I'm currently doing research on the 3DS's launch for a video and was surprised at how complementary reviewers were of the 3D tech. By the time I heard most folks talking about the 3DS, it seemed like the common refrain was to label it a gimmick. I'm glad to see that sentiment didn't originate from the tech journalists covering it.

I'd like to just put it out there that the Pokemon Artistry archive (link: https://pokemon-artistry.tumblr.com/archive ) contains over 30,000 pieces of Pokemon art from Tumblr artists dating back to March, 2018.
If you're ever in the mood to just browse a ton of quality Pokemon fan art from a ton of very skilled artists, it's a very easy resource to scroll through.

It's kinda silly, but I was able to buy coffee yesterday thanks to folks buying and donating funds on Ko-fi. Going on two months of being unemployed, money's a bit tight. Having even a small amount of extra funds from my art for something comforting really makes a difference.

Since it's the time of year when everyone recaps the art they've been working on all year, here's where you can find all my pieces in an easy collection:

I just realized I've written well over 100,000 words this year on the topic of video game tech, and I can't wait to write even more next year.

There's nothing more nerve-racking then attempting to create a decent logo for myself (especially with companies reaching out to me for professional inquiries and whatnot).
But, anyway, here's me attempting to land on a semi-decent logo for my YouTube channel. I feel like each year I'm getting a bit closer to goodness.

I'm going on 3 months being unemployed. It's the longest I've been unemployed in the past 12 years, and it's been stressing me out quite a bit.

One of the magical things I learned about cooking is that a ton of great meals can be created from picking a grain, protein, vegetable, and (optional) sauce, and then rearranging them on a plate as I see fit.

I'm currently interviewing folks for analyst positions and have (once again) realized resume design is a huge first impression builder.
If you ever find yourself interviewing with someone like me, here are some tips to get me excited about your resume:
Use Color: These days, resumes are being seen mostly on computer screens which don't have color limitations. Don't go overboard but using a couple colors to highlight sections or key info can go a long way toward increasing the interest of the resume.
Stick to one page: Essentially, you just need to include your most pertinent information. A second page should only be used out of necessity (e.g., listing publications).
Don't write a novel: Stick to a couple bullet points for each of your highlighted experiences. Bullet points should only be one line a piece and give me a general idea of what you've done.
Link your projects: If you have projects you don't mind sharing, provide the link! Seeing someone's GitHub repository can tell a lot more about their potential skill set than a brief interview.
White space is your friend: Horizontal line breaks and whitespace (within reason) between sections can help quite a bit to break up the page and allow my eyes to flow naturally between subjects.

A Legends Arceus Nuzlocke sounds like the most painful experience possible.

Apparently, this blog turns 7 today. Over those years, I've managed:
79,984 posts
85,570 likes
A handful of posts above 1,000 notes
And I think that's pretty neat.
