We need Gregor's cookbook! With notes and everything in each recipe. Like, how did he come up with that recipe? Where did he learn it from? If it's an original one or if he just modified it. Notes of other clones, which are their favorites. If Gregor named one dish after someone, Illustrations of the dishes. Special recipes like a "birthday cake" that Hunter asked Gregor to do for Omega. People who make Star Wars zines, please do this, and I will give you all my credits. Pleaaaaase!!!!

Gregor: Come on, sir, the strategy thing isn't the problem. Night shifts are keeping you and General apart. You two just need to bone.
Wooley: [chuckles nervously]
Cody: What did you say?
Wooley: Don't say it again.
Gregor: I said you two need to bone.
Wooley: [whimpers]
Cody: How dare you, Captain Gregor. I aM YoUR SUPERIOR OFFICER!!!
[five minutes later]
Cody: [shouting]  Bone!!!
[ten minutes later]
Cody: [sternly] What happens in my bedroom, Captain, is none of your business.
[twenty-one minutes later]
Cody: [shouting] Bone?!
[forty minutes later]
Cody: [calmly] Don't ever speak to me like that again.

Disabilities exist in Star Wars. Period.
This post is dedicated to certain specific people who say they are not be able to reconcile service animals in Star Wars, especially Jedi, since the Force and technology exist. These people seemingly have never seen Star Wars, where disabilities not only exist but feature prominently in many cases — yes, even in Jedi. So let us prove them definitively wrong here.
From the very beginning, disabilities have existed in Star Wars. In fact, one could argue a feature of a disability is one of the most iconic things about Star Wars. Even people who aren't Star Wars fans, or who haven't seen the movies at all, know the sound of Darth Vader's breathing. Darth Vader -- Anakin Skywalker -- is unable to breathe on his own and needs to be constantly hooked up to a life-support system simply to stay alive. This in itself is an answer to the argument that the Force compensates for everything. Perhaps you might want to say it is the Force that lets him stay alive beyond what would kill someone else, but still it cannot take the place of functional lungs, or grow back missing limbs, etc. Anakin Skywalker is one of the most powerful Force-sensitives to have ever lived, and yet he can still be disabled and need assistance. (Also, because sometimes I see people making the argument that because of all the pain that Anakin is in, he should be forgiven for his actions, let me say this: Anakin Skywalker can be disabled and still be villainous and make choices that hurt untold billions of people. Being disabled does not absolve you of your bad decisions. Disabled people are people too, and all people make choices and that is what determines the kind of person they are. But that's another post.)
Another example of the Force not compensating for everything is Yoda. We see Yoda using mobility aids multiple times throughout the OT and the PT, from a cane to a hoverchair. He is known as one of the wisest and most powerful Jedi ever, and yet he still uses mobility aids. "Yeah, well," you say, "he still fights with his lightsaber and does all those flips, so that doesn't count." This is the same stupid argument that people make against ambulatory wheelchair users. Needing to use a mobility aid does not mean you need to use it all the time. Total paralysis is not the only thing that makes people need to use wheelchairs or similar mobility aids. Often, people are technically capable of walking or moving around or even fighting and doing backflips in Yoda’s case, but the amount of pain and decreased function that such actions would cause are not worth it except for short amounts of time or in dire circumstances. This does not make them less disabled, or mean that they are faking it.
“Must be a Jedi thing,” you say. What about Chirrut Îmwe or Kanan Jarrus, who are both blind (or become so). The Force does not give them their sight back (aside from a certain final scene in Rebels). “It’s only for Force-sensitives, then,” you try next. Try looking at Saw Gerrera, who needs oxygen assistance and wears a pressurized suit over his body. Or how about 99, a disabled clone who helps in brothers and is commended as “a true soldier” upon his death? The clones are excellent examples, for that matter. Wolffe is missing an eye, Gregor has a traumatic brain injury, Echo uses extensive cybernetics to function, among many others.
Maybe still you want to argue that sure, someone might have a limb chopped off or whatever, but technology has come so far in Star Wars that they're not really disabled. Hear me now when I say: having accommodations that help you function in everyday life does not erase a disability. Go back and read that a few times if you need to, because it’s important.
Now, to be clear, I’m not at all saying Star Wars always has amazing disability representation. I know that’s not the case in many, many regards, and I will link below references that discuss it in more detail. But to say that something like a service animal does not belong in Star Wars is, frankly, extremely idiotic and ableist and ignores the long history of disability in the GFFA. Disabled people have always existed in Star Wars and other sci-fi/fantasy media and they always will.

Gregor became good friends with an initially hesitant Kallus. After the first time seeing how Kallus and Zeb interacted (pre-relationship), Gregor gave Kallus the nickname Joopa. Kallus doesn't understand why, Rex and Wolffe find the nickname hilarious and "fitting". Not one of them ever tells Kallus why.

Hey so. Look.
I’m just gonna go ahead and address it again because it’s really bothering me. And as someone with PTSD/TBI who has struggled with PBA in the past, and someone who works with people who have PTSD/TBI, I think I’m plenty qualified to speak on this.
The Gregor tag is still absolutely rife with ableism and misunderstanding of the condition he is portraying. I’m not exaggerating when I say almost every single post. And the reasons given for his unpopularity are just…yikes. From people claiming to be anti-ableism no less? Yikes, guys. C’mon.
Education time.
If you didn’t know already from my posts from last year, regardless of writer’s intention, Gregor is portrayed as someone with Pseudobulbar affect or PBA. PBA is neurological syndrome that can be caused by brain trauma. It is characterized by involuntary, uncontrollable, exaggerated, and often inappropriate outbursts of crying and/or laughing that can cause severe distress, embarrassment, and social dysfunction. It’s condition of emotional expression — crying and/or laughing that's exaggerated or doesn't match how you feel. Crying and/or laughing spells are uncontrollable and can last seconds to minutes. They are sudden and frequent. Your mood will appear normal between the episodes, which can occur at any time. They not at all connected to your true emotional state.
For example, you might laugh uncontrollably when you meant to just chuckle in response to a mildly amusing comment. Or you might laugh or cry in situations that you don't actually see as funny or sad.
Just because Gregor laughs a lot does not mean he is “stupid” “goofy” “a silly character” or inherently has a silly personality. The guy has a good sense of humor. That’s it. He can have different traits.
Describing Gregor as (and these are words I’ve seen used repeatedly) “crazy” “annoying” “grating” “unhinged” “insane” “childlike” “a sterotypical crazy person”“a crackhead” etc. is…I shouldn’t have to explain.
If him laughing or acting differently from other clones makes you “uncomfy” you might want to take a moment to examine that
Variations on “why am I STRANGELY attracted to him”…dude just be attracted. Treat him the way you do all the other characters. “I wasn’t into him before but his laugh is so sexy” “I don’t know why but his crazy voice and laugh is so hot” Okay great. Laughs can be sexy. But due to the nature of his disability, this is just…not it. Saying this reads like the only reason you’re into him is because he has PBA. I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s not okay. Imagine if you could not control your laughter. Something that is very embarrassing and stressful for you. A daily struggle. And someone comes up to you and says “I wasn’t attracted to you before and I don’t know why but your crazy laugh is so hot. I’m strangely attracted to it.” Yeah. It wouldn’t feel good, that’s what the correct answer is.
Conversely, those screaming “don’t write/draw anything sexual about him at all” because he’s visibly disabled- STOP. Stop it with the weird benevolent ableism (please look up that term, I beg you) that’s rampant on Tumblr. I’m so tired of this. On here and in real life. He’s not a child. Having PBA and PTSD/TBI (or any disability) does not take away your humanity, sexuality, or romantic needs/inclinations. Acknowledge, research, and respect the character’s condition and needs, but treat him like everyone else for fuck’s sake.
Just because you are personally uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s “bad representation”. Stop deciding what’s good and bad representation for people if you don’t have the disability/condition. TBB Season 1 representation was just fine and exciting to see for many people who have TBI. Rebels is pretty obviously really pushing it representation-wise, but that’s not the character’s fault. His body is much older and brain injuries can deteriorate over time and symptoms can worsen. Give him a break.
Gregor has been shown canonically to be resilient, competent, courageous, respectful, compassionate, intelligent, independent, resourceful, and good humored. His character has one of the richest backstories in TCW. He is more than a silly character. He was a highly trained and competent Commando. He was in one of the the worst battles of the Clone Wars. His experience was so traumatizing he mentally blacked out upon seeing so many of his dead brothers. He was trafficked during the blackout. He was emotionally abused and gaslighted. He was exploited for labor and who knows what else. He lived in poverty. He sacrificed himself to save the thousands that would have been killed with that stockpile of rydonium. He sustained life-changing head trauma. He was held captive by an Empire that violated his humanity and principles. He fought and died in the rebellion.
Yet all some of you have to say is that he’s goofy and annoying.
Now, I can’t make my fave your fave, and I’m not trying to. But people bend over backwards to give literally every other clone love and attention, love interests, oc friends, serious fics, character studies, fix-its, headcanons, metas, redesigns. Despite the fact he’s a fairly significant character, Gregor is suspiciously absent in fandom. People don’t make or reblog Gregor art. They don’t write Gregor fics. He only gets these comments. Because he giggles.
You tell me what that sounds like.

Obi-Wan, rubbing his temples: I am not proud of what I am about to say, but someone get me a cigarrette.
Crys: But General, we don't smoke.
Obi-Wan: Cut the crap, Crys. I'm not an idiot. I know that one in five people smoke.
Obi-Wan: *points at Crys* One! *points at Oddball* Two! * points at Barlex* Three! *points at Gregor* Four! *points at Longshot * Five!
Obi-Wan: Now, I am going to close my eyes, and when I open them, there better be a cigarrette between these two fingers!
Oddball: *puts a cigarrette in Obi-Wan 's hand*
Obi-Wan: Thank you. ...Light?
*all of them  simultaneously pull out lighters*

Clones + Deep Cleaning
I was doing some really deep cleaning in my house soooo this came to mind lol In which you have somehow gotten some/one/all the clones to help you in your deep cleaning.
Deep cleaning is what I call when I clean EVERYTHING. Dust, mop, vaccum, sort, purge, etc. I'm not sure if that's a term used in my family only or others...so I thought I'd add it here.
First, I plan on making an actual write up for the blue boys, but since I'm struggling with it a bit...I made this for the other clones 🤣
〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜
Fox
- Trying not to snoop in your belongings as you clean
- Constantly asks if you're really sure you want to get rid of the things
Gregor and Wrecker
- Is playing with everything he sees
- Asks about everything too. Where'd you get it, what's the story behind it, etc.
Howser
- Asks a lot the questions but not obscenely so
- "once it's gone you can't get it back" but definitely a lot nicer about it than Fox ever would be lol
- Respectfully curious about it all
Wolffe and Hunter
- respectfully curious about your belongings but doesn't ask much about them
-Definitely makes fun of your pictures or old toys from childhood, etc
Cody
- is totally snooping and he doesn't even bother hiding that
- keeps supplying you with bags, cleaning supplies, etc
Tech
- Keeps supplying you with bags, cleaning supplies, etc
- constantly asks if you're sure you want these items out of your life, doesn't want you to regret it later.
Crosshair
- makes fun of your old pictures/memorabilia
- Totally snooping and doesnt even try to hide it

Maybe one of the clones having taken up an easily portable hobby? Crochet, knitting, carving, scrimshaw, something like that... just a clone of your choice enjoying a little quiet time.
Tumblr media
Gregor deserves some nice quiet time, knitting scarves for the 212th <3
Thanks for the request!
