The last episode of The Amelia Project reminded me how big losers are Haines and Cole. They are the best pathetic duo and failure’s specialiest little boys. It made me think about my other favourite pathetic character, the most pathetic character to ever pathetic – Rudyard Funn.

And then two brain cells connected and I thought what a hilarious event it would be if Haines and Cole had to investigate in Piffling. All of them have no luck between them and can’t achieve anything. Rudyard obviously would become subject of investigation even though he’s completely innocent and not related to the case at all. Haines and Cole obviously can’t succeed in proving his guilt or arresting him but Rudyard also can’t escape them. There would be a paradox of patheticness and bad luck. Nothing would be done successfully from both sides. (Until Eric Chapman enters, finds a real criminal for Haines and Cole and saves Rudyard from accusations. And then Rudyard and Haines and Cole bond over job stealing competition)

i can't believe @ameliapodcast is ending soon 😭 this podcast was a HUGE part of my teenage years, i discovered it when i was 13 and was the first ever podcast i listened to. im gonna miss all the characters, each season has its own charm to it that makes me love each episode. this season's finale was more focused on kozlowski and the agents but it still feels so... amelia.

the first two seasons will always have that whimsical and strange vibe that i love, those client-centric episodes just learning about different random people, and then cole and haines joining the picture. i love those two girlfailures so much.

then season 3 and 4, where their world was completely flipped and they were separated. i love how we explored more on the relationships of the characters, i loved the amelia and alvina bonding. this was also a little client centric with more professional people.

and then season 5, oh boy season 5. we finally learn more about the amelia project and we finally saw kozlowski!! i love the stories through time, i love seeing the title and year and pointing and going "OH I KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING". my favourite is how pip and øysten said that actually, Sherlock Holmes WAS real and he's jack the ripper. also that arthur was watson. this will be fun to keep in mind while rereading the sherlock holmes books. i was kicking my feet giggling the moment they mentioned afghanistan.

anyway this wasn't really structured i just wanted to talk abt it bc i love it so much. the one podcast that got me to listen to other podcasts. and im pretty sure it's influenced a lot about me, from my love for cocoa and me mimicking arthur. i just want to thank the amelia team for everything, ill always remember this. it's helped me in long airsick flights and breaks after studying. im getting emotional and there's still a season left.

Cocoa Collabs Extra 4: Everything Just Here All At Once (Movie Night)

Hi! Marla here ready to do another “challenge”. This time: @cocoa-collabs 2022 with superminifics! The idea is to do both the extra props and the daily ones, making at least one a day being an Amelia Caller. Not this one, though, this one is a story with some of this messed-up yet so dear to me characters! This podcast is a great source of inspiration for me and also a comfort, safe place and I am so glad to be participating on it…

...Also, if you listen to the second part of the anniversary, I am the gal saying that she thought it was about supernatural plants or something...shame on me but also proud of myself and how silly I can be.

Henry sighed. He was just so tired…

“So…after what you had to do to finally get all of us together…is to bold for me to assume that you aren’t actually going to give us up?” for being the most normal looking of the gang, Alvina was rather intimidating, her face clearly meaning no-more-bullshit-for-a-couple-of-lifetimes.

Next to him, Haines shrugged, surrendering.

“Guess so…I can’t believe I am saying this but…Do you have any jobs offers that match our set of skills?” in another life, Henry Cole might have said something; right now he was just glad he hadn’t been the one to acknowledge it out loud.

Amelia nodded.

“Your American counterparts were a bit quicker realising it. Which, to be honest, was quite a surprise; out of my personal experience, but…yes.”

The Interviewer (looking less about-to-die as he had before they had brought Kozlowski in) coughed, nodding at the 4K TV in a corner of the room.

“Oh, of course, before anything…” the woman rubbed her temples with exasperation and disbelief before finishing the sentence “…do you want to watch a movie? As a bonding exercise? Or, in other words, my colleague here wanted to watch Everything Everywhere All At Once and he haven’t had a good excuse until now.”

Before they could answer, Fox did.

“For Fuck’s shake, Cole, Haines, say yes; I need that distraction before becoming persona non-grata of my own country.”

“And a few others” Williams said.

Both former British agents nodded and sat in between Joey and Salvatore.

This was going to be a quite bizarre life experience.

Finally hearing about M again. Obviously in the previous episodes he was never depicted as the kind of person to give up and so I've been sitting here since Overture waiting to be jumpscared by him just showing up at the Amelia office or kidnapping Kozlowski at the Pretzel petrol station while the Interviewer "desintegrates", Alvina and Amelia struggle to set up in a new place and the surgeon goes on a road trip with two CIA agents. Very important question. With the FNaF movie coming out in a month, how well do you think each Amelia member would handle a Five Nights at Freddy’s situation? Naturally this includes Joey, Salvatore who, for all we know, are already in a haunted pizzeria and have been this whole time.

So, after it took me a bit to figure out what that is and a very sweet cameo by my younger brother who actually knows- Amelia? No issue at all. Interviewer? Nope. Walks in, walks out, leaves town, country, etc. Kozlowski? Befriends whoever haunts the building Joey and Salvatore? Joey would sleep through it, Salvatore might actually manage Alvina? Not paid enough to deal with this, leaves. Cole and Haines? Lock themselves in a closet first night and never come out again. Panicked bickering. Mia and Jackie? DreamTeam. They are asking "huh? Over so early?"
