tried the eating an orange in the shower thing tonight and i get it. it was so nice. it smelled good, the orange was nice and cold and sweet, i got to tear into it with my teeth and hands like the visceral little animal i am, and it all washed off after and made me feel refreshed. very worthwhile experience

Dried orange slices experiment: success!

Think I'll use that to make Christmas ornaments this year (I love the idea of food-based garlands like with oranges and cranberries and popcorn but haven't done it, we never made those when I was a kid cause our dog would've eaten them lol). Might need to dehydrate the oranges for another hour or so, but for a first attempt I'm happy! Wasn't sure what to use these oranges for, so I made a ~fancy~ bath with some and I might put a slice in my tea later 👀

#a youtuber i watch often puts a slice of dried lemon in her tea and it looks delightful #i accidentally bought TOO MANY ORANGES a couple weeks ago so at least this used up 2 of em #id love to get some cara cara oranges so i can have multicolored garlands... that'd be cool #would clash horribly with my red/green decorations too lol
