Comme un sinistre symbole adressé aux adeptes d'Hawksongsucett, Bathdy passa à l'acte le jour de l'éclipse de la Lune Rousse. La Princesse Prêtresse s'était rendu dans un petit lagon d'eau thermale connu d'elle seule, accompagnée seulement de son garde du corps "Crocs Odile" et de sa plus fidèle servante... Pourquoi Bathdy a-t-elle trahi ? Hawksongsucette l'avait pourtant sauvé de l'esclavage en la rachetant à des marchands phéniciens, qui lui avaient arraché toutes ses dents...
