My Swan- Yandere Viktor Krum x reader
Warning: Obsessive behavior, kinda stalking? Krum is simp for the reader, the reader likes Krum but does not know about his yandere tendencies.
tell me if I missed something.
Tumblr media
He first noticed you when he was putting his name in the goblet, you were sitting beside your friends, laughing and smiling together. You looked gorgeous, your smile, your hair, and the sound of your laughter was like music to his ears. Was this love at first sight? He thought, no...he needs to focus on the tournament, he can't be crushing on some girl whom he never interacted with.
As days went by, he couldn't help but think of you, sometimes he thought you bewitched him. He always stares at you from the corner of the room, waiting for you to talk to him.
After he fought with the Chinese Fireball, he got a few burn marks, but he did not really care about them, It was not really that serious. But that was when you came, carrying a basket of medicine, with a worried look on your face. You decided to help the players whenever they got injured, you were good in medicine and can heal people quickly.
You asked him if he was okay if you healed him, he nodded, surprised by your act of kindness. You gently applied petroleum jelly to his burn marks. While you were healing him, he stared at you with admiration in his eyes, that was the time when he realised that he liked you.
After that day he bumped into you again, you were in a library reading a book, he slowly walked to you, wanting to talk to you.
You felt someone sitting beside you, you looked only to see Viktor Krum, the guy you healed yesterday. You smiled and scoot over to give him space, Oh hey Viktor, how are your burn marks? You asked wondering if you did a good job healing him, Viktor said it was healing quickly and was not painful anymore. You smiled at what he said, What are you reading? He asked as he looked at the book you had on the table, You said it was about plants, you had a great interest in plants, you loved taking care of them, and feeling very happy when they grow. Viktor just listened to your rambling about plants. He loved your voice, it was so calming to hear.
The yule ball was coming, but you still did not have anyone to go with. You were sitting in the library, as usual, reading about plants when Viktor came. Oh hello Viktor! Do you need anything? you softly said since you were in a library, I just wanted to ask you something... Said Viktor as he sat beside you. Oh, OK then! What did you want to ask about? You asked as you smiled at him, I just want to ask...If you want to go to the Yule ball with me, Said Viktor hoping that you would say yes, Wait what? W-with me? I mean Viktor there are other girls you can choose from other than me- But I want you, you got caught off by Viktor, Oh well...Sure why not? Viktor smiled as he kissed your cheek, see you then, said Viktor as he walked away. You blushed covering your face and smiling, you got a date with Viktor Krum.
You were getting ready for the ball, you were excited, and nervous at the same time. You were putting on your dress while rambling to Hermione, What happens if he does not like my dress?! Or he does not like my hair?! Oh, Merlin's Beard what happens if he regretted asking me- Relax (your name)! He will not regret asking you! So hurry up and put your dress on because the ball is about to start!
You were in front of the entrance to the Yule Ball when you suddenly hid yourself, OH MY GOSH I CAN'T DO THIS! what do you mean? said Hermione, trying to pull you inside. I'm so nervous Hermione! Why are you nervous?! Krum asked you because he obviously likes you so stop acting like that and get in! But Hermione- You got dragged inside by Hermione when you spotted Viktor, you froze, you could not move, Hermione smirked at you as your face started to become red, You look beautiful (Your name), said Viktor, u-um ah... Thanks, Viktor...You look handsome, I mean uh- Viktor smiled as he extended his hand, you looked at Hermione, and she gave you the biggest smirk ever. You held Viktor's hand as he guides you too the doors that were about to open.
The doors opened, and people were staring at you, Did Viktor Krum really choose you as his date? Of all the girls, it was you who he chose? The girl who was obsessed with studying plants and medicine?
You felt insecure, I should have not came here... You mumbled to yourself thinking no one heard, but Krum did, he heard everything, he heard about the whispers people gave to you. He swears he will kill them when he has a chance, how could they say that to someone as sweet as you? Krum gently gave you a squeeze on your hand, making you look at him, Krum gave you a smile telling you to ignore what they were saying. You nodded smiling back at him.
Here you are, dancing with him,, He looked at you lovingly as you both swayed together, You looked like a swan, so graceful...
The music changed into rock music, everyone cheered and started to dance together. You laughed with Krum, dancing and spinning around.
I will get us drinks, stay here ok? Said Krum leaving to get drinks for the both of you guys, you smiled, you were blushing so much. So how was it? Said a smiling Hermione who approached you. It was amazing, He was so nice and sweet, you said to Hermione. Looks like someone is in love, said Hermione as she smirked at you. Shut up! You shouted as you giggled with Hermione.
A random guy asked you to dance with him, you denied apologising and said that your date was getting drinks for the both of you guys. But the guy kept on forcing you, he grabbed your hand, which hurt you because of his nails. Hermione started shouting at him to let you go, only to be ignored. You were shouting at the guy to let you go until someone pushed him to the ground. It was Krum, you saw the drinks he brought for you in the ground, pieces of glass and juice everywhere. Krum jumped on him trying to punch him, you grabbed his arm trying to get him off the guy. Viktor get off him, please! you shouted which alerted the teachers. The teachers grabbed him, pulling him off the guy who was scared for his life, Krum was still angry at him for touching and hurting you. The teachers pulled him away, pushing him away from the guy.
The night ended with a grumpy Krum and a worried reader, Krum why did you do that-
He touched you! He shouted, turning to you with anger. He touched you and hurt you! I know he did but still, you did not need to hurt him! Viktor grumbled as he sat on the ground. You sighed and sat beside him. But I do thank you for protecting me, You said softly, smiling at him and holding his hand.
Viktor looked at you and smiled, his angry mood slowly vanishing.
It was the day when Viktor had to go back to Durmstrang, You hugged him and kissed his cheek, I will miss you Viktor, you said as your forehead touched his, I will miss you too... Said Viktor as he hugged for one last time.
(your name), promise to write to me.
I promise I will write to you Viktor.
You waved at Viktor when the ship was sailing off, Viktor waved back, blowing you a goodbye kiss.
Hey (Your name)?
Yes Hermione? You looked at Hermione who was beside you.
Have you seen that guy who tried to dance with you in the yule ball? I did not see him in days.
Now that you mentioned it...No I have not seen him.
Maybe he is hiding in his dorm, because of how scared he got of Krum, Said Hermione as you both laughed at the silly joke she made. Not knowing what really happened to him.
Krum killed him.

A/N: MY FACE IS SO SWOLLEN FROM MY WISDOM TEETH HELP
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Harry Potter
Hogsmeade dates.
You'd sometimes just wander around, exploring stores you haven't been in before
Since his parents left him quite a bit of wealth, he'd buy you things from the occasional store
Laughing while you drink butterbeers
Hand in hand, you and Harry stepped into the cozy warmth of the Three Broomsticks. The bustling pub was filled with the soothing aroma of butterbeer, and the sound of merry chatter enveloped you. Finding a quiet corner table, you settled down, eagerly awaiting your drink. The frothy Butterbeers arrived, their golden hues shimmering in the dim light. As you took a sip, the enchanting taste danced on your tongue. Suddenly, a burst of laughter erupted from Harry, his eyes twinkling with mirth. Curiosity tinged with a hint of insecurity prompted you to ask, "What's so funny?" He met your gaze, his voice warm and genuine, "Oh, love, it's just that you have a little butterbeer foam on your upper lip." Harry leaned closer, his thumb gliding across your skin as he wiped away the foam, a blush rising to your cheeks. The subtle contact ignited a spark within you, a rush of warmth spreading through you, melting away any doubts or insecurities that lingered. Leaving the Three Broomsticks behind, you continued on a stroll through Hogsmeade. The quaint streets were adorned with twinkling lights, casting a magical glow upon your path. His hand enveloped in yours, you reveled in each other's company. Your footsteps led you into the enchanting store of Honeydukes, where the scent of sugary confections surrounded you. Harry's eyes sparkled with mischief as he selected a delectable assortment of treats. Sharing them between laughter and stolen glances, you savored each moment, cherishing the simple joy of being together. As the sun began its descent, casting hues of orange and pink across the horizon, you reluctantly made your way back towards Hogwarts. The tranquility of the evening embraced you, and the tender touch of Harry's hand in yours offered solace and strength. Gratitude filled your heart, and you found the courage to express yourself, your voice laced with a sweet, delicate characteristic, "Thank you, Harry. Today has been more than I could have ever imagined." A warm smile graced his lips, his eyes reflecting the depth of his feelings, "I think it's me who should be thanking you." In that moment, the world faded away, leaving only the two of you, bathed in the soft glow of twilight. Drawing closer, the tenderness of your connection encapsulated in a fleeting yet profound kiss. Time seemed to stand still as your lips brushed against each other, conveying all the emotions that words could never fully capture. With a gentle parting, you met each other's gaze, a silent promise etched in your eyes. The beauty of the evening lingered, imprinted upon your hearts, as you made your way back to the castle.
Ron Weasley
He's kinda shit at planning
He doesn't like "formal dates"; mostly casually hanging out
Like attending one of his Quidditch practices
Or playing Wizard Chess with him
You'd engage in playful (meaningless) banter and end up kissing by the end of the evening
Perched on the bleachers, your eyes were fixed on Ron as he effortlessly glided through the air during Quidditch practice. A sense of awe and pride swelled within you, knowing that he had recently earned the esteemed position of Gryffindor Keeper. Every swoop and dive of his broomstick ignited a surge of admiration deep within your heart. As the practice drew to a close, Ron approached you, his body glistening with perspiration. A radiant smile graced your face as you couldn't contain your excitement any longer. "You were absolutely incredible out there!" His eyes sparkled with a mix of gratitude and joy. Taking your hand in his, he guided you back towards the enchanting halls of the Great Hall, where countless memories had been woven. Finding solace in a cozy corner, you indulged in a game of Wizarding Chess. Despite your best efforts, victory slipped from your grasp, leaving you with a mock frown. "You must have cheated! That's the only way you could have defeated me!" you teased, feigning disbelief, although deep down, you secretly reveled in his triumph. A mischievous grin curved his lips, but it soon gave way to a tinge of vulnerability. "Hey, I'm sorry if I'm not the best at planning dates or making everything perfect." His hand gently sought yours, seeking reassurance. Your heart swelled with affection and understanding. Leaning closer, you whispered, "Ron, it's not about grand gestures or elaborate plans. It's about being here with you, sharing these moments that make my heart skip a beat." A tender silence enveloped the air, amplifying the warmth that radiated between you. In that sacred space, his lips found yours, sealing a connection that transcended words. The sweetness of the kiss encapsulated the depth of your emotions, expressing a love that needed no embellishments or extravagant gestures. Moments later, as your lips reluctantly parted, you found yourselves locked in an intimate gaze. A newfound understanding passed between you, unspoken promises dancing in your eyes. It was in this quiet exchange that you realized the true essence of your connection—an unbreakable bond grounded in acceptance, support, and unwavering affection. Hand in hand, you both ventured back into the bustling halls of Hogwarts, the echoes of your footsteps a symphony of shared dreams and whispered confessions. With every stride, the world around you seemed to fade away, leaving only the exquisite harmony of your hearts beating in synchrony. And as you embraced the journey ahead, your souls entwined, destined to navigate the winding path of love, side by side.
Hermione Granger
Study dates are the obvious answer, but I doubt that's all she'd want to do
I think you'd have to do a fair bit of the date coordination because she's kinda busy
Sometimes you'd visit the Hogsmeade bookstore or tea shop
But I think she really'd like picnics with you
Then, you can bring whatever additional activities either one of you would like
The sun was shining brightly as you led Hermione to a secluded spot near the lake, where a soft blanket was spread out, adorned with a basket of delectable treats. She looked at you with a mix of curiosity and excitement, her eyes sparkling like the sun-kissed water. "I thought we could take a break from the books today," you said, a warm smile gracing your lips. "A little picnic for two." Her face lit up, a radiant expression of joy painting her features. "That's absolutely wonderful," she replied, her voice filled with genuine enthusiasm. "I can't remember the last time I had a proper picnic." You both settled down on the blanket, the tranquil sounds of nature serving as the backdrop for your afternoon together. As you unpacked the carefully prepared sandwiches and treats, Hermione's eyes widened in delight. The aroma of freshly baked bread and the sight of colorful fruits and cheeses seemed to awaken her senses. She took a bite of the sandwich, savoring the flavors, and then turned to you with a grateful smile. "This is perfect. Thank you for doing all of this." You reached for her hand, intertwining your fingers. "Anything for you," you whispered, feeling a surge of affection for the brilliant witch beside you. With each passing moment, you could sense Hermione's tension melting away, her mind momentarily freed from the weight of her responsibilities. The peaceful ambiance of the lake, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the warmth of your presence created an idyllic atmosphere that seemed to wrap around you both like a comforting embrace. After finishing the picnic, you decided to indulge in one of Hermione's favorite activities – reading aloud. She nestled against your side, leaning her head on your shoulder as you held a book in your hands. The words flowed effortlessly from your lips, painting vivid pictures in your minds, and creating a shared experience that transcended the pages. Time seemed to suspend as you reveled in the simple pleasure of being together, of escaping the demands of Hogwarts for a stolen moment of tranquility. The world beyond the boundaries of your picnic spot ceased to exist, and it was just you and Hermione, basking in the magic of each other's company. As the sun began its descent, casting a golden glow upon the surroundings, you gazed at Hermione, her features soft and serene. And in that moment, you knew that this picnic date had brought you closer. With a tender smile, you pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, silently thanking fate for bringing you together on this extraordinary day.
Draco Malfoy
Nighttime strolls around the campus
It's much more quiet and intimate, and you can truly see the beauty of the school
One night you could wander to the Owlry, the next to the Astronomy Tower
It helps you both get your minds off things
Though when you stay out too late, you've had a few close calls with Filch
Under the veil of darkness, the forbidden allure of the night beckoned you and Draco to roam the echoing corridors long after curfew had passed. With intertwined fingers, you moved with a delicate grace, stepping softly to avoid unwanted attention. Each stolen moment held a thrill that heightened the electricity pulsating between you. In the comforting embrace of the Owlry, your owls perched nearby, their feathers ruffled as if mirroring the intensity of your clandestine connection. The air crackled with anticipation, as if the room itself held its breath, cherishing the precious secret you shared. As the door clicked shut, a soft sigh escaped your lips, a mingling of relief and exhilaration. Draco's eyes met yours, mirroring the storm of emotions swirling within your own heart. It was in these moments, away from prying eyes and judgmental gazes, that you allowed yourself to truly be. A gentle laugh escaped your lips, the sound a mere whisper in the vastness of the Owlry. "Thank Merlin we managed to avoid getting caught," you murmured, your voice laced with a mixture of amusement and relief. You found solace in the way his presence anchored you, grounding you amidst the chaos of the outside world. You followed his gaze, peering out the window into the night. The moon cast a silvery glow upon the landscape, its ethereal light dancing upon the rolling hills and majestic peaks that embraced the school. The beauty of the scenery seemed to reflect the magic that enveloped the two of you. Draco's voice, soft yet filled with sincerity, broke the spell of silence. "In moments like these, everything feels so… extraordinary," he mused, his eyes never leaving yours. "It's as if the world outside these walls disappears, and it's just you and me." You nodded, your heart swelling with a profound understanding. "That's because it is extraordinary," you whispered, your voice trembling with the weight of the unspoken. "What we have… it defies the boundaries that others try to impose upon us. It's a force that cannot be tamed or contained." In that moment, you closed the distance between you, the magnetic pull between your lips undeniable. Your kiss was a symphony of emotions, a delicate harmony of tenderness and longing. It spoke volumes, conveying the depth of your connection and the unspoken promises that danced between you. Time seemed to stand still, the world outside fading into insignificance. In this sanctuary, surrounded by the quiet presence of owls and the gentle caress of moonlight, your souls merged, intertwining like vines in a forbidden garden.
Pansy Parkinson
Petting the unicorns together in secret
You'd see a softer side to her no one else knew behinds her outwardly "tough" appearance
She really liked girly/feminine things like unicorns but never wanted to be seen as "girly" or "dorky" so she never indulged
But with you, she isn't scared to show that she likes shopping, doing makeup, and petting unicorns
Under the veiled embrace of night, you and Pansy ventured towards the unicorn pasture, a place shrouded in enchantment near Hagrid's rustic shack. Darkness cast its cloak upon the world, yet the ethereal glow emanating from the unicorns illuminated the path before you. Pansy's eyes sparkled with a childlike wonder, her excitement palpable in the air. Amidst this tranquil moment, you turned to Pansy, your voice laced with tenderness. "Pansy, why do you keep this side of yourself hidden from others?" Your arm found its way around her shoulder, offering a comforting embrace. She released a wistful sigh, "I don't want others so see me as... I don't know. Weak? Sensitive?" She eventually landed on the right word. "Soft." A soft smile graced your lips, your gaze filled with adoration. "I think soft looks good on you." Lips tenderly met in a kiss, a merging of souls beneath the moonlit sky. In that suspended moment, the world seemed to hold its breath, as if captivated by the raw and profound connection you shared. The moon acted as a witness, its luminescence framing the love that bound you together. The unicorns stood witness to the beauty of your love, their presence lending an air of enchantment to the unfolding moment.
Cedric Diggory
Going flying on brooms
He is really passionate about flying, and even if you're nervous at first, he'd def warm you up to it
You'd get special permissions about curfew/flying permissions since he's a Prefect
He'd never abused them, but he'd be a bit more lenient lets say with you
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the Quidditch pitch. Excitement buzzed in the air as you stood beside Cedric, his eyes alight with anticipation. Going flying on brooms had been his idea for a date, and though you were initially nervous, his infectious passion for the sport had melted away your apprehension. Cedric had used his position as a Prefect to secure special permissions for the evening, ensuring that you wouldn't run afoul of curfew or flying regulations. He had always been a responsible Prefect, but with you, he seemed willing to bend the rules just a little, the intensity of his feelings for you shining through. He handed you a broom with a gentle smile, his voice filled with encouragement. "I promise, it'll be amazing. Just hold on tight and trust me." Taking a deep breath, you mounted the broom, wrapping your arms around Cedric's waist. The familiar feeling of his body against yours offered a sense of security, easing your nerves. With a gentle push, you soared into the night sky, the wind rushing past, carrying away your worries. Cedric's infectious joy was contagious, his laughter echoing through the air as he performed elegant maneuvers. Gradually, the tension within you dissipated, replaced by a newfound exhilaration. The broom beneath you became an extension of your being, responding to your every command with grace. As you circled high above, Cedric glanced back, his eyes locked with yours, an unspoken connection weaving between you. His presence gave you the courage to push your limits, to embrace the thrill of flight without reservation. And with each moment, you fell deeper for the charming Hufflepuff. The night sky was a tapestry of twinkling stars, their gentle light illuminating your path. You and Cedric danced among the constellations, sharing in a symphony of laughter and whispered conversations. Time seemed to stand still, wrapped in the enchantment of your shared experience. Eventually, the need to return to the ground tugged at you, the awareness of the curfew looming overhead. But Cedric's gaze was filled with warmth and affection as he gently guided you back down, landing softly on the pitch. He held you close, his arms enveloping you in a comforting embrace. "Thank you," you whispered, your voice filled with gratitude and something more profound. He smiled, his eyes sparkling. "No need to thank me. Seeing you up there, so free and happy, that was everything." You felt a surge of emotion, a swell of affection that threatened to overwhelm you. In that moment, you realized that Cedric's love for flying wasn't just about the sport; it was a reflection of his vibrant spirit, his capacity to uplift and inspire those around him. With the night still wrapped around you, Cedric leaned in, his lips brushing against yours in a tender, lingering kiss. It was a moment of pure connection, a testament to the bond you shared, and the depth of your feelings for each other. As you pulled away, your heart soared, mirroring the flight you had just experienced. Hand in hand, you walked back to the castle, the memory of your extraordinary date etched into your souls.
Cho Chang
ASTRONOMY TOWER
She's a romantic to her core and loved stargazing with you
You'd head up with blankets, books, snacks, games, etc
The sound of approaching footsteps reached your ears, and your heart skipped a beat. As Cho stepped onto the tower, her eyes immediately locked with yours, and a radiant smile illuminated her face. The sight of her filled you with a rush of warmth and happiness. She settled down beside you, the space between you disappearing as if it was always meant to be filled. "Hey," she greeted softly, her voice tinged with tenderness. Her smile lingered, a gentle invitation to share this enchanting moment together. "Hey," you replied, your voice filled with affection. You couldn't help but admire the way the moonlight illuminated her features, accentuating the depth of her eyes. The night sky stretched out before you, a vast canvas adorned with sparkling stars. You leaned closer, your shoulder brushing against Cho's, as you both marveled at the celestial display above. "Look at that constellation," Cho whispered, her voice filled with awe. "It's like they're telling a story." You followed her gaze, your fingers intertwining with hers. In this tranquil setting, the world faded away, and it was just the two of you, immersed in the magic of the universe. As the night grew colder, you reached for the shared blanket, draping it over your shoulders and inviting Cho to share in its warmth. The closeness brought a soft blush to your cheeks, a mingling of excitement and nervousness. But in that moment, it felt right, as if the stars themselves had aligned to grant you this opportunity. Lost in the rhythm of your breathing, the connection between you deepened. Words were unnecessary; your hearts spoke a language of their own. And in the silence of the astronomy tower, you leaned in, your lips meeting in a gentle, passionate kiss. Time stood still, the universe itself pausing to witness the beauty of this moment. Your emotions swirled within you, a symphony of love and desire. It was a kiss that spoke volumes, expressing all the tenderness, adoration, and longing you held for each other. When you finally pulled away, a radiant smile graced Cho's lips, mirrored by your own.

CINDY LOU WHO. cedric diggory
( master list )
IN WHICH… Y/N L/N helps her crush and longtime best friend, Cedric Diggory, get with another girl. Deep down, she knows she’ll never be the bright and bubbly girl Cedric wants. She’ll always be the cunning snake with a knack for starting fights.
“Cindy Lou is bright, bubbly, and extraordinary… she’s everything I’m not.”
A/N: I do take requests so feel free to ask for one :). I mainly write for Maze Runner, Harry Potter, PJO, and Hunger Games
Guess you make him happy like I couldn't do. Cindy Lou Who. With your hair so long, lips so red. Maybe we met once, I forget
Tumblr media
Scrolling five years back, I'm obsessed. Breaking my heart, 'tis the season, I guess. The snow's gonna fall and the tree's gonna glisten. And I'm gonna puke at the thought of you kissin'
“The boy who I love who's now in love with you. Cindy Lou Who.”
Y/N sighed as she impatiently checked her watch and tapped her foot against the stone floor. It was almost curfew and Cedric was still a no show. The rules were less strict now that school was done, but Y/N had a reputation to live up to. It was the least she could do with all the trouble she had caused this year.
“Y/N.” Cedric jogged towards her, looking out of breath. She arched an eyebrow and her gaze scanned his untidy uniform.
“… Do I even want to ask?” She questioned.
“Ah.” Cedric sheepishly smiled, “My friends and I were playing hide and seek. It was a pretty intense game.” Even during his senior years, Cedric was still the bright-eyed kid Y/N had grown up with.
“Right. Well, why did you want to see me? You know how I don’t like going out before curfew.” Y/N folded her arms over her chest, “Plus, you’re late.” She quickly added.
“I know. I’m sorry about that. I just had to grab this.” Cedric pulled out a black box, smiling. He carefully opened it, showing the necklace to Y/N. “Do you recognize the crystal?” He questioned, making Y/N scoff.
“Of course I do. It’s my birth month crystal. (Insert crystal).”
Cedric grinned. “You still know so much more about gems than me. You should’ve been put in Ravenclaw.”
“Oh, please. If I was put there, I would be sleeping in the hallways. I can’t figure out riddles.”
Cedric playfully nudged her with his elbow. “Don’t say that. You’re smart.”
The pair walked beside each other as the moonlight shone through the cracks of the castle. Cedric had slipped the necklace box back into his pocket and he gently cleared his throat.
“I’m going to give the necklace to Cho.” He suddenly blurted out, causing Y/N to pause. She looked over her shoulder at Cedric, wondering if he was joking. He wasn’t.
“Why? She’s your ex.” Y/N felt mildly disappointed that the necklace wasn’t for her. For the longest time, she had been holding onto her feelings for Cedric. Everybody could see it; the Golden trio, the teachers, even Draco’s posse. And yet Cedric had never caught on. She was starting to wonder if he was just messing with her.
“She helped me through a lot. I owe it to her.” Cedric smiled. Y/N gazed at him before she nodded.
“Okay… I’m guessing you want my help?”
“Yes. Please.” Cedric was ready to get on his knees and beg. Though, he was sure Y/N would find great amusement in that. She had always been a little sadistic.
Y/N briefly looked away, blinking away small tears and recollecting her composure so her voice wouldn’t crack. “What do you want me to do?”
edric had wanted to meet Cho at the black late, which was where he and Y/N usually hung out. That stung.
Y/N tied the last of the heart-shaped balloons before securing them to a nearby tree. Cedric was pacing around, wildly muttering under his breath.
“Will you relax?” The Slytherin girl piped up, rolling her eyes. “You’re making me feel nervous.”
“I can’t help it.” Cedric replied. Of course, nobody could help but feel anxious around Cho Chang. She was beautiful and smart and kind. Y/N had talked to her a few times, and if she were a guy or lesbian, Cho would be her crush too.
“Well, that’s the last of the balloons. Good luck, Ced. I’ll be nearby if you need help. Just don’t expect me to hug you if she rejects you.” Y/N playfully punched her friend’s shoulder. Cedric boyishly grinned and quickly embraced her.
For a moment, Y/N was speechless. She slowly hugged him back and awkwardly patted him. She could smell his expensive cologne and it almost felt Cedric was confessing to her instead.
Y/N was the first to pull away. She wished Cedric luck once more before hurrying off, her heart pounding in her chest. She felt envious of Cho. Y/N had been by Cedric’s side since day one. She had comforted him and supported him and hid her breaking heart when Cedric admitted to liking Cho the first time.
And now it was all happening again.
Y/N hid behind a tree just in time to see Cho walk out of Hogwarts and make a beeline for Cedric. She watched as they conversed and when Cedric showed Cho the necklace, she jumped with joy.
Y/N let out a small sigh. She pressed her lips into a thin line, accepting that she wasn’t the girl Cedric would ever go for. She wondered that if they weren’t childhood friends, would Cedric still be nice to her?
She was a Slytherin. A somewhat mean one with a soft spot for certain people. She started too many fights to count, and the threat of expulsion was always hanging over her head.
She wasn’t Cho Chang, who was pretty like the starry night shining above the calm ocean. Cho Chang was kind, sweet, and loving.
Cho Chang was Cindy Lou and Y/N was the Grinch with no room in her heart to change.
The next time Y/N saw Cedric, he was by Cho’s side. Y/N usually sat at the Hufflepuff table with Cedric, much to some people’s dismay, but today Cho was with him.
Y/N didn’t feel welcomed at that point so she sat with her friends, completely missing the way Cedric gazed over at her in confusion.
“Ah, Cedric Diggory and Cho Chang. Everybody’s favorite couple has finally reunited.” Ivy, a pale-skinned girl with light freckles lining her cheeks and soft silver hair grimaced as she sarcastically spoke.
“It’s a shame you never dated Diggory, Y/N. You guys were perfect together.” Hime sighed as she poured herself a cup of pumpkin juice. She offered to fill Y/N’s glass as well, but the H/C-haired girl declined.
“Boys are always stupid.” Evan, short for Evangeline, piped up. “He doesn’t know what he’s missing. I agree with Hime. He should’ve gone for Y/N.”
Y/N silently ate as she listened to her friends complain about Cedric, probably in an attempt to make her feel better.
“Has anybody noticed how he keeps looking over here?” Hime questioned, whispering quietly. “Chang never seems to have his attention for long.”
“I’m telling you, Diggory secretly likes Y/N but he’s scared she’ll reject him. So he’s playing it safe and going for an ex who he knows he had chemistry with.” Ivy retorted, sparing another glance at Cedric.
Y/N huffed in amusement. “Where did you come up with that?” She spoke for the first time.
“It’s obvious.” Evan backed up Ivy’s theory. “When he wins a Quidditch game, who does he run to? You. When he needs help with homework, who does he find? You. When he wants to go to Hogsmeade, who does he immediately ask?”
Evan arched an eyebrow while Y/N sighed.
“Me.”
“Exactly!”
“It’s a plausible theory.” Hime uttered. “You two have been friends for ages. He’s close friends with Hermione Granger too, but does he hug her and look at her like he does to you?”
“That’s probably because she’s younger and he doesn’t want to end up with a sentence.”
“Good point. What about Floral over there?” Hime nodded over at the Ravenclaw girl who was always arranging flowers or reading about them. Her name wasn’t Floral but everyone called her that and it stuck. “You three are all friends, right?”
“More like I was forced to befriend her, but sure.”
“Diggory doesn’t look at her the way he looks at you.”
“And how does he look at me?”
Ivy slammed her hands on the table, looking like she had been waiting years for this question. “He looks at you like Jack Dawson looks at Rose. He looks at you like Chuck Bass looks at Blair Waldorf. He looks at you like Luke looks at Lorelei. Like Morticia and Gomez, Bella and Edward, uh.. give me another one!”
“Percy and Annabeth?” Evan suggested.
“Yes! That’s how he looks at you. He’s giving you the I wouldn’t want anybody else by my side look. He’s probably just… confused. You’re like his Cindy Lou Who. You make him happy and you bring out the best in him.”
“Cindy Lou is bright, bubbly, and extraordinary… she’s everything I’m not.” Y/N gestured over to Cho, who was giggling with Cedric. “Cho Chang is more like Cindy Lou.”
“Cindy Lou Who has a nice ring to it.” Evan said, off topic.
Y/N nodded in agreement. “It does. The rhyme is satisfying.”
“Enough about language features! You have to get your man back, Y/N.” Ivy intensely stared at Y/N, determined to get Cedric and her together.
“He was never mine to begin with.”
“Then make him yours! Come on, Y/N, you’re beautiful- no. Gorgeous. And sure, you have a bitter side but guys who can’t deal getting a little burnt aren’t worth it. And I know that you burnt Diggory over and over again, with both your anger and literal fire.”
“Just so we’re clear, the fire thing was an accident. And I don’t want to force anything onto Cedric. I’ll just… go with the flow.” Y/N ate the last of her food and stood up, “I need to wrap presents. Don’t you dare try and sneak in to see your’s.”
Y/N was mainly referring to Ivy, who lifted her hands in surrender.
Again, Y/N failed to notice how Cedric’s eyes trailed to her. But Cho saw it.
“Cedric.” The raven-haired beautify tugged on his sleeve, “Can we talk?” She spared Cedric’s friends a look. “Alone?”
“Uh, yeah, sure.”
The pair walked off, fully aware of how Y/N’s friends were watching them closely.
“What did you want to talk about?” Cedric questioned, tilting his head to the side.
“I don’t want to assume anything, Cedric. But to me, it seems like you only confessed to me again to play it safe. I can tell that your true feelings don’t lie with me.” Cho glanced at Y/N, who exited a nearby bathroom and was too busy drying her hands to notice the couple. “They lie with her.”
Cedric followed Cho’s gaze, softly staring at Y/N with that damned look of adoration.
“I think someone else deserves this necklace.” Cho gently removed the jewellery, handing it over to Cedric. “Face it, you love her. You always have. You can’t try to love me, Cedric, not when Y/N exists.”
“She doesn’t like me back.” Cedric muttered, grasping the necklace.
“Are you sure?” Cho quirked an eyebrow. “Why do you think she stayed by your side for so long? Even when the other Slytherins teased her, even when you two argued, even when you kissed me in front of her. How could you not notice, Cedric? She brings you drinks after quidditch practice and buys you gifts and even stays at Hogwarts so you aren’t lonely. Why do you think she never dated anybody, Cedric? It’s because you were the one she wanted.”
Cedric shook his head. “No. She doesn’t like me. Y/N is smart and amazing and cunning. I’m not her type. Her type would be someone like…” He paused, thinking, “Matteo Riddle.”
Cho sighed as she shook her head. “You really have no idea, do you? Spend more time with Y/N and hopefully you’ll notice the things the rest of us do.”
She quietly walked off, leaving Cedric standing outside the Great Hall. Cho made an immediate beeline for Ivy, Evan, and Hime and sat in Y/N’s spot.
The trio clad in green glanced at her, confused and a little hostile.
“Cedric likes Y/N.” Cho quickly uttered so the group didn’t explode on her. “I got through to him but he thinks Y/N doesn’t like him back.”
“Thats bullshit. It’s so obvious!” Ivy groaned.
“Exactly.” Evan agreed, “But Y/N doesn’t think Cedric likes her either.”
Cho sighed. “It’s obvious they have mutual feelings but neither of them believe it. So, let’s force them to confess.”
Hime raised an eyebrow. “Don’t you like Cedric? Why are you willing to help us?”
“Despite our dating history, Cedric is still my friend. And I want to help him in any way I can.” Cho smiled.
“Oh, I have an idea!” Ivy exclaimed, “What if we get them under the mistletoe? But instead, they have to fight! We can call it mistlefoe!”
Cho, Hime, and Evan exchanged looks.
“I think we should just stick to mistletoe.” Cho uttered. “We could, uh, surprise them by decorating one of their common rooms? The Slytherin room is never decorated, right?”
“I wish it was.” Evan sighed, “It’s a cute idea. We could surprise Y/N by decorating the common room and then led her in and Cedric can be standing in the middle of the room under the mistletoe.”
“But to pull that off, we’ll need more help.” Hime added, “I don’t think four people can do that. And it’s only us in the Slytherin common room. Not even Matteo is here. So he can’t help.”
Cho glanced past Hime and Ivy, staring at the Golden Trio and their extended group of friends. She smiled. “I have an idea. But it’s going to involve working with Gryffindors.”
The group of Slytherins all glanced at each other before they shrugged in unison.
“Anything for Y/N.”
“Whatever.”
“Do I get to kiss Oliver Wood after Diggory and Y/N kiss?”
Cho, Evan, and Hime stared at Ivy, who only cheekily grinned.
“Um… I’m not sure about that last one. Let’s just start off with asking the Gryffindors first.” Cho sheepishly smiled.
“Ivy and I will get the decorations.” Hime offered, “There’s some extra ones in the basement if Hogwarts too. Evan, Chang, you can get those after you ask the Gryffindors.”
“Call me Cho.” The ravenette smiled before she stood up. “We don’t have much time. Let’s hurry.”
“Wait, we forgot something.” Ivy piped up, “Who’s going to distract Y/N?”
“Evan can distract L/N. I’ll ask the Gryffindors myself and if they accept, they can help me get the decorations from the basement.”
“Okay.” Hime looked around, slowly nodding. She smiled. “Let’s go.”
Cho approached the red table while Hime and Ivy hurried towards Hogsmeade and Evan rushed off to find Y/N.
It took a few hours for everything to be set up, but finally the Slytherin room was decorated and ready.
“I need to get something. I’ll be back.” Evan smiled, lying through her teeth. She watched as Y/N entered the Slytherin common room and rushed off to find her friends.
Y/N squinted her eyes as she walked into the dark room. “Huh? Ivy? Hime? You here? What did you do to the lights?” Nobody answered her. She tilted her head to the side, confused.
The lights suddenly turned on, along with multiple Christmas LED lights. She quietly gasped as she stared at the tinsel covered stairs and brightly decorated tree.
In all her years at Hogwarts, the common room had never been decorated. Slytherins weren’t exactly big on Christmas.
Y/N looked around, realizing she wasn’t alone. “Cedric?” She stared at the brunette boy. “What are you doing here? Have you seen Ivy or Hime? I can’t seem to find them anywhere.”
Cedric silently looked up. Y/N, puzzled, followed his gaze. She lifted her head, staring up at the floating mistletoe above her head. “Oh.” She whispered.
She looked at Cedric again, jumping when he was only a foot away.
“I’m sorry if I ever hurt you, Y/N.” He uttered, “I should’ve noticed.”
“Noticed what?”
Cedric didn’t say anything as he leaned forward to softly kiss her. Y/N froze, her heart almost leaping out of her chest.
“Y/N,” Cedric pulled away and brushed a strand of loose hair aside, “You’ll always be my Cindy Lou.”

One of the biggest non irl related sins of Harry Potter was spending the Longest Book in the entire series showing how fucking angry and unbalanced Harry Potter, our titular character, is because of witnessing a boy die the year before.
And then having him date the girl who used to date the boy who died...and then spending the whole book mocking her for HER emotions.
Like what the fuck was that.
Oh I'm allowed to shriek at my friends for an entire book, to the point where there are literally pages and pages of caps lock, but the girl whose boyfriend DIED THREE MONTHS AGO...
Hahahaha she's a human hosepipe. Hahahah she's sad all the time. That's a good one. Wonder why she's so sad?
Girls cry, and it's funny, amirite?
Now let me go back to screeching at my friends.
Like it's even worse because he knew Cedric.
It would be terrible if he was dismissive about the death of a boy he didn't know, but he was friends with cedric at least a little.
Why the fuck would a boy who's supposed to be nice be such a fucking asshole to his girlfriend, who is grieving someone...that he literally watched die?
What a fucking joke.
Jk Rowling's rampant misogyny is ironic in the face of her current terfism.
She's so pro women that she views girls who cry as pathetic weaklings who should just get over it, but boys who scream are actually so strong and cool.
Fuck off.

Harry Potter is Probably Gay and Here's Why
So.... a lot of this fandom likes to call one Harry James Potter a Bi disaster. Personally, I think he's gay and I can use book text to prove he isn't actually attracted to women at all.
So here goes:
How Harry Describes Men
Harry describes many men as attractive and handsome in the books, not only that but in general Harry goes into more detail when describing male characters. I'll mention it again in a later section in this post, but when describing men, even those Harry doesn't find attractive, he tends to describe much more details about them than about girls he supposedly does find attractive. Something that to me suggests, he doesn't find these girls attractive at all.
Here are some examples of Harry finding men attractive:
Charlie Weasley:
Charlie was built like the twins, shorter and stockier than Percy and Ron, who were both long and lanky. He had a broad, good-natured face, which was weatherbeaten and so freckly that he looked almost tanned; his arms were muscular, and one of them had a large, shiny burn on it.
(Goblet of Fire, page 52)
Bill Weasley:
However, Bill was — there was no other word for it — cool. He was tall, with long hair that he had tied back in a ponytail. He was wearing an earring with what looked like a fang dangling from it. Bill’s clothes would not have looked out of place at a rock concert, except that Harry recognized his boots to be made, not of leather, but of dragon hide.
(Goblet of Fire, page 52)
Cedric Diggory:
Cedric Diggory was an extremely handsome boy of around seventeen.
(Goblet of Fire, page 71)
Sirius Black:
Sirius was lounging in his chair at his ease, tilting it back on two legs. He was very good-looking; his dark hair fell into his eyes with a sort of casual elegance neither James’s nor Harry’s could ever have achieved, and a girl sitting behind him was eyeing him hopefully, though he didn’t seem to have noticed.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 642)
Sirius stared around at the students milling over the grass, looking rather haughty and bored, but very handsomely so.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 644)
Firenze:
white-blond hair and astonishingly blue eyes, the head and torso of a man joined to the palomino body of a horse.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 598)
Professor McGonagall turned next to Parvati Patil, whose first question was whether Firenze, the handsome centaur, was still teaching Divination
(Half-Blood Prince, page 174)
Blaise Zabini:
He recognized a Slytherin from their year, a tall black boy with high cheekbones and long, slanting eyes
(Half-Blood Prince, page 143)
Draco Malfoy:
It was Draco Malfoy. He had pushed to the front of the crowd, his cold eyes alive, his usually bloodless face flushed, as he grinned at the sight of the hanging, immobile cat.
(Chamber of Secrets, page 133)
Malfoy, who had a pale, pointed, sneering face
(Prisoner of Azkaban, page 79)
A pale boy with a pointed face and white-blond hair
(Goblet of Fire, pages 116-117)
Tom Marvolo Riddle:
There was no trace of the Gaunts in Tom Riddle’s face. Merope had got her dying wish: He was his handsome father in miniature, tall for eleven years old, dark-haired, and pale
(Half-Blood Prince, page 269)
The door creaked open. There on the threshold, holding an oldfashioned lamp, stood a boy Harry recognized at once: tall, pale, dark-haired, and handsome — the teenage Voldemort.
(Half-Blood Prince, page 364)
Harry recognized Voldemort at once. His was the most handsome face and he looked the most relaxed of all the boys.
(Half-Blood Prince, page 369)
followed by a tall young man Harry had no difficulty whatsoever in recognizing as Voldemort. He was plainly dressed in a black suit; his hair was a little longer than it had been at school and his cheeks were hollowed, but all of this suited him; he looked more handsome than ever.
(Half-Blood Prince, page 434)
I don't think anyone would argue Harry isn't attracted to men... He's kind of obvious. What I want to go more into detail about is him not being attracted to women, as that's what I think I disagree with most of the fandom about.
How Harry Describes Women (for comparison)
So, we saw how Harry describes men, specifically men he finds attractive, so, let's compare to how he describes a girl he thinks is pretty, like Cho Chang:
Harry couldn’t help noticing, nervous as he was, that she was extremely pretty. She smiled at Harry as the teams faced each other behind their captains, and he felt a slight lurch in the region of his stomach that he didn’t think had anything to do with nerves.
(Prisoner of Azkaban, page 259)
“Good luck, Harry!” called Cho. Harry felt himself blushing.
(Prisoner of Azkaban, page 304)
She was waiting for him a little to the side of the oak front doors, looking very pretty with her hair tied back in a long ponytail.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 556)
These are all the physical descriptions I managed to find of Cho, the girl Harry supposedly has a crush on from 3rd to 5th year... yeah, I don't see it. Sure, he mentions she's pretty, and he blushes around her, but he doesn't describe anything else about her. Not eye color, not hair color, skin color, eye shape, physique — nothing! Compare this to how he describes Bill Weasley or Blaise Zabini even, with so much more detail in their description.
Now, details in descriptions when writing from a character's POV are very important. Because a character would use more words to describe what's most important or striking to them... and in Harry's case Cho isn't it.
We know she's pretty and Harry's nervous around her, but the descriptions are just so stale and distant compared to: Tom "handsomest face in the room" Riddle, or Sirius "handsome handsomed handsomely" Black.
And I want to talk about Harry's crush on Cho more, but first:
Fleur Delacor:
I want to talk about Fleur for a bit. Because Harry's reaction to Fleur is very interesting, specifically because Fleur is a quarter veela.
Ron was still goggling at the girl as though he had never seen one before. Harry started to laugh. The sound seemed to jog Ron back to his senses. “She’s a veela!” he said hoarsely to Harry.
many boys’ heads turned, and some of them seemed to have become temporarily speechless, just like Ron.
(Goblet of Fire, page 252)
Veelas are literally magically attractive, if you are attracted to women, you'll find a veela woman attractive and be mesmerized. We see it with Ron and other boys, as Harry notes in the above quote. Ron and many other boys all stare, speechless at Fleur because that's how her magic works.
Harry, on the other hand, isn't affected at all. To the point, he's confused by Ron's drooling over Fleur. He later in GoF wonders why Ron wanted to go with Fleur to the Yule Ball so much, as he didn't see the appeal.
Harry is literally not attracted to a woman who is magically attractive to anyone who's attracted to women.
Looking careworn, she [Fleur] left the room. Ron still seemed slightly punch-drunk; he was shaking his head experimentally like a dog trying to rid its ears of water. “Don’t you get used to her if she’s staying in the same house?” Harry asked. “Well, you do,” said Ron, “but if she jumps out at you unexpectedly, like then . . .”
(Half-Blood Prince, page 93)
It continues in his later interactions with Fleur, like when he arrives at the Burrow in HBP in the above quote. Harry asks Ron if he shouldn't get used to Fleur and stop drooling whenever he sees her, to which Ron responds that you do to a degree. The thing is, Harry isn't used to being around Fleur, he just arrived, after not seeing her for over a year. But still, he isn't affected at all, like in 4th year, he seems to not get what all the fuss is about.
That being said, Harry does react to the full veela in the Quidditch World Cup:
But a hundred veela were now gliding out onto the field, and Harry’s question was answered for him. Veela were women . . . the most beautiful women Harry had ever seen . . . except that they weren’t — they couldn’t be — human. This puzzled Harry for a moment while he tried to guess what exactly they could be; what could make their skin shine moon-bright like that, or their white-gold hair fan out behind them without wind . . . but then the music started, and Harry stopped worrying about them not being human — in fact, he stopped worrying about anything at all.
...
And as the veela danced faster and faster, wild, half-formed thoughts started chasing through Harry’s dazed mind. He wanted to do something very impressive, right now. Jumping from the box into the stadium seemed a good idea . . . but would it be good enough? “Harry, what are you doing?” said Hermione’s voice from a long way off. The music stopped. Harry blinked. He was standing up, and one of his legs was resting on the wall of the box. Next to him, Ron was frozen in an attitude that looked as though he were about to dive from a springboard.
(Goblet of Fire, page 103)
I'm not sure exactly about the full veela's effects. Mostly because Arthur Weasley doesn't seem as affected as Harry and Ron, and Harry describes the crowd in general reacting to them, not just the men. Hermione doesn't seem affected though.
Something I want to note is that Harry only becomes affected once they start dancing, and not just by looking at them the way Ron and some of the boys are described as being with Fluer. Only when the music and dance start Harry becomes mesmerized. Before that, he is wondering how their hair moves behind them without wind... Additionally, after the music stops, Harry snaps out of it quickly, Ron on the other hand doesn't and proceeds to tear his Ireland merch.
So, while full veela, can influence him, it isn't by their appearance alone but by magic beyond their regular magical attractiveness.
Note that even with the veela, Harry barely describes anything about them. his descriptions of them aren't as detailed as his descriptions of men he finds attractive.
So even if he is attracted to women, it's very minor and barely there.
Harry's Disastrous Relationship with Cho
So, Harry and Cho... I don't think it's a pairing that has fans, but I might be wrong about that. Regardless of your opinion about it, I don't think Harry actually liked Cho. Like, at all.
They looked at each other for a long moment. Harry felt a burning desire to run from the room and, at the same time, a complete inability to move his feet. “Mistletoe,” said Cho quietly, pointing at the ceiling over his head. “Yeah,” said Harry. His mouth was very dry. “It’s probably full of nargles, though.” “What are nargles?” “No idea,” said Harry. She had moved closer. His brain seemed to have been Stunned. “You’d have to ask Loony. Luna, I mean.” Cho made a funny noise halfway between a sob and a laugh. She was even nearer him now. He could have counted the freckles on her nose. “I really like you, Harry.” He could not think. A tingling sensation was spreading throughout him, paralyzing his arms, legs, and brain. She was much too close. He could see every tear clinging to her eyelashes. . . .
(Order of the Pheonix, page 456)
Cho, the girl Harry is convinced he's crushing on since he was 13, is about to kiss him under the mistletoe, and he's thinking about nargles and Luna... And how does he feel about kissing Cho?
"a burning desire to run from the room"
He wants to run away from kissing Cho. And, well, it doesn't get any better than that.
“What kept you?” he [Ron] asked, as Harry sank into the armchair next to Hermione’s. Harry did not answer. He was in a state of shock. Half of him wanted to tell Ron and Hermione what had just happened, but the other half wanted to take the secret with him to the grave. “Are you all right, Harry?” Hermione asked, peering at him over the tip of her quill. Harry gave a halfhearted shrug. In truth, he didn’t know whether he was all right or not.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 457)
He is not sure he's alright after kissing Cho. Harry thinks about kissing Cho like it's a traumatic experience... He's happier talking about Voldemort's resurrection than about his first kiss. (WTF Harry?)
Harry doesn't like Cho. Not even a bit.
“Did you kiss?” asked Hermione briskly. Ron sat up so fast that he sent his ink bottle flying all over the rug. Disregarding this completely he stared avidly at Harry. “Well?” he demanded. Harry looked from Ron’s expression of mingled curiosity and hilarity to Hermione’s slight frown, and nodded. “HA!” Ron made a triumphant gesture with his fist and went into a raucous peal of laughter that made several timid-looking second years over beside the window jump. A reluctant grin spread over Harry’s face as he watched Ron rolling around on the hearthrug. Hermione gave Ron a look of deep disgust and returned to her letter. “Well?” Ron said finally, looking up at Harry. “How was it?” Harry considered for a moment. “Wet,” he said truthfully. Ron made a noise that might have indicated jubilation or disgust, it was hard to tell.
(Order of the Pheonix, pages 456-458)
I don't need I need to add anything here... Harry speaks for himself.
“You just had to be nice to her,” said Hermione, looking up anxiously. “You were, weren’t you?” “Well,” said Harry, an unpleasant heat creeping up his face, “I sort of — patted her on the back a bit.” Hermione looked as though she was restraining herself from rolling her eyes with extreme difficulty. “Well, I suppose it could have been worse,” she said. “Are you going to see her again?” “I’ll have to, won’t I?” said Harry. “We’ve got D.A. meetings, haven’t we?” “You know what I mean,” said Hermione impatiently. Harry said nothing. Hermione’s words opened up a whole new vista of frightening possibilities. He tried to imagine going somewhere with Cho — Hogsmeade, perhaps — and being alone with her for hours at a time. Of course, she would have been expecting him to ask her out after what had just happened. . . . The thought made his stomach clench painfully. “Oh well,” said Hermione distantly, buried in her letter once more, “you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask her. . . .” “What if he doesn’t want to ask her?” said Ron, who had been watching Harry with an unusually shrewd expression on his face. “Don’t be silly,” said Hermione vaguely, “Harry’s liked her for ages, haven’t you, Harry?” He did not answer. Yes, he had liked Cho for ages, but whenever he had imagined a scene involving the two of them it had always featured a Cho who was enjoying herself, as opposed to a Cho who was sobbing uncontrollably into his shoulder.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 460)
Okay, so I have two things to mention about this quote.
The first, Harry realizes he doesn't like Cho and probably never did. He didn't consider dating her until Hermoine mentioned it. He doesn't want to date her. He's terrified and grossed out by the notion.
This isn't a boy with a crush. I'd argue this proves he isn't straight at all. I mean, a guy who is attracted to girls, even if not crushing on Cho specifically, wouldn't be horrified to a painful degree at the thought of going on a date with a pretty girl. Or kissing a pretty girl. His reaction is just too viscerally grossed out.
The second is Ron's response. Not really related to Harry being gay, but I love Harry and Ron's friendship so I want to mention it. Hermione and a good chunk of the fandom dunk on Ron for having "the emotional range of a teaspoon", but he clearly doesn't. Ron is Harry's best friend, he knows Harry better than anyone else, yes, better than Hermione even, and this scene proves it. Hermione is flippant, ignoring Harry's responses to his kiss with Cho, just saying he should ask her out as if it's obvious.
Ron on the other hand, Ron notices Harry's expression and the turmoil thinking of dating Cho causes him. Ron is the one who speaks up that maybe Harry doesn't want to date Cho. He immediately defends Harry and his option to choose not to date Cho. (Ron would be very supportive if Harry ever came out, is what I'm saying)
They sat down at the last remaining table, which was situated in the steamy window. Roger Davies, the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain, was sitting about a foot and a half away with a pretty blonde girl. They were holding hands. The sight made Harry feel uncomfortable, particularly when, looking around the tea shop, he saw that it was full of nothing but couples, all of them holding hands. Perhaps Cho would expect him to hold her hand.
In the time it took for their coffees to arrive, Roger Davies and his girlfriend started kissing over their sugar bowl. Harry wished they wouldn’t; he felt that Davies was setting a standard with which Cho would soon expect him to compete.
(Order of the Pheonix, page 559)
The above quotes are from Harry's disaster of a date with Cho. I think no one needs me to explain that the date went badly, but what I want to note is how uncomfortable and grossed out Harry is by the very notion of holding Cho's hands. That he'd have to kiss her again.
Like, again, even if he isn't crushing on her, a guy who's attracted to girls wouldn't be grossed out and pained at the thought of kissing or holding hands with a pretty, attractive girl.
Harry has never been attracted to Cho, and I don't think he's attracted to girls at all.
But What About Ginny?
So this post has gotten quite long already, but I don't think Harry actually likes Ginny. And I have evidence for it in the sequel to this post that is taking a while to write.
No hate for Hinny shippers, but I don't see the pairing, like, at all. I did write some of my thoughts about Hinny here until I finish with the more comprehensive post about them.
But in general, let's just say Harry never uses the word pretty (or good-looking, or nice-looking, or attractive) to describe Ginny. Ever.
And when I looked for his descriptions of her all I found were descriptions of her hair:
He felt a strange twinge of annoyance as she [Ginny] walked away, her long red hair dancing behind her
(Half-Blood Prince, page 136)
she was the only real thing in the world, Ginny, the feel of her, one hand at her back and one in her long, sweet-smelling hair
(Deathly Hollows, page 103)
(There are more descriptions of her hair in the books, but they follow the same lines as these and don't add more information)
Again, contrast these descriptions to the ones of the guys earlier. No eye color, face shape, eye shape, or descriptions of her body or clothes — nothing.
I have more to say about their relationship, but that's for another post.

🪽Cho Chang🪽
There have been a lot of Gryffindors the past months… and I love all those characters, but I am getting sick of the red uniforms. I LOVED getting to draw Cho in her Ravenclaw colours. She is gorgeous, smart, athletic, popular, has loads of friends and a big heart 💙 She has faith in her friends, forgives them for making mistakes, because after all, we’re just human.
And I think she and Cedric made a cute couple. Let’s all be honest, Harry didn’t actually like her, he just thought she was pretty. And that’s not enough to start a relationship.
PS: can we all agree that Quidditch uniform looks so good on Cho? Damn!
PPS: Also, new art might be taking a bit more time now. I have a full time job working creatively, so most days I’ve run out on all my creative energy. But I love working on these and will definitely finish the whole series. I want to draw all major Harry Potter characters in the wizarding world! 💫

Harry is eight and spending the time he isn’t locked up in his cupboard, or doing house chores, or running away from Dudley and his gang, at the nearby park. He sits on the swing and idly watches the most beautiful boy he’s ever seen.
His name is Malcom, his hair is light brown and his eyes are the prettiest blue Harry’s ever seen.
But— but boys aren’t supposed to be pretty. Boys aren’t supposed to think other boys are pretty, so he makes himself smaller in his worn out jumper and never approaches him again.
Harry is eleven when his life turns upside down and a gangly freckled kid sits next to him on the Hogwarts Express. He looks into his blue eyes and marvels at the bright red of his hair. He wants to reach out and clean the bit of dirt off his nose, but that would be getting too close to another boy, and he couldn’t afford that, could he?
Not when he could imagine tracing all the freckles scattered across his cheeks.
Harry is fourteen when Cedric Diggory falls from the sky and offers him help getting up after using his first Portkey. His hand is big and as calloused as he’d expect a Quidditch player’s to be. He doesn’t like dwelling on the thought of how nice he’d found it.
He asks Cho Chang to the Yule Ball and she rejects him because Cedric Diggory had been quicker. He ends up spending the night on a chair intently looking at the way Cedric’s hand curls around Cho’s waist. He was jealous of him, right?
He tells Sirius about the Yule Ball and he raises an eyebrow at the way Harry describes Cedric’s robes and styled hair but can barely remember the colour of Cho’s dress.
Harry is fifteen when Cho Chang finally agrees to go on a date with him. It happens after they kiss and Harry is eager, he should be, right? The kiss had felt wet and not particularly pleasant and his chest felt a lot warmer as he watched the way Ron laughed when he described it than it had felt when his lips had collided with Cho’s.
The date doesn’t go well, maybe Harry just doesn’t get women.
Sirius says it’s ridiculous, but he doesn’t miss the odd look he and Remus give each other.
Harry is sixteen when he dreams of red hair and freckled skin and in order to escape it he decides to stay up at night and stare at Draco Malfoy’s dot on the Marauder’s Map.
It doesn’t do him good.
He decides the bright red infesting his dreams must be Ginny’s, because he doesn’t know any other red-haired girl. Even though she wears it long and when he dreams it’s short and spiky. And the freckles on her cheeks are not as numerous as the ones he marvels at after falling asleep.
He decides it has to be Ginny, and the thought of it can occupy his mind long enough to make him forget the weird pang and slight sick in his stomach each time he catches Ron snogging Lavender.
When Ginny runs up to him after winning the Quidditch up, he kisses her, because that’s what he’d been dreaming about, right? Hands tangled in red hair and freckled cheeks centimetres from his face, but it feels all wrong.
Ron nods at him and it all feels wrong.
Sirius is not here anymore for Harry to consult, so instead he takes Ginny outside their common room and, on the Hogwarts grounds, opens his heart to her.
She understands.
Harry is seventeen when he has to die and he still hasn’t made sense of the feelings in his chest or why, no matter how much he tried, girls felt so wrong.
It’s not at the forefront of his mind, it’s not even close because the only thing he can think about is the warm bodies laying lifeless in the Great Hall.
But, as he approaches his death, he does spare a thought for the uneasiness he had felt when Hermione kissed Ron, and the discomfort every kiss he’d given before had provided him. He hadn’t lived in full, not even close.
A flash of green light approaches and he finds it silly, how his last thought is of red hair and freckles.
Harry is eighteen when he attends his first Weasley family dinner after the war. The grief is heavy and Fred’s chair is empty but Percy is back home and it does bring at least a shard of comfort to Mrs Weasley. He isn’t alone, Oliver Wood hangs from his arm.
He is eighteen and Percy Weasley introduces Oliver Wood as his boyfriend.
Harry blinks at them and something in his head just clicks.
Harry is twenty when he finally musters the courage to walk into a Gay Bar. He had to Confund the door keeper because he didn’t own an ID, the Dursleys had never bothered giving it to him, given he even had one.
It’s a Muggle place and he feels like the odd one out, terribly dressed down and completely clueless.
He ends up ordering a beer and sitting by the bar.
It’s not until his third visit that a stranger approaches him. He has red hair but his pupils are a soft hazel and his skin isn’t freckled at all. Harry thinks that if he shuts his eyes close, maybe, he could pretend.
His name is Lucas, his lips taste vaguely like strawberries and the kiss doesn’t make Harry want to turn his insides inside out. He smiles and the rush of adrenaline in his veins as Lucas nibs on his bottom lip feels both terrifying and terribly right.
Harry is twenty-three when the cat gets out of the bag.
It’s not because he wanted it, really, but sharing a flat with his best mates could be inconvenient, at times.
He flushed and urges his date to get dressed as he tries to avoid Ron and Hermione’s shocked looks. Their hands are clasped together and Harry has learnt to live with the uncomfortable twist of his stomach by now.
They come off it quickly, though. Ron laughs and pats Harry on the back, says everything is much more clear now.
Harry is twenty-five when he makes his best-man speech at Ron and Hermione’s wedding.
He chokes on his words both because he was never that good at public speaking and because each time he looked at the way Ron’s arm curled around Hermione’s shoulder his throat went a bit drier.
He drinks his glass of champagne in one go and relishes in the burn before fetching Gabriel, his date for the night.
Gabriel stood out like a sour note next to his exes: his hair were a dusty blonde. Harry had thought there would be way too many redheads at the wedding anyways.
Harry is thirty-one when Ron jokes he will never settle down if he keeps on changing men at the same rate he changes his pants, but Harry doesn’t care.
Ron looks thoroughly annoyed and Hermione coughs, worried and almost resigned eyes looking up at her husband.
Harry is thirty-three when Ron shows up at his place with a suitcase and bashfully tells him Hermione wants to file for a divorce.
He just nods and lets Ron in.
Harry is thirty-five when Ron brings back a bottle of expensive Firewhisky and decides they should celebrate the Cannons’ new victory streak on their own.
He hadn’t heard of the Cannons winning anything, recently, but he shrugs it off because it’s not really his thing anyways, Ron would know.
He is thirty-five and Ron, red-haired, freckled and now face flushed sits way too close for comport and traces his lips with a pinky.
He stands up abruptly and loudly declares it’s time for bed. Ron looks quite annoyed, but it will pass.
It must have been his imagination.
Harry is thirty-seven when his best mate breaks down crying in front of him and confesses his feelings through agonising sobs.
He keeps apologising and a tug at his hand breaks Harry out of his stupor. He was sure it must have been a dream, but Ron was real and crying and trembling.
He leans down wordlessly and, finally— sparks.
He is thirty-seven and this is the first time he’s ever felt so alive.
Harry is forty-two when Hagrid walks him down the aisle.
It’s clumsy and messy because they’re both trying not to cry, Harry being much better at it than the half-giant.
He catches a glimpse of Hermione, beaming at him from the front with a knowing smile.
He is forty-two and he is in front of Ron, in white robes. The voices around them nothing but white noise and then Ron leans down and all he can see is— red. Red hair and freckles.

Moonlit Confessions 🌙
Tumblr media
A Cedric Diggory x Fem!reader fic.
Hey guys! This is my first time ever writing a fic. I've been reading fanfics for almost 5 years now, but was either too lazy or didn't get the courage to post my work. Constructive criticism is appreciated but please don't be mean...it's my first time so it'll likely suck 😅 Do give suggestions on how I can improve<3 A huge thanks to @queer-n-here for helping me out with some of the dialogues and plot suggestions. Go check them out!!!
(The reader is a "Prewitt" which is one of the sacred 28 pureblood families. Much like Weasleys as they too don't care about their pureblood status.)
Warnings: none. This is just pure fluff ^w^
Tumblr media
The moon was brighter then ever, as the soft wind blew playing with the locks of your hair. You stood by a large window of the library, waiting for him. But the serenity of the night sky had tranced you in it's beauty, so much so that you didn't even notice Cedric when he entered.
“The moon is beautiful, isn't it?”
You snapped out of your daze as you stepped back, startled.
“How long have you been here?” you asked with a surprised smile.
"Not long."
He replied with a smile, there was a faraway look in his eyes with a hint of excitement?....or was it mischief? but there was something about his expression you couldn't place your finger on.
"By the way, did you figure out the clue yet?" He asked.
"Not yet, that thing screams every time I open it. I'm surprised, it hasn't made me deaf yet." Your said, earning a chuckle from him.
Cedric had asked you for help with the golden egg he had got hold of in the first round of Triwizard tournament. He only trusted you with it. You and Cedric had known each other since you were practically babies. It was because both your parents were childhood friends as well.
"Then do we atleast have a lead?" He asked with an hopeful expression.
"Please don't tell me you owled that note saying, "Come to the library ASAP" just to show me a rock you found by the lake side again that was shaped like a pygmy puff." He teased.
"Oh shush, I did that when I was eleven! And the rock was cute."
"You haven't changed one bit, have you?" He shook his head chuckling.
You simply rolled your eyes with a small smile, "I do have a theory though."
Cedric crossed his arms as leaned against the wall with a curious expression, "Enlighten me, then."
"What if the scream was of the next creature you have to fight against? Just like the dragons?" You said walking towards a table which had two books you had picked out as you handed one to him. "We can try to figure out the possible creature you might have to fight against."
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." Cedric read the title out loud, "I feel like vicious would've been a better way to describe them." He added with an airy chuckle.
"Don't say that in front of someone who wants to be a magizoologist." You said with a playful glare.
"To you even an Erumpent is just as cute as a puppy." He replied with a teasing smile.
Cedric pulled out a chair for you and helped you get seated as he sat in front of you.
"Since when did you become such a gentleman?" You teased.
"Well, I can't help but channel my inner gentleman around you. Just trying to set the bar high, you know?" He replied with his classic smirk.
You raised an eyebrow, "Just around me? Are you sure you're allowed to say that with all your fangirls eavesdropping on our conversation?"
He loved this banter that they had. You were the only one on whom his charms wouldn't work and he took it as a challenge to change that.
"Well, it'll be easier to let them know I'm taken that way." He replied with a flirty smirk.
You rolled your eyes acting like it didn't bother you but your cheeks were dusted with the lightest shade of pink. It was barely visible but didn't go unnoticed by Cedric that was what he needed, a signal that he does affect her.
He rested his head in his arms as he smiled sweetly at you. "You look cute when you blush like that~"
"You're not the first one who said that to me." You replied with a sassy smirk, though internally you had melted in a puddle of blushing mess.
Cedric though smiling, visibly tensed at that reply.
"Haha, I guess I'll have to try harder to come up with compliments that leave you speechless then. Challenge accepted, and I think it'll be an easy win for me as it's hard not to compliment someone as adorable as you, even if it's been said before." He replied with a wink.
"We'll see about that." You replied with a small smile. "But for now, let's focus on the task, shall we?"
Cedric nodded, "So, that scream is well terrifying to say the least...could it be a Banshee?" He said pointing at the text under the image.
"A Banshee is a female spirit in Irish folklore who heralds the death of a family member, usually by screaming, wailing, shrieking, or keening." You read out loud.
"Well I don't think so, I mean, whose death are we talking about here? There aren't any dementors here anymore. But we can't completely rule out the possibility as the Triwizard Tournament which was held in 1792, had one of the tasks involving catching a cockatrice. However, the beast went on a rampage and injured three of the judges, the Head of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang. I read that in Hogwarts, A History." You added.
"Really? But don't you think that after this tragic incident the authorities would be more careful?" Cedric asked curiously.
"Hmm. You do have a point...so perhaps it's a siren?" You thought out loud.
"Maybe? I read somewhere that a sirens scream can deafen a man and transform a woman into one of them." Cedric replied.
The two of you searched the entire Magical Creatures section of the library for an hour, but there wasn't much of a lead. Finally, Cedric suggested to take a break to go get some fresh air.
You both walked towards your usual spot near the lake. The moonlight illuminated the crystal clear waters of the lake, casting shimmering reflections that danced upon the surface with an ethereal grace, as if the night itself had decided to paint upon the canvas of the water.
As you both sat on the shore, you saw a really cute rock. "Ced, look! this looks like a Fwooper"
He simply chuckled, "Are you sure you wanna become a magizoologist? You could become naturalist considering your never-ending pile of rock collection."
"Well I love cute rocks, but I love animals more. All the rocks I have collected look like some sort of animal." You replied.
Cedric nodded, "So we have the next Newt Scamander in making. I see." He replied with a smile.
"Do you have the golden egg with you right now?" He asked randomly.
"Yeah why?"
"I wanna see if there are any marks or symbols carved on it that can give us a clue? Or perhaps help us understand that scream in a way?" He replied.
"That's a good idea." You replied as you opened your side bag, as you rummaged through its contents. But it was a bit hard because of the extending charm you'd used on it. Finally giving up with a frustrated sigh you took out your wand.
"Accio, golden egg." You casted the spell making the egg fly out of your bag and landing on the ground with a thud which opened it.
A ear piercing scream filled up the quite night, as the egg vibrated from the sound and fell into the lake.
You stood their horrified your hands trying to shut your ears.
"Holy Merlin!" Cedric exclaimed as he took his shirt off and jumped into the lake.
Expecting to hear the screams he was surprised to hear a melodious voice instead.
"Come seek us where our voices sound,
We cannot sing above the ground,
And while you're searching ponder this;
We've taken what you'll sorely miss,
An hour long you'll have to look,
And to recover what we took,
But past an hour, the prospect's black,
Too late, it's gone, it won't come back."
As he closed the egg and got out of the lake, he had an excited smile on his face which confused you.
"This things scream changes into a song underwater!" He replied with a grin.
Your eyes sparkled as you smiled, "It's Mermish! That means the next task has Merpeople involved. It's likely gonna be an underwater task!" You replied.
"We finally figured it out!" you said as you hugged him excitedly, but pulled away sheepishly when you realised that he was still drenched and half naked. You looked away embarassed and blushing heavily.
"Like what you see?" He teased.
"Just get dressed for Merlin's sake!" You replied, earning a chuckle from him.
Tumblr media
The next few days were spent trying to figure out this what was the most valuable thing that the Merpeople would steal from him.
"What is it that you cherish the most, that you can't live without?" You asked.
"Uh...I don't know." The look that he gave you said otherwise though.
"Oh c'mon Ced! What is it?"
"You're asking the wrong question. Instead of what it should be who." He replied with a soft smile.
"What do you mean?... Who is it?" You asked confused.
"I would let you figure that out." He replied, chuckling at her obliviousness.
"Ced! please!"
"I've got Potions now, better get going before Snape gets all cranky." He replied with a smile. "Good luck with your little quest!" He added winking before he left.
You sighed as you hugged the books closer to your chest.
"Hey Y/N! I was just wondering if you're still up for the study session today?" Cho Chang asked startling you, making you drop your books clumsily.
"Oh shoot, I'm sorry I'm such a klutz." You apologized embarrassed as Cho helped you pick up your books.
"Don't be! I'm sorry I startled you." She replied with a smile.
That's when you noticed a book in her hand that you hadn't seen before. "What's it about?" you asked pointing at it.
"Oh this! It's a Japanese muggle comic, it's called a Manga."
"That explains why I haven't heard of it...so what's the plot for this one?"
"Girl! Have you been residing in a broom cupboard at the top of the Astronomy Tower? It's a period comic and it's literally so famous even the wizarding world knows about it! I've been obsessed with this, there's this really handsome guy who just confessed to his love interest! I'm so happy!!" Cho replied with an excited smile.
“The moon is beautiful, isn't it?” you read out loud. "How is this a love confession?" You asked confused.
"This phrase is a more poetic way of saying I love you. It's meant to express love indirectly, since in Japanese culture earlier it was considered rude to directly state your feelings or needs." Cho explained.
"Anyways I got to go now, don't forget about the study sessions! Also I have quite a collection of mangas if you want, you can borrow them. Muggle writers have really good imagination." She said as she waved you goodbye.
Suddenly everything clicked, as you were reminded of what Cedric said a few days ago. A soft blush formed on your cheeks.
"I guess...I figured it out, Ced." You mumbled to yourself with a smile.

Ways J.K Rowling did poc dirty in canon:
Making the last name of one of her most powerful black characters “Shacklebolt” - a crude af reference to slavery and just in very poor taste.
Naming her only east Asian character “Cho Chang” - a Korean surname as a first name for a Chinese character - proving she did no research whatsoever into Chinese naming traditions.
Cho’s characterization also leans in to the trope of tragic Asian female characters being defined by their romantic connections to white men, as in “Miss Saigon” or “A Quiet American.” Cho’s storyline centers on her romantic involvement with Cedric, Harry and Roger Davies. She gets no meaningful arc of her own.
The sidekick-ification of Lee Jordan.
Michael Corner being referred to as “the dark one” which is bad enough, and then him being whitewashed in the films.
Pansy Parkinson’s comment about Angelina Johnson’s braided hair looking like “worms” goes completely unpunished. Rowling treats this as standard bullying instead of a racially-charged comment. Rowling clearly didn’t understand the serious implications of this comment and its rooting in deeply-ingrained discrimination against black hairstyles, or she would have written a similar reaction to this as she did to that of Hermione being called a “Mudblood.”
House Elves as a metaphor for slaves is highly problematic because they are depicted as “liking” their enslavement and being complicit in it, much like the black slaves in “Gone With The Wind.” Despite Dobby being a beloved character, he is also seen as an anomaly for desiring freedom, and many other House Elves are depicted as grotesque, fawning, ridiculous or sinister. Pretty garbage metaphor for black slaves.
In Goblet of Fire Rowling describes a group of “African” wizards wearing “long white robes” and “roasting what looked like a rabbit on a bright purple fire.” This is just… *sigh* The way this is worded is very clearly just token exoticism and includes no genuine detail about their clothing, cultural food or nationality. It’s just “wow those zany rabbit-eating Africans and their purple fire.” Once again black characters are being used as examples of otherness rather than shown as human beings.
Rowling has openly admitted that she created a detailed backstory for Dean Thomas, one of the series’ few black characters, but did not include it in the books and included the backstory of Neville Longbottom, a white character, instead.
Approving the casting of a white actress in the role of Lavender Brown in the films, a character the majority of readers assumed was black.
The portrayal of Blaise Zabini’s “famously beautiful” black mother who was known for offing her husbands and taking their money. Like. Come on. Tbh she sounds like a queen but violent woc gold digger is still a shit trope.
Just the entire treatment of the Patil twins at the Yule Ball, the way Harry and Ron treated them and Rowling’s garbage attempt at describing their traditional clothing.
Padma Patil’s portrayal in Cursed Child as the stereotypical controlling Indian wife. The idea of ending up with her instead of Hermione being positioned as some kind of horrible alternate reality for Ron had very xenophobic undertones, and while Hermione is portrayed as black in the play, I don’t believe that Rowling originally intended her to be a black character nor that casting directors deliberately set out to cast a black actress as Hermione in Cursed Child initially.

Inspired by @angelltheninth. Thank you for always writing such amazing posts!
ᴹᵃˢᵗᵉʳˡᶤˢᵗ
𝑺𝑭𝑾🌿
A glimpse into your life with your HP s/o.
𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐚
・Constantly forgets where she puts things
“It’s the nargles...” Luna mutters, looking underneath the couch pillows for her necklace.
“It’s not the nargles,” you reply, shaking your head.
・Always makes you late because she forgets her wand or bag
・So you create a space where she is allowed to dump her things. It actually made it a lot easier. You’ve dubbed it ‘Luna’s Space’
・Even though she can ‘Accio’ her things, she actually needs her wand to do that, and she also forgets her wand.
・Yes, there are a lot of animals in and around your household
・Luna cannot help but attract them
・And they’re usually a mix of muggle animals as well as magical animals
・Bowtruckles that like to hide in your jacket pockets, jackalope’s that like to sneak inside and fall asleep in front of the fire, a kneazle who actually bonded with you and rarely leaves your side (gets upset when you have to leave her at home)
・You cook as Luna is ghastly at making food
・But she tidies up and makes sure the fire is always burning (for some reason she’s always cold)
・Nights snuggling on the couch, sharing a big fuzzy blanket and staring into the flames,, or reading a book
𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝
・Is very messy. He leaves his clothes scattered around the place. You’ve told him that if he continues to do it then you’ll shrink his clothes.
・He respected the threat, and his clothes now live in their proper places
・Is a bit of a wiz in the kitchen -
・Until you realised that he was just enchanting everything to cook themselves
・Is quite social so there’s usually someone coming around each week (either George or Lee Jordan)
・A lot of testers for the joke shop are done at home, so if something blows up then...Fred is in big f*cking trouble
・He actually journals a LOT
・And has some really interesting ideas
・Wants to travel with you, to experience different cultures
・Ultimately he wants to learn about different forms of magic so he can incorporate it into his life and work
・You do visit Molly a lot, and sit down with her, Ginny and Hermione to discuss life
・Arthur becomes a great confidant as well. He has some great knowledge, espcially about his son
・Fred has extravagant gifts for you. They may not be expensive since he’s saving money, but he does want to make you feel special
・In terms of pets, Fred wants ones that can be useful. But sometimes you get lonely when you come home from work and he’s still at the shop
・So you’re still deciding on what you want to get...
𝐂𝐡𝐨
・Wanted to be the sole person in charge of decorating
・An apartment not too far from the heart of London
・Everything in your house is a light blue with hints of silver and a dash of purple
・Took a lot of inspiration from the beauxbatons, their uniform as well as their overall aesthetic with a hint of Ravenclaw
・Everything is very orderly and she likes things in their proper places
・For pets you both have your Hogwarts animal - hers is an owl, and you also surprised her with a completely white ragdoll kitten on her first anniversary together (she absolutely loved it)
・Cho loves to sit down with you and talk about each other’s day. What went on and such
・She’s a very touchy person so she loves when you hold her hand and cup her cheek
・She’s also in touch with her emotions and is usually the first to cry in sad situations
・Has a certain routine for her hair, and it actually does work because it is ALWAYS SHINY
・Likes board games as well
・Has a family game night with her side of the family once every two weeks
𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞
・Is surprisingly clean -
・Always picks up after himself and does a bit of spring cleaning here and there
・He picked it up from his mother; someone had to. And he was used to being the clean twin. The one who cleaned up after Fred
・His favourite meal is a full baked roast dinner. With Yorkshire puddings and loads of gravy.
・Once a week you visit the Burrow for dinner. And Molly fusses over you two, saying that you need to eat more. You always leave with a whole sack full of random items for the house. Old lamps, rolls of toilet paper, once she gave you a side table
・Fred is a constant visitor at your and George’s place. He’s almost living there himself
・There’s even been a few times where he’s gotten you groceries
・George is terrible at saying no to you, so whatever you want, you always get
・Your home is practically the Burrow - you liked the feel of George’s home so much that you did your best to recreate it but add a bit of you in as well
・George absolutely loves living with you. His heart is always full.
・Sometimes he’ll come home and Fred will be in the kitchen, rummaging through the pantry while you’re on the lounge reading, drawing or listening to music
・It’s a quiet life but George loves it. It’s a reprieve from the shop with Fred, which is always loud and chaotic
・You do visit him and he always has a beaming smile on his face when he sees you
・At home there’s a room full of packages for the joke shop. Some simply toys, others potions and oils. Do you test them out? Sure do - George is happy for you to do so
𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐲
・Grew up with everything handed to her on a silver platter
・Once she changed her view on muggles, her family basically threw her out
・Taking pity on her, and thinking the world can be better, you created a friendship. Friendship grew to relationship and that grew to love.
・So, instead of being merely roommates, you were now a couple
・She’s not the easiest person to get along with. But once you both found your flow, then you were both settled.
・Pansy forced her femininity in school, but she found that she actually preferred to take on the ‘masculine roles.
・Can’t lie magic is still a big help though, and Pansy would be absolutely lost if she was in the muggle world
・Your friends are now her friends. It took a lot of time for them to get around the idea, especially Ginny, but turns out they bonded really deeply
・When Ginny invited the both of you to the Burrow one day Pansy cried that very night
・She had never seen a family like this
・There was so much love. And Mrs Weasley was so attentive.
・One of the things that Pansy loved the most was when Mrs Weasley called her “dear”
・And you nearly cried because it’s such a little thing and Pansy never got to experience that
𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲
・He wasn’t sure how you wanted to go about this
・Because Harry grew up in the muggle world, as did you, so you were both excited to find the charms that would make domestic life easier
・Like in the Burrow, where Mrs Weasley had the chores done by magic
・So you and Harry went to Hermione to find the charms (for some reason Flitwick hadn’t taught that)
・The first time you used it, you and Harry jumped up in the air and wooped. You high fived and kept doing it on different items
・It’s one of your favourite memories
・Headmaster McGonnagall comes to dinner every second Tuesday - she wanted it to be weekly but she was just too busy.
・She comes in her robes and is tight lipped when she first enters your home. But after she sits down, her demeanour changes.
・Minerva knows what she can and can’t say, but when she’s had a few wines she becomes loose-lipped
・Once she turned into her animagus and fell asleep on your lap, purring loudly
・Sometimes you have to leave the room because her and Harry have very intense conversations; you just want to give him privacy - he never wants you to leave. But you’re usually make ten minutes later with three steaming cups of tea
・You have framed pictures of Dumbledore, Hagrid and Snape hanging on the hallway walls
・His parents are in the centre on the fireplace mantelpiece
・The first night you slept in your own home, Harry cried. When you asked why, he told you a story about the Dursleys
・And then you started crying as well
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞
・Busy lifestyle. She always has something to do, so you both split the chores 50/50 as you both work
・Things always have their place. And when they aren’t in their place Hermione does her best not to lose it
・And the house is always clean (she knows all the charms)
・The kitchen cleans itself, the bed is always made, shoes are at the front door etc
・They’re charms that are a few steps ahead of what Mrs Weasley uses (Hermione learnt them while reading of course). Once she tried to tell Mrs Weasley about them and the red-headed woman practically walked away (she thinks her way is best).
・You’ve asked Hermione to teach you everything she knows, that’s why your relationship works. You love her intelligence and knowledge.
・She isn’t that big on pets though, and has a 5 year plan
“I’m sorry Y/n, but having a pet wasn’t a part of our plan.”
“Hermione please, look at him!”
・She absolutely crumbled when you did the puppy dog eyes while holding the puppy against your face
“...okay fine, but I’m not picking up any poo.” (She most certainly did.)
・So you have beagle called Finley. And Hermione pretended to be indifferent with him for about a week, and then she fell in love
・Finley goes everywhere with you two, and Hermione’s parents are shocked when the three of you turn up to dinner
   “Umm, sweetheart why-”
“This is Finley, mum and dad, please treat him with respect.”
𝐑𝐨𝐧
・He had no idea where to start when you first moved in together. He was an absolute mess
“I just don’t know what you mean by decorating! This is too stressful-”
・Has Harry around a lot. Or at least, asks him to come around a lot
・You guys go to the Burrow at least once a week for a family dinner - everyone is there, and when someone can’t attend, Mrs Weasley is nearly on the brink of tears
・After Ron gets used to the idea of living in his own place, with you. He starts to settle. He finds his routine.
・He’s usually the last one to wake up and the last to go to bed.
・Absolutely adores sweets, and keeps a whole drawer full next to his bed. In the middle of the night you’ll hear a rustle and it’s Ron opening a chocolate frog
  “Aw, Dumbledore again-”
・Sends howlers to Fred and George, specifically to their shop so they’ll open them in the middle of the store
・You told Ron it was a terrible idea because they hit back 5x harder
・Harry tells Ron about television and Ron absolutely loses it, goes out and buys one the next day
・His favourite programmes are the Vicar of Dibley and Absolutely Fabulous (although pretends to hate it - turns it off whenever you come into the room),
𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐲
・So excited to move in together!!!
・Her parents are extra pushy because she’s their little girl. But they know you’ll look after her (which is true, but Ginny is the one who wears the pants in this relationship)
・A lot of Quidditch posters and books
・You have to tell her not to ride her broom in the house
・Wants to adopt ALL THE DOGS
・She’s at Quidditch practice a lot, so you usually get the things you need to get done in that time so when she comes back you can spend time together
・Ginny is always bringing you back flowers. And they’re huge bouquets. They’re different every time
・Likes to surprise you with her cooking skills because Mrs Weasley is a bit traditional that way (she didn’t teach her sons how to cook)
・Actually doesn’t cry that often and has her sh*t together most of the time
・Or she seems like she has her shit together most of the time
・Very good at remembering appointments and the like
・Didn’t care much about decorating the place, but did want it to be cosy like the Burrow
・Has little knick knacks on the kitchen window sill
・And wears gloves while she does the dishes
𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞
・I think it’s pretty obvious, but Neville’s home would be COVERED with plants. Vines growing on poles, flowers blooming across window sills,
・He waters, feeds and tends to them everyday. Not missing a single one.
・Neville is awake at about 5:30am to do all of it
・Because by that time it’s nearly 7:45 and he has to get ready for work
・Never leaves to go anywhere without giving you a kiss
・Feeds the birds but doesn’t realise that that means a whole flock will came back next time
・You go to see his parents with him at St. Mungos hospital
・And you hold him as he cries in your arms afterwards
・Has nightmares about his parents and it wakes you up in the middle of night
・You met his grandmother and although you have to give her credit for raising Neville, she was quite horrible to him.
・You’ve told Neville that you will have a go at her if she says one bad thing about him (that includes passive aggressiveness, alluding to him, or anything that could be seen as an insult)
・He loves you for it
・But still has a soft place in his heart for the woman that raised him
𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨
・After the Battle of Hogwarts Draco’s perspective of the world changed
・He saw horrors as well as allowed horrors to happen. He felt immense guilt.
・And his relationship with his father was practically ruined
・His mother was the only parent he saw. But she still had the outlook that purebloods were the only people worthy of respect
・Draco knew he had to make amends. His conscience was heavy.
・So he went back to Hogwarts and asked the Headmistress McGonaggal how to make up for his wrong doings.
・That’s how you and Draco got together
・After some time, when your relationship was established, he moved out of the Malfoy Mansion and in with you
・It was a difficult transition, especially the fact that there was no one to wait on him hand and foot
・You taught him how to cook - or at least the charms on how to do so
・At first it was goddamn hard, but he endured
・And the look on your face when he got it right ... god ... he needed to impress you again and again. Just to see that look.
・Turns out he’s actually he very good cook. Not that great at cleaning up after himself, but luckily you live in a world of magic
・You even let him decorate wherever he wished
・He chose quite gothic dark academia style
・Rich colours; deep emerald, dark blue, burgundy, maroon
・His mother was still giving him money though-
・And you said that he should invite her over
・That first dinner was especially difficult. The look on her face when she walked in ... you could read exactly what she was thinking ‘small, ... poor, why would he give up living with me for this.’
・But the love for her son outweighed the prejudice in her heart

Cho Chang's name is pretty racist.
What's also true is that a lot of Asian babies were adopted by white families.
What's not to say that this doesn't also happen in Wizarding Society?
Cho Chang is the adopted daughter of a white pureblood family, doesn't understand much of her Asian roots - not even the language or the cuisine - although she would very much like to and the trauma involved of being adopted and alienated from her birth culture.
Now that would be a fascinating lens to explore the Harry Potter world.

So a very large part of the fandom can't forgive Cho for siding with her most faithful friend, Percy for wanting to run away to a place where he could get credit for his determination after he didn't get it from his family, and Lavender for being just plain miserable in love BUT they forgave Draco and James for being just pampered bullies because they "changed"? Come on.
