I’m going to fight whoever started the “Alan and Lora are a bit chaste/conservative/less touching as a couple compared to Tron/Yori ” thing… because I bought it. I did. Now that I’ve watched it a few times- how on earth did anyone come to that conclusion?! Is it because their on the nerdier side? Because they dress appropriately for a corporate setting? As frankly, they’re super loving and cute. First thing they do once Alan is on the floor of the laser bay is kiss. Then for the rest of their screen time “if we aren’t holding hands we will explode. That’s not a threat it will literally happen” they’re actually quite touchy? Comparatively I’d argue it’s Tron and Yori who are the more chaste- equally touchy and loving but a kiss isn’t a thing yet (cannonical program sex but a kiss is a new thing??) so they just stare.
