liamgarrigan81: As #theterror set sail for the final time last night, just want to say a massive thank you to all who’ve watched and supported over the last few weeks!
For those that haven’t seen it yet it’s available on the @bbciplayer Go check it out, I promise it’s worth it!
So many brilliant people involved in bringing it to the screen, particularly writers #davidkajganich and #soohugh
They crafted a brilliant piece, deeply emotional and packed full of tension.
Here’s a few extra snaps and bts shots for y’all :) x
The Terror (2018) - S01E09 ‘The C, The C, The Open C’
“The next week when it came time to dress, I... I pretended to be ill. They knew I was pretending. To this day I don’t know why I did it. They never asked me to join them again. We never spoke of it. It was the last and only time I stepped into a papist church. But tonight, when I close my eyes...I’m there.
If I were a braver man, I'd kill Mr. Hickey. Though it would mean my death, too. But I'm hungry. I'm hungry and I want to live.”
christos_lawton: Thanks to all of you for watching The Terror, I hope you all enjoyed watching me eat a boot. It was so much fun to film with such a brilliant, talented group of people. Here are some of us terrors behind the scenes! 🎞
It always amazes me how there aren’t more Christos fans in The Terror fandom. He has given us two hugely popular behind the scenes videos now and he actually has a really interesting acting CV, despite not being that well known.
Have you ever watched the 9th episode of The Terror and wished that you could listen to George Hodgson’s Eucharist Speech for, say, 10 hours and 54 minutes?
Well, now you can!
Back in 2018, the audiobook for The Sacrifice Box by Martin Stewart was released. It’s classified as Young Adult, but it’s a surprisingly gory and spooky book about five friends who each make a sacrifice in 1982. Four years later, they have to deal with the aftermath as strange things start to happen around town.
It’s a bit like Stranger Things with a heavy dose of 1970′s/1980′s Stephen King. It’s absolutely beautifully written and read and honestly, Christos has the perfect voice for a spooky book like this. Definitely recommend! 10/10
It's available for download from Audible, Google Play Store and iTunes. Downloads are £7.99 from what I’ve found. You can also get an MP3 CD like I did. I paid about £10.00.
