are right, Eclipse. That's the nickname you used for me."
You knew your voice was trembling, your mind frail and on the verge of a breakdown, your breath quickening. You couldn't believe your Eclipse; in the heat of his doomed moment, he saved his memories of you in a way the virus could not get to.
As you tried to calm yourself, a warm hand settled on your cheek, startling you. Your eyes flicked up to the pale grey and the bright red ones in the dark. "Deep breaths, Angel," Eclipse said softly. "Deep breaths," He began mimicking the act of taking deep breaths. His eyes remained tenderly on you as his hand stayed on the apple of your cheek.
While you attempted to follow his breathing, Eclipse moved his hand from your cheek to your shoulder in a smooth and careful manner. "You're doing so good, Angel." He lightly praised; you could spot a tiny lift in his lips in the dim lighting his eyes gave off as you managed to take a deep breath.
"I... I'm sorry, Eclipse, I didn't mean to freak out like that-" You say through a strained voice, almost gritting your teeth as if that could allow your heart to calm down further, but a pale yellow thumb poked underneath your jaw in a gentle, although playful manner.
"Do not apologize, my dear Angel," Eclipse said with a slight hum before his thumb traced under your chin while the rest of his hand still lay comfortably on your shoulder. "I feel... Bad. I do not remember us," He said with a sorrowful look. "And I figured telling you about this could help soothe the open wound my leaving left you."
His eyes roamed over to the laptop next to you, the screen having faded to black.
Eclipse had a tiny smile as he looked back at you.
"I have an idea, Angel. Maybe you can access the folder if I let you attach a cord from my neck to your laptop."
Your eyes widened.
"Eclipse- That's-" You swallow, nervous.
The android's smile became softer, his hand sliding down your arm as he slowly reached your hand and intertwined your fingers; he looked at your connected hands for a moment.
"I know, Angel. But it's okay. I want you to be able to see just how much I care about you." Eclipse lightly chuckled, his thumb tracing over your knuckles. "Or, well, how much my old version cared about you. I still care about you even though we are not at that level anymore." He spoke before looking into your eyes again. "Let's go to your desk, alright?" he lightly squeezed your tiny hand in his giant one. Before you could react, he let go of your hand and gently picked up the laptop beside you.
Watching him move was wild. This giant was so gentle in everything he did, the way his arms moved at a slower pace as if he would scare anyone if he moved any faster, yet it didn't have the same warmth, love, and care the Eclipse you knew had.
You watched as he held the laptop carefully in his hand; the laptop looked so tiny in his palm. Eclipse got up slowly and reached over to turn on the lights, which made you flinch as the light hit your tired eyes. He walked over to the desk, where he placed the laptop in its usual spot.
Eclipse turned to face you, who still sat in the bed, half exhausted and half shocked by his words from earlier, but the android just smiled. "Do you need help, Angel?"
You let out a small groan and shook your head as you tilted your head down to rub the heels of your palms into your eyes for a moment; when you lowered your hands, you watched him before getting your blanket off.
"No, no, I got it. Just... I just cried my eyes out and had a panic attack or a start of one."
Eclipse hummed at your response, his arms behind his back, his hands folded in each other. A comforting pose for him, you guessed.
As you got up from the bed, you stretched and yawned. "What if I can't get into the folder? I mean, if you can't, then why-"
Eclipse chuckled. "Angel, did you not hear me? It said only Comet could get into it, and as we have established, you're the Comet. So! I am sure it will be easy for you to get into." He spoke with a lighter tone, almost on par with Sun's more timid excitement. You raised a brow at him and smiled just a tiny bit.
"Alright. Well... I guess we will see if I'm smart enough to crack a folder."
You walked over to your desk, sat down on the chair, and looked up at Eclipse from where you were now sitting. "You gotta sit down for this buddy, else I can't reach." A soft grin was on your lips as you attached a standard phone cord to your laptop and wiggled the other end to Eclipse, who watched you with amusement before slowly lowering himself onto the soft carpet and his hand moved up, ensuring his hair was out of the way of his neck.
"Just be careful when you touch Angel. Bad memories."
Your smile softened, and you gently put your small hand on his broad shoulder, which made him look at you.
"I will be careful, Eclipse. Don't worry, alright?" you patted his shoulder, and for a brief moment, you could have sworn you felt him press into the touch.
With the phone cord in your other hand, a nervous sigh escaped your parted lips as you moved over and opened a panel on the back of Eclipse's neck with a soft press of your fingers; he flinched but remained still as you plugged the cord in. Eclipse shuddered, and you heard him hiss out some air through gritted teeth, a soft groan from his parted lips, and his fans whirring loudly before settling.
You leaned back in your chair, tilting your head to look at him, but he avoided your eyes. You noticed he was flushed, making you snicker before looking at the laptop screen again, but you couldn't help asking about what just happened as the connection slowly loaded.
"So... Was there a reason for those noises when I plugged in the cord?" You asked as your tired eyes returned to the screen to give him some sort of chance of answering without getting too flustered.
Despite everything that occurred earlier, you felt calm and collected. Even though you didn't really know this Eclipse, he still had many of the same traits as your Eclipse, you mused before you heard him.
Eclipse huffed at your question. "You are together with two androids. I think you know the reason for that reaction. Angel." He said with a shy smile, but his tone sounded teasing.
"I see. Interesting to know that about you." You said with an exhausted grin, and when the laptop pinged, you saw the menu for his system pop up on your screen and rubbed your eyes to ensure they weren't blurred. "I feel as if this shouldn't be so easy to do. Like just using a phone cable to hook you up to a shitty laptop to look at your files."
Eclipse shrugged a shoulder in response before grabbing an unsolved rubrics cube from your desk in his massive hands. "I don't think it's easy, really." He said softly. "I think you're the only one this body allows in." He said with a soft grin as he leaned his back against the desk next to you, looking at you with the same grin.
Now, it was your turn to blush. "Right."
Eclipse chuckled at your reaction as he returned to fiddling with the rubrics cube. "It should be under one of the memory cards. It is probably called Comet and a bunch of numbers."
You nodded, then remembered he wasn't looking at you and spoke. "Yeah, okay, thank you," you said softly as you pressed a finger on the mouse pad to start clicking around.
"Ah! There it is," You exclaimed, though the sound was muffled by your hand as you were leaning onto it. You let your hand fall down into your lap and looked at Eclipse. "Are you ready? Tell me if it feels weird or hurts, okay?"
Eclipse looked at you with a slight smile. "I am as ready as I can be, Angel. I will let you know if anything feels off." He returned to the toy in his hand, though his shoulders tensed a bit; you could tell through the thin material of his white t-shirt.
Once more, you took a deep breath and clicked on the folder called 'Comet,' but before you could look at what was slowly unfolding, you felt Eclipse twitch next to you. "You okay, buddy?"
Eclipse nodded. "Yes. Yes, Angel. I shut off the security that was about to react to you opening the folder. You may continue." He spoke in short sentences like he was straining, and you were about to suggest that they should just not do this, but then Eclipse sighed, settled his back against the desk, and hummed. You gathered that he was okay again and turned back to the screen, though now you were just a bit more jumpy and aware of Eclipse next to you. "Okay... Okay, here we go." You said softly to yourself, but you heard Eclipse respond with a slight chuckle.
You moved your cursor over the picture files and clicked.
All of it was from your Eclipse's point of view, which was fine. You got to see how he viewed his world.
And oh. All the pictures Eclipse had ever taken with his camera feature were of you. When you laughed at his jokes or whatever Sun and Moon were doing or when you were alone and on dates together.
Again, you felt tears build up in your eyes, and you sniffled; oh, you were so tired, but you smiled just a bit as you flipped through the pictures. The guy had taken a ton, it seemed, and some were more raunchy, which you wish you could yell at him for, but alas, you couldn't.
Wiping the tears on your cheeks away with your wrist, you moved on to the recordings.
The first video was when you two first met, and you could tell he was so interested in you, almost as if he hadn't seen a human before. You let out a slight giggle when you heard his flustered voice asking you how the weather was, and past you in the video looked so confused, but you answered anyway, humoring him.
You felt yourself smile more as you went to the other recordings he had in the folder, and when you clicked on one, you got startled. It was you on the bed and him on top, but you were too slow to click away, and a moan came from the speakers. You closed the video as fast as possible, your face bright red as you glanced to the side. You saw Eclipse staring at you with wide eyes, his cheeks flushed.
"I wish to spare you of the embarrassment, but... I do wish to know how many videos of that sort of thing are in my head." He said quietly as his face was almost glowing from blushing so hard.
You wanted to die or dig yourself down in a hole.
"Uhm.. I.. I never knew he recorded those moments. I- So I don't... know?" You said softly as you cleared your throat.
"Hm. Seeing that video, it seems Past Eclipse must have done it more than once... Good to know I have a whole stash of... Playtime in my head." He joked.
"you cannot watch those Eclipse!" You said with a slight whine.
"I won't." He chuckled. "I can't anyway. Remember how it's only letting you into this folder?" He looked down at the rubrics cube in his hands.
"Oh... Right. Sorry." You laughed a little awkwardly. "Uh..."
You swallowed. "let's continue."
Out of the corner of your eye, as you turned to the screen again, you saw Eclipse giving you a slight nod as he tried to calm his fans down. You hadn't even noticed that those were whirring very loudly.
You clicked on the very last video, and before you pressed play, you took a deep breath and curled up on your chair, your knees to your chest as you clicked play.
It started with Past Eclipse laughing warmly, just the way you remembered. He was playing with one of the kids outside at the little playground that used to be there. He was building sand castles with a little girl in a star-dotted dress. She had a little bandana on her head that matched her dress, and you guessed it was one of the rare sick kids that came to the Daycare. She had probably wanted alone time with Eclipse, as sick kids often got to pick between the three to get one-on-one time.
"Dad?" The girl asked Past Eclipse as she kept shoveling sand into her bucket.
You were surprised to hear her call him that, but it was probably something he let her do as a comfort thing.
"Yes, My bright star?" You could hear him smiling as he spoke while making a little sand tower with his giant hands, carefully, of course.
"... That nice Daycare worker... Do you like them?" She asked this so innocently, so curiously, it made you blush.
"Oh." Past Eclipse said softly. "Oh, I do like them a lot, my bright little Star. They are my Comet, after all," He said with a grin, and the little girl let out a bright giggle.
"Does that mean they are my parent too?"
"Oh, we will have to ask them that, won't we? I'm sure they would love to have the brightest Star as their daughter, hm?" He said with a soft chuckle as he wiped his hand on his shirt before running a knuckle over the girl's cheek to remove some sand. You were too tired to cry, but you felt the sensation of it building in your chest. Your heart clenching in your chest, and a sob trying to get out past your lips. You hadn't noticed, but Eclipse was watching along with you; his expression was unreadable.
The video continued.
The little girl giggled joyously and moved away from Past Eclipse's hand. "Dad!"
Once again, you heard his laughter. "What? You are my brightest little Star, aren't you?" She kept giggling and laughing the way kids do as Past Eclipse moved closer a hand behind her so she didn't fall back.
"The most beautiful star in the universe," He said fondly, his voice cooing and warm. It broke your heart. You didn't even know if the girl was still around.
The recording was a few years old. You don't remember that little girl at all, only that Eclipse would disappear for a bit, and you suppose this is where he went at certain times.
The video continued for a while, and you guessed it was a couple of hours of them playing and talking until you could see Past Eclipse got a message in the corner of his eye.
The Eclipse next to you muttered a soft. "Oh no."
You turned to look at him, your brows furrowed at his reaction to seeing the message icon before you looked back at the laptop.
Past Eclipse hummed at the message but had yet to open it. He turned to the little girl and smiled. "Seems like we have to cut the day a little short, my bright star!" he said with a bright grin, you guessed. "I will take you to Sun and Moon." He got up from the sand and helped her to the wheelchair, gently placing her before brushing off the sand.
She looked a little sad. "Dad?"
"Yes, Star?" he responded, head tilted, you guessed, due to the view.
"Will I see you next Tuesday after my hospital visit?"
"Oh yes! I got special permission to come and pick you up!" Finally, the little girl smiled again and clapped her hands together. "Yay!" You could almost feel how happy Past Eclipse was during this moment.
He wheeled her back into the Daycare and briefly spoke with Sun and Moon before heading to the three's shared room. He sat down on the beat-up couch before opening the message.
The screen flickered, and you could hear Eclipse hiss and groan before the recording cut out and turned off.
You looked confused, and the Eclipse next to you sighed.
"I think... I think that was when the virus did it." He hummed. "that's my guess, at least. I still have the message in my head; I can't delete it."
You opened your mouth to ask, but Eclipse cut you off.
"No, it doesn't say anything."
You frowned, guessing you couldn't ask more about it, and wiped your face with your hands before sighing and sitting back in your chair. "I'm sorry... Sorry you lost yourself like that, I-" You sniffled. "thank you for letting me do this, Eclipse. It was nice to see... See my Eclipse again." You whispered.
Eclipse put the rubrics cube on the desk, then reached back, slowly pulled the cord out of his neck, and hummed. "Anytime Angel. Sorry, you lost him." He said it with a tender smile.
You rested your cheek on your knees, your arms wrapped around your legs. "... Want to play a game or something? We could play Uno?"
Eclipse smiled a little brighter. "After all that, I would love to play Uno with you, Angel."
You smiled tiredly. "only until I fall asleep, though... I might fall asleep during a game, but who cares? Moon isn't here to tell us to go to bed!" You said with a tired giggle.
Eclipse chuckled. "Exactly! Let's have some fun before bed, then!" He stood up and stretched a little before holding a hand out to you, which you took and smiled up at him as you stood and closed down the laptop with your free hand before following him to the living room.
You played Uno with the android for a long while, and somehow you were winning, but you guess Eclipse was letting you win, though he played it up when he lost hands up in the air dramatically and everything, which made you laugh.
When you had played the last round, you yawned, and Eclipse, the gentle giant that he is, carried you to bed, where he tucked you in, and as you dozed off, you felt a soft press of lips on your forehead.
You were out like a light after that.
Eclipse moved the charging cord he had brought over to sit next to you on your bed, his back against the headboard. Luckily, you had a huge and robust bed that could hold him. He plugged in the charger on his wrist and then looked at you for a moment before moving his free hand over and softly smiled as he gently moved some of your hair away from your face with his fingers.
"Good night, Angel. Sweet dreams."

Thinking thoughts abt Sugar ... I think it’s interesting to imagine Sugar having good intentions for Emmet more or less from the start but being somewhat misguided in attempting to take care of him.. Like natural zoroark instincts = lie & shapeshift to reach your goals --> lightly manipulate your trainer to get him to cooperate with you without fully even comprehending what you’re saying --> accidentally inflict psychological damage on your human

It's so weird to be working on a WIP fic towards a self-appointed debut date - only to simultaneously wonder if I'll still be on social media by that date.
Anyway reminder to US friends to CALL YOUR SENATOR with a brief remark about how you urge them to vote today against KOSA

i think what hits most about nobara's backstory is everything that's left unsaid and peaks from between the lines. it's the fact you can easily infer that something was wrong without ever having clear answers on what exactly was wrong. but if you can relate to the feeling of wanting to escape a place and the alienation from everyone around you, especially when you're brought up in small communities, then you can certainly understand, if not fully then partially, nobara herself and the struggles she might have had to face all by herself for a very long time; maybe even the importance fumi and saori had in her life and the pain from having to part from them; and, perhaps the selectiveness in letting people in that she later on develops as well.
#the way her story is told from fumi's point of view is quite interesting#nobara's backstory is like a silent whisper without a lot of obvious context and told from someone else's perspective#someone who until the end never really understood her fully despite their obvious close bond#someone who we weren't even aware was part of her life#and nobara's peak emotional moment and the last person she thinks as her life is in danger is her and the promise she didn't accomplish#a promise to reunite with the friends that shaped her and her life#ah.#i find her last line so... powerful?#she definitely struggled growing up and the only two people she kept in her heart from her life before jujutsu were people that#moved to where she lived. saori didn't even stay in that place for long. and then she moves somewhere new and she meets people#and a group that actually feels like home a community where she fits in and suddenly they kind of break through making place in her heart#just for everything to come to a halt. to turn to shit. for her to see that shatter away little by little. and in the end she's put in a#position where she knows she will not be able to hold on to what she cares for the most. that she will hurt people that truly cared for her#for not being able to go back to fumi and rekindle the friendship with saori and for being forced to be another punch in the guts for yuuji#and everyone else that up until that point were forced to go through losses already and traumatic events#and she decides to encourage yuuji to go on a good note and she truly believes the people she met made it worth it#even if it was for a brief moment in her life#i am not being coherent right now but it pains me :')#she deserved so much better#and i will hang on tightly to the line saying that she had a small chance of survival until the end#because she deserves it she deserves to live 😭#i'm taking her from that stupid anime and putting her in a slice of life anime watch me#yuuji too. and everyone else. i'm taking the kaisen out of the jujutsu and you can't stop me#jjk spoilers#nobara kugisaki#jujutsu kaisen#jjk 💭#my post

Old Emporio Armani briefs. They stopped making these years ago, but they were the most comfortable, stylist & popular underwear way back when. I remember David Beckham did a modeling campaign in the exact same ones & everyone wanted them. Not just the briefs, but they made the same style in trunks with the thick waistband that had the EA logo

The most hearth-wrenching thing about the announcement of who will and who will not be in the Community movie, is the fact that Shirley’s actress (Yvette Nicole Brown) won’t participate.
I think that her character always missed something, that it wasn’t developed enough and that with time she fell victim of the “Ned Flanders’ effect” (where a character becomes a stereotype of their main characteristics). I mean, we all know that most of the characters had been done dirty as the show went on and some of the original cast left, but I think that she, along with Britta, got too exaggerated, from a judging but well meaning Christian mother, to a completely different character.
To summarize, I’m sad her character won’t be present, but at the same time I can’t wait to see what’s they will with the remaining ones.
(Feel free to add anything to what I said or even to contrappose my talking point)
