Hey Goobie! Did you know that wolves actually have really interesting like pack relations that can’t be summarized and general terms because they vary so often? Like the very outdated alpha, beta and omega terms are ofc not actually how they work but the new idea that the parents of a pack lead while the rest are their children is also untrue?

Wolves will have a breeding pair as alphas with their children occupying the rest of their pack or they’ll have like the breeding pair and siblings or wolves who’ve been accepted into the pack. Sometimes packs are made up of multiple breeding pairs with the main alpha female caring for the pups. Pack leadership will change all depending on the wolves preferences or how they were raised! It’s really cool I love wolves

How does Jaune react to Percy and Annabeth’s adventures when he lands at camp half-blood? And does he arrive before or after the big battle in Manhattan? How do they react to his and RWBY’s adventures in turn?

Firstly, thank you for the kind words @hapless2

Secondly, Jaune would arrive between the events of Sea of Monsters and Titan's curse, however, Crocea Mors is lost and doesn't get found till much later.

He'd be saved by Percy and Annabeth while Grovers at Westover Hall with Bianca and Nico.

As soon as Jaune is taken to Chiron and Mr. D, Dionysus quickly realizes that Jaune isn't from this world and calls a meeting of the calls since Jaune isn't exactly a "Human" of Earth.

Let's just say that Jaune quickly meets all of the gods, well Minus Hades but that's an... interesting meeting for later.

Jaune is tasked with being both the combat instructor at CHB and also made to do some adventures by both the Oracle and the gods themselves, so he's at the camp for a while but leaves for an adventure a few days before Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia go to Westover Hall.

Of course with Jaune there, there are changes to the PJO timeline and while some events remain the same, others will be different.

Jaune would stay all the way until the end of The Last Olympian.

While at CHB, Jaune proves himself to be a great asset, not only as a teacher, but a fighter, since he has Aura, his Semblance, and has to fight Grimm as well as keep up with people faster and stronger than him, he's one of the best fighters, next to Percy, Clairess, and a few other campers.

However, a certain few are a bit wary of him since he bears a similar resemblance to a certain ex-camper...

I love the idea that every halfblood has some sort of magical weapon or item given to them by their godly parent. Like Annabeth’s hat, or the concept of a magical weapon like Riptide, or Jason’s coin, or Clairesse’s spear.

For me, as a child of Hades, I like imagining that I have a ring that works similarly to Jason’s coin, allowing me to have both a Sword and a Bident at my disposal.

Clairalience (Pt5)

Clairalience is the spiritual gift that allows one to smell without anything nearby giving off a scent. It can also be called clairosmesis, clairessence, clairscent, and clairolfaction. It is receiving spiritual information through the sense of smell.

*Disclaimer: Not everything is from the spiritual realm, your guides, etc. Mental illness/disorder, trauma, and medical issues can cause you to experience similar things as well. Don't hesitate to reach out towards someone from the medical field (doctors, psychiatrist, therapists, etc.) and take medications if prescribed!*

Some signs you may have clairalience is picking up scents when it is physically unavailable such as smelling flowers in a desert where no flowers are around. You can guess who is calling you or reaching you from receiving a scent that relates to them beforehand. In a learning setting you prefer to learn where the sense of smell is involved such as being in science class where the scent of chemicals and tools fills the room.

Clairalience may not sound as exciting to have such as clairvoyance. But it can be quite as helpful. Smells can carry strong emotions and memories that makes it a powerful sense. There is a saying that goes "I smell a liar," and you definitely can. Different people have their own smells to guide them. Someone might smell rotten eggs when facing a liar and to someone else it can be a wet dog. Either way spirits communicate with you by scents. You can smell energy and it translate to a scent. You can tell when your friend needs you because the smell of their favorite food surrounds you. You know when an area is dangerous because you can smell rusty metal. When you are feeling down the scent of your favorite flowers appear making you instantly happy and relaxed.

The downside is yes you can smell and it is not always pleasant. It's not fun when the scent of rotten eggs hit you every time someone lies. If someone is sick you may smell a strong medication scent when no one else can. The smells can be too soft or too obnoxiously strong. You know when your deceased grandfather who smokes a lot is around because his heavy cigarette assaults your nostrils.

To protect yourself pray to your god, goddess, ancestors, angels, etc. first thing in the morning, and before going to bed. To surround you and your spiritual gifts with a protective shield to help repel negative influences. Or if you don't have anyone to pray too then imagine yourself being surrounded in a white bubble of light that repels negativity. You can also carry certain crystals to protect yourself. Beings that genuinely care about you raise your spirit up. They NEVER put you down negatively, cause you any fear, or encourage negative beliefs like hurting yourself.

If it's a negative spirit, know you have power. You can smoke cleanse, do a banishing spell, use bells, etc.

Here is an exercise you can do to improve or develop clairalience. Practice makes perfect, so as long as you practice often you will notice results.

Scented Trip

To develop a spiritual gift in smell, you must have a strong physical sense of smell. When you go outside, take time to smell the flowers, the air around you, and ask questions. Is the air fresh, stale, how can you tell? Is the flower scent strong, weak, pleasant, or annoying? Before you eat your meal take time to explore the smells. Does it smell warm, cold, spicy, simple, or sweet? If you are driving what do you smell? Can you smell gasoline, smoke, perfume? The more you focus and become aware of the smells around you the more it leaves an imprint in your mind for the spiritual realm to use.
